A Princess and Her Three Knights

There is a very juvenile satisfaction I get whenever I manage to summon this formation in my "fire warriors" deck.

I was just testing out a variation of Aichi’s deck I made for my Zexal crossover idea and had a certified main character moment

I feel like I’m moving away from his entire deck being Infernoble Knights because that’s a bit too good😅. So, I thought it might be better to sprinkle them instead. Also this is a Zexal deck and he was synchroing too much with a more pure Infernoble Knight deck. Who knows I might just circle back to pure Noble Knights to nerf him more.

Yugioh Archetypes I think TWST characters would use

Heartslabyul

Savanaclaw | Octavinelle | Scarabia | Pomefiore | Ignihyde | Diasomnia

Riddle Rosehearts: Three Musketeers of Face cards because that's the closest archetype to playing cards and being based off the Queen of Hearts, knight protect royalty.

OR the Rose/Rose Dragon archetype that Akiza sometimes uses in 5D's for obvious reasons.

Ace Trappola: Infernoble Knight. This one was really hard to come up with but I knew Ace had to have a deck with Fire monsters and since he’s based off the card soldiers, I figured fire knights would be a nice fit.

Deuce Spade: Battlin' Boxer mostly because he's ready to throw down at any time.

Trey Clover: Madolche fits into his interest in baking since they're all named after desserts.

Nemleria I think is a better fit though since it includes a bunch of monsters constructed out of candy and desserts and Trey is sweet but I think he could also be really scary when he wants to. Like I would not cross this man.

Cater Diamond: Evil Twin/Live Twin because it is an archetype based on live streamers who are actually phantom thieves in real life.

Mordred, how do you feel knowing about the fact that there's a Yu-Gi-Oh deck entirely based on the legend of your father, and...everything that involved him, including you?

(That's not even a joke, there's literally an entire Yu-Gi-Oh archetype, the Noble Knights, based originally on the Legend of King Arthur...and then another part was added, the Infernoble Knights that's based on Charlemagne and his Twelve Paladins...including one named Astolfo. Yeah, it's pretty weird, but pretty neat.)

"What's Yu-Gi-Oh?"

The only card games he knows about are Poker, Go Fish, and 21. And he's not particularly good at any of them.

If he knew about the game he...wouldn't really care. The legend of the Knights of the Round is one of the most famous in the world so it's unsurprising to see it being used in modern media. Sure he might be irritated with it depending on how the lore is presented by the deck but otherwise he's not gonna care too much. Plus he'd be trying to run a Ninja or Dinosaur deck so it wouldn't matter to him.

RWBY X Yu-Gi-Oh: Part 5 Jaune Arc

Well Jaune this one is simple and easy since there are several deck archetypes that fit his character. The basic Noble Knights or Elemental Heroes could serve as his V 1-3 self but I think the Infernoble Knights fit better since the Infernobles focus on boosting and buffing themselves, and the the equip spells.

Good evening, Duelists! It’s me, Luna, the Duel Reporter and I’ve been busy for the past few days, between life, writing an article on Structure decks I’ll post later this week, and reorganizing my Yu-Gi-Oh collection, so, I’m gonna do a quick report on all the major Yu-Gi-Oh announcements this past week! Now, to keep this brief, I will not go over every single card revealed, but leave a Link where you can see them for yourselves. Make sure you stick around til the end, there’s a fantastic announcement to be made!

First of all is the absolutely amazing announcement of the next set in the Duelist Pack series in the OCG, being Duelists of Explosives!

This is a set dedicated to FIRE attribute decks from the anime, including Soulburner’s famous Salamangreat deck from Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS, but also brand new cards for ZEXAL fans, in new cards for Alit’s Battlin’ Boxers, including a new Chaos Number!

Introducing... Number C79: Battlin’ Boxer Commander Caesar!

Rank 5 FIRE Warrior Xyz Effect Monster ATK 2600 DEF 2000 Materials: 3 Level 5 monsters (1) Gains 200 ATK for each material attached to it. (2) Once per turn, if your opponent would Special Summon a monster(s) (Quick Effect): You can detach 2 materials from this card, and if you do, negate the Summon, and if you do, destroy that monster(s). (3) If this card has “Number 79: Battlin’ Boxer Nova Kaiser” as material, it gains this effect. ● Once per turn, when an attack is declared involving your “Battlin’ Boxer” monster and an opponent’s monster: You can send 1 “Battlin’ Boxer” monster from your hand or Deck to the GY, and if you do, attach that opponent’s monster to this card as material.

Can I just say that I love this card? Cards taking other cards on the field and making them into Xyz Material has been one of my favorite mechanics since Number 101: Silent Honor ARK got released in Legacy of the Valiant. And on top of that, it has a summon negation, sets up your GY, and gets stronger for each Xyz Material it has? This monster packs a punch!

As for my thoughts on the other new Battlin’ Boxer cards, they definitely work really well with FIRE Warrior decks like Infernoble Knights. As weird as it is to see boxers and knights work together, I could definitely see Rocky go to the Renaissance Fair here.

Fantastic (or terrible) news for Master Duel players, Tearlaments arrive today! For those who don’t know about Tearlaments, they’re a primarily DARK and WATER Fusion deck that uses the Graveyard as a toolbox for their combos. They’re incredibly fun and work very well with other GY based archetypes like Shaddoll or Danger!

They’re also mermaids (and a manwhore) from Primeval Planet Perlereino, their Field Spell. This deck absolutely dominated both the TCG and OCG back when they were released in Power of the Elements along with one of my favorite decks, Spright. Let’s see how they do in Master Duel!

Finally is the most exciting announcement for the TCG. Announcing OTS Pack 22! Branded fans rejoice as Branded Fusion and other pieces of the Branded Despia deck will receive Ultimate Rare slots in this pack!  You can obtain OTS packs by visiting your Local Game Store and participating in a tournament!

I know I’m definitely hyped for the Ultimate Rare Branded Fusion. It’s already got a spot reserved in my collection reserved.

My many CFV X Yugioh ideas

Duel Monsters

One of them is the one I’ve been talking about recently. Basically it has the Vanguard characters being a part of the Yugioh universe. There’s no Vanguard they all play Duel Monsters because the whole Yugioh universe revolves around it. I’m going to talk about it more as I post about it. It would eventually go on till Zexal.

The other one is actually a protagonist swap. Basically with Aichi as the protagonist of Duel Monsters and Yugi and Atem as the protagonists of Vanguard. It would go all the way into 5Ds because Aichi doesn’t just vanish like Yugi😅. Though he’s not as involved in GX and 5Ds. I thought it would be cool for Emi to attend Duel Academy for the GX portion.

5Ds

It’s kinda based on Reverse of Arcadia Aka Yugioh WC2010. Basically Aichi is kinda in the role of the protagonist of that game without absolutely cucking the other 5Ds characters. For those who don’t know your protagonist has basically been captured and brainwashed by the Arcadia movement later escaping. While Aichi is missing his friends are looking for him and participating in the main plot of 5Ds. Aichi would be taken because I imagine in Yugioh, Psyqualia would be some strain of the psychic powers. Also he gets his deck back after finding it locked away in the Arcadia Building because Yusei having it like the game makes absolutely no sense. Also I thought it would be funny if Aichi had a card that would be mistaken for a signer dragon😂.

It’s because of this funny moment in the game where the other characters think your the last signer. To make them not look like complete idiots I decided to give Aichi this. He will be using Infernoble Knights in this since they are more synchro focused. Honestly in my other story I could give this to Yuyu😂.

Other things on the agenda of this story:

-making Rua (Leo) become a signer when he was supposed to

-Ruka (Luna) actually being relevant to the plot

-No side lining Akiza or Carly

-screw Crow he keeps his original planned role

-also Sayer actually gets to come back

-rewriting the second half of 5Ds except Crash Town it stays

-maybe Yugo and Rin? Their inclusion isn’t for a particular reason I just like them and would like to include them. I think a very interesting way to introduce them could be through them being antagonists in the second half or earlier 👀. This would be like an reverse Arc-V legacy character situation. Basically it wouldn’t be the same character from Arc-V but they’d be really similar. I have had an idea of a story like that for awhile. I could roll that in so I have an excuse to include Yugo my favorite Yugioh character🤣.

Zexal

I actually have two ideas for Zexal one is similar to the Duel Monsters one I’ve been talking about. Except it has the characters exist in Zexal. Aichi ends of moving to Heartland when his Dad gets a job there allowing him to not have to work across the planet in America. It’s a bit awkward for Aichi since he doesn’t actually know his dad well and he is still hoping out hope of meeting Kai again. Though, he tries to make the most of it its a fresh start after all. He ends up meeting Yuma after he sees him looking at his Blaster Blade equivalent and hyperactively challenges him to a duel. Then he’s adopted into Yuma’s friend group. The other Vanguard characters appear later in the story at the beginning it’s just Aichi and his family.

The other is an isekai taking place near the end of the Asia Circuit and in late season 1 of Zexal. Basically the void and Don Thousand end up colluding together. Aichi, Kamui, Misaki, Kai, Ren, and Chris are forced into the Zexal world with numbers. Aichi and Kai are like the only ones who aren’t possessed at the beginning. Aichi is trying to free everyone and go back home to save Blaster Blade with the help of Yuma and co. Since Noble Knights act as the Royal Paladins naturally the Infernoble Knights act as the Gold Paladins.

Poor Aichi be like “I just want to save Blaster Blade”. Now, he has to deal with all of this nonsense 😂. Aichi also has to avoid falling under the control of his own number card especially since their amped by Don Thousand and the Void.

Arc-V

It’s the villain swap one I’ve talked about. Actually it’s the first one I ever talked about. It swaps the void and Zarc. You can look under my Arc V tag to find my old posts about it.
