Eggtober 7 Soft Boiled Egg (with Toast Soldiers) Clip Studio Paint, Gouache Brush and Dry Gouache brush, 12 colors, 1 hour. “I will gladly pay you two eggs today if you will advance me the praise of the egg from yesterday.” Something something, J. Wellington Wimpy, haha. Smacked out the first egg (Eggtober 6) in a short time, took longer on this one. I’m trying not to go too far over an hour with these since they’re warm ups, so I probably could have done a little better on the toast soldiers if this wasn’t a warm up. I clearly spent the majority of the time shading the egg cup, which I’m pretty happy with! Drawing the crack on the eggshell was fun too! I also have plans for the next piece ready to go! It’s going to be a real exercise in shading and texture so I’m nervous but also eggcited (haha.) After a good poached egg, a soft boiled egg has to be my next favorite, followed closely by a fried egg. All three of them are just so good because of that creamy, runny yolk! Fun to eat and to draw. I always liked the aesthetic of a soft-boiled egg and how they’re often associated with “fancy” breakfast just because they come with their own little cup. For some reason, whenever I imagine a character I like (I am blorbo central basically all the time if you’re new here and just came for the eggs) having a “posh” breakfast, it often involves Eggs Benedict or a soft-boiled egg. (Come to think of it, I’m not sure I can think of an OC or a blorbo that I don’t headcanon as a lover of eggs. They’re just so versatile and easy to make tasty!) As always, big thanks to @quezify for giving me a reason to practice lots of different skills by drawing EGG.

Vickers Wellington (Vickers Wellington) was a British twin-engine medium bomber long-range, designed in the mid-1930 's. Has been widely used in the first two years of the second world war, after which itwas replaced by the larger Avro Lancaster , then it and was used mainly in transport and Training operations. nicknamed the Wimpie after Engl. J. Wellington Wimpy, a character from the cartoon "Popeye".

In 1936, 1945, 11464 aircraft were built. Wellington Mk.IA (N2887) of the CGS (Central Gunnery School) based at Sutton Bridge flying south-east of Chatteris, 24th June, 1943. N2887 started out with No.99 Sqd based at Mildenhall. Retired from ops it later served with Nos. 11 and 15 OTUs, then the AAS (Air Armament School), then with the CGS from 6th April, 1942 to 23rd February, 1944. It was then despatched to the Far East, where it finished its days and was SOC (Struck Of Charge) on 26th April, 1945.
