I feel like my main self insert OC being someone who was cursed to never be satisfied with anything ever by a being he knows nothing about is more of a reflection of myself than I realized and either it's a self fulfilling prophecy or I am just now noticing that I made him in my image. I feel like a monster always taking and taking and taking and needing and needing and needing and it just doesn't stop. Iks is literally a monster and he is always in pain and hungry and sexually dissatisfied and lonely. And maybe I too am a ravenous monster truly. I feel like a teenager forever.... Iks first death was at age 19 and he never really grew much after he died. Other than growing the claws and getting taller, but he still has that awkward teenage lankiness. Idk man the way I still dream in my awkward middle school body and shit despite the horrors I've lived through... Maybe I am Iks and Iks is me and I need to think about the way I choose to represent myself more deeply lol
