DRA fancasting

I was heavily inspired by @creepercraftguy's headcanons on voices for the Danganronpa Another cast so I caved and did my own as well. I have decided to use VAs that weren't in any of the official Danganronpa games and anime while also considering the other roles the voice actors are known for as well as their overall energy.

Imagine not stanning this man. I am not done with FMA 2003 and would not like spoilers, but I love it so far and love even more the Ishvalian screen time. I like his interactions with Al, the plot handling the Ishval thing much more thoughtfully. I like that when in lab 5, despite having every reason not to, he decide to give Ed a chance, wait and see what he’s gonna do, and you can see that faith pay off. I like his interactions with other Ishvalians, I like how much he’s confused about the whole thing, about the markings in his arm, and wtf his brother was up to.

Clone Sakura (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle)

QUEEN. UTTER QUEEN. I can’t believe that with a premise as misogynistic as “Soul get divided into parts so the heroine is weak and barely conscious most of the time and the Hero go on an adventure to collect them and save her” and missing most of her damn Self and with a Big Bad so actively messing with the protagonists’ agency she managed to rock the show so hard. She’s very kind, sincere, courageous, ressourceful, thoughtful, perceptive and love her found family very much. She’s also extremely ruthless when she wants to be and is shockingly one hell of a liar and played us the audience and in-universe characters like fiddles, honestly wouldn’t want to be in her way when she’s determined to do something, she’s also a hilarous drunk and all her screen-time is very enjoyable.

Gokudera Hayato (Katekyo Hitman Reborn)

Utter nerd. His passion for UMAs, details like the fact that he created his own script. He’s very dedicated to his duties, he’s very methodical in what he does (even teaching to swim lmao). He has trust issues the size of the titanic, he was insecure, has low self-esteem and little preservation instincts, and he had phenomenal character development and I am extremely proud of him.

Takigawa Yoshino (Zetsuen no Tempest)

A very adaptable boy. I could list all the traits that makes him great, but the reason he��s my fave is because he’s an utter mess, he fully belongs to the “-crush feelings with bare hands- as I was saying” category, it’s hard to describe exactly what makes him so compelling but there’s honestly too many to list. I love a lot of things about him, I like that he’s very in love with Aika, I love how good he’s at deceit and manipulation and hiding his feelings, I like that he’s a very supportive friends, I like that he said in the middle of apocalypse after everyone turned into stone and a creepy gigantic fruit with eyes and chains emerged that he wouldn’t get a drink from the distributor without paying. I like that in the middle of their things he decided to switch side and attack Mahiro for the ownership of that magic gun just before Mahiro could seemingly attain his goal and Mahiro treat it like a temper tanthrum which says a lot of things about how he is off-screen.

Ogata Hyakunosuke (Golden Kamuy)

The blorbo to end all blorbos, canonical catboy, chronic backstabbing syndrome, like to cause problems, I should have put him in the top 10 and it is a crime that I didn’t do that but at this point it’s very clear this top 30 is not in the right order.

Tulip Olsen (Infinity Train)

I love pretty much every Infinity Train protagonist except, like, Simon, but Tulip hold a special place in my heart. I loved her development, I am utterly obsessed with the Mirror World bit, I love how she makes dubious hypothesis about what makes a number go down and keep a notebook about it, I love how at the end, despite her gate being available, she turns her back on it because she needs to help Atticus. She’s a character whose journey I definitely enjoyed

Senshi (Dungeon Meshi)

I deeply admire how devoted to his craft he is and his desire to try out monsters and methods of cooking. I like that he has a screw loose and that I worry for his self-preservation instincts but he’s canonically in the “we have food at home” part of the Mcdonalds! Pull out and order black coffee and leave - We have food at home spectrum. But honestly it looks like Laios will dethrone him as far as my fave goes

Kez (Infinity Train)

I love how most of her screentime can be summed up as :

also loved her interactions (off-screen) with Jeremy and (on-screen) Min-gi and Ryan. I love how most of her dialogue sounds like she’s utterly stoned, I love how she asks the creepy one-true-truth eyes who wants to kill her if she can eat gum and what flavor she should take, very entertaining character.

Teruhashi Kokomi (Saiki Kusuo no Sai nan)

Queen, perfection, utterly full of herself (and also everything she’s proud of is basically true lmao), she’s right when she says she might as well be the center of the universe and that nobody stands a chance against her and that her mere presence brightens everyone’s day but I didn’t expect her narration to state it so straightforwardly shamelessly, I love how she tries so hard at being liked and all the various efforts she put in, I just, love her

After playing all 3 mainline Xenoblades in like 3 months here's the shit what which I think gonna show up in future games like FF with Crystals, Moogles, Cid and Nihilism.

Spoilers + Big Rambles ahead

World/Setting stuff

Everyone lives on Big Creature - Xb3 cheats a little because it's on a mishmash of xb1/2, they did do good with getting Aionios fitting with with the localisation names of Bionis and Mechonis.

Cosmic Red Sword - Monado, Aegis Sword, Lucky Seven. I feel like they're already playing with this a bit since the Monado is the OG Big Red, The "Real" Aegis sword is Mythra's White one or Pneuma's big green and the red sword is the sheath to The Lucky Seven

Dying world - Bionis is about to eat everyone, titans are dying out, Aionios is supposed to be in the Endless Now but souls are being put out the cycle from homecomings and the world is being deleted by Annihilation effects.

Demiurge/Creator who isn't The Creator - Zanza, The Architect, Z

Protector vs Destroyer - Meyneth v Zanza, Mythra v Malos, Moebius v Oroboros. Interestingly Oroboros, who want to destroy the world, are the good guys.

Separate Dimension that's still linked to the others - Not sure if they keep this one up, where do you go after Split and Merge, World within a world like the Matrix?

God AI - Alvis, Trinity Processor, Z

Mecha's that you will never get to pilot - At least we get Interlinking in 3

Noppon are there - Humans/Homs being everywhere makes sense since they started in the world before being split and High Entia/Machina/Gormotti/Indoline are results of their own worlds development but Noppon are just there, I guess they are the end result of evolution.

Story/Plot stuff

Asshole->Sympathetic->God-like Asshole Villain Progression - Metalface -> Egil-> Zanza, Malos->Jin->Malos Fullpower (Amalphus?), D->N->Z. This one is bucked a little because of 2's double up on Malos and Amalphus doesn't really fit cleanly unless we want to combine him with Malos since his misanthropy drives him.

SWORD VALLEY BAYBEE (Or Galahad Fortress i guess)- A bit over half way through the plot where you go into enemy territory, beat up Asshole Villain who falls down pretty far, confrontation with Sympathetic Villain and afterwards our knowledge of the setting expands. Sword Valley in 1, learn about the real deal with Zanza and the Machina. Cliffs of Morytha in 2, learn about the old world and Torna. Keves Castle in 2, learn about The City.

Mechonis Core - A couple hours after Sword Valley where we get The BIG TWISTS, beat up sympathetic villain and introduction of God-Like Asshole and long cutscenes. Mechnois Core in 1, Space Elevator in 2, Agnus Castle in 3. This one is kinda iffy because 2 ends right after instead of having a final dungeon afterwards.

Prison Island? - This one is the biggest reach but early point where you upgrade your capability, someone dies and you get your first big hit to the enemy. Prison Island you get Super Monado, Cut up Metal Face and Melia's dad dies. The end of Uraya you unlock Mythra, blow up the Torna Blades and Vandham dies. Colony 4 where everyone gets to interlink, get Infinity Blade , kill a consul but Ethel doesn't die until later. Yeah this one is probably not an actual thing.

(Female) Character "dies" and returns as a cyborg/Gundam Gijinka - Fiora as a Face Driver, Pyra/Mythra to Pneuma, Mio to a Mobius Body.

Every Ending is progressively sadder - 1 ends with everyone together, living life to the fullest and Fiora even gets a Homs body again. 2 is pretty much the same except maybe Pyra/Myrtha have their memories gone because they were just awakened. 3 has everyone split apart and everything that happened on Aoinios a distant dream, unless... By 5 your Nintendo Cybergamer is gonna manifest a gun to shoot you in the face.

Gameplay Stuff

Arts - Autoattack Cancels, Positional, Specials/Talent Arts

Affinity/Dev Level - 3 kinda combined these, also related is giving people shit to raise affinity.

Named Monsters

Protag getting busted superpower so you kinda want to have them on lead - Monado Arts are just too good, Rex has Pneuma and global blades. 3 has dynamic switching so that helps but Unlimited Blade and Infinity Sword are too good not to control.

Chain Attack - They're all pretty different but 3 is my fav, getting a 6 round chain attack has me feeling like a 40-tphead.

Break -> Topple - 2's best contribution to the series is Launch -> Smash, that shit feels good.

Heart-to-Hearts - 3's Discussions are pretty much the same thing, but unless I missed it I'm a lil sad that there wasn't a "Before the Storm" or "Before the Final Battle" one to do before the final boss.

Misc Stuff

Shulk Voice line - This one's probably not coming back, maybe.

Monados - This one is cheating with the REX showing up at the end of 3, but this is just an excuse for me to say how sad I am that we didn't get someone shouting shit like MONADOOOO EATER, MONADOOO CYCLONE in 3. Monados seem like a trinity processor thing, so I doubt they're coming back as more than a cameo.

Melia Suffering - Zanza is happening at the same time as 2 so that's my excuse to talk about it. Man, not winning the Shulk Ball in 1 and in 3 all her friends are long dead exept maybe her kinda-sister, while Nia has got a good shot of most of her friends being alive, Zeke is a blade eater and they can live for 100's of years, Dromach is her blade so he can live as long as her, Pyra/Mythra may outlive their driver even without the conduit around, Rex, Morag and Tora could've become blade eaters at some point as well seeing as everyone in Agnus are blade/human hybrids at this point. Poor Melia.

BEST INFINITY BLADE SWORD PATCH

BEST INFINITY BLADE SWORD PLUS

The White Sword can be obtained before entering any dungeons, while the Magical Sword requires clearing at least half of the game. The first game has the White Sword, which is more powerful than the Wooden Sword obtained at the start of the game but less powerful than the Magical Sword.However, the Fire Sword is still preferable in most situations, as the Soul Reaver drains the players magic, and prevents them from casting any spells.

BEST INFINITY BLADE SWORD PATCH

However, it's not a patch on the game's Infinity +1 Sword, the Soul Reaver (which would later obtain Sword of Plot Advancement status in the sequels), which can one-hit kill bosses. It does high damage, being a Flaming Sword.

The Fire Sword in Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen.

There is also the Balmung if it isn't Hard Mode which only slightly less powerful than the Claimh Solais and is of the Darkness type meaning its effective against that one boss mentioned above.

The Claimh Solais is hardly more useful than Soma's bare fists against him.

Not to mention Death's Scythe is one of two weapons that annihilates That One Boss, Julius Belmont, who is neutral to dark and tremendously resistant to holy.

The Claimh Solais is Holy element, which nearly every enemy is weak to, has a faster swing, and has a more forgiving hitbox even if it doesn't reach quite as far. It has more raw attack power than the bonus sword "Claimh Solais" and has the greatest reach in the game, but it's Dark element, which a lot of enemies are resistant to, and its great reach is offset by being slow and unable to hit things at point-blank.

In Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, there is an enormously powerful weapon called Death's Scythe that can only be found about halfway through the game and only if one is playing Hard Mode.

Abusing a small glitch to double jump early (which normally comes just after Nation of Fools) can get you the Nebula (a homing whip), the most powerful whip that is obtained before Vampire Killer note For some reason various other whips better than it but worse than Vampire Killer can be obtained after you get Vampire Killer, a powerful weapon that will last until endgame unless you abuse a Good Bad Bug to buy the Holy Claymore early.

BEST INFINITY BLADE SWORD PLUS

Later on, the Vampire Killer itself takes on this role - it's not one of the game's several Infinity Plus One Swords and you don't have to go out of your way to get it (just beat That One Boss), but many players stick with it for its ease of use and handy elemental attributes. Its high power and speed will get you through a large part of the game. In Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, you're almost sure to pick up a Long Spear on your first visit to the Nation of Fools (high Random Drop rate).

Explore the maps in the Content/DA_InfinityBlade_Fire/Maps folder.

Copy the Content/DA_InfinityBlade_Fire folder into your game’s Content folder.

Add the Infinity Blade Effects pack in your game project.

Add the Infinity Blade Fire Lands pack in your game project.

Create a new project (e.g Third Person).

The config structure contains various parameters that can be tweaked to get different results.

This will create a procedural dungeon in your scene using a sample theme you just extracted

In the details panel, you will find 3 buttons in the Dungeon category.

From the world outliner, click the Dungeon1 Actor.

Open the sample map by navigating to Content > DA_StarterPack > Maps > DugeonDesignTime.

Copy the extracted Content/DA_StarterPack folder into your game’s Content folder.
