goodnight but as i go to bed, just wanted to say im thinking about about satoru coming to your apartment late at night after a long day of killing curses, after you two haven’t been talking for a while, and the look on his face when you open the door and mumble , “toru?” in the softest tone he’s ever heard you use. he nearly crumbles right there, crooked smile remaining plastered on his stupid face.

thinking about how he steps right through your door like it’s nothing, wrapping his arms around you and squeezing tight, sighing when you relax in his embrace. gojo’s the first to break the silence, always trying to lighten the mood, “did ya miss me?” he feels you smile just a little bit against his chest where your face is buried, and walks the two of you further into your apartment, shutting the door behind him.

there’s a lot that needs to be said; apologies to be made; miscommunications to be cleared up. but right now it’s more comfortable to find peace in each other, and satoru feels just that as he lays next to you in your bed, clothes scattered on the floor. you’re pressed chest to chest, just barely looking each other in the eye as you draw delicates circles on the back of his neck, touches feathery light just below his undercut.

the moment is tender and quiet, and you feel gojo’s arms wrap around to pull you closer, like you might slip away during the night. he needed this; he needs you. he’s sure of it when he feels your head rest heavier on his chest, quietly falling asleep. mumbles some sweet nothings as he gets comfortable and let’s his head fall against yours, finally relaxing.

Fake Voyager Episode: Tuvok gets kidnapped and forced to compete in an arena where telepaths fight one another to the death for a shot at fortune and prestige. He was initially kidnapped as 'fodder' - the aliens who run the arena will grab any telepathic alien they can find regardless of skill and they're essentially just there to be killed by flashier veterans of the bloodsport. The episode is mainly Tuvok showing off his tactical know-how and combat skills. We also get several flashbacks to him as a young man, learning how to fight both on Vulcan and in Starfleet. hear me out bc i love soap drawing but im also obsessed with the idea of ghost drawing?? like i think he'd only do specific art styles.. like probably scruffy charcoal landscape drawings. it's like the one thing he remembers from therapy ever, he refuses to use any other coping skill they taught him but that one helps

soap stumbling onto one of his drawings one and asking about it. ghost gets kind of embarrassed but ends up opening up only bc he knows soap draws too

soap recognizes some of the environments ghost draws; the military base when they first met, the view from the church in las almas, los vaqueros base when taking down graves etc. hes a little charmed to notice that the ones where soap was there are all bundled together, and increasing in frequency, and there's more effort being put into them and... yeah

soap and ghost just quietly drawing together on occasion. it's just a healing little shared task between the two of them, ghost jokes it's the only time soap's quiet around him, but it's just a nice activity for the both of them to do that doesn't require constant interaction. ghost isnt good with needing to interact at all times and this is his way of spending time with soap without overwhelming himself...

something about just sharing intimate tasks like this is just such a nice concept to me. ghost and soap both sharing parts of themselves others dont see, enjoying eachothers company without being bound by work

So I watched silence of the lambs last night for the first time in a while and I noticed somethings I hadn’t before. And I also just wanna talk about it in general.

So one thing I noticed was that Jame had like. Swatsika memorabilia?? Which I do NOT remember. But I mean I guess it’s just a way of showing how evil he is?? Idk it’s not really explained. I’m sure it is in the book, I have GOT to read it.

But I also wanna talk about the trans ness and also transphobia of the film. I don’t have any set opinions about this because a lot of it conflicts, so feel free to present rebuttals or your own opinions in reblogs (pls do I love talking about this)

So, Jame believes he is trans. Therefore, to me, he is trans. Still in the movie he presents masc tho so I still will use he/him for simplicity in explaining this.

So. He’s trans, and he’s LITERALLY taking away from cis women. (The metaphor of killing them and harvesting their skin being a metaphor for stealing opportunities from cis women by having the “amab advantage.”

However, when Dr Lecter first even ALLUDES to the fact that Buffalo Bill may be trans, Clarice is like no, there’s no evidence of transsexuals being violent in literature, they’re very passive. (Paraphrasing with stealing some words directly).

And then Hannibal is like no he’s not trans, he just thinks he is because of childhood abuse.

So. They do multiple things with this.

1: they make the distinction between real trans people and whatever the hell Jame is.

2: they’re saying trans people can’t be abused in the past and still be trans enough because their trauma is causing them to have these “unhealthy thoughts”

3: Jame is still trans. Transness is all about identity and how you feel about yourself. So even thought they don’t acknowledge him as such, he is transfem and he was denied the treatment he required and then turned into a Violent Evil Dangerous Monster who was a Danger to the cis woman
