for no other reason than i worked at an ice cream shop for eight years, here's what ice cream the mass effect characters would eat

shepard: neapolitan, strawberry for their paragon side, chocolate for their renegade, vanilla to balance

garrus: moose tracks, but will pick it apart just for the peanut butter cups and give shepard the leftovers

tali: literally any booze flavored ice cream

liara: mint chocolate chip because she secretly kind've fucks with the taste of toothpaste but will never admit it out loud

kaidan: butter pecan. it's not everyone's favorite, but it's his, and he's totally cool with it

ashley: whatever the 2183 equivalent to the tonight dough. cookie dough chunks, brownie chunks, butterscotch, chocolate chips, malt chunks, everything

wrex: this man is old as balls!!!!!! rum raisin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

joker: lemon sherbet. you cannot tell me that man is not lactose intolerant

miranda: cherries garcia, little bit sweet, little bit tart

jack: the most sickening sweet shit you can think of. cotton candy with marshmallow superman with a side of sugar

jacob: some sort of dark chocolate peanut butter ice cream that sounds good in theory but in reality you can only take like 3 bites of before you get a tummy ache

zaeed: banana splits that he likes to mash together with a spoon and eat like some deconstructed milkshake

kasumi: the weird avant gard shit you see in hipster vegan shops, like some bacon sweet potato rosebud ice cream

mordin: coffee ice cream, because he likes the taste of coffee but if he were to actually drink it he would spontaneously combust

grunt: those froyo shops that were everywhere in 2014 where you could make a bowl with like 5% froyo and 95% other toppings and it cost 14 dollars

thane: doesn't like ice cream because it reminds him of how he abandoned his child and how his wife is dead and he could never go back to the life he left behind, the life of stability, because his body is engineered for a deadly purpose and he can never atone for his sins rocky road

samara: this woman is old as balls!!!!!!!!!!!!! pistachio!!!!!!!!!!!

legion: tried vanilla ice cream. too sticky, got stuck in his wiring.

james: one of those brownie sundaes that weighs approximately 5 pounds and is majority whipped cream

steve: chocolate chip. classy, just like him ;)

traynor: something smooth and rich and velvety and inexplicably sexy, like raspberry chocolate chunk

edi: takes the idea of ice cream a little too literally and just has a bowl of heavy cream with ice cubes. is confused why everyone is disgusted.

javik: ice cream is for primitives (peaches and cream)

Here's the order, I think the squadmates would be found if they played hide and seek.

Mordin- He doesn’t hide. He says he wants to study how we all hide and react in a non dangerous but stress inducing situation. But he is actually running several bets against everyone and is keeping track of that data.

Javik- He refuses to hide, he says something about how hiding is weak and he will not practice weakness

Tali- She giggles when playing hide and seek

Grunt- he thought he was hidden well behind the counter but the top of his head is visible

Legion- He definitely would have been higher if his face wasn’t a literal flashlight

It has now been about five minutes.

Jack and Miranda- They both hid in the same closet. They start to argue about who should leave “their” hiding place. They then started throwing things and were quite loud.

James- He self eliminates. He was bored and just wanted to do better than Jack.

Ashley- She also self eliminates to flirt with James

It has now been about 10 minutes since they started

Liara- James sends Gliph to get Liara revealing her location.

Jacob- He was hidden decently it was just where Shepard happened to look

Joker- EDI helped him find a good safe spot before she hid

They’re 20 minutes into the game

Kaiden- He climbed somewhere to hide and Shepard found him while doing that stretch thing they always do.

Zaeed- He fell asleep while hiding and his snoring gave him away.

45 minutes have passed since the beginning

Samara- She felt it would be unfair to use her biotics against non-biotics.

We are now at the hour mark of the game. Javik is getting annoyed and is now determined to help Shepard find the last few.

Garrus- Javick found him. Once Javik started helping, so did everyone else.

Wrex- Is found by Tali in a small compartment. After the genophage cure, he has developed amazing hiding skills. Everyone is still confused how he was able to fit in there.

It has now been an hour and a half with three players not found. They split into teams to find them.

Thane- he is “found” by Grunt and Jack. He heard them talk about their lack of childhood and how they wish they got to experience things like this. He lets them find him.

It has been 2 hours since the start. Shepard suggests giving up and letting EDI and Kasumi win. Javik is enraged he can’t find them. And refuses to give up.

Edi and Kasumi- Javik finally found them after 30 minutes of searching. They were hiding in the same closet Jack and Miranda were in earlier. EDI and Kasumi were working together and knew after the mess Jack and Miranda made no one would think they would be hiding in there. Javik was so annoyed he wanted to play again but with his rules, and he wanted to be the seeker.

jacob’s loyalty mission should have been about his doubts towards cerberus & led to the tipping point of him either defecting in favor of shepard (to act basically as shepard does re: cerberus during me2.. it’s temporary but icy), or re-affirming his loyalty to cerberus. because thats what literally almost all of his dialogue scenes are about. instead we got racist caricature daddy issues that came out of left field & meant virtually nothing to his development unlike every other squadmate’s loyalty mission in the game. thanks i hate it

I want everyone to know I am completely obsessed with Jacob's physical training routine.

Not the part about how many crunches he does or how much he punches the wall or whatever. But SPECIFICALLY what he watches when he works out.

Perfectly understandable. It's a really stupid action movie about a hanar blowing things up. This makes perfect sense.

Ok that's understandable as well. Maybe he's just a nerd who wants to know how they did specific explosions or how the prop guns work. Either that or the Making Of auto plays after the movie and he just lets it run because he doesn't want to break a sit up streak or whatever.

But then this happens.

Aw yeah! Nothing I like more than fucking sobbing my eyes out while I'm doing lunges!

I AM SO CONFUSED BY THIS.

Why the FUCK is he watching Old Yeller as ONE OF HIS MOST FAVOURITE WORKOUT FILMS????

Please.... please I need fucking answers. What the hell is going on in Jacob's head??? Is this even a work out movie?? Or does he just sit and watch it to give his tear ducts a work out and then he calls that part of his exercise routine.

If I was writing for Mass Effect I would have more of the LI's get together if they weren't with Shepard. Kasumi and Jacob would've 100% happened instead of that mess with Brynn. I could definitely see Kaidan getting the favor of the Shadowbroker if you know what I mean.

In a stunner Garrus would absolutely have a thing for Ashley considering how Turian culture is and Ashley as a career Military woman? Issa wrap. Tali start of Jealous of and then be really into Miranda, and Jack would absolutely start to turn 'nice' to avoid Samara's bad side if you catch my drift.

EDI 100% calls Traynor's bluff and Kelly would take a special interest in Thane (who lives btw)
