Hello! I was so excited to stumble upon your blog because a "queer gothic fiction set in the 1880s american west" is so, so up my alley. I've been out of the writeblr loop for a while--thanks to a certain video game we both love--so I was wondering if there are any western writeblrs you'd recommend I check out? I have not been active in the writing side of tumblr and don't know any other western writeblrs ;-; I am a big fan of art-tumblr with darling cowboy ocs. many blogs have short blurbs and excerpts with their characters (found all in this tag). got....i don’t want to say “overly” passionate but yeah, about something tonight  and thought it wasn’t too big of a deal but it was met with attitude of “no!! bad!! annoying!!” and i just kind of froze because why can’t people just....keep negative things to themselves? why do they have to try to hurt others? and i just felt myself completely deflate but also i wanted to explain that i wasn’t trying to be annoying, that i was just trying to explain and got enthusiastic but then that came across even more as “no!! bad!! annoying!!” and i just...i hate it. why can’t people just....leave others alone. or if you see someone blabbering excitedly just...don’t be rude or mean and just leave them be if you don’t have anything positive to add to the conversation. and it’s been a few hours now and i still feel like i’m “bad” and “annoying” and wrong. and i wish i could explain but then i try to it and it just seems to make it all worse. like i’m even worse for trying to explain. and i just feel so dumb. like i should know better. and what did i expect being so pushy and over-eager. but at the same time, why should i have to ALWAYS be monitoring and censoring and guarding. why can’t i just breathe and be?
