#It feels like I have to rediscover what I've forgotten of how I came to be here

Hello there! I sincerely hope that you are having a wonderful day! I've recently found your blog after getting into Hellenic Polytheism and I'd like to thank you for the work that you do, as your posts have been very informative and helpful. Other than that, I was hoping to ask some questions as a "baby hellenic" worshipper of Dionysus — if you're still accepting asks about him at this time, that is. If not, that's totally alright! In the case that you are accepting asks, then please forgive me for what I think will be a lengthy passage.
I'm a minor who was raised in a primarily Muslim household, and my interest in Dionysus came into being at around the year 2020, when we were learning about Minoan Crete through online classes. At the time, I had only known him as "joyous Bacchus" or the drunk party god, so I was amazed to see that according to some myths, he had married Princess Ariadne of Crete, who is famously known for being abandoned on the island of Naxos by her lover, Prince Theseus of Athens. One could say that Dionysus immediately received my respect after hearing of this, but was quickly forgotten as my mental health declined alongside my academic prowess. Fast forward to the year 2021, I had rediscovered the myth (one could say that they're my mythology otp) and in the process, found out about Dionysus' dual nature, which I could not comprehend until much later, when I was recovering from a state of nihilism and suicidal ideation — only to discover Nietzsche's Dionysian philosophy and the inputs of Sir Walter F. Otto. As a sheltered child who had just gone through her first mental breakdown, it was exactly what I needed and I like to think that Dionysus Eleuthereus liberated me from my constraints, so I am doing much better nowadays — which is why I had very recently decided to become a closeted worshipper through offering prayers and devotional acts.
I do, however, acknowledge that he is a very complex god who could be potentially dangerous, and as much as I revere him and wish to get to know him more, I don't think I'm mentally prepared or even have the time to try and practice divination. Could I still worship him despite this "roadblock?" I genuinely want him to be a part of my life as he is the one to whom I mainly offer the credit when my healing is concerned. If I can, then would you happen to have any tips for fostering a relationship with him in this manner? Do the Theoi send signs in this case? How do they communicate and how could one respond? And finally, should I ever decide to partake in divination, where's a good place to start? Thank you so much if you decide to answer my queries and may the gods bless you abundantly! 💜
Hi! Thank you for the kind words, I’m glad you found the content of this blog useful. And apologies for making you wait several days for an answer, I’m still a in a time crush so forgive any hastiness in tone, I just don’t want to keep this in my inbox for too long.
I’ll answer your questions in thematic groups, for clarity:
Could I still worship him despite this "roadblock?" If I can, then would you happen to have any tips for fostering a relationship with him in this manner?
Yes. You don’t have to (nor would I recommend it anyway) jump in head first and devote your entire life to him right off the bat. It is absolutely good to just start small, with worship that relates to your needs. If you feel that the epithet Eleuthereus is one that you already feel pulled towards, then nothing stops you from continuing on focusing on this one and just grow from the place where you have already started. Continue giving offerings, continue building kharis with him, and let things evolve at their own pace, without forcing speedy progress. Speed won’t serve you in this endeavour. Eleuthereus is also particularly linked to the world of theater and the stage, so can also be something to explore for you.
Do the Theoi send signs in this case? How do they communicate and how could one respond? Should I ever decide to partake in divination, where's a good place to start?
They might, but as with anything, I cannot predict what will happen for you. Going in without any type of divination does complicate things, but you can always either rely on gut feeling or seek out friends who could divine for you. In term of responding, it very much depends on the matter at hand. But often, responding will be doing: giving something in particular, researching something etc.
As for starting with divination, my main advice would be to choose a system and stick to it for a time. I don’t think it’s a good idea to start learning too many different methods at once. It’s a craft that takes time and practice (for interpretation, I mean). When exploring, I do like to advise “simpler” forms like bibliomancy, shufflemancy and online tools like the Homeromanteion or @verdantlyviolet’s Sapphomanteia system which can be done online too. Other people like shufflemancy, which is music-based, for example. These seem like “low-effort” methods, but they are, in my opinion, good ways to get used to interpretation before stepping into more complex methods like tarot, geomancy, etc.
I hope this helps. Truly, my advice comes down to just taking it slow and building your worship at your own pace and with the focuses that are relevant to your situation.

Darksiders Fanfic: WIP snippet
On and off have been working on a Darksiders one shot, ft War and my OC Siva. Super indulgent, extra angsty, and feel free to give me feedback!
Stormy Nights, Restless Dreams
Siva's POV
I've always had trouble sleeping.
Even before the apocalypse, nights were riddled with restless thoughts, finding a better sleeping position, and just doing whatever I could to get rest.  I guess one would think it gave me an advantage.  Surviving through what once was Earth, becoming a wasteland full of monstrous demons and riddled with danger; sleep was a rare luxury that I grew used to not having.  But unlike before, the apocalypse......made me actually fear sleeping.
After the falling out with Vulgrim and having no access to the serpent holes at the time, I was left to wander the ruined city once more. I had no giant tree to take refuge in, or even a fancy void to hide in.  I was entirely...on my own.  I was always on the move, never staying in one place for fear that I would be found, by demon or what used to be human.  The need to sleep was replaced by the need to stay alive.
Which would explain this very moment.
The War had ended.  Humanity, the Makers, and the Horsemen.  We were victorious.  Against all the odds; we had finally won.  For the first time in a long time, secured a period of peace.  Its been a couple of months since then.....and they have been hectic yet refreshing all the same.  Months spent trying to rebuild what was lost, on a world that has now started to bring life after a century of devastation. Months of hard work trying to build back the community by helping one another; it was like an impossible dream that became reality.
On this particular night, I had gotten back from the Maker's realm after discussing trades and a group of humans to stay there to help with the process.  As much as I wanted to stay with the makers, I felt a longing to go back home.  Home.....that's something I still have to get used to saying.
One of the things I had to adjust to besides the paranoia and urge to keep preserving all my food....was the absence of the four who had helped make this peace possible. The nephilim that turned the tide and  help humanity to achieve this, had been off the grid for about a month now.  They all had their own matters to settle with the abolition of the charred Council, and the empty seats between heaven and hell left a vacuum of power Imbalance.  A great deal of change came about, and while I knew this was important for humanity's future, I couldn't help but feel an emptiness.
It was safe to say that after all we had been through, I knew the four well.  We had fought side by side in the end times, the unity of human and nephilim being a force that even Lucifer himself had come to fear.  But their prolonged absence reminded me of just how different we really were. They were beings of greater power and purpose, and thus had bigger issues to deal with besides the revival of Earth.  I knew this, but by being alone once more, I realized something else.  For the first time in a long time, I felt a longing.  A longing to see them once more, or at least know if they were alright, I wasn't sure.  But I knew I missed one in particular.
"Hope your fine.....wherever you are Big guy.". I muttered under my breathe, a whisper only I could hear.
Within the walls of the home I built with my own hands, taking a long bath to relax and enjoy a once lost luxury, it was a peaceful evening.  The wind blew against the windowsills, and I could feel a pressure in the air as I prepared to leave the bathroom.  While humanity has been rediscovering our lost technology, the news forecast is one of those things that is a last priority.  But after a century without a televised forecast, one learns how to tell the weather.
That sudden wind......probably gonna rain tonight.
I had almost forgotten what rain was like.  Not the acidic type that was common during the Apocalypse, but actual water from the sky that wasn't polluted by smog and fire.  I was tempted to go out there and feel it for the first time, but the cautionary voice in my head pulled at me incessantly, and I settled on just heading to bed.  Besides, I don't wanna remember how pneumonia is like....best save it for another time.  Those thoughts gave me a good enough excuse, and I weaved through the hallways towards the bedroom.
For the two months since I've built this home, call it the sense of excitement and comfort, but I found that while there was some resistance, I have actually been sleeping.  I mean at first it took some getting used to the mattress, being content on the hard wood floor for the first couple of weeks.  After a while though of back pain and the desire for the comforter, I had to train my body to get used to it once more.  It definitely beats the rocks I've slept on before.  So after tucking myself in, I thought it'd be no different.  With the wind blowing outside, and a gentle rumble in the distance, I felt a sense of calm wash over me.  Before I knew it, that familiar sense of floating came and lulled me into the darkness of sleep.
Until I wasn't.  Then I felt like I was falling.
Hope ya like, and don't be afraid to give me feedback on my overly detailed writing style!

Some thoughts on my thoughts on Numenera
I'm going to try and sort out my thoughts here. I've been spending a lot of time thinking about Numenera, from my own sessions, to reading the books again and again, to reminiscing about the big era of D20 inspired designs. I absolutely love Numenera the setting, but I've never been able to warm up to Numenera the system for Numenera the setting.
Numenera, for those uninitiated, is an RPG by Monte Cook Games that came out in 2013. The hook is that you are playing on Earth, but 1 billion years in the future. The 8 (maybe) great civilizations that have come before manipulated and toyed with reality in a way that would seem like magic to us, and each of them left behind their devices and structures and changes to the world. In come the current humans, with no true understanding of any of these wondrous technological marvels - the numenera - and try to rediscover all this lost knowledge.
Let me be clear - Numenera the setting is brilliant. Monte Cook has proven back with Ptolus that he can worldbuild weird and wonderful settings, and this game is so full of strange ideas and mind-bending possibility that I'm itching to explore it.
Numenera is also a system, one that was later extracted and turned into the universal Cypher System, with lots of advice on how to run various genres with it. I like the Cypher System, I think it has a lot of great innovations and is light-weight enough for me to be comfortable with it. HOWEVER, more and more I have this nagging feeling that it's a bad fit for Numenera the setting. And I'm trying to figure out why.
So, I guess Part 1, What is the game about?
Part 1 - What is the game about?
On my journey in becoming a game designer, I had certain tenets drilled into me, mainly that if the game is about something, the game mechanics should help emphasize that the game is about that thing. This manifests in two basic questions asked at the beginning when nailing down a game's design goals:
What is the game about?
How is the game about that?
This is the basic approach I intuitively have whenever I read a new game and evaluate how it might play (and if I would enjoy it). So what do the answers look like here for Numenera?
Question 1 is simple, the game text itself tells us this explicitly: "The Ninth World is about discovering the wonders of the worlds that came before it," and "discovery is the soul Numenera". And on page 123 of Numenera Discovery, we get this entire section:
The core of gameplay in Numenera - the answer to the question "What do characters do in this game? - is "Discover new things or old things that are new again."
It doesn't get much clearer than this. "What do the characters do" is literally one of the questions to ask during ideation, and again and again the designers tell us that they want the game to be about discovering things.
So how is the game about that? It... kind of isn't. At least not mechanically. The only thing referencing discovery in a mechanical sense is that one of the two ways PCs gain experience points is through discoveries.
Then what does the game actually have?
Part 2 - The actual game itself
Many parts of the rules system are rightfully celebrated. The character system with its three parts ("I am a Clever Glaive who Rides the Lightning", "I am a Graceful Nano who Crafts Illusions") is beautifully evocative and makes for character titles that sound cool.
The core resolution mechanic of lowering task difficulty and the associated "casting from hit point" effort mechanic are a nice change of pace, if a bit fiddly at times. And GM intrusions are a superbly elegant way for the GM to influence the narrative while buying player trust.
And then of course there are the eponymous cyphers, bits of forgotten devices that nobody truly understands, and used in ways completely divorced from their original purpose (like using a laptop battery as an explosive). They inject a constant stream of weird into a game that's all about weird, and mechanically produce a rotating roster of new and varied character abilities that can be controlled by the GM.
That said, many levels of the game are confusing to me. From a high level perspective, Numenera attempts to be a more rules-light, rulings-not-rules kind of game that gives the group a core resolution mechanic which allows for some interesting gameplay decisions, and leave the rest up to the group to make up. Per se, this is not a problem.
I've played plenty of rules-light games that take a more "toolbox" approach (is that a term? I'm just going to use it as a term). That is, give everyone at the table a solid resolution mechanic, tips on how to apply it to different situations, and then let them have a go at it.
So there's a lack of guidance from the system in helping the players tell the types of stories the game is ostensibly about, and instead provides a hammer to hit every nail the GM puts in the players' way. But even with this view, something was still bugging me about the ruleset, but to see it, we have to delve deeper.
Part 3 - Ruling the mystery out of discovery
The problem comes when, delving deeper, details and individual crunch start to rear their head. For instance, the game uses abstracted distances (immediate, short, long), but then many of the cypher effects include very precise measurements for time, distance, weight etc.
Similarly, actions and tasks that players can perform are handled very loosely; the game features no fixed skill list, and "positive or friendly social interactions with other people" functions like a skill with mechanical bonuses. And yet, class abilities are rife with detailed conditions and/or effects.
It feels like a framework that is very vague, but with very specific rules once you actually choose to do anything.
And in a way, this is the biggest rub. The flavor of numenera keeps reinforcing how everything around the players is Weird StuffTM left behind by unimaginably advanced civilizations, and yet mechanically, it's function is explained so much detail that the mystique of it all vanishes. Just like someone explaining a joke or a magic trick, the game tears aside the curtain to show you the wizard behind it, and hopes you'll buy into the illusion anyway.
To say nothing of how the rules feel confused. This is reflected in the detailed-yet-not-actually-detailed-enough combat system, and the way the game tries to reassure you that it doesn't have to be about combat, and yet puts such a heavy emphasis on it with is character abilities, traits, and an entire class (of three) devoted to nothing else but fighting.
At this point, the game suddenly feels like a vague recipe that just tells you to do whatever, but all the ingredients are very precise in their usage. It has led to restrictive play with constant checking of details on both sides of the screen in my own sessions, completely counter to the premise and promise of the system as a whole.
It just feels so misplaced, I guess.
Part 4 - What now?
So what's the point of all this? This was mainly to sort through my thoughts on this game. I really love Numenera as a setting, but playing it with what is now the Cypher System never felt right. Writing all this is helping me see the parts I enjoy and the parts I don't.
And it'll likely lead to some form of homebrewing, adapting, or redesigning the game to fit my purposes, and with my thoughts more in order, I can go about that with a clearer direction and goal.
If you've stuck with me to here, thank you, and maybe you've gained a bit of insight into game design, specifically for Numenera. Don't let my thoughts dissuade you from trying this game. It's very beloved by many, and the setting is one of the most interesting I've ever come across.
Until next time.

If I was in charge of a school I'd probably make a lot of dumb mistakes but I would also make sure all my students spent at least half their day singing and doing theater and woodwork and lab experiments and cooking for each other and essentially being plunged INTO life instead of just being TOLD about it

When you saw the figure at your bedroom window, lounging upon the sill as though he was meant to be there, you drew your gun.
It was a small, angry thing, wrestled from the grasps of a Marleyan soldier and entrusted to you to help protect the queen. You had yet to use it, but levelled it naturally now, letting out a growled command for the shadowed being to raise his hands.
When you saw the figure turn from your bedroom window, lazily leaning his head back so his viridian gaze met yours, you dropped your gun.
It hit the floorboards with a metallic thud, and in a better context you would have held your breath, jumped away from the risk of a bullet discharging from the fall. But you were motionless, staring at the apparition in front of you. That was what he felt like. A ghost, conjured from beyond the veil.
"Eren." You said it like one calls to the dead, your voice shaky and unconfident. But brimming, with hope. With fear.
"I come all this way to see you, and your first reaction is to shoot me?" He murmured, his rich voice creeping through the dark to find the holes in your heart.
Moth bitten, hung up in a closet and forgotten, you had lost the memory of the pain and euphoria that Eren brought you. But you could feel it now, searing your chest.
"You deserve worse. Months. It's been months." The words tumbled from your throat as you fought the urge to cry. "I didn't know where you were. For months. And they won't tell me what what happened, no one will." You felt like a child, choking on your words as your hands bunched into fists. The only thing you knew is that you were meant to raise the alarm as soon as you saw him. But you couldn't. Not for him. You wanted to fall to your knees, to see how he'd rush across the room to gather you in his arms.
"You don't want me to answer that truthfully." He moved from the windowsill, feet silently hitting the ground as he faced you completely.
You didn't recognize him. Those were the eyes of your lover, those the lips you kissed, the brow you rested yours upon. The man who was once the boy you slept beside, you fought beside, you grew beside. The face you had seen overcome with passion, with pain and glory. But he was stoic, as grey as the three walls. You had felt him slipping before Marley, but now?
Even though he was in the same room, breathing your air, he felt gone.
"I do. I know you're the one who pushed me onto this duty, you made Hisu call for me, and for what? To keep me stupid and ignorant?" You spat the words at his feet, and it made him bristle.
"To protect you, why else? This stupid farm house is the safest place on the island. Safer than any of the walls, or the inner castle, or-"
"Safer than with you?"
That touched him. The repetition of his vow, that as long as you were by his side you would come to no harm. That he would hold you with his heart and protect you with his life. As long as you stayed within reach of him.
"Yes. Safer than with me. So much safer." He didn't want that to be true. He wanted to be where you belonged.
But he needed to make the world safe for you.
"I needed to make sure you were taken care of, that I could do the things I was meant to do without risking you." He crossed his arms in front of his body, and the tone of his voice bordered on petulant. But despite his stoic face, you could tell he was nervous. The clench of his jaw, how his eyes looked past you instead of at you. This wasn't a man who had forgone emotions. Just a mask.
Maybe that was your Eren after all.
"I know you hate me-"
"I don't hate you." You cut him off sharply, reaching up to touch the pendant at your throat. It was a piece of sea glass, tumbled by the waves to the colour of his eyes. You had picked it up on a beach patrol, and told him how it matched him perfectly. He had stolen it out of your pocket that night and fashioned a cage with stolen wire. The next morning it hung from the leather cord his father's key once did, and found its permanent home upon your neck.
He told you it was his eye and his heart, and to keep watch over it as he kept watch over you.
He had been so gentle. You remembered how the sea breeze rustled the hair, grown to the nape of his neck, how he had given you a smile that had become so rare. He had known then that the boat would be returning without him.
"I don't hate you even if I want to. I never could. I... I miss you." The dam in your throat broke as you hiccuped a single sob. And the dam in his face broke, eyebrows upturned with remorse.
He had made you cry.
"No, no, no." He murmured, crossing the floor to take you in his arms. He was taller, his body somehow even more wiry than when he had left. Toughened by hardship. But the way his fingers curled around the back of your head, the way his arm wrapped around your waist. That was how he held you. How he always had. The familiarity made you weak, and you clung to him desperately, fists mangling the fabric of his shirt as you buried your face against him.
"Y/n." He said it through gritted teeth, and then repeated it. And then again.
You thought back to every time you had embraced after being apart. The sound of his feet pounding the stone of Wall Maria to throw his arms around you, his cries of your name loud enough to send birds flying. How he had whispered your name when you saw him after Shiganshina, his face buried in the crook of your neck and the weight of the world suddenly so much more heavy upon his shoulders.
"Eren." You reached up, taking his face delicately in your hands. His malachite gaze was wide, wild with desperation and hurt. "What happened to you, 'ren?" You asked, and his eyes shut tightly. "What did you do?"
"Please. Don't ask me. I'll answer to God, but I can't answer to you."
You could have pressed. He would have given up, at least... The Eren who loved you a lifetime ago would have. But the darkness in his mouth when he pressed his lips to your forehead convinced you not to.
He had followed you so diligently when you were young. Seeking the peace he had somehow found in you. And as you pulled him towards your lips, you knew it was that same comfort he was searching for. Peace, amongst his life of nothing but war. So you kissed serenity onto his lips, knowing that this may be the last taste of it he would ever have.
He groaned softly against your mouth, still for a moment before pressing into the touch. His fingers were gentle as they brought you closer, and closer still. Tugging at your hips, your shoulders, your hair, coiling around your neck. He was rediscovering you, reminding himself of the map of your body. It was like he was finding his way home again.
"I missed you. I thought about you, so much." He exhaled over your lips, and you tried to keep the welling of your tears from spilling over again. You had needed that. Needed to know that he still breathed for you. "Even when it hurt. I thought about you."
"I thought about you too." You whispered, stroking your hands through his silken hair. "I hoped... I didn't think it was smart, but I hoped. You would come to me."
Your hands traversed his chest and back, running down his shoulders and muscular arms. You grabbed his wrists, feeling the bump of your hair tie still upon it. He lifted for you to see, and you pressed a kiss to his hot skin, unable to hold back the tears anymore. You watered his skin with them.
"See? I kept you with me. Always." his mouth was against your forehead, tendons in his wrist flexing. "I lost a lot of myself. But I never lost you."
You let out a choked whimper and he pressed his cheek to yours, murmuring your name softly. Finally your knees gave out, but his arms were vices around your waist, holding you as you leaned against him. But he came down with you, kneeling with you in the puddle of moonlight. It painted him white and black, his shadows so much deeper but where it graced him, he glowed.
"I'm sorry." You sighed into his shoulder, all but pawing at his back. "I just... Am I dreaming, Eren? Are you going to be gone when my eyes open in the morning?"
He didn't answer for a moment, face buried in your hair. "I'm real. This is real. I promise."
"Prove it." You whispered, turning your mouth to his ear like a bloom to sun. "I've had this nightmare, every night since you've left. Prove this isn't one."
His fingers curled around your upper arms as his eyes bore into yours. They were shadowed, haunted by things you knew you'd never know. "Tell me how. I'll do anything for you."
Almost, you wanted to correct him. He'd do almost anything for you.
"Love me."
"I do." He murmured, voice strained as he moved to cup your face, his thumb stroking across your lips. You parted them, inviting his digit to press against your tongue. His eyes widened slightly, and you saw something spark. It encouraged you to wrap your lips around him, suckling at his first knuckle. You let it pop from your mouth, dragging your tongue from his palm to the pad.
"Show me. Show me the way only you can." You spoke softly against his skin, and he let out a soft groan, from deep deep within his chest.
"Only me?" He whispered hoarsely, hands squeezing the sides of your face. You nodded as best as you could. "You haven't touched another since I've been gone?"
"Of course not. Since that first night, since that first kiss..." You gripped his wrists tightly, voice thick with emotions you couldn't name. "It's only been you, forever just you."
He kissed you like he wanted to consume you. Open mouthed, hot breath, all teeth and clawing fingers. You fell into him, letting him pull you up and push you towards your bed. You fell backwards, welcoming the soft mattress against your back. A stark contrast to his body, all hard lines and firm hands.
Eren's heat was enough to melt you. You didn't realise you had been so cold. Your legs wrapped around him, pulling his warmth further against your core. He grunted softly against your mouth, jutting his hips forward so you could feel how you made him.
Your lips trailed from his, kissing along the sharp line of his jaw, up to his ear. You didn't need to say anything into it, just your breath made him wild. He tore at your shirt, sending buttons flying across the room as the moonlight met your skin. In response you pulled at his, unhooking your legs to push at his pants. You wanted skin, you wanted bare vulnerable touch. You wanted to see the parts of him he kept hidden.
He never scarred. Your hands traced the unmarred landscape of his torso as he flexed underneath you. No matter what horrors his body faced, it would never leave a lasting impression on him. The titan in him assured that.
You wondered if it was the same for love, as your teeth pricked at his skin, making him shiver. You marked him, delicate and light. In the sun it would look like stepping stones, tracing the path of a lovers touch. If it would even last till morning.
But you loved him anyway, even if it was temporary.
"So beautiful." His voice was guttural, hands cupping your breasts after yanking your bra down. Your nipples didn't have time to harden under his thumb before his mouth was upon them, suckling gently. You gripped his chestnut hair in response, letting out a soft whine of pleasure that encouraged him to suck harder. He switched sides, leaving the cold air to caress the wetness at your precipice.
"I can hear your heartbeat" he murmured, pausing for a moment to press himself against your flesh. "It's so fast."
Your nails traced vows on the back of his neck, down his back as far as you could reach. "You make me like this." You whispered, and his teeth sunk into your skin, making your back arch. "You scare me. You turn me on. You make my head dizzy and my st-stomach fill with butterflies." He stripped you as you spoke, pushing down the soft fabric of your pants, then the cotton of your panties. You felt the kiss of the cold night air for a moment, drifting through the window. And then his fingers were upon you, slowly stroking along your aching entrance and your slick lips.
"I make you wet." He murmured against your skin, and you flushed, nodding.
"Yes, you do." You responded, moving your hips along his hand, encouraging him. He obliged happily, digits wet with your desire now sliding into your hole. You had been so long neglected, not feeling the desire to even touch yourself without him there to see. He could feel your tightness, how you gripped his fingers.
"My sweetheart," he purred, lifting his face to gaze up at you. His eyes were heavy lidded, almost hiding the jade irises that haunted your dreams. "You're so tight, spread your legs." You obeyed him as easily as breathing, opening your legs as he began to kiss his way further down. You whined again, and his fingers gripped your thighs, forcefully enough to close them slightly.
"The fucking noises you make..." He hissed, breath hot against your pussy. He dragged a tongue from the bottom, to the very top, glancing off of your clit in a way that made you cry out. "I want you to keep quiet so we don't get caught but..." Another languid lick, another lewd gasp. "I want to make you scream too."
Your hand came down hard on the back of his head, gripping his hair tightly. He groaned against you, sending vibrations through you. You didn't mean to be hard, to have tugged so roughly. But Eren loved it, eyes glinting as he sank his tongue into you, letting your plush walls envelope the muscle eagerly. Each time your hand twitched, responding to the waves of pleasure he drew from you, you'd pull more. And it would drive him forward, tongue sliding across your lips desperately, lips closing around your clit to suckle at it.
Your body was uncontrollable, hips lifting from the bed and chest heaving. At points it felt like he was drinking from you, loud slurps as he thumbed your clit. The movement repeated, becoming faster and faster. The pleasure mounted, a  knot tightened where his tongue touched you.
"Do it." He purred against you, feeling how your legs trembled and thighs touched his ears. He knew you, knew what every jerk of your body meant. "On my tongue, want to taste you."
That was what made the bud burst, your hips rocking desperately against him as your pussy fluttered, overcome with its first orgasm in months. It coursed through you, and you felt the bed wet with your love.
Your toes curled with pleasure and you moved onto your elbows, staring down at him.
"Eren," you whimpered, and his eyes opened once more. From your vantage point you could see how his hips moved, thrusting slowly against the mattress. He was as desperate for you as you were for him."Eren I need you. I need you so bad." With a final pop of your clit, one that made you gasp, he pulled back and straightened up. His cock bobbed as he looked at you, eyes filled with a dangerous mixture of love and lust. He was dripping, your wetness from his chin and his pre-cum from his mushroom head.
"How badly?"
You brought your legs to your chest slowly, and his eyes dropped from your face to your heat. Your hole closed around emptiness, so desperate to be filled. "More than anything."
His fist closed around his shaft, stroking slightly as he stared at you with a slack jaw, face softened with awe. He always looked at you as though you hung the moon. As if you were responsible for everything soft and wonderful in the world. You watched as he touched himself and his mouth twisted into a grin.
"Did this..." He whispered, his hand moving faster, the noises filling the room. They were hot, lewd. The hot slick of his skin, your moans rising to meet it. "Did this when I thought of you."
The thought of him, so far away from you, deep in trouble but still overcome by his want, the aching need of you. It was enough to make you gush visibly, and Eren moaned at the sight. Before you had the chance to beg again he was at your entrance, hands pushing on the backs of your thighs. You pulled at him, bringing him to your lips so you could kiss your moans into his mouth.
Because the moment he started pushing, moan you did. Loud and desperate, feeling how he spread you. How he made you stretch to fit him like a glove.
He was mumbling in your ear, alternating between sweet calls of your name and darkened swears. Your nails dragged down his back, digging into his smooth skin and making steam rise. His hips were slow, but only for a moment. The need took over quickly, and you bucked to meet him as best as you could. But he was long, long enough to make you start each time he bottomed out in you.
"Eren, Eren, Eren," you whispered into the dark, each iteration becoming more and more sloppy. He grabbed your face, pulling himself up so he could stare at you. Sweat beaded on his elegant forehead, his long hair slicked back. But his eyes glowed in the lowlight, focusing on your face as though nothing but you existed.
He pounded you in time with your chants, each drill concentrated on getting as much of himself into you as he could. He filled your needy hole like he filled your heart. Wholly, fully. Enough to make your eyes well with tears.
He caught one that trickled down the side of your face, lapping it up with his long tongue. You gasped for air, twisting his hair in your fingers as legs wrapped around him desperately. You wanted to stay like this, stay connected to him forever. His hands traversed you, finding the places he had made home. The curve of your waist, the precipice of your hips, the valley under your ass as he pulled you up further, hitting you now at an angle that dragged across the nub on your inner wall.
And then he lifted you, pulling back to sit on his heels and to suspend you in his arms. You grasped his face as you looked down at him, your hair falling like a curtain. Hiding him from the world, the world that would take him from you. He was beautiful. All wild eyes, soft pouting lips. His fine features were shadowed, his expression twisted with pleasure. You kissed him, once. Twice. Three times. Each time deeper.
Stay here.
You wanted to say as he began to bounce you, sliding you upon his length, fingers digging into the soft plush of your ass.
Stay here, we can be okay.
His mouth was hot on your neck and shoulders, leaving bruises that you worried would outlast him.
Stay here, I can love you safe here.
But all that came out of your mouth was a keening moan, your walls fluttering as you came like a river, washing over him. Your head was thrown back in ecstasy, the wave of euphoria making you tremble and making him growl. He bite your shoulder, drawing soft droplets of blood, and you felt his hips stutter, and the telltale wetness that heralded his own cum. Filling you, as it should. He moaned, vulnerable and wanton into your shoulder.
"That's fucking it, baby. Cream on my cock." He cooed, his pace unrelenting as he fucked you through both of your orgasms. You were relieved when he let you fall back onto the bed, eyes opening to pull in for a kiss.
But he didn't stop.
"Er-eren..." You whimpered, and he kissed you hard, enough to bruise the pulp of your lip.
"Hold on... Hold on to me..." He whispered, teeth dragging across your sensitive flesh. You obliged, throwing your arms around his neck, legs circling him and pulling him in to the hilt. He pulled back, snapping in quickly, his pace sloppy and hurried.
"Need more...need more of you and I..." A gasp, a throb from deep within you. "need to give you all of me."
You were seeing stars. Bursting across your vision like supernovas. Though your limbs clung to him, the pleasure grew almost unbearable. A burning fire twisting between your legs, making you jerk and throb. It's like you could feel him in ways you never could.
The drip of his sweat, watering the forgotten lands of your body. The way his skin soothed yours, healing empty wounds. How his hair shifted, a lock falling to caress your cheek.
And his heartbeat. You felt it. Inside you, beating as though it was your own. The sensation drove you wild, clawing at his shoulders and yanking at his ochre locks.
"Gonna- it's gonna..." You whimpered, unable to form coherence. He drove into you faster, nodding against you. You were reduced to a babbling mess, eyes rolled back, mouth slack.
"Yeah, yeah baby yeah me too. Gonna cum in you again. Take it, take me. Take it all." He said, his voice thick with lust as he clawed into you, the slam of his hips hitting you in the most unimaginable of ways. He reared back suddenly, gripping your face hard enough to hurt as he placed his brow to yours.
"I love you." He whispered.
"I love you too." You replied, and with that you were both over the cliff, bodies shaking with pleasure. He filled you, his hot cum spurting from the slight space between you. His hand slammed against the head board, chest heaving, hips stuttering. But his eyes never left yours, gaze glazed with pleasure. His weight collapsed against you, and you cradled him, murmuring as his lips pressed to yours.
"Say it again." He demanded, hand moving to cup your cheek. "Say you love me."
"I love you." You turned your head to kiss his palm. "I love you, Eren. I love you."
He let out a soft sound, resting his mouth against your cheek. "More." He demanded, rolling over now and pulling you with him. His arms caged you, in a way that made you never want to be free. "I want a lifetimes worth."
"I'll give you a few months." You muttered, and could feel him smile against the top of your head. You wondered when was the last time he did that. When would be the next. "Just to catch you up." His hands stroked through your hair, teasing knots from it. You laid your ear flat to his toned chest. "You'll have to get the rest next time." His hand faltered and then tightened, pushing you into him. You could hear his heart pick up speed.
"Y/n-"
"Don't." You interrupted him. It was sharper than you intended, but you thought you had the right to it. "Don't say a word."
He went silent, resuming his grooming of your locks.
"Tell me we'll see each other again. Even if it's for a moment. Just once more. I don't want this to be it." His hands flattened on your back as he held you.
"I promise." He murmured. "We'll see each other again. But by then you'll hate me."
You didn't argue. Somehow you knew.
"For now, I love you." You pulled yourself to him, kissing his mouth with sweetness. You whispered it, over and over. Like a promise. Like a prayer. You said until your voice was hoarse, curled up on your side as his body surrounded you. You fell asleep with it on your tongue.
And you woke up to an empty bed.

Nothing's gonna hurt you baby|t.h.
Tumblr media
A/N : something special for this special day heheh I hope you like it! It's a little different from what I've done before. Also I'm sorry for any mistakes. I love youu(you can listen to the song if you want to,trust me you won't regret it it's in the end)
Warnings : fluff and a little smut
_
She woke up hearing the birds singing outside, flying, being free. Her eyes blinked from abrupt contact with the bright sunlight and her head switched to the other side. Although she just woke, she felt exhausted and barely moved. Her cheeks were puffy and her small eyes were like fire. Everything burnt, the worst kind of pain. The sheets were cold next to her. A man's body was missing. Moments from the previous night came to her tired mind,as feelings overwhelmed her heart.
"Babe?"her voice sounded like a melody to his ears."Do you want to watch a movie with me?"his eyes met hers. He couldn't resist to this soul, who was now lying next to him.
"Of course my love, whatever you want"she laughed like a little kid, clapping her hands together. He watched her from behind. Her hair long, covering the half of her back, looked soft and brighter. Her curves, her hands, her legs, the way she was focused on searching a movie to watch. She could literally have any man she wanted or wished for. But she chose him, she was with him.
Their legs warmed one another, her head resting on his chest, going up and down. His lips on top of her forehead, kissing it every two minutes.
She felt the most luckiest girl. His arms wrapped around her, giving the comfort she never felt in her life. Her cheeks hurting from the bright smile she wore and from the heat, causing them to turn into a light shade of red.
None of them was paying attention to the movie. Were lost in their feels. They looked at each other at the same time, giving them a good amount of laughter, before their lips connect. The world stopped spinning. People stopped moving except these two lovebirds. The kiss was slow, expressing their inner feelings. They couldn't  hear anything but their hearts beating at the same tempo. She jumped to his lap, her hands now exploring his chest and neck as his hands were placed to her waist pulling her as much closer as possible. Their tongues fighting now, their hunger to taste each other's bodies.
She wanted to feel him inside her listening to his moans, kissing her neck and whispering sweet words like every other time.
He wanted to feel her around him, hearing her moans, feeling her quick breath to his shoulder, telling her how much he loves her.
In minutes their clothes were on the floor. His tongue rediscovered her body, her breasts, her belly, her pussy. So did his fingers. Every inch was something new. It was like the universe put an effort to make this piece of art that he had under him, moaning at his touch and taking his breath away whenever she called his name.
Her hands were scratching his back and later his curls. She wasn't able to speak from the pleasure she felt at that moment. The pleasure he was giving. He looked like an angel that was sent to this world to save and take her at a better place.
"Tom"she whispered at his ear, feeling him inside her, hitting her spot. He met her eyes only for a moment before she closed them again, leaning her head back and moan his name once more. He was the luckiest man in the world.
Her heart was exploding through her chest, not being able to calm. Her legs around his body, shaking and burning. Her skin was so hot under his touch, it wasn't even possible for a woman to feel like this. He had this power over her and he wasn't even realizing.
In fact he was scared that someday she'll fly away from his arms. She'll find love somewhere else, far away from him. This was the main reason he felt the need to express his love to her always, making her feel good in so many different ways. Kissing her, spoiling her, dancing with her, sing to her, writing about her, making love to her. He saw her eyes getting brighter, her smile bigger, her hugs longer. He knew she was going to be forever his, but still the fear of losing her was present.
Y/n was terrified too. That he will get bored, that his love for her will stop at some point, that one day he might me gone. His arms will hug another person's body, his lips will not longer kissing hers. The thought of it was enough for her to tear up. She didn't want to lose him. He was her soulmate, her world, the meaning in the miserable life she was drowning. He was her savior.
And although they were scared for the other person's feelings, the only thing both didn't doubt was their unconditional love they felt for each other. She was in love with him. He was in love with her. They knew they wouldn't stop loving and cherish the other. They were convinced that this was their destiny, to be in love.
"I love you"their voices blended so well. Their bodies started to move faster and both couldn't breath easily. Their moans filled the entire house, and even further, not being ashamed if the neighbors were able to hear them. They didn't care about the rest of the world. It was just the two of them, in that bed screaming as they were closer to the edge.
They finished at the same time. Tom's body moved to the side trying to catch his breath. She turned to him, placing her head to his bare upper body, giving little kisses.
"I'm gonna make something to eat okay?"she smiled as she watched him breathing hard and barely speak. She was responsible for that, but he did more to her in ways she couldn't express, and probably never will.
A satin robe covered her naked body. She was standing in the kitchen, moving every now and then to take things, add some, throw some others, mixing, baking. She wanted to thank him. He was the only one to take her away and travel in places even God had forgotten. He was the only one to make her smile so much. He was the only one that made her feel so weak just from a touch. He was much more than just a man walking down the streets every day and night. But she didn't know that she was the one that saved him.
When you are feeling lonely, it seems that everyone is happy except yourself. You don't have someone to talk to, share thoughts, laugh with, give your love to. Just silence. And then you start feeling less and less. That's how he was feeling the day she accidentally threw her drink all over him. She became that person he was searching for years. That made him start feeling again. Who knows where he would be of they didn't met there.
He leaned against the door, just watching her cook. Her hair up now, showing her neck that was full of hickeys he left moments ago. Her body so flawless, that made him want to feel her again.
"Y/n"she stopped and looked at him. "Can I have a dance with you?"
"What about this?"he grabbed her hand and started walking to the living room. She laughed a little and waited for him to put a song. She didn't know why his heart desired dance so much. She loved watching him dance around the living room though, he looked like happier like that. And she was always looking at him with a full heart.
His hands pulled y/n's body closer to his. He started swinging and she followed fascinated from him and the way he looked under nothing but the moonlight.
"Whispered something in your ear, it was a prevented thing to say but I said it anyway, made you smile and look away"
Her head was resting on his shoulder, her eyes closed enjoying the dance. Tom's head was resting on the side of hers, his lips next to her ear.
" Nothing's gonna hurt you baby. As long as you're with me you'll be just fine. Nothing's gonna hurt you baby, nothing's gonna take you from my side"
That's how she felt with him. He was the shield she needed. Nothing was getting to her anymore, 'cause he was the one that protected her. She never felt unhappy or worried about things she used to. Tom was the person that made her feel happy, loved, carefree.
And that's how he felt with her. Y/n took the pain away from him. She was there when his friends couldn't. She listened and cared. Only beautiful emotions got through him because of her.
"When we dance in my living room, to that silly 90's R&B. When we have a drink or three, always ends in a hazy shower scene"
He picked her from the ground, her legs around him. She rested her forehead to his looking to his brown eyes, darker that usual. Her butterflies flew inside her entire system. Their lips connected again as their emotions got the most of themThe only thing that bothered him was that robe that blocked her beauty. He wanted to see her from head to toe naked every day all day. She was like a drug, the most dangerous one he couldn't say no to. She was allowed to ruin his life if she wanted to.
They lay down, hunger take over them for the second time. Just with kisses and she was already wet enough.
"Waterfall is overflowed"he whispered to her ear, his fingers playing with her, moans coming from her mouth.
"Nothing's gonna hurt you baby. Nothing's gonna take you from my side"
He was now inside her, the pleasure hitting him like electricity. She was tight around him, fitting him better than anyone. His heart next to hers, his eyes scanning her expressions one by one. Every girl would be jealous from her beautifulness and every guy was wishing to be him right now.
"When we laugh into the microphone and singing, with our sunglasses on to our favorite songs"
They both remembered the same day. Their first road trip. It was a hot summer day, music was loud and they were singing, or dancing, or laughing, or kissing. A day spent away from where they lived, next to a river just the two of them.
She finished first only a few seconds before him. The moon was even smiling seeing their tired bodies come closer, hugging one another. She kissed his lips with lust and mostly love. She tried to make sure he knew she was there for him. And she was staying.
She got up from the bed, sun watching her naked body. She got her robe again and made her way to the living room where she found him. He was standing next to the window with a cup in his hand, only wearing his grey sweatpants. He knew that they would drive her insane and she knew that he was aware of that weakness.
"Good morning baby"her voice made him smile before he felt her hand to his curls.
"Good morning"he kissed her." How was your sleep?"he asked as he caressed her cheek.
"I slept good"she laughed."When did you moved us from the ground?"
"A couple hours ago" he sipped from his cup, pulling her to a hug." I made you breakfast. Well you did last night but something came up"
"Yes I know. What a pity!" she smiled at him before starting running around the furnitures with him behind her.

I hope you enjoyed it. Here's the song:
