I wanted to vent to someone who loves Chucky and Tiffany and who actually understands their characters a lot more than the actual creator does. But it’s gotten to the point where Chucky and Tiffany in the show are extremely annoying to me. Yes I’m watching season 3 and I am honestly done with it. And that’s sad. But you are honestly one of the few people that keep me invested with Chucky and Tiffany (as well as Bride and Seed). But there is something that I admire from you and that is you keep the softness Chucky and Tiffany have for each other and their kids. Because Don has completely demolished that and that’s upsetting. Because yes YES Chucky and Tiffany are villains, but villains with soft sides with people they trust and who they care about aka love.

In Bride and Seed despite their fights there are moments that they are soft with each other and compliment one another. There’s a moment in Seed where Chucky thinks Tiffany killed someone (when it was really Glenda) and he gently talks to her and isn’t an asshole to her at all. His voice is incredibly soft and gentle with who he thinks is Tiffany. Then in Bride halfway through after he has killed her he apologizes to her. However, in the show there is no softness. Even him being possessing Nica he’s 10000000000% antagonistic he’s never once soft with her. He says she will be getting fat, says that she’s no real lady, and etc. Which contradicts Chucky and how he has viewed Tiffany in the past. However, with their kids it’s significantly worse (which I will vent about separately). Like yes they aren’t at all good people, but like Don completely took out the softness aspects of their relationship. As well as other things.

I feel the same way. The softness from their relationship is completely gone and it makes me so sad. The show ruined it.

I remember that scene in SOC. When he tried to use one of her phrases to comfort her not knowing it was Glenda.

That man loves that woman and vice versa. Shit....sometimes I think Chucky loves her more.

So i was thinking about the chucky series and that Big Twist that we all hated and like- i was thinking, they COULD have done something that worked with the concept of Tiffany being the one that actually called the cops that would have still followed the format of 'these two just keep turning on eachother and getting back together' that chiffany seems in canon perpetually in loop of, without it actually ruining a LOT of Tiffany's character as it did so But it would go something like: Tiffany had planned it not as a way to lash out at Chucky, but to get Nika's mom out of the picture, that she'd arranged the whole thing as a 'yeah the cops will find this specific hideout but that bitch thats taking up all my sweetheart's attention will be gone' type thing. like- she planned it like 'acting like she'd been out stalking some next target with Eddie and saw the cop cars coming so when Chucky ran out he'd tell her that that bitch called the cops on them and she'd be like 'well they're looking for you not for me so Eddie's a few blocks away i'll go the other way and we'll meet up out of town' and the only reason it DIDN'T work was that Eddie got cold feet and drove off on them.

I mean i'm premising this with the fact that i don't like the concept as a twist either, i think it cheapens the overall narrative, but it definitely COULD have worked if they put a little more polish into it... yet here we are (and i have nobody irl to talk about it with so sorry for the long ask in that regard)

No siis ne vaan kasvoi ulos nänneistä. Vasemmanpuoleisen jouduin ottamaan pois jo kesällä, kun se on muun lisäksi kasvanut ulos vinoon ja siitä johtuen osui helpommin vaatteisiin ja muihin. Oikeaa mä puolestaa katoin eilen suihkussa että se on kasvanut melkein kokonaan ulos ja alkaa olla oikea vaara että jos se tarttuu johokin se repeää irti. Niin otin senkin pois,

Mietin vähän, että pitäisikö jossain kohtaa käydä ottamassa samat uudestaan (varsinkin, kun nyt osaisin paremmin pitää niistä huolta alkuvaiheessa niin paranisivat nopeammin), mutta toisaalta se sattui aivan järjettömästi ja jos ne kestää vaan sellaset pari vuotta niin ei se ole sen arvoista.
