infinity war au prompt: [Cruel Mercy]
Thanos wins by being merciful; Peter Parker does not die. "I have enough mercy left for children."
Peter keeps the suit on when they leave Titan to conserve oxygen in the ship. Stark's suit doesn't have enough nanites to do the same.
When Rodgers comes to ask Stark to invent time travel he refuses. He does not tell Peter about it. “Risking everything got me into a lot of shitty situations. No more.”

Okay, I need to vent about the new Thor: Love and Thunder trailer/movie.
Do any other Loki fans…just want to cry when you see the trailer?
I just…I don’t know how to prepare my heart for a Thor movie without Loki in it.
Don’t get me wrong, it looks like a fantastic movie. I’m sure it’ll be really good. But…thinking of a Thor movie without Loki in it just brings tears to my eyes.
As a Loki fan I was very excited for the Loki show. I was beyond mad when they killed him in an out-of-character way for pure shock value, and was—while apprehensive—excited that he’d come back, and marvel would redeem themselves. And I was especially excited because I was sure this would mean he could indeed be in the next Thor movie after all.
But then…they didn’t redeem themselves.
By the end, I kind of hated the Loki show. I get that it was well-made, but they completely didn’t understand Loki’s character, and then they treated him like every other version of him was better than the one we love, instead of understanding why we love him in the first place. And while I wouldn’t say they ruined his character, because I still have the other Thor movies to return to…they certainly did something to his character in the show that I deeply disliked.
One of the many things I disliked about the Loki show was…it felt wrong for Thor (or any Asgardians) not to be in it. The Thor movies have never been about just Thor, and there’s a reason there hasn’t been a just-Loki movie before. Their stories, their journeys, are integrally intertwined. It didn’t feel right for Loki to have a journey, especially a redemption arc, Thor wasn’t a part of.
And it doesn’t feel right for Thor to have a movie without Loki in it.
And I just know they’re not going to address it. They’re not going to have Thor missing, or grieving, or simply remembering Loki. At most they’re going to mention him as the butt of the joke, putting him down.
I want to go see the movie but, I’m afraid I won’t be able to enjoy it because I’ll just be thinking about how Loki isn’t in it the whole time, and I’ll just feel sad and resentful.
Everything they’ve done to this amazing character…it just hurts so much, and makes me so mad.
I want to do something to get over it. Like, I’d love to write a fic “fixing” the Loki show but…it’s so broken I don’t even know where to start. What to change. And even if I did… I doubt I’d manage to finish. And I definitely wouldn’t finish before the movie.
Any other Loki fans in the same boat?

What’s special about guardians of the galaxy as well is I think it manages to walk the fine line of having death be present and something that could very much happen to our main characters but also choosing to keep them all alive at the end of the trilogy. Not only is it nice to see finished arcs but I’ve never once felt as if the stakes were not high in these films and could not result in a main character death. James Gunn does a good job at showing he isn’t afraid to go there with what happened with Yondu at the end of gotg 2 (and providing a very meaningful death to him beneficial to his arc) and to an extension even shows this with rockets friends (lyla teeths floor) in the third film. I 100% felt as if multiple guardians would die I’m this film and whilst it did come close everyone made it out okay! This is a change from what we see in previous media where the line has pushed to one side too much where it can get annoyingly repetitive and boring because there is no tension or, death can happen too frequently that it’s a joke.

I don’t think anyone will ever understand how much I love Eva, so let me lay it out real quick.
Tumblr media
She is perfect.
She is baby girl.
She can do no wrong ever in her life.
I would hang the stars for her.
I would burn down and level Tantiss for her.
I would fistfight Royce for her and win.
She’s a precious baby and deserves the galaxy and more. 💕

*while trying to film the scene when Omega got caught by Hemlock and Emerie after letting Batcher free* Hemlock: Even our strongest lurca hounds struggle against what's beyond these walls. And your *saying lines a bit louder because of the hounds* domestication of LH-201 only made her vulnerable. *the lucra hounds roaring loudly in the background* Omega: *trying to be louder too* You don't know she won't survive. She deserves a chance. *the roars get louder again in the background* Hemlock: Oh, the flawed- *louder roars* *all three end up losing it and laughing, the camera getting cut for the fourth time*
