I love the Jurassic Park franchise, yes even the Jurassic World movies but if they actually go through with another movie (given the info we have), I will simply end myself.

Firstly, I just think Jurassic City is a stupid name.

Secondly, Dominion pretty much wrapped up everything for the major reoccurring characters, even from the first fucking movie, so they'll probably be doing what they did with Jurassic World and essentially jumping to a different point in time & focus in the universe, which will be a lot to keep up with given that while yes, Jurassic World did the same thing with introducing a essentially whole new cast of characters (with the exceptions of Dr Ian Malcolm and Dr Henry Wu) up until Dominion where they then had everybody from the franchise in the past come together, Jurassic World came out FOURTEEN YEARS after Jurassic Park 3. Yes it was a sequel but it was overall meant to mostly be an introduction to the franchise to a whole new generation of watchers, whereas Dominion came out in 2022 and this new movie is supposedly going to come out in like 2025 or something, that is objectively too close together for movies to be released when they are meant to be a part of the same franchise but you are switching to a completely brand new cast of characters because all you are going to do is isolate the audience who fell in love with the previously existing characters from not that many years ago!!

Thirdly, they're supposedly looking at Scarlet Johansson for the lead, which no hate to her, but honestly can we please work on, oh idk, discovering new actors?? People love that shit!!

Fourthly, kinda jumping back to point 2 and adding onto point 3, while yes, Chaos Theory, the sequel series to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous has been confirmed to come out this year, as far as we know it's a spin off and we only have confirmation about ONE main character returning and honestly??

I'd rather see a prequel-sequel that's meant to be set between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion focusing on the Nublar Six, how they react and overall just a movie that actually acknowledges just how fucked and terrifying the world of Jurassic Park actually is, plus as much as people might scream that it'll be "forced diversity" a live action movie involving the Nublar Six would open the door to see an absolutely amazing diverse cast of actors that we either don't really see at all or especially diversity that we don't see on screen together ya know??

I know that may be kind of counterproductive to part of my argument in point 2 about how switching to a new cast of characters might be confusing but a lot of people who know of Jurassic world have seen or have some context of Camp Cretaceous and therefore it wouldn't be switching to a whole new cast that is never actually been introduced because it has been very formally introduced.

Also can we please get a check in on Zach and Gray??

Rexy Takes It in Stride: A guest participating in an assisted feeding in Tyrannosaurus Rex Kingdom decides to try out Owen's signature trick for calming a dinosaur and holds out their hand with a flourish while shouting "You Shall Not Pass"! Obviously they're on the other side of the bars and so completely safe, but Rexy apparently takes a moment to regard them anyway, before huffing in a decidedly unimpressed manner and wandering off with her meal.

4: Hello In There: A rare moment of curiosity leads one Pteranodon to peer into the viewing dome inside the Aviary. The uncanny way she brings her eye close to the glass, as though angling for a better look at her admirers, inspires many of us to wonder if we're as good a show to the dinosaurs as they are to us!

3. Rise and Shine: Our Nasutoceratops family once again takes an interest as a hatchling peaks through the tent of a group on the Sleeping With the Dinosaurs experience one morning. The little darling's excitable honk elicits several happy aws and coos!

2. Compy Caper: A guest gets a little too close to the residents of Compy Cove and can only watch as his phone is snatched from his hand! The handler soon retrieves it, but not before several adorable seconds of squawking curious Compy snouts! Remember: NO VALUABLES OR JEWELRY OF ANY KIND SHOULD COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE DINOSAURS.

1. Firecracker Makes a Friend: This adorable compilation video features Firecracker, a baby Brachiosaurus currently housed in the Gentle Giants Petting Zoo, as she submits to an adorable hug from a young guest, resting her head on her shoulder and closing her eyes in Saurian heaven as her new friend strokes her head. It's a tender moment sure to bring a tear to the eye of even the most coldblooded reptile!
