On dit ce qu'on veut sur le Nutella mais toutes les pâtes à tartiner bon marché préparées "sans huile de palme" que j'ai essayé ont une consistance absolument dégueulasse.

The Forsworn: Ivoria and a planetary focus
The Forsworn: Ivoria and a planetary focus
So the latest chapter of The Forsworn, “Ivoria” solidifies the planetary focus of this third part, which I’m calling Discordia. This part has evolved to take the main character and his immediate companions on a journey that skips from planet to planet as Shalm seeks to bag his genocidal father and bring him back to their home planet of Cirque to suffer the consequences of, well, genocide. You’ll…

I have finally completed my updated map for my homebrew DnD campaign! We’ve been playing in this world for over a year and I’m excited to see where the party will end up next! 🗺️⚔️ The party are currently in the swamp city of Idlebor and are soon planning an expedition to Wilds Edge and beyond the boundary of the Ivorian empire!

Some parts from our Ivoria session that made me laugh or seemed silly!  1. Our party met with our ‘employer’ Nicolin (Wizard NPC I think) and listened to him sigh heavily as we explained how we were at the centre of the two latest incidents that are now taking up his time (Knocking out the head archaeologist of a dig so we can break into the underground city just to use a giant metal dragon to escape half a day later and then killing the demon/devil prince who was in charge of a town and doing a... Good job? But also was kinda holding us hostage so we couldn’t leave until he died) #TheGuiltyBoysareInnocent 2. Riding Moorbounders called Snaggletooth, Chickenlegs, Beef and Greg and somehow surviving
3. Zaharius (Yuanti wizard) using a broom to fly and all I could picture was Bewtiched
4. Shammus (Werewolf NPC) explaining that it’s better he’s tied up naked so that he doesn’t tear his clothes and Nexus (Teifling Monk/Cleric) explaining that he’s done this before much to confusion of Isvara (Aasimar Warlock) and  Méduse (Human Sorcerer) who definitely did not understand and wonder why Nexus goes around tying people up naked

"Do you know the Lion?" the man asks. A strangely silly query. Nick resists the urge to answer Which lion? Aslan? Tanith Lee - Ivoria

Eran notes that Talie has been spending a great deal of time with Ivoria’s new arrivals lately. They do not comment on this, for it is her right to speak to whomever she likes, but Eran cannot shake the dread that grows within their spirit every time she rushes over to greet a new soul and interrogate them about their time on Inthya while the memories of life are still fresh and vivid. The residents of Ivoria do not really know what to make of Talie. They can tell she is not quite one of them, especially given the frequent and unusual changes she makes to her own form. Some assume she is a goddess who prefers Ivoria to her own plane, but when they say so she always smiles and insists she is a mortal woman, no different than any other.

I'd love to know more about Verdun !
i hope you dont mind if i answer this for my-original-setting!verdun!
verdun is albinistic, which along with melanism is seen as a sign of sanctity in ivoria
she’s originally from a group of Mourning koré (or: lost elves) but the desert was not very kind to her skin lol.. that, and her being quite flighty ended up with her travelling to ivoria which has a much more temperate climate
while its hard to tell, verdun very plainly believes korish folktales/legends/mythology and is very open to other spiritual beliefs (this is very personal, she won’t tell others what to do and won’t let others tell her)
verdun is nonconfrontational, preferring diplomacy and distraction over any kind of violence
shes also very tactile, has had many casual relationships (poly and otherwise) and loves being close to people
she can come across as foolish/dreamy which i think is part of her charm but underneath shes quite sharp and very adept at reading emotions
verdun has joined a fledgling group of naturalistic worshippers called arboreals, which is slowly turning her plantlike (think sylvari from guild wars?)
because of the superstition surrounding her albinism she’s been chosen for a certain Ritual…
she loses an arm at some point - amsel constructs a workable prosthetic for her and verdun’s sister ezra makes it fancy with magic and woodcarving
the albinism means her eyesight is really bad, but shes never really considered wearing glasses - when they were little, ezra used their magic to sustain her sight and verdun tries to seek out witches or mages that can help her when she can

I’ve been busy planning the next session for the DnD Campaign I run called Ivoria and I think the best way to describe The Guilty Boys is with an example from the last few sessions.  When an NPC they had been working with for a while betrayed them and got them captured by a Rakshasa in return for his own freedom, none of the party were very surprised by this. They are all expecting this to happen since they are all assholes and probably would have done the same thing.
However, when later in that same session, a group of NPCS they befriended came to their rescue mid-battle THE PARTY COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!! THEY were so surprised!! THAT PEOPLE actually liked them enough to help them!
Instead of a found family of people who would die for eachother, its so wonderful and interesting to run a campaign for a group of very suspicous, closed off individuals who are slowly learning to trust eachother and others.

This was a fun little project I did for our DND group for (just after) Christmas! It was nice to document the progress as I don’t finish pieces like this often but it definitely inspired me to practice using water colours more
So we have
 - Méduse (Human Sorcerer) as a Christmas Elf
 - Isvara (Aasimar Warlock) as a Snowman
 - Nexus (Tiefling Cleric/Monk) as a Reindeer
 - Zaharius (Yuan-ti Wizard) as Santa Claus
 - Wilfert (Human Cleric) as Mrs Claus
These roles hint to the dynamics in the party too ;)

Ivoria, Daughter of Ivan Daughter of the primordial God, Ivan, known for smithing the skeletons of Man. Ivoria, is the last in the line of the Ivory Clan; and thus the last with the ability to sculpt and manipulate bone. She is often sought after by the warlords of the Aether and the Underworld during times of war; and ordered to create new creatures from the bones of the undead.
