According to the synopsis of the official website, All Of Those Voices offers an "intimate and unedited vision of Louis' life and career," where we can explore from his years with One Direction to how he became the successful musician he is today. Thus, Louis will show us a facet of himself that we have never seen before and his confrontation with the highest and lowest moments of his career.

Kill Up, Down
Louis Tomlinson's shows in Chile - on May 15, 16 and 17 last year - were an immediate connection between the singer and the Louies of our country. Even one of the most memorable moments was captured and became the official poster of All Of Those Voices.
Tumblr media
After watching the trailer - and observing a little of its passage through Chile in between - we hope to remember the concerts through exclusive images, and above all, if they documented the Fan Action "Kill Arriba, My Abajo" that went viral thanks to the incredible management of the fans.
Watch the backstage of the Tour
The singer's first solo tour "Louis Tomlinson World Tour" was a total success that had 53 dates in different countries in Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania and Latin America. This is why we want to see how great this process was for Louis, what his perspective is of playing live music, and how it was for him to meet his fans.
His story as an artist
One of the most anticipated topics of the documentary is to know in depth the process of Louis Tomlinson as a soloist, beyond his career with One Direction. Thanks to the fact that he has always shared a sincere vision with his fans, we are excited to discover more about his story, perhaps with aspects that we have never seen before.
In addition, we want to observe the creative process of his second album "Faith In The Future" and how Louis and his team built the musical identity of this project, in order to continue forge his career.
Don't miss "All Of Those Voices" by Louis Tomlinson, in theaters since March 22. Buy your tickets through allofthosevoices.com

Blog Prompt 4: Photomontage
Canon 5D Mark IV, 24-70mm 2.8 Lens, Dynalite Strobes, Strip Softbox with the top half covered in cine-foil.
Triptych: "What", "Is", "Happening" (Top, Center, Bottom)
Color Symbolism:
Orange- optimism, confidence, enthusiasm, warmth, agreeableness, superficiality, arrogance, or pride
Blue- Open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, sensitivity, depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith or pride
I am wearing orange, because its symbolism is usually associated with positive connotation and the things surrounding me are usually pretty hectic and out of control. The orange bunch of flowers is vibrant and a part of my visual identity assignment, which ties into femininity in its curvy/"s" structure juxtaposed with the rigidity of the stiff stems.

I was lucky enough to be asked by AbelCine to discuss the Cine capture of live music.
Deep dive into the tech side of what we do....
In our latest Creative Forces conversation, Jeff Lee sits down with multi Grammy nominated and Emmy, BAFTA, and DGA Award winning director Paul Dugdale who is known for creating outstanding music documentaries, concert films, and global live events with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Adele, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, and Elton John.
Their in-depth conversation covers Dugdale’s approach to capturing live performances, working with artists, when to use new technology (and when not to), collaborating on set, and much more. Here are some highlights:
Paul Dugdale on his early influences and being inspired by his father who was in the business and brought him on jobs as a teen:
“I was so into music at that point, and he was taking me to mostly concerts and big awards shows and stuff that I just completely got the bug at that point. Even before then, he had once asked me when I was a really small kid about imagining a song and what the music video would be like for it. And I remember just being able to answer him instantly, like I had already thought about music in sort of visual terms, really kind of strange.”
Dugdale on his goals when capturing live concerts:
“The intention is to literally embody that stage production and try to maximize, emphasize, all of the best parts of it, and try and translate that to screen. And also to try to capture the relationship between artist and audience in the room…. I think that’s where the magic happens, so to speak, is where you can really show what it feels like to be there, not only what it looks like. That’s my recurring intention, is just to get the absolute maximum out of every show and show what it feels like to be in front of that artist and listing to that music.”
Dugdale on live gigs versus home viewing:
“I think it’s just a different thing. [During COVID, people were saying music streamed without an audience was ‘as good as a gig’.] I definitely don’t think it’s as good as a gig. I love going to see live music. I think it’s totally different. But we’re the next possible best thing.… Whether we can recreate the feeling of being in that room or not, we can certainly show you more. At least we’ve got that going for us…. That’s the most important thing to me, to try and make you feel something at home.”
Dugdale on his career:
“I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do. It’s hard work, but it doesn’t feel like work because it’s so fun. Part of the reason I’m so lucky is that the range of music and the variety of artists that you get to work with is so broad that it just makes things so exciting and interesting for someone as curious as me… [W]orking on these concerts, because each one is different and the music always requires a different dynamic to how we film it and our approach, essentially, it’s a new script every show. It just never gets boring. Long may it continue.”

Vaal - Love Reversed - Eliot Sumner’s electronica alias, new album on Bedouin
Love Reversed is a thrilling sophomore album by Vaal that will be released 4th November on Bedouin, with the single 'Song Zero‘ on 7th October. Eliot Sumner started producing electronic music under the guise of Vaal in 2012. The idea behind the moniker was to be anonymous and for the music to speak entirely for itself. ‘Matteo of Tale of Us got in touch after my second self release Cine. They signed me as a Life and Death and Afterlife artist. I worked with them for 5 years producing records such as Wander To Hell, Concor EP and Monument.‘ says Vaal on how they started to carve their way in electronic music. ‘I decided to start another label of my own, Pale Blue Dot and debuted my first album as Vaal named Nosferatu. The album was Mixmag’s album of the month in 2019 and the music video for song ‘Blue Eyes‘, directed by Sergei Rostropovich was very well received.‘ Love Reversed is a consistent cinematic journey. The album sees emotional depths underway layered with breaks and vocals brought to the front resulting in charged and on occasions laid back instrumental narrations. Love Reversed digs deep and uses its polarities to its functional benefit, calling forth both intensity and dreamy sonical restraint. The album picks up where Nosferatu left off. More noise, more guitars, and more emotions.

in-depth idea for cinematic
In the beginning of the cine it will present the two main leaders of the two sides. It will show how they are in an era of peace. after a moment of that it will then switch to a scene where the two sides get in a position to why they end up fighting against each other. In the next scene it will then show the two sides fighting, I want to try have two armies of people on two sides and have them charge at each other. at the front will be the two main leaders up against each other and then the camera will down down the middle whilst all the people will charge at each other. I was thinking of having it set in old times so maybe during the knight era or even before that.
This is what I plan on doing for the cinematic to begin with, whilst in development I may plan on doing more throughout it or even add more at the end.

A Guide To Shooting In Natural Light
Tumblr media
A Guide On Using The Sun As A Light Source:
The first and most important thing, is that you must always be aware of your own postition in relation to the sun, because it's the only thing you can actually control.
You won't ever be able to control how hot the sun is, or when it goes behind clouds but you'll always be able to control you're own positioning.
To understand the reason for this, you must understand the difference between diffused and direct light.
Meet Chantel. She's our model photographed below, and she was kind enough to pose for us.
Observe in the image below how the direct sunlight completely covers Chantel and she is completely exposed with realy only the shadow under her neck and the shadows of the soccer net falling over her.
Tumblr media
Now in the image below, with Chantel photographed in a medium close-up, we no longer have the sun light falling over her face and covering her completely, and more darkness and shadow completely covering the right side of her face.
Her hair and her positioning provide some diffusion in this case and because the sun is to her left, light is almost completely blocked off.
Tumblr media
Now observe in the picture below is very different because her face is exposed with no shadow falling over it.
In this case, we used a reflector to fill out all the shadows that would otherwise be present on her face, and because I used the gold side of the reflector, you can see the kind of golden glow brought on by the reflector reflecting the sunlight.
Tumblr media
By utilizing a reflector we are taking more control of what we are looking at and the lighting situation that we are in as well as using our positiong relative to the sun.
This is a thoery that get way more in-depth the deeper in to photography you go, more especially in studio lighting situations, but even in you favorite television shows, an intense amount of thought and gear is needed to capture what you may percieve as an ordinary scene outdoors.
youtube
This video above is from Crimson Engine and he's one of the best youtubers I've watched as it pertains to all things film and video.
Because he is working in video and not stills, and becasue he is primarily shooting actors, Crimson Engine utilizes c-stands, flags, reflectors, large diffusion filters and other equipment that is quite heavy but sometimes completely necessary.
Another really informative piece of video about this top is from In Depth Cine, and he has a guide on lighting scenes without lights at all, and to do this he advises bouncing reflectors.
Tumblr media
So in a situation where you cannot control your lighting, say like a sporting event, your best hack is to always understand where you are in relation to where the sun is.
Understanding this well enough will allow you to get good well exposed photographs even though your are in the outdoor with no equipment.
Just a hack I wanted to share.

Terry Gilliam, a man you most likely know from longtime comedy classic Monty Python, has reliably influenced my cinematic outlook for years, mainly through his devotion to Magical Realism in films like Time Bandits, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and even Fear and Loathing if you squint. 12 Monkeys continues this tradition with the marriage of Magical Realism and Sci-Fi, telling the classic story of Bruce Willis going back in time to gather information on an apocalyptic virus.
The story itself, hinging on themes of sanity, memory and our relationship with the past, is solid, an interesting take on a premise beaten to death in every medium it's taken. What really caught my eye was the typical Gilliam flair with which the film treats set design.
Gilliam, aside from his stint in the comedy troupe that brought you such jokes as "the ministry of silly walks," is an accomplished stage actor, and you can see his theatre influence in the way these films are shot and the way the camera interacts with set design.
I'm simply enchanted with how each location and shot is so richly textured with depth, and how each movement of the camera reveals more depth and richness to the world the film lives in. In a world where the raw capture of digital Cine cameras somehow flattens everything out I find that this is a virtue of filmmaking that's been lost even in filmmakers who know how to colorgrade past the flatness of the digital image. This is the design methodology that gave us the style for movies like City of Lost Children, Blade Runner, Dark City, and even The Fifth Element. And I miss it so much.
12 Monkeys is not by any means a truly revolutionary film as much as it's a deeply enjoyable one to watch, and I love it for what it is, as well as for how much fun Brad Pitt is in this. Worth the watch if only to see Bruce Willis get shoved into a steampunk contraption.

How to Choose Outfits for Prewedding Shoot?
Once you have finalized photographer and the location for a prewedding shoot, next crucial step is finalizing outfits. Choosing the right outfits for your prewedding shoot is an important aspect that can greatly contribute to the overall look and feel of your photos. Here are some tips to help you select the perfect outfits.
Coordinate with Your Partner: Coordinate your outfits with your partner to ensure a cohesive and complementary look. Consider colors, patterns, and styles that work well together without being too matchy-matchy. Remember, you want to showcase your individual personalities while maintaining a harmonious aesthetic.
Read out our blog on Outfits you can wear for prewedding
Reflect Your Personal Style: Choose outfits that reflect your personal style and make you feel comfortable and confident. Whether you prefer a casual, formal, or themed look, it's essential that your outfits reflect who you are as a couple.
Tumblr media
Consider the Location: Think about the location of your shoot and choose outfits that suit the setting. For example, if you're shooting in a natural landscape, consider wearing softer, earthy tones. If it's an urban setting, you might opt for more modern and stylish attire. If you are planning to shoot at special designed prewedding shoot studio like Cine City Studio, plan your outfits according to the sets and backdrops that the studio has.
Tumblr media
Discuss with your Photographer: Absolutely important factor for a great prewedding shoot is your photographer. Never forget to discuss with them while you plan your outfits. Also, once the outfits are finalized, do send them the pictures so that they can discuss with their team before the shoot. It helps them for planning effectively.
Balance and Layers: Create visual interest and variety in your photos by playing with layers and textures. Consider adding a jacket, scarf, or statement accessory to add depth and dimension to your outfits.
Avoid Distracting Logos or Prints: Avoid wearing outfits with prominent logos or busy prints that may distract from the focus of the photos, which is you as a couple. Simple, timeless designs often work best.
Comfort is Key: Opt for outfits that not only make you look good but also feel comfortable. Pre-wedding shoots can be lengthy, and you want to be able to move freely and enjoy the experience without any discomfort.
Don't Forget the Details: Pay attention to the small details such as footwear, accessories, and grooming. Ensure that your shoes and accessories are well-coordinated with your outfits and that your hair, makeup, and nails are well-groomed.
Tumblr media
Try Before the Shoot: In case you are buying new clothes, or renting out, never forget to try them before the shoot day. This will help your to address sizing issues and avoid any hassles on the shoot day.
Consider Season and Weather: Keep the season and weather in mind when selecting your outfits. Dress accordingly to ensure that you're comfortable and prepared for any weather conditions.
Remember, your prewedding shoot is an opportunity to capture your love and connection as a couple, so be yourself, have fun, and choose outfits that make you feel special and confident. Discuss your outfit ideas with your photographer, as they can provide valuable input based on their experience and the overall aesthetic you envision for your shoot.
Also, in case you plan your shoot at Cine City Studio, do remember to check out their rental wardrobe which includes Traditional, Casual, Western, South Indian, Cowboy and other such outfits which properly matches with the sets they have!

From black and white classics to cutting-edge masterpieces, we embark on a journey through time, exploring the works of visionary filmmakers who have left an indelible mark on the art of storytelling.
As we venture forth, we encounter an array of cinematic geniuses, each with their unique style and narrative flair. One cannot speak of cinematic brilliance without mentioning the legendary Martin Scorsese, whose films have forever redefined American cinema. From "Taxi Driver" to "Goodfellas" and beyond, Scorsese's storytelling prowess is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
We delve deeper into the world of art cinema with Andrei Tarkovsky, the Russian auteur whose films are known for their profound philosophical themes and stunning visual poetry. Prepare to be entranced by the ethereal beauty of "Mirror" and the enigmatic journey of "Stalker."
Stanley Kubrick, a master of his craft, shall forever hold a place of reverence in our cinephilic hearts. His meticulous attention to detail and audacious storytelling gave us cinematic treasures like "2001: A Space Odyssey," "A Clockwork Orange," and "The Shining."
And how can we forget Akira Kurosawa, the Japanese maestro whose samurai epics and humanist tales continue to inspire filmmakers worldwide? "Seven Samurai," "Rashomon," and "Yojimbo" are just a few of the many gems he bestowed upon us.
Our love for cinema is not confined to the West; we also cherish the works of revered directors from different regions. In the Indian landscape, we find ourselves drawn to the films of Mahendran and Bharathiraja, who pioneered a new wave of Tamil cinema with their thought-provoking narratives.
Venturing southward to the lush landscapes of Kerala, we lose ourselves in the profound storytelling of Adoor Gopalakrishnan—a master of subtlety and social commentary in Malayalam cinema.
And of course, no homage to world cinema would be complete without paying respects to the maestro of Bengali cinema, Satyajit Ray. His iconic "Apu Trilogy" remains an unparalleled work of art that continues to resonate with cinephiles across the globe.
As we traverse this cinematic landscape, we'll also explore the groundbreaking works of Eric Rohmer and Godard, whose contributions to the French New Wave have redefined cinema's language.

Critical Reflection - Film Form
Our film for film form was called Night Bus, a film about a teen struggling with his identity who is given some wise words after a Halloween party.
I am extremely proud of this project, so I was very nervous for the crit as I wanted everyone else to see our film and enjoy it just as much as I did. I took on the role of sound recordist and sound designer. I was excited to take on this project and further my skills in these areas. When it came time for us to receive our feedback, I was ready to see what the lecturers thought. We were greeted with a positive nod to our opening scene. We were also met with some criticism on our coverage and shots on Ethan our main character. This is something we definitely could have solved but evidently did not see our issues until the edit. Leo spoke about how he liked our although are story was one that had been told before our version brought some new and fresh to the table. This was something we strived for as a group as we did not want to fall into the category of ‘just another gay film. Lenny our writer did lots of research with young and older queer people and took experiences from their lives and his own. We also collaborated closely with the original writer of the outline, Robbie.
When the floor was passed to Zoe, it was time to hear the sound design criticism. The first noticeable critique was that the sound had exported in mono instead of stereo. We think this may have been from the second export through Davinci as the audio was in stereo after exporting on Protools. After enquiring about that, Zoe told us that the sound design was not as cinematic as she wanted it to be. She said that due to the dialogues nod to Ethan leaving the party early, there should have been far more life in the second scene at the bus stop. She said she wanted to hear noises of people especially trick or treaters as we had set our party on Halloween. She also said that the party scene itself felt like it needed more life, more noises from the people at the party. Although during the sound design process I felt as though the bus stop scene needed to be quieter so that we were focusing on the dialogue, I did understand what Zoe was saying. Due to the script it was unnatural for the scene to be so quiet, even with the dialogue being so important to the scene the background life was almost eradicated through my sound design. I was a tad disappointed that Zoe felt as though the party scene was also lacking as I felt as though I had done a good job. However I am still new at the craft and still have lots to learn so receiving this feedback will absolutely help me in my future projects.
We were congratulated on our production design. I was very happy about this as Nikola put so much work into our sets and the costumes. She and her assistant Evie created the flame costume for our second protagonist ‘The Stranger’. She also spent so long in hair and makeup making sure that all our cast members were perfect for each shot. She styled and created each individual look for our extras in our party scene and of course created the makeup design done on the stranger. Receiving such honest feedback on that was really exciting to hear.
Working with this team was an absolute joy, everyone worked so well together and each of us helped on another and made sure we created a coherent piece of cinema, I am very thankful I had a team I felt so comfortable with and I hope to work with them again on future projects.
Overall, the feedback we received was helpful and insightful. As a team and individuals, I know that we will take on board these critiques and apply them to our next projects. The crits are necessary for our development as filmmakers and although sometimes we may get disappointed with our feedback we know deep down that it was better for us to receive harsh comments so that we do take on the knowledge so we can better our art. I am ready to try again and hopefully create a more in-depth and cinematic sound design in my projects next semester.
