toy dragon's nicer than he looks, usually
EDIT: More sketches under da cuttt
Jack's fun to draw, though a bit more niche compared to other ocs of mine. he can do that thing where he can shock you with a handshake, but he's too nice to do that most of the time
I've learned a lot about shapes and pushing expressions with them, so now I can draw him a bit more appealingly and a bit more distinctly than before. I'm really really really glad he's found some fans

I mean this as a complement but your Toy lizard guy has the sex appeal of like, a FNaF character. or like the fanart version
like she's the perfect mix of "wholesome and cute", "Robofucker" and "Furry"
"ALSO--"

Jack, aka an anxious clump of plastic
Jack doubles as a beat-em up protag as well. very spiky. still gives pretty good hugs though

I love Jack so much that I just scroll through your tag of him and see how much his design has evolved as you shaped him and how much love is stored in him...
Thank you!! So much has changed and yet so much stayed the same since 2021 when I made him. I love him in all his shapes but I won't lie. Im glad he figured out how to style his stupid plastic hair
While I love chunky, unrealistic-looking robots with big screws and bolts in their joints, I also was annoyed at how I couldn't explain how such a character could move around without just falling over. I have this habit of wanting something that is ""fully explainable"" in-universe, so I came up with Jack before I properly refined what merch mimics were.
I wanted a big chunky robot-looking guy while also having a Lore Reason for being both lifelike, animate, and one of a kind, and that's how I came up with him. I have a soft spot for big dopey dragons, and "kitchen sink" stories like TMNT where a lot of ideas are just bashed together inelegantly but effectively in them, so that's how I wound up with this stupid toy-man guy. I also just like the thought of an action figure who can just poof to human size and hang out with folk.
He's got so much love stored in him

finally made a "simplified" ref for Jack to grant mercy to anyone needing to draw him
recap: jack thundervolt is a life-sized action figure of a protag for a tmnt/street sharks-esque franchise. He likes comic books. acts like a jerk "in-character" but when off-script he's very nice, if not a bit of a doormat. always got a kremling/krusha chest situation going on

I don't know if Jack is proud of his tits, but he should be
he is NEVER beating the butch lesbian allegations
he's proud of you, especially given his company, but he's also a bit exasperated at this point

what would you say Jack's voice is like?
I always kinda figured something surfer-dude adjacent, but sounding a lot more grounded. He sounds like a voice actor who Could be doing a funny voice but isn't actively doing one right now; Jack's whole deal is that despite being from a fantastical story brought into the real world, he's actually fairly grounded, well-read, and level-headed compared to my zanier ocs. It's the kind of thing where if other ocs were to say, use social media, you could kinda tell by their typing style that there's something zany going on beneath the surface whether because of context clues they give or just being wacky. But Jack. He just sounds like an actual guy through text and voice. At most you could assume he's a gym bro but that's the full extent of it. Just some guy.
genuinely glad to hear that but with full honesty none of this was intentional. i just wanted to make a it-guy with a round chest. where am i. how did any of us get here. where is my beautiful house
