I’m just wondering if you’d write something…? It’s okay if you don’t want to!

I was wondering about ghost or könig….maybe soap with a crybaby!partner? Like, I’m a very emotional person, I cry easily and I have really bad anxiety and self image issues. So I was just kind of wondering if like, they did something, maybe like touched them or something and then the reader bursts into tears because it feels good or they’re self conscious…?

You've gotten really good at working out when you're going to have a bad day. That heavy feeling weighs heavy on your shoulders from the moment you sit up in bed. The sickly lump in your throat chokes you up - makes you swallow down the glass of water left on the nightstand last night to wash it down. It's become so predictable, so routine.

Even your comfiest clothes feel too tight today. The waistband of your jeans constricts you, and the sleeves of your sweater are just short enough that you can't pull them comfortably over your hands. The lights in the grocery store are too bright and the crackly loudspeakers play some catchy new song you hate. All of your comfort foods are out of stock. You even work up the nerve to ask an employee if they've moved around the baking section (which they very clearly have, seeing as your safe haven of cookie cutters and chocolate chips is no longer on aisle four) only to be met with a dirty look and a shrug.

By the time Simon gets home, you're practically at breaking point. None of your go-to self soothing methods had worked, and the day only seemed more intent on breaking you with every attempt you'd made to ease yourself down from the emotional cliff edge you'd been teetering on. You'd hoped that you would've sorted yourself out by the time his car rolled into the driveway - prancing into the hall with a smile and a kiss to greet him - not slumped on the couch watching some rerun episode of Real Housewives. Your lack of enthusiasm only serves to make you feel even worse.

He's so quick to drop his work bag, striding into the lounge to capture your cheeks in his palms and press a long, loving kiss on your lips. The moment he feels wetness on his cheeks, he stills. "Hey." Simon coos, keeping your face in his grasp as silent tears dribble down your cheeks. "Hey hey hey. Wha's wrong?" The soft concern in his tone only makes you sniffle quietly, trying to avoid his eye. "M' sorry." You murmur, feeling less like something to be worried about, more like a burden. "Why're you sorry? No reason to apologise t'me."

Simon settles on the couch beside you as he gives you a minute to find your words. "Just.." It's impossible not to lean into his palm when he wipes the salty tears from your ruddy cheeks. "Dunno, just overwhelmed today I guess." You shrug defeatedly as Simon scoops you up, pulling you into his side. "Tha's alright." He reassures, stroking his fingers through your hair. "Nothing wrong with having a bit of a day, yeah? We all do." "You don't." You grumble, huffing at how good he is at bringing you down. "Yeah I do. Only difference is that you actually let people see it." "Don't wanna be a burden." The sound of your voice is muffled by the soft, worn cotton of his hoodie. "You're not a burden. You're fucking lovely. Jus' have big feelings sometimes is all."

The comforting rumble of his words has you melting into him, zoning out into the comfort of his presence. "You want a takeaway?" You hum absently in response, finally allowing your shoulders to drop and your mind to wander as he pulls out the menu from your favourite Thai restaurant.

So, I will be honest, I really don't care for Taylor swift. I know a lot of you do, so please don't hate me for that!!

Anyway, I say that because I just listened to her Shake It Off, and I thought it wasn't too bad.😊

As I was listening to it, I remembered that Grayson had to sing it in the TFG for atonement night. The song is very catchy, but certainly not a Grayson song!!

What I am trying to say is that I feel really bad for him everytime I think about what his brothers made him go through. They certainly made sure he would never ignore a 911 again.

Okay, now they REALLY gotta drop the Jacobi duck-related lore 🦆 (and I need to stop holding out hope Blessie will return 😔💔)

(Or my reaction to Wolf359’s Mission Mishap Episodes).

Welcome back dear readers! My schedule has been busy lately, but the Mission Mishap episodes were mercifully short, so I’ve been listening to a few episodes per week and have gathered my reactions here for you all to enjoy.

I love the title’s double meaning.

Mission Mishaps: The Veldt Oh my gosh. The episode description. Eiffel goes into the greenhouse… y’all. I don’t wanna get my hopes up, but…

I’m so excited guys. I don’t wanna get my hopes up, I know I shouldn’t, but I need Blessie back!

So Doug is doing his chores again. I sense a pattern.

He does a great Australian accent. Again, I need the aliens to clone Doug just so he can have a show where his different personalities talk to each other. Hm. Oxygen chamber has a lot of passwords. And a lot of weird ways to enter passwords. Which is nice for protecting the air, but not so great when you, you know, desperately need air and only have a few seconds to enter the password.

The binary forms of color? This is so extreme not to mention boring. Not one sign of Blessie. I’ve been bamboozled. And WHY is there a timer? This is so weird.

THAT’S IT?

Well I’m upset. We went to the greenhouse and didn’t see leaf or stem of Blessie. 💔

I’m not giving up hope. If not in the show then in fanfic that plant is coming back.

Mission Mishaps: Lights Out

Another entry from dear Doug. I wonder if Minkowski and Hilbert are gonna have him do something he doesn’t want to and then hijinks ensues and Doug messes something up?

HP Lovecraft, Call of Kuthulu? Oh me too Doug stuff is hard to pronounce.

Doug does a good creepy narrator voice. It’s funny to think of Hera listening to all this. It reminds me of those people on Lovelace’s crew reading stories together.

“Property of Dr….”

DOCTOR WHO? (A good show, but I’m literally asking the question).

Is it that girl on Lovelace’s crew who liked to read? (I’m sorry it’s hard to keep track of their names).

Ah yes, and the star is acting up. As is Doug’s imagination. I’m sure this couldn’t possibly go wrong.

Hilbert. What sample? What escaped?

I’m not getting my hopes up this time. You teased me with Blessie once. I’m not falling for it again. I’ve been burned before.

It just sounds like a little mouse. 🐁

…I hope it’s not one of the spiders… I’m now beginning to realize Doug’s fears…

Not that I’m complaining, I’m loving these stories. Mission Mishaps: Cold Turkey More Doug! Wow. 553 days. That’s… that’s a lot.

Thanksgiving? Is this the same Thanksgiving from Hera’s memory? 🦃

Banned from the kitchen? Oh poor, Doug. Was Hilbert not available? I guess he’s Russian so he doesn’t celebrate it. But he can probably cook.

Doug is just like me fr. Don’t ask my partner what happened when I tried to make him food. All you need to know was that I tried my best, and it’s the thought that counts.

Doug is gonna burn this Turkey. I know the actress was probably busy and these are “extra” episodes, but Hera please come online and help him.

Oh gross. Cans of spam? Disgusting.

Right, maybe Hilbert can do something. But on the other hand, Hilbert and Eiffel can make each other worse. And what was that about psychoactive properties? What was Hilbert exposed to?

I love how Hilbert sounds like he’s plotting something ominous even when he’s just talking about pie. 🤣

But seriously, why was he in Texas? He never answered that.

Aw, this is sweet. I like how it connects to what we saw in Hera’s memories too.

Mission Mishaps: No Complaints Aw man, SI-5? What happened to Doug?

Well gang, I guess it’s time for the adventures of Whiskey Man and Duck Boy.

Wow. Sitting in a car and brooding in the rain. An action packed adventure if I’ve ever heard one.

Oh wait, are they stalking Maxwell? They said she was from a small town.

“Did you stalk me?” Yes, he did Jacobi. Kepler was acting so creepy at that bar, I’m sorry. What even was that?

“I really hate you sometimes sir. ✨You’re the worst✨” oh Duck Boy you have no idea.

Please tell us why Jacobi is brooding and PLEASE tell us about the duck video.

Jacobi taught him questions only? Wow he really does love to dig his own grave.

Kepler is not your friend Jacobi. If you think he is, you… gosh you really need to meet somebody. Anybody.

All this complaining… Jacobi really is the evil version of Doug sometimes…

What was on Jacobi’s mind? What did Rachel think was on his mind? Oh, his one year recruitment.

Nothing good ever comes out of a mysterious duffel bag. Why does he have all those fireworks?

When your evil boss takes you on a fake stake out and gives you some fireworks to blow up because he knows you crave destruction: 💣🎆🥰🎇🧨😍

I like that they play fireworks sounds as they roll the credits. It’s a nice touch. Mission Mishaps: Happy Holidays Already down to the last one. Time flies when you’re having fun. Oh more SI-5. Hopefully a little less Whiskey Boy, a little more Duck related lore.

Geez, Kepler really does love flexing every single bit of power that he has, doesn’t he? Just get to the point already! Why couldn’t he have been the one to go instead of Maxwell?

A holiday party?

the evil space corporation has a HOLIDAY PARTY?

For what holiday? Cutter and Pryce clearly hate holidays. They’ve ordered people killed on nearly every holiday we’ve seen! … actually maybe that’s their way of making the holidays their own… and it makes me wonder who they want to kill at this party. Jacobi and Maxwell have a right to be concerned about this.

“We don’t ask questions. We trust that we were given orders for a reason.” THAT ONLY WORKS IF YOU ARE WORKING FOR TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE. And committing or endorsing murder takes you off the trustworthy list.

The idea of Cutter and Pryce celebrating Christmas disgusts me. Like, physically I have a hard time stomaching it. Christmas is about joy, and love, and goodwill toward mankind. Cutter and his crazy science gf have no place involving themselves in that. Not unless they show some serious remorse and do some serious penance and jail time.

SECRET SANTA EXCHANGE?

What kind of horrifying messed up gifts do people get each other? I hope Jacobi gets a pet duck.

… Maxwell’s mom died? “We all know you don’t talk to your mom” “…my mom just died?” “No Jacobi.” STOP BEING FUNNY.

Compare this to the holiday stuff that happens with the Hephaestus… this has such a creepy undertone. Especially when you imagine the events happening at the same time.

I’ve mostly been listening to instrumental music lately but the last song I listened to, is a parody song about the Twilight series of movies called ‘I Hate This Town’ by Gabi Belle (Gabi Balls on Spotify), it’s super catchy, a total banger if you ask me, and the lyrics are hilarious af! 🤣

If you’re in the mood for a laugh, please look it up on Spotify or better yet, watch the end of her video because the song has its own video clip and it’s incredible!

Favorite Color:

Short answer - Blue, Green and Gray.

Long answer - Blue (from #1f75fe to darker shades), most shades of Green, Gray (steel, iron, charcoal) but also, Red, Brown and White. This was one of the hard ones to answer😅

I also love Pink, tho, Amy Rose (all versions of her) is to blame 😛

Last Movie/Show:

Movie - The Boy and The Heron

I went to watched it on my first day of vacation. Coincidentally, it was also my birthday and I invited my mom (she’s not big on going to the movies but luckily she was interested on that one) we had a good time! And had coffee afterwards😊

Last Show – as a casual watch, an episode of Bull. The last show I watched in a meaningful manner was the 3th Season of Sonic Prime - I don’t watch much tv nowadays, tbh.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Ah! I can’t answer this one😩

It all depends on my mood, really. I love spicy food, savory is great (especially homemade) although, I am picky with sweets - Cholate, Ice Cream and anything Custard Cream are my Gold, Silver and Bronze but the list goes on lol

I’m currently going back and forth between Sonic Unleashed (for the eighth-ish time) and 2008’s Dead Space (first time ever playing, so far is frightening as heck, yet, fun)

I’m embarrassed to say I don’t remember…mainly because while I love to read, most stuff I’ve read as of late aren't books per se…some articles here and there and tons of wiki entries.

Unironically, the Summer to end. On a happier note, after watching the trailer for it, the Knuckles miniseries.

5. favourite song(s) in your native language?

Ohh, so many 🙈 also, generally, my taste in music changes with my mood. But here are some songs I will always listen to when they're on the radio (I made sure to find videos with English subtitles)

"Lasse redn" by Die Ärzte

Translates to "Let them talk" and it's a song about people gossiping and how best to react to it. It's damn catchy and so, so true.

"Auf uns" Andreas Bourani

Translates to "(Here's) to us" and it's a song about friendship and loyalty. It's also the song that's associated with Germany winning the Soccer World Cup in 2014 but that's just an aside...

"Ohne Dich" by Münchner Freiheit

Translates to "Without you" and it's a classic love song and also rather catchy.

"Krieger des Lichts" by Silbermond

Translates to "Warrior of Light" and it's a song about courage and strength. The band is also one of my favorite ones.

(also, great, now I have my German playlist on in the background 😂)

18. do you speak with a dialect of your native language?

🤔 does this mean "when I speak English?" Cause if so, I would say not anymore. I used to and it sometimes happens when I haven't spoken English in a while, but overall, no, not anymore. The reason I know this is because I often have native English speakers comment on it, asking me which part of America I am from 😅

If the question is if I speak with a dialect IN my native language, then yes but only a little bit and hardly noticeable.

24. what other nation is joked about most often in your country?

Hate to say it but I guess the Netherlands 🙈 We love them, we really do - but we also love to joke about them being everywhere and mostly with their campers 😂 there was also the time they didn't make it into the Soccer World Cup... oh, that was a dark time for them, they were the butt of jokes for so long... BUT WE REALLY LOVE THEM!!!

I was wondering do you have any Thai pop song recommendations? My friend who showed me kpop like 12 years ago also showed like Perfume for jpop and a mandopop singer but for Thai music she showed me some group called Seven Days and their 2 songs Luv and จะมีสักวันเป็นของ��ันมั้ย or as I call it Someday (shortened) because that's what Google translate says and I really like them, they showed up on shuffle the other day and I totally forgot about them but they're still catchy. I would be down to get more into new music if you got any songs? 😊

why do I simultaneously feel like my time has come but also massively under-qualified 😂😂

but yes! i actually have this playlist I made when I was getting heavy into T-pop last year and a lot of songs weren't easy finds on Spotify lol. But I've added to it with newer releases. And I apologize in advance for this word vomit I just did, you caught me in the special interest lol

my current (active) faves as far as groups go are Pretzelle, Siam☆Dream, 4Eve, and Proxie. (I linked their most recent songs, but they're in the playlist too!)

Pretzelle is pretty well known in South Korea because they've done a few OSTs and stuff over there.

Siam☆Dream is a Japanese-Thai group that was created to promote Japan in Thailand. So they have a very Japanese sound, even though all their Japanese girls graduated. Fanny (representative color purple) is one of Mint's old trainee friends!

I'm just getting into 4Eve so idk much about them but I love them sm, stan talent tbh. And Proxie just debuted so they just have the one song. But they debuted like a day after I was complaining about missing cute boy groups in K-pop lol. They are the only boy group I know 😂

I really loved Violet Wink's debut and it made them my #1 favorite, but they've been pretty inactive since participating in LodiX (a competition show that all the major girl groups were in). I hated the original song they performed there (Love Me, I think it's called) but their Crazy In Love cover was killer). They had a bunch of members graduate between debut and LodiX. Then my 2 faves Ultra and Shdar graduated last year (and both didn't seem very happy in the aftermath. Shdar was outright angry and it seems like they weren't being treated great) so idk about VW anymore lmao. Rather than linking their debut MV, I linked the LodiX performance because I prefer the smaller lineup's distribution but the MV is in the playlist!

Mini Heart were great, they were the first group under Mint's company when she took it over! but they dropped off the face of the Earth after their second single. So it's safe to say even companies get the acting (BL) bug and just drop/forget about their groups 😞

As far as soloists, Jannine/Ploychompoo, Milli, and Bowkylion are my girls! Very different sounds from one another, but I ❤️ them all. I linked my fave songs by them but there's a lot I'd recommend tbh and I put a few in the playlist. Jannine's in her top 40s/tik tok pop era rn, but Pak Rai Jai Rak is still that girl.

I also love Rose/Baby J, who is another old friend of Mint, but all she's given us so far is this song.

20. Are you a good swimmer?

I'd like to think I am, yeah! I ended up actually being one of the top swimmers in my class when I took swimming lessons a long time ago, so I'm pretty good, I guess.

45. Is there a song you love but you wish it was sung by someone else?

"Someone Like You" by Adele. I can't stand Adele for the most part and I hate her voice in that song. The first time I heard it, a friend of mine performed it and it sounded like a beautiful song. Then I heard the original and Adele just sounds like she's screeching and trying to sing a song where she can't hit all the notes 😩 I'm not a big Adele fan. There's, like, one or two of her songs I don't mind and just tolerate her singing cuz the song is catchy, but otherwise...not into her.

Uhhh my number one has got to be nightmare before Christmas, I love it and it doubles as both Halloween and Christmas. Also the soundtrack is catchy

BAAAAAAT. I'm doing well bby! Just chillin' and writin'. And yeah, I mentioned this in a couple of previous ask, so Ill compile that into HC form and expand on it here!

Billy and Stu Music Headcanons

I see Stu as having the most basic fratboy taste in music. Like popular party songs or pop songs.

It's like this fucked up juxtaposition between his darker thoughts/impulses and love for gore and horror, and his general bro-ish clothing style and music taste lmao.

He isn't a music snob though, quite the opposite! If he likes how it sounds, he'll listen to it regardless of genre. I can see him making fun of heavy metal though and trashing Korn because he's got basic taste lmao.

Billy likes alternative rock a lot. He's also a fan of grunge, nu metal, and classic rock.

He tolerates pop and all other genres, they're okay. Hates country.

He's a slight music snob tbh, and he'll argue tastes, but it's not something he's like super passionate about, so it won't get mega heated. But he will inevitably think his music taste is superior to others'

I can see them both getting super into Indie music if you introduce them to it.

Especially in a modern AU. I can see Billy especially liking indie music in that setting. Maybe even preferring it.

Stu would still be into pop and party songs in a Modern AU, but he'd also fuck HEAVILY with R&B.

Stu would like K-Pop, and would simp for BTS. Billy would hate K-pop and hate when Stu blasts it.

Stu loooves TikTok songs that get popular. Billy would like the ones that get popular on Alt TikTok.

If you introduce Billy to video game OSTs, he'd lowkey love them. Especially the more guitar heavy ones or ones with a kind of grand epic feel to them.

Stu loves meme songs. He almost died when he wouldn't stop singing Baby Shark. You had to physically throw yourself in front of Billy to stop him from beating Stu's ass.

Anyone walks into their apartment/dorm/house and they'll hear chillhop playing in the background as white noise during the day.

I feel like Billy would be into music for the lyrics for coping reasons, so he goes more for meaning; Stu just likes anything that's pleasing to the ear and catchy, regardless of lyrics.

Sorry, I gotta review this album. Just some of my favorite moments from each song and general thoughts😊 But beware, this is a loooong review:

Welcome To Horrorwood - Love the part when I got jump scared by the beginning drop even when I knew it was coming 🙃 Such a good opening song, the breakdown was fantastic

A Rash Decision - Based on Cabin Fever, unfortunately have never seen it, but it's on my list now. Such a catchy, headboppin' song. Makes me wanna dance tbh. The choir bit was amazing

Assault & Batteries - Based on Child's Play, which I only watched after I listened to the song, but it was great. I fuckin' hate dolls, fuck that fuckin' doll. "Hey, Andy! IT'S TIME TO PLAY MOTHERFUCKER" Absolutely amazing. "Mommy! Mommy! My doll is alive!" Also love. "This two foot tall demonic doll will make you his bitch." The best lyric honestly. The whole song is just really fuckin' neat, okay?

The Shower Scene - Based on Psycho, an absolute masterpiece. The iconic theme incorporated was...just fuckin' incredible. But a piece of advice if you're as paranoid and irrational as I am, DO NOT listen to the song in the shower like I did. It gave me the heebie jeebies, embarrassingly.

Funeral Derangements - Based on Pet Sematary, I only watched the 2019 version but it was pretty good. Honestly, another jump scary beginning for me lmao. But hot damn, this song is heavy and awesome. "Oh my god...GAAAAAAAAAGEEEEE!!!" Genius. The chorus is so fuckin' catchy dude, I love it sm. "I played with Mommy, now I want to play with you." Uh...demon child, late abortion that thing. God, Spencer's purposeful voice cracks...perfection.

Rainy Day - I am such a big Resident Evil fan (the video games), so this song was amazing. Like I loved all of it, but the chorus was the best part. Can't tell ya how many times I've destroyed my vocal cords trying to sing that damn chorus.

Hip To Be Scared - AMERICAN PSYCHO, MY BELOVED. God just...ugh, everything about this song was perfection. The fuckin' 80's break in the song that turned into a breakdown...*chef's kiss* "HEY PAUL!" Screams, blood, gore, fleshy choppy noises. I love it. I love all of it. Sigh...I have to return some videotapes.

Take Your Pick - NSFW NSFW AHEAD......at that breakdown....I was throbbingggg. Literally, it was so sexy. I listened to it over and over and over...I've never seen My Bloody Valentine, but now I want to. The only thing I didn't really like was the "You'll be mine" parts, the voice is sooo annoying to me, which I guess may be intentional.

The Box - Sigh...never seen Hellraiser. Never really been a huge fan of body horror kind of movies like Saw, it just doesn't interest me. But the song was great! Lmao. Love the riffs, they're so good. I realllyyy love the chorus, so catchy. And the breakdown...unghhhh, I love a good breakdown. And Ryan Kirby...goddamn...I really need to listen to Fit For A King more

The Fly - Yikes, also never seen the Fly. Again, don't really vibe with body horror for the most part. But I might give it a try someday. But it's yet another catchy song. It feels more softer to me, kinda like the Love Bites of the album, but it's still amazing. "I'm not saying I'm, not playing God." Banger lyrics

Wurst Vacation - Okay, most of these movies I haven't seen lol. Hostel is now on my long list. But I fuckin' love the Rammstein vibes, along with the German lyrics. "Eins, zwei, drei, DIE!" Immaculate. The chorus!!!! I don't think INK can write a bad, non catchy chorus. It's impossible. and..."YOU'RE LIFE DON'T MEAN SCHEIßE!"

Ex-Mørtis - WELL GODDAMN. Haven't seen Evil Dead, but I have a feeling I'd like it ironically. This song is. so. GROOVY. It's incredible.

Farewell II Flesh - Now Candyman is REALLY a movie I need to see. But like, first of all, the Flight Of The Bumblebee incorporated in the song. Like...come on man, give me a break. Why is every song so goddamn clever. Ngl, I hate the buzzing in my ear, it gives me shivers, but I'll overlook it cause the song is such a banger. and AGAIN with the choruses ughhhhh fuuuu- Spencer's vocals!!! Fuuuuuuuuu-

All in all, this album was an absolute joy to listen to. 10/10, truly. It's so good and I'll be listening to it on repeat until my ears bleed🤘🏻
