I'll say it before and I'll say it again, people like Raxis, and the rest of the Edelstans ruined 3H for a lot of people. There's a reason why nobody looks back at the Fodlan universe fondly anymore, besides the fact that people are noticing the flaws more (which hey, no game is perfect). And considering how it's the most popular game in the FE series so far, yeah not a good look if there's a vocal bunch who'll go out of their way to sealion, harass, send borderline death threats, and spread disgusting rhetoric just cause someone doesn't like the female red emperor or sees her as the antagonist (which the devs see her as).

The fandom is just a cesspool of negativity because a certain group of people see anything negative about their fav as a personal attack. But they'll insist it's a both-sides problem to avoid taking responsibility.

Fucking hell I miss being able to just shitpost without edelgard discourse popping up every 5 seconds, or being told youre sexist for not liking a female character (???)

told the people from AA whilst walking back home along the beach about being suicidal lol. They were asking abt the issues i was having with the doctor months back, how that was going kinda thing. That spiralled into me saying I dont really have much hope anymore. They had previously on the walk been talking about their loved ones who had been suicidal/completed it not too long ago. Felt like such a mug and really insensitive about it because saying I was clearly made them really uncomfortable and stressed but I just didnt really have it in me to care, or I didnt know how. They gave me hope tho. Saying the reasoning out loud to them helped me notice that its slightly irrational. There are a few options I havent tried yet, and it probably wouldnt be a total categorical relief for my family for me to die. He said that when people start going to AA they often say theres nothing wrong with them theyre just an alcoholic and a shit person (because I had said this and believe it) and it turns out to not be the case. To be honest, I dont really care. I dont really fucking care if I'm mentally ill or WHATEVER. I'm not gonna get a medal. I'm not gonna get an excuse to keep drinking or to act like a cunt. The reality is, there's nothing *actually* wrong with me, I'm just an alcoholic and a loser lol

re my dumb tag ramble in my last post i guess it boils down to the bullshitery that is someone saying they dont eat. idk. donuts, bc they just dont like them, but then weighing in and butting into conversation about donut history and ppls right to eat donuts w/o getting shamed or called greedy or lustful or whatever, to just loudly declair that YOU dont eat donuts and youd rather eat LETTUCE instead and that you think donuts are kinda gross anyway. to a room full of people who enjoy donuts, or have otherwise complicated feelings about donuts. or used to be shamed for liking donuts and are just now coming back to letting themselves enjoy donuts safely. or used to be terrified of eating any kind of pastry bc of something in their past, and are only just now realizing that donuts arent scary at all and that they actually really like them! or people who like both donuts and lettuce at the same time and feel torn between liking these two things bc team donut shames them for liking lettuce and team lettuce shames them for liking donuts, and you screaming about just wanting lettuce in a donut-centric space is making them very nervous. if u say u dont sit at the donut-eating table and dont WANT to sit at the donut-eating table then dont get upset when ur opinion abt eating donuts isnt taken as the most prioritized one. when we're specifically talking about people who want to and who enjoy the very personal/complex act of eating donuts in peace. if you, yknow, get what im putting down

He runs his hands over his face, messing his already unkempt hair in the process. Regret creeps up on his features. “God. Fuck. They’re going to fire me over this, they’re not going to hear me out.”

EMPATHY - Desperation settles in the lieutenant's tone. Sadly, you find yourself in agreement, even if you don’t want it to be the truth.

YOU - “People are more valuable than machines, Kim.”

KIM KITSURAGI - “Not people like me.” He rasps.

YOU - “…”

KIM KITSURAGI - Before you can say anything more, you fail to notice the lieutenant carefully walking onto the edge of the ice. He looks over the frigid water, a dizzying blue that mirrors and distorts his exhausted face back to him.

YOU - “Kim?”

KIM KITSURAGI - Seconds pass as he looks to be contemplating something. Out of nowhere, he casually takes another step where the ice ends and the sea begins. It happens all too quick for the lieutenant to even voice a call for help— if he even wanted to — his body plunging into the cold water before your eyes.

YOU - “KIM!!!!”
