Thane propaganda:
“He was my first ever Mass Effect romance and it made me BAWL. Like I had to physically wake my brother up and cry about it because I was so distraught. Thane's romance is great but also fuck you bioware”
Inuyasha propaganda:
“It's Inuyasha. That's all the propaganda I need”

Playing as the female protagonist probably means you can try flirting with Miroku and I refuse to witness that.

“You’ve fallen for quite the powerful specter, haven’t you? I could’ve given you a moment of true bliss, you know. Had you just continued to play along, you finally would have been embraced by this handsome demon… before ending up in my belly. Such a shame. No matter. The only choice you have left is to surrender and let me devour you!"

The game was real fun, until they started leaning towards the love triangle route and hoo boy i hate that kinda conflict with every fiber of my being-
I accidentally got the inuyasha route and then mc started getting jealous of inukag which uGGHHH i rlly wanted to skip the voiced dialogues
Then i got to this part where some demon imitates inuyasha to fake confess that he likes you.... but if you try to mention kagome he says this
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lets just say i got real mad djvjjdjcjf
In the game kagome comes in to save you at the end but honestly if i were MC this is what she wouldve stumbled upon

There’s a bleach dating sim ?
No one wishes there was one more than me, but no lmao.
There was a post about a project dubbed BleachAPRIL yesterday that linked back to a little preview video on the Bleach site, using the delinquent high school art Kubo made for JET and making a game with it. I think people calling it a dating sim weren't thinking it was like a true otome or anything but more a simping game (ala Hypnosis Mic and other games that revolve around attractive anime guys but don't involve actual dating).
The game itself was an April Fool's jokes, which is very fun and I hope they do AU jokes every year. I will gladly be an April Fool for a fake Bleach game any year, every year.
But also kind sad it won't exist!!! Bleach games that dare to be more than rehashes of the main plot are rare! Really the only one I remember is The 3rd Phantom (which brought all the drama a teenager could ask for, really).

Realized I never shared any of my Inuyasha Secret of the Cursed Mask pixel art here so... here it is!
The first 4 are made with Sailor Moon Another Story(SMAS) sprites, as I am most familiar with them.
The backgrounds are from SMAS with LOTS of edits, Inuyasha and the Divine Jewel, and Chrono Trigger. The last sprites were made from the Inuyasha and the Divine Jewel, since it has enough sprites for me to figure out how to make them work.
As to why they are together, I have this silly scenario that they are actually twins, and fall into the past together. If I ever have the motivation for it, I might make it into some drabbles or at least make some more pixel art.

Mirror Image [Chapter One] Hands of Time [Sesshomaru]
Tumblr media
A/n: Updates on this story will probably be extremely slow. I apologize for that. And tags will be added as the story progresses.
Aspects of this story came from 'The Secret of the Cursed Mask'. It was one of my favorite InuYasha games. Please enjoy.
Warning(s): Japanese mythology and folklore, reincarnation, deities, demons, curses, self-worth, supernatural elements, isekai.
No Minors Allowed!!
Spring in Kyoto was nigh, yet the early February air was dry and chilly. Aono disliked this type of weather. Or rather her skin did. It was the reason she carried lip balm and moisturizer in her tote bag, along with her textbooks. Despite the temperature, and her desire to hide in her room until March, she had much to do.
As a private tutor, her schedule was booked. Midterms were in 3 months and some of her students were eager to start reviewing the material. Aono honestly did not mind. She had 2 months until she enrolled in the university and the extra Yen she was earning would help her considerably.
So far, her temporary job was going rather well. She had two clients scheduled for today, and both completed their lessons early. Aono was currently on her way home. She wanted to rest before dark when Setsubun began, a bean-throwing festival meant to drive away evil spirits. This event meant a lot to her grandparents and so she did her best to assist them.
Aono tightened her green wool coat around herself as a bitter wind tossed her long hair, opting to make a stop for a cup of green tea. Entering Amano Coffee, she recognized her friend behind the cashier's desk and waved to her. Yua waved back heartily and smiled.
"To what do I owe the pleasure?" She asked.
Aono smiled back and approached the counter.
"I came for a cup of warm green tea."
Yua faked a pout.
"I thought this was merely a social visit. I see how it is."
"You can work and talk at the same time," Aono retorted.
She was right. Yua snorted and prepared the tea maker.
"Are you excited for the festival?"
Aono sighed. She was in a sense, but she was far too busy to attend.
"I can't go, unfortunately," she answered. "Jiichan (grandpa) was asked to bless Kyōzō Shrine and he wants me to assist him."
"He's really pushing the shrine maiden thing, isn't he?" Yua asked, giving her a sympathetic look before she returned to the task at hand.
He was.
"Okaachan (mom) was a Miko before she married my father. He wants me to follow in her footsteps," Aono remarked.
Eimi became a shrine maiden when she was nineteen, but Aono did not want to work at a shrine. She wanted to make something of herself, but honestly, she had no idea what she wanted to do.
I still have time to decide before the spring semester starts.
"It's your move. If you want to be a Miko, that's fine, but if you don't, you should speak up," Yua stated.
She snapped a lid on top of the paperboard cup and sat it on the counter.
"Besides, even if you become a Miko, I'll still be your best friend. But don't ask me to come visit you at one of those old creepy shrines."
Aono snorted.
"Of course."
Yua really was a great friend.
Reaching into her short black hair, she unfastened a heart-shaped pin from her bangs and offered it to Aono; the latter raised a curious brow.
"Your hair's a mess. You look like a Ushirogami," Yua teased.
Aono took the pin from her and stuck out her tongue. The wind outside was bitter and feral. It wasn't her fault her hair was in her face. But she was no less thankful to Yua.
Around dusk, as Setsubun began, Aono dressed in a sweater, jeans, and her wool coat. She clipped her hair back on one side with the pin Yua gave her, then grabbed her tote bag and walked downstairs. Her grandparents waited for her in the kitchen.
Kurisu Kamiyama eyed her through her oval-shaped glasses for a moment, then returned to adjusting the white linen jōe her husband wore.
"Are you ready to visit the shrine?” She asked Aono.
"I suppose,” the latter retorted.
Kurisu narrowed her eyes and glanced at her husband, who sighed.
"I know this is not something you like, Aono, but Eimi and Isao wanted this for you,” Seiji stated. "We are just following your parents' wishes.”
If only I were old enough to remember them.
Both died in a car crash when Aono was a baby. She had nothing but pictures to remember them by; parents she did not even know.
Even so, she doubted that they would force their wishes upon her. This was what her grandparents wanted for her.
"I understand,” Aono uttered. "It's just…taking some time for me to come to terms with.”
It meant working at a shrine and undergoing a comprehensive training program that she was not sure she was ready for. Aono could not express her worries to her grandparents; they were unreasonable.
Seiji guffawed.
"Eimi was scared too at first, but I took her to Kyōzō Shrine when she was your age, and after talking to the Kannushi, she wanted to be a Miko. All things worked out fine.”
Aono wasn't so sure.
When her grandfather was dressed, he put on his peaked cap and gathered his haraegushi, a ceremonial wand with paper streamers, and then led her from the house outside. The strong sweet odor of roasted sardines and holly sprigs flooded the air as Aono passed the gate, a sign that her grandmother had decorated it with them to scare away Oni.
She walked silently with her grandfather up the hillside beside their home to the top where an old curve-roofed shrine sat. Two vermilion Torii gates stood before them, beckoning for them to enter, and on either side stood three smaller buildings. Two were houses for the shrine maidens and the Kannushi, and the other was a store room.
In the eighteen years that she lived with her grandparents, she had only been to the shrine twice. She knew the Kannushi, Mr. Kenshiro because her grandfather and he were close friends, but she never knew much about the shrine.
"Jiichan. What sort of shrine is this?” Aono asked.
"It was built during the Nanbokucho era, dedicated to a deity who was said to protect her followers from evil spirits and demons. However, it was revealed that the source of the demons came from her. The shrine was later abandoned during the early Sengoku era and the deity was long forgotten,” Seiji explained.
Aono widened her eyes.
"She was a demon?”
"Some believe that, but the people who worshiped her believed that she was born from a God, which made her a deity. So long as the village prayed to her, she did not harm them,” Seiji answered. "It is the reason our family continues to bless this shrine. Some fear that if the blessings stop the Goddess of Protection will return and bring with her misfortune.”
How frightening.
Aono understood how important this was to her grandparents. The hillside in which they lived has been in their family for generations. Perhaps even her ancestors were worshippers of the deity.
At the purification fountain near the shrine’s entrance, Seiji took one of the ladles provided and rinsed his hands.

"I want you to remain outside as I go into the inner shrine. Once I am done, I will take you to see Kenshiro,” Seiji ordered.
Aono nodded in understanding.
Her grandfather then rinsed his mouth and spit the water beside the fountain. Once he was done, he led Aono up the stairs to the entrance.
"Behave,” he ordered, before he walked into the shrine.
She nearly snorted. What sort of trouble could she even get into? Aono took an uneasy breath and turned her back to the entrance. Her breath came out in puffs as she breathed, ignoring the chilly bite of the night air. It was odd, but the shrine almost felt abandoned.
Where were Mr. Kenshiro and the shrine maidens?
Aono shivered in fear. The story her grandfather told her was messing with her head a bit.
Walking away from the shrine, she noticed a weathered statue of a woman at the base of the stairs. Her face was gone, faded by the elements, but she was dressed like a deity.
Aono bent down to examine it a bit more, but a noise caught her attention. She looked up to see a dark-haired woman dressed in a green kimono standing near the storehouse. She held a paper lantern in her hand that emanated a soft glow. Fear took hold of Aono, but she quickly overcame it, telling herself that the woman was most likely one of the shrine maidens.
"You scared me,” she mentioned.
"I am sorry,” the woman stated. "I was just retrieving something from the storeroom. Would you mind helping me?”
Aono was hesitant. She felt a bit suspicious of the woman, but she pushed aside her worries and nodded. What harm could come from it?

"You know, I was beginning to think no one was here.”
The woman laughed.
"We are always here.”
"Sure,” Aono uttered.
She was a bit weirded out by her.
The woman opened the storeroom door and walked inside. The only source of light came from her lantern, so Aono had to hurry to catch up with her before she was left alone in the dark.
Selves of items sat against the walls as they wandered further into the room. At the back wall, on a table, the woman turned and pointed with a slim finger to something. It appeared to be a small box with an amulet attached to it.
"That is it. Can you pick it up for me?”
Aono raised a curious brow.
"Am I allowed? I mean…it seems sacred. I don't think I should–”
"Pick it up,” the woman ordered.
What was up with her?
Aono narrowed her eyes and grabbed the box off the table but as soon as she did, a burning sensation engulfed her face, and she dropped it onto the floor. Crying out in pain, she placed her hands against her heated skin, but no sooner had it started, than it stopped.
What just happened?
Aono peeked out from between her fingers and to her horror, the amulet tied around the box had come done. The woman grinned eerily and leaned down to pick it up, taking off the top. Inside was the distal phalanx of a finger bone. There was something seriously off about this situation.
Taking a step back, the teen gasped as the dark-haired woman reached out and grabbed her by the arm. Even though she was wearing a long-sleeved sweater and a wool coat, she could feel an icy chill creep up her skin.
"Let me go,” Aono ordered sternly, attempting to pull her arm back.
She did not think the woman would do it.
With her arm free, Aono stumbled back. She caught her balance and sneered at the woman. But to her horror, the lantern she was holding began to shake. A cut formed in the middle, running horizontally, and when it parted, a long and grotesque tongue protruded from it. Then a single bloodshot eye opened above the mouth, turning to her.
Aono gasped. She turned to run, but the tongue shot out and wrapped around her leg, knocking her off balance and to the floor. Turning onto her back, she leaned up on her elbows and watched the woman turn and dislocate the bones in her arms with a sickening crack, turning them around her back like a contortionist.
She sank to the floor and crawled up Aono’s body, pushing her back onto the floor. The hair around her head began to rise, revealing an open mouth that contained sharp needle-like teeth on the back of her head.
Aono attempted to push the woman off her, but the hair took hold of her arms and shoved them onto the floor on either side of her head. A thick lock coiled around her neck like a snake and tightened, making Aono gasp for air.
This thing was going to choke her to death.
Struggling, Aono watched through teary eyes as the woman removed the distal phalanx from the box and lifted it to her mouth.
"Swallow it,” the woman ordered.
Was she insane?
Aono tightened her jaw in protest. But the mouth on the back of the woman’s head opened up and screeched obscenely, making Aono cry out in tremendous pain. The two-mouthed woman took the chance to slither locks into her mouth and shove the finger bone down her throat.
Choking on the foreign object, Aono felt the woman release her and back away. She wasted no time and sat, trying to remove the finger from her mouth, but it was far too late. An intense pain overtook her, and she collapsed to the floor, writhing. It felt like every nerve in her body was on fire.
Something was not right.
"Jii…chan,” she managed to cry.
It was too much. Darkness took hold of her and she fell unconscious as the hands of time turned in reverse.

Limerence: The Masterpost ☆
I couldn't miss the opportunity for another canon-flavoured masterpost, so here I go again with Limerence. This collection is a prequel to Homecoming, so if you're not ready to say goodbye, by all means, carry on! The structure remains: above the cut lies links, and below lurks a prompt breakdown where I attempt to justify everything that just happened. Onward!
Tumblr: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Read it on AO3 ▶ Previous Masterposts: Homecoming〡Evermore
This is your rest stop. Beyond the Keep Reading banner are many words and manga caps for those with a vested interest in Inuyasha headcanons/meta/anecdotes. Snacks applicable!
Tumblr media
The Personal Bit ☆
ALRIGHT, masks off besties. Are they your OTP? Cause they’re my OTP too, and we should consider bursting into flames about it together (ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥
I didn't think I’d participate with writing this year, until about a week before the event, when I was frying-panned with some notions. As a fellow bearer of the curse, it started with a seedling of Kagome looking out for Inuyasha in the modern era, whether she realised it or not and even if, logically, she knew better, and snowballed from there. So, I blasted through each prompt with the intention of keeping them short, and after a survey back, each chapter grew deceptively longer, and I thought: why not add a stair [100 words] to Kagome's case for each day?
This particular canon universe is approached thusly: the prompt is the starting point, and the characters do the rest. I don't control the narrative, the narrative controls me, type thing. Hence, chapters are plot-negative, and times skips are abundant. Anyway. Enough waxing!
Note: I am working with the Viz English translation of the Inuyasha manga with some anime filler for seasoning, and the timeframe for the 3-year separation falls loosely between 1998-2001.
Final Note: Limerence spoilers start here.
Tumblr media
Prompt Breakdown ☆
Day 1: Love Language(s)
Summary: Kagome's been distracted. Or, I hc that Kagome spent a good amount of time away with the fairies (and trying to catch up with school) when she first got back. Thoughts and Feels:
Love Language(s) were coined in 1992; the likelihood of them being such a commonly adopted phrase/ideology was as slim as Kagome knowing what her friends were going on about. They're a relatively new conception of navigating romance, but that doesn't mean buzzwords didn't make it into those teen mags we remember so well, though! Point for fuck it we ball!
For better or worse, friends are gonna be a tad nosy, and Kagome’s definitely were. Consistently and without fail:
Tumblr media
Chapter 23, Volume 3, Mask of Flesh ☆
—and how else to feel her “snapping back into the room” in 100 words, if not when confronted with mathematics?
Tumblr media
Chapter 411, Volume 42, The Kind One ☆
Fun Fact: There is a small high chance I spent the most time on this one overall because trying to spin a tale in 100 words is wild.
Day 2: Possession
Summary: Kagome acts on impulse. Or, I hc that uncanny resemblances might ruin a girl's day out. Thoughts and Feels:
Okay, yeah, okay, technically the baseball cap didn't happen in the manga. But this is why filler episodes are good for the ecosystem, or something.
Shock can have a lot of side effects. Confusion, agitation, complete and utter lack of personal or road safety (to name a few), and in Kagome's case here, shoving Inuyasha-shaped familiarity under her nose when she least expected it had her acting up, because not only has the well been sealed off for X time, she was used to him acting up whenever he stepped foot in the modern era:
Tumblr media
Chapter 392, Volume 40, A Peaceful Meal ☆
Her friends still care, though! Cause that's what friends are for! As wild of a creature as Kagome can be, they're aware of her “struggles” with her health, and are oddly used to her odd ways:
Tumblr media
Chapter 35, Volume 4, A Little Imp ☆
Fun Fact: I rewrote that last line, like, 7 times. The free writing tag is actually fake news.
Day 3: Safe
Summary: Kagome's has a nightmare. Or, I hc that a brave face doesn't do much when she's at her most vulnerable. Thoughts and Feels:
If you've ever had nightmares/night terrors/sleep paralysis, you'll know how, well, terrifying they can be. Lucid states between sleep and wakefulness has a nasty way of warping perceptions, and with everything Kagome witnessed, her dreamscapes had to be vivid, especially after her stint in the jewel, where reality and fantasy blurred real bad, and what's worse, it taunted her about it:
Tumblr media
Chapter 554, Volume 56, High School Life ☆
To further that point, Inuyasha gets brutal - beheadings, graphic slaughterings (sometimes at the hands of an MC eheh), you know, justgirlythings - and therefore toned down for television, as anime adaptations often are. Kagome was 15, and while she did that, it would leave a mark. Trauma, guys. We're talking about trauma now.
If the reference was caught during her tiny tale: the scene with Mama H being shook to fuck over her baby glowing is anime-only, but I really dig the idea that she knew something was up with Kagome from Day 0, really aided in reasoning why she was so okay with her daughter doing all that, thank you for understanding. Another point for filler!
Tumblr media
Fun Fact: I…barely remember writing this one, actually, truly, read it back a week later like: don't know her. I love her like any proud mother, though!
Day 4: Modern
Summary: Kagome asks a question she doesn’t like the answer to. Or, I hc that curiosity killed the cat. Thoughts and Feels:
The trickiest one, in terms of setting. I spent too much time looking into the availability and flavours of historical records in Tokyo (particularly 2000ish, bc digital archives weren't that hot then) and came to the conclusion that while yes, it was possible for her to gain access to [something], no, it wasn't very likely she'd come across any death records, (specifically Koseki) for her friends, with the added bonus that family names are notably lacking until 1868. But take Kagome's resourcefulness + Japan's love for paperwork, and it led me here – to some kinda fake archive with fake books and fake names that could potentially be somebody that she used to know. And while I try my best to be respectful of the people and the setting I'm writing within, I asked myself bluntly, if I really gave a fuck about being accurate in this regard/fictional setting, and the answer was also: no. There isn't a Sunset Shrine either, so a fictional National Archives with The Right Documents there shall be.
Of all the Fuedal-Inuyasha characters, I feel like Sango is the one that would have Done Something to leave a mark, somewhere written on paper. You know...Badass Women For Agriculture Union [codeword for demon slaying], something. Yeah, Miroku was a holy man, but we're not talking about history right now, we're talking about Herstory.
And finally, that moment. The one where Kagome almost cracked and unleashed self-inflicted rage on some guy, cause time didn't cease to exist for them. The thing about Kagome, apart from her being an all round great character, is that she isn't tame, nor timid, and certainly no shrinking violet. But where she's brash and loud and (sometimes) quick to anger, she's also kind. And reasonable, and at the core, a wonderful person, and that duality is what makes her so lovable, relatable, and fun to write. Lookit her:
Tumblr media
Chapter 175, Volume 185, Where They First Met ☆
Fun Fact: I really wanted to point out that Kagome was supposed to be in her high school uniform, but writing restriction said naur. Irrelevant. Also, this is my favourite chapter. Weird, right? Haha?
Day 5: Heat
Summary: Kagome hears a bump in the night. Or, I hc that stranger things have occurred than a random bout of sleepwalking while living with PTID (Post Traumatic Isekai Disorder). Thoughts and Feels:
There was a small blip in time where this chapter skewed Mature. Explicit, even. Something about imagining a certain someone in a compromising position, but then the wind changed direction, and I went for literal heat. Japanese summers are stifling, and heat...is hot. Ace card, go!
Lunar charts and such: they don't add up when you compare two points in time, 500 years apart. But there could still be some peculiar celestial moon stuff that led a sleep-deprived Kagome to have a gander at the moon, especially when it's new.
Tumblr media
Chapter 140, Volume 15, The Other Side of the Well ☆
Inuyasha had a brilliant way of turning up when she least expected him, or staying away when she wanted to see him the most. There are little things that happen, like an open window or remnants of a dream that might stay with her upon waking, to lead her to think-maybe it was him?
Tumblr media
Chapter 287, Volume 29, Mimisenri ☆
BEHIND THE SCENES REVEAL: Kagome was the one who opened her door and tried to feed the cat, but it didn't work, because sleepwalkers are silly. Easter Eggy Subtext: Buyo is the catalyst, but Kagome is the key. Think about it.
Tumblr media
Chapter 494, Volume 50, Two Worlds ☆
Day 6: Courting
Summary: Kagome tries her best. Or, I hc that Kagome gives it the old college effort, a la jewel illusion. Thoughts and Feels:
Kagome's family want the best for her. Kagome's friends are boy-crazy hen-peckers. Hojo is cute, and has always shown an interest in Kagome. Therefore: it would be wild to assume she didn't at least say yes, once, to going out with him, even if she knew it really wasn't going to go anywhere:
Tumblr media
Chapter 140, Volume 15, The Other Side of the Well ☆
Sometimes you have to do things to understand how much you don't want to do that thing. At this point in time, Kagome's coming up for graduation, she's spent almost 3 years dealing with everything that happened to her, and she's not a complete tool. However, the mind wanders, especially when you'd rather someone else's company:
Tumblr media
Chapter 69, Volume 8, Sensing Presences ☆
She's going to give the modern era one last shot – because while romance isn't everything, it can be part of something – before throwing in the towel and saying fuck it, I tried. And as Kagome's will Kagome, she'd want to make an effort for the sake of others:
Tumblr media
Chapter 35, Volume 4, A Little Imp ☆
Fun Fact: This chapter (and the next) ended up floating around 1.5K at first draft. I'd like to formally apologise to the words lost in transit, you will be missed.
Day 7: Smile
Summary: Kagome comes home. Or, I hc that Kagome finally puts her wants, needs and feelings first, and those might suspiciously man-shaped. Thoughts and Feels:
Yeahyeah, the “I never thought I'd write this”, we've all seen it. But it's true! Never thought I'd write a chapter retelling, and this one is that fact's poster child. They aren't my bag (to read or to write) but the ending was there all along, obviously:
Tumblr media
Chapter 494, Volume 50, Two Worlds ☆
The right wish, the wrong wish, a selfish wish, a selfless wish – as many Isekai's go, wish fulfilment is a huge part of the narrative (not just for Kagome, but so many of the characters) but she, unlike others, had a huge weight on her shoulders about making the right one that I wanted to tease out that moment where she gets it:
Tumblr media
Awfully familiar cap is familiar, Chapter 558, Volume 56, Tomorrow ☆
Are you sure you're supposed to be there, Miss Thing? Life doesn't end just because you finished a job, or have to feel beholden to a sense of home. Home can be anywhere! Home can be a person! You can do it, bestie. Do it for her! Her is you! Go Kagome!
Tumblr media
Chapter 79, The Fruits of Evil ☆
She made her dreams – from acing school, to making her family proud, to seeing Inuyasha again – a reality. There's really nothing more I can say about that, it's all there. She chose herself! And that included him! Ain't that neat!
Fun Fact: In Japanese, Inuyasha calls her a baka. In the scanlation, he calls her an idiot. In the English sub/dub, he calls her an idiot. In the Viz translation (the one I refer to most) he calls her a fool. Imho, in English, he says idiot, cause Inuyasha has zero respect and carries that no-finesse kind of rizz. Bless him.
Bonus Fun Fact: Chapters like this are why I'm such a flaming monster about writing advice being a tool, not a rule. Those last two lines, without the use of But and And at the beginning, would not carry the same weight and timing I wanted to achieve, therefore, you can pry them as sentence starters out of my cold, dead hands.
The End.
Weehee! This could have been way longer (you're thinking how, I'm thinking I'm proud of how restrained I was) but alas, we've reached the end. Thanks again to @inukag-week for hosting the event of all time! I love them sooo much. Sososo much, they're the best little guys 🎉
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, click here to send me an ask! I love not shutting up about them 🛸

Okay, but that second kimono is such a look and I kinda prefer it over her usual flower patterned one now, lol. I did very little shading- just wanting to set the mood better for certain expressions.
Behold! Irene's many outfits over the course of the fic, including one that's still yet to happen. She starts out in her green turtleneck, before ending up in the priestess clothes due to a misunderstanding, only to settle on the blue kimonos Lord Sesshomaru gives her after she joins his group because, uh, her priestess clothes were in tatters thanks to Kohaku and Kagura. The long-haired blue kimono is for the Final Act.
Oh. You also have Anastasia in the corner, lol, who brought Irene to the Feudal Era in the first place. Irene mostly uses her Shikigami flames to fight- having a habit of hurling fireballs or just grabbing the face of an attacking demon and melting them like the reckless bean she is- instead of calling on the spirits themselves, but her powers are better suited for healing/support.
(Note: Irene is not Japanese. She is American.)
