Even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will carry you! I have done it, and I will bear you; And I will carry you and I will save you.

“God Holds Us In His Hands” By Josh Powell:
“Do you want to feel more loved by God in your day to day life?
This might be mushy for some of us, but let us never forget that God is multifaceted in his nature and character. This is but one side of him, an often unknown side.
Implications of His care: We are told in scripture many times that we are held by God. There is a peace that comes when we are reminded, I am in God's hands. He is wise and He is loving and He is perfectly on time. He is not indifferent about the anxieties I carry. He cares. He's going to take care of me.
He’s going to plan my life and guide me. And that guidance is informed by his love, planned in his wisdom, and timed in his sovereignty. God does not comfort us from afar, but nearness.
Psalm 27:10 Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.
Isaiah 41:10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Isaiah 41:13 For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Psalm 63:8 My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
Isaiah 46:4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime – until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.
Isaiah 49:16 Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.
Psalm 139:10 Even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
Psalm 73:23 Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand.
Be encouraged wherever you find yourself. You are in His hands.”

Isaiah 46:4 God Will Carry You
Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:4
When a child is born, the parents will always carry the child around, to care for the child. This occurs until the child is old enough to take care of one’s own needs. Rarely does a parent continue to care for a child throughout the entire life…

God Does the Carrying
Yesterday, my blog was entitled “Do You Carry?” I asked that question of Brownwood TX owner of Underwood’s Buffet when I saw two black boxes on his hips. I was asking if he was carrying guns.
It is troublesome to know that someone, other than officers of the law, would have a need to “carry”. It is also of concern that we would carry such heavy spiritual, physical and mental issues – especially…

Isaiah 46:4 - He Will Carry You
Isaiah 46:4 talks about how God will always be there to carry us. However, when you feel like your whole world is falling apart, it’s sometimes hard to believe that God is with you or loves you. But He does. More than we could ever imagine.
Isaiah 46:4
And even to your old age I am He, and even to your graying years, I will carry you; I have done it, and I will bear you; even I will carry, and…

The Wonder's of God's Word: Christ revealed ~ His Holiness
The Wonder’s of God’s Word: Christ revealed ~ His Holiness
Within the last couple of years, I frequently view Criminal Minds (I know, real poetic right?). It is not because I enjoy gruesome murders and serial killers, it is the psychology and the forensics which fascinates me (though I have had to cease viewing—my dreams became a bit dark and disturbed). I am intrigued by the process of the discovery of a small bit of evidence, and the process by which…

THE WORD FOR 1/10
And you saw in the wilderness how the Lord your God carried you as a man carries his son all along the way you travelled until you reached this place. Deuteronomy 1:31
In today’s verse, we can see an incredible picture of how God cared for the people of Israel during the 40 years they wandered in the wilderness. They were a people with no home, no provisions, and no defense except that which God provided. What they could not do on their own, God did for them.
The same holds true for us today. God, our Father, is still willing and able to carry you through the tough times; when you can’t do it on your own and when your legs will carry you no further. He will pick you up and carry you like a father carries his son.
The scripture reminds us over and over of this amazing promise:
I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. Isaiah 46:4
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10
