Okay, so I know the BBC will prove me wrong and I know everyone has a different opinion on this, but my own theory about Ten also being Fourteen is that The Doctor just was not Ten for very long.

Like, Nine tells Rose he’s 900, Ten tells Wilf at the end of his run that he’s 906.

The Doctor uses their 10th body for the same amount of time it takes to nearly get an MD. When you consider that Eleven literally dies of old age at like, 1,500, and Twelve at one point volunteers to do a 1,000 year vigil,that’s so short it’s actually ridiculous.

So coming back to my theory, I think maybe the regeneration from Thirteen to Fourteen was going to be so epic that it requires, like, an updating period. We’ve seen something similar when Ten first showed up and immediately needed a 3 day coma.

Maybe the TARDIS saw the power up coming and was like “wow now buddy. We have too much to do for you to have another coma. What else can we do? Stick you in an old one for a minute? Well needs must.” We know she interferes for her Doctor all the time and that there’s a mental link. It wouldn’t be the weirdest piece of lore this show has handed out.

I like to think multiple past versions were picked up and considered. “This one? No, aged out of that one. How about this one? No, woke up with amnesia, can’t risk it. This one? Too fond of sweets. A sugar high is the last thing we need. How about this? Oh they barely touched this one! A little irradiated but by golly it’s barely even used! Stick them in that for a minute while we power up the new model.”

You know, like when your phone gets smashed when you have an insurance and replacement plan so you go for the upgrade, but the upgrade isn’t in the store, so they give you the newest model that is around and tell you to come back in three days.

HC that years before he meets Tommy, Buck gets asked by Bobby to help man the firehouse booth at LA Pride, and he doesn't even think twice about saying "yes" because he's the World's Best Ally. He goes and has a great time passing out stickers and fire safety flyers, and swapping workout and diet tips with random dudes who stop by the booth. He's never been to Pride, and just watching people walk by all happy and decked out in all kinds of flags and pins and wigs makes him feel something warm and bright in his chest. And the entire afternoon goes by and he gets so into it that he doesn't even notice that he's the only "straight" one working the booth the whole time he's there.

So I recently discovered the Monoma and Toga siblings/relatives theory, and I totally see it. In fact, I think the theory could be made canon. While I see why people would be skeptical given the traitor and Dabi reveal being foreshadowed so well, I’ll point out that the evidence for Geten’s family theory was hair color (not even eye color) + a similar quirk and that’s canon too so… not everything has years worth of foreshadowing in BNHA. Monoma and Toga both have blond hair, eye color clearly isn’t a dealbreaker, and their quirks both involve copying another person in some way. Also, they’re both eccentric, albeit in different ways.

I think that, if it’s canon, it’s more likely they’re just related and not necessarily siblings, because their hair color is a little different and their connections are, again, like the Geten family theory. Geten’s also just a relative, so while I love the massive potential in siblings Neito and Himiko, I think they’d probably be cousins.
