Stream League 7 Recap
EDIT: I've been bamboozled by MtgMelee showing an incorrect Swiss / Top 8 standing. Here's a link to the actual top 8, I apologize for the incorrect info. My bad!!! The Recap
Now, going down the rest of the top 8 we see Izzet Mill, which capitalizes on Galvantic Iteration's synergy with cards like Dual strike and Tasha's Hideous Laughter, generating massive mill at every given chance. We then see Bant Mirange, a showcase in the powerful ETB effect of Inquisitor Captain in combination with Teleportation circle. We go on to see the usual suspects as well, Boros Dragons, Mono White, Grixis Control, ect.
What's Next?
So, what could this all mean going into this weekend Degen Gaming Open? Well, it could mean a lot...or nothing. As we know, the Arena Economy makes formats like Alchemy a competitive struggle for most players. Alchemy has a clear barrier between those who play more variety versus those who play into a specific ladder / tournament meta. I believe we'll see the "Usual Suspects" as I listed above, but I also believe we'll see the more obscure hidden gems of the format. More Turbo Mill, the Return of Abzan Clerics, Mardu Midrange, you know the deal.
Lastly, I wanna give a huge thanks to CoolStuff Inc for sponsoring such fantastic events such as Stream League. As well as TheOneJame for hosting. It was an honor to participate and I can't wait to cover more events going forward! Full Decklist TurtleBox
