An image captured by the Hubble Space Telescope shows a trio of interacting galaxies. Cataloged as SDSSCGB 10189, the trio is a rare case of three massive, star-forming galaxies less than 50,000 light-years apart. At a galactic level, that's a very short distance, and that's why their shape is already distorting.
Galaxy mergers are an important topic of astronomical research and in this case, SDSSCGB 10189 is also an object of study for research on the origins of the so-called Brightest Cluster Galaxies (BCGs), the brightest within their clusters and also the most massive.

This is a pair of interacting galaxies, known as the Antennae Galaxies, believed to be at a distance of about 45 million light-years. They both appear to be of similar size and they are in the process of…

NASA's Hubble Captures a Pair of Interacting Galaxies Forming the Number '10' in Space
NASA’s Hubble Captures a Pair of Interacting Galaxies Forming the Number ’10’ in Space
In its more than 30 years of service, NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has made over 1.3 million observations of intriguing cosmic events and bodies. It once captured a pair of gravitationally interacting galaxies called Arp 147, using its prime working camera – the Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2). The “Hubble Classic” image has been again shared on Instagram. The image shows the two galaxies…

"Do you miss it? The Order?" "I miss... the idea of it. But not the truth, the weakness. There was no future there." OKAY, THIS MAN MISSES THE ORDER SOOOOOOOOOOO BAD IT MAKES HIM LOOK STUPID
I'm serious. He's carrying the husk of his long-ossified grief so obviously. It is evident in everything he does and says that he was a young knight absolutely ripped to shreds by Order 66 and its lonely, dark aftermath. He allowed despair to be his comfort, convincing himself there's nothing to mourn because it's easier than dealing with the loss.

An image captured by the Hubble Space Telescope shows LEDA 60847, a group of interacting galaxies. The largest galaxy has an active galactic nucleus (AGN) with a supermassive black hole surrounded by materials that are heated to the point of generating the electromagnetic emissions behind its luminosity. This galaxy is interacting with its neighbors and in a very long time, they will form a single larger galaxy.
