Cissies are so weirded out when they meet a trans person with confidence, or a trans person that is happy, or a trans person that likes their life. All they ever see of us (bc the media only portraits that) are the struggles, the hardships and the discrimination we face. Don't get me wrong, that is (unfortunately) a huge portion of the trans experience™️, but it is not all of it. We are more than the sum of our hurt, or our trauma. Trans joy is something so wonderful, and cissies are so confused by it because in their mind, we are these suffering messes only to be pityed for their burden. They can't comprehend that we too are human like them, and that we too can be happy.
