That's... a tough one. Jaibo's obsession levels are already about as high as it gets. With a partner who's just as bad, the relationship is bound to combust. Jaibo is used to being wanted. He's devoted himself to a pattern of finding someone to fixate on, doing everything to catch their attention and lure them into obsessing over him just as much in return, then using them for all they're worth and leaving them behind when he's done. Having someone need and adore him makes Jaibo feel like he has some measure of control in his life, so at first, your behavior feels like nothing more than what he was aiming for when he first got close to you.

But eventually, it starts to get weird. For all he's used to making people obsess over him, this is a new level— and your feelings seem much too genuine. Jaibo knows how to deal with lust and longing and the desire to own someone in their entirety. He doesn't know how to deal with someone wanting him in a way that's all too real. And as you grow increasingly possessive and devoted, he's forced to face the reality that he can't just use you and move on, as he's always done. He's in deeper than he's ever been... and he honestly can't say if he likes it or not.

As uncomfortable as it is to have someone clinging to his side like this, a part of Jaibo likes the attention a lot more than he wants to admit. It's forcing him to confront just how badly he wanted to be really, truly loved. Even if he's internally recoiling from it every time, a part of him has started to hope this will last. Unfortunately, it's bound to be terribly unhealthy on both sides.

Zera for the character thing

Hurray!!!!

How I feel about this character:

I love him, but I hate him. I want to hug him and squish his widdle cheeks and tell him what a good boy he is. I wanna break his glasses and rip all his limbs off and then throw him into the fiery pits of hell. I want to marry him and have a zillion babies. I want to rip his dick off and also destroy the entire Light Club right in front of him. I am very conflicted with my emotions of this boy.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Jaibo, duh. I think about him and Zera fucking all the time. It’s basically a lifestyle for me.

While I don’t like this ship as much as the last one, I think him and Kanon being together would be an dark and interesting story to tell, and sometimes I wish for an AU of if Kanon did end up with Zera.

I also ship him with my OCs Akiko, Emiko, and Keiko. And maybe a little bit with Hanako. No questions asked plz.

And sometimes I wonder what Zera x Tamiya would be like

Idk… I guess Dentaku is his math buddy n stuff… but I wouldn’t really consider it an OTP or even a true friendship at all. My guy’s too self absorbed, introverted, and emo to have one.

I don’t think I really have one…? Other than I think KanZera is cool and I never see any content for it? Idk

One thing I wish would happen / had happen with this character in canon:

In my delulu fantasies: That him and Jaibo would’ve of lived together for ever and got each other mpreg a thousand times UwU

Realistically: Honestly, I don’t know. His death/doom was pretty well deserved honestly. Though it would be interesting to have an “Everybody lives” or maybe even just a “Zera lives” AU, what would he do? Would he just give up on life and live it as is? Would he still be in his delusional fantasies thinking he might rule the world at 30 like the old fortune teller said? Would he move on to something new and potentially more extreme/dangerous then his past goals? Who knows.

So I binge read Litchi Hikari Club because my friend recommended it to me.

All I can say is that Zera was the biggest bitch in the whole damn manga and he deserved what happened to him.

Hello, is it possible for you to do your head canons on the litchi gangs' sexualities? Thank you! ^.^

Honestly, I'm of the opinion that one of the fun points of canon is that they're all stupid straight boys, and that's generally what I go with. There's a certain level of puberty-brained stupidity in them that I think is pure straight teenager energy. Yes, debatably including Jaibo. Although he's complex enough to be an essay on his own...

Despite that all, I do think that they could shift a little as they grow up. People discover things about themselves as they age, so I'm open to most headcanoning on the subject for their older selves.

To do some quick speculation/personal thoughts on what they'd be like when they're older...

Zera — Dumbass straight boy for life. The stuff with Jaibo was more of a power fantasy for him than actual attraction— while he will have physical relations with men if it benefits him, his actual attraction lies with women. Most likely gray-aro, not forming feelings easily.

Nico — He's attracted to anyone who's nice to him. Probably demi with very little preference for gender. Has some internalized homophobia, though, and has to come to terms with any crushes he gets on guys— convincing himself it's more than just loyalty.

Raizou — He likes the idea of men sometimes, but in practice, he feels safer around more feminine people. Femininity has always been more attractive to him, although he does have to sort out whether he's into someone or just envying how they present themself.

Kaneda — He also has some internalized bad feelings about it, but he does kind of like the idea of a stronger guy protecting him. Probably had a crush on Tamiya at some point that he wasn't quite aware of. Really, he's attracted to anyone who makes him feel safe.

Dentaku — Quite possibly ace-leaning. He's so preoccupied with his machinery and studies that it's hard for him to focus on real people very often. Girls are pretty and nice, but it's hard for him to picture himself actually having a relationship even when he wants to.

Dafu — Women will always be his distinct preference (and he never quits being stupid about it), but there comes a time when it dawns on him that men are really handsome too. And from there, he's the definition of a bisexual disaster. The horniness never ends with him,

Tamiya — Also mostly straight. Would consider a relationship with a guy if the chemistry was there, though. He's so go-with-the-flow that it doesn't really matter to him who he's attracted to. Doesn't think much about things like sexuality— what happens, happens.

Yakobu — Pan, most likely. He spends a long time thinking he's only into women... but has an eventual moment of realization that he usually gets along better with other guys. It realy comes down to whoever makes him happy, with sexual attraction coming second.

Jaibo — Trying to make this brief*, he's most drawn to men because of trauma reasons, but because of those same trauma reasons, it'd be easier for him to have a healthy relationship with someone who's not male. Sex doesn't mean much to him; it's just a means of control.

Kanon — Aroace. Having a robot for a lover was easier for her because she didn't have to have the attraction that people expect of her. Likes relationships and having a partner, but avoids it because she always feels pressured to return the other person's feelings.

*Seriously, I could do a whole post on how I think Jaibo's sexuality works. That'd be a good thing to ask me about. XD

Sorry if you don't like this request I'm trying to figure out their personality so I can send better asks T^T but how would the rest of the boys react to their crush Confessing to them?

Zera

There's a moment of shocked, vulnerable disbelief before he manages to collect himself and return to his usual "emperor" behavior. Once he's pulled it together, Zera is just plain obnoxious. He gives a dramatic acceptance complete with egotistical bragging that it's only natural you'd come to him eventually... but his voice is shaking, and he's nowhere near as eloquent as usual. Internally, Zera is panicking. He doesn't know what to do with this or how he can fit it into his plans, but there's no way he could refuse. His desperate teenage boy side is taking over fast.

Dentaku

He completely freezes up. Dentaku has always had an image of himself as someone detached from his peers and unappealing as a romantic option, so when you confess, his whole brain comes to a stop. Honestly, he wants to run and hide. The fact that it's the person he's been absorbed by for so long confessing their feelings hits him so hard he can hardly think, and in the end, he can't really get words out. He likely flees the scene and regrets it later, too overwhelmed by a situation that there are no calculations or preparations for. He just doesn't know how to handle it.

Tamiya

As much as he likes to think he'd play it cool in a situation like this, Hiroshi is very much a mess. He's stammering, blushing, and trying to find the words to accept without looking like an idiot. This is the kind of thing he'd never dared to wish would happen, but it's kind of embarrassing that you're the one doing the confessing. It's not very manly for him to be the one standing there and panicking, is it? Even so, there's no way he could say no to this. Zera's going to kill him for getting into a relationship, but that hardly matters when he's this giddy with excitement.

Yakobu

To cover up how nervous he is, Yakobu resorts to his usual. His response to your confession is probably going to be some awful pun or joke, but it's still a yes... and that's just his way of showing that he's seriously overwhelmed with happiness. He didn't think he'd ever actually get this kind of attention, especially not from you. And that means he's all kinds of caught off guard. Goofing around is easier and safer than showing his true feelings, so Yakobu acts the way he does in the hopes you won't notice that he's basically shaking with nerves from the situation.

Jaibo

He wants to feel like he's finally getting exactly what he wants and trapping you into having feelings for him... but instead, there's a sharp, unfamiliar stab of a feeling that Jaibo can't place. He'll happily accept your confession with his usual laugh and a promise that he won't be letting you go, and yet, after the moment has passed, he's feeling uncomfortably unsure of himself. Now that he has you, there's the problem of keeping you. And that's all he can think about. Jaibo obsesses over the people he "loves", and genuine feelings for someone only makes that much worse.

I was wondering if you could do any headcannons on what kind of date the Light club members would be into? (Bonus points if you do Litchi and Kanon, lol but only if you want to.) Thank you!

Zera — A library date would be very much appreciated. Going somewhere where he can show you all kinds of subjects and teach you new things is great for Zera's ego... and he genuinely enjoys it. He's going to be rambling about weird dictators and robotics the whole time, but it's obvious he's truly, innocently excited for once.

Nico — Anything where you spoil the life out of him is both too much and the exact kind of thing he wants but can't ask for. A nice, filling dinner that you pay for, a walk where you talk and hold his hand the whole time, and going home to watch a movie while cuddled up on the couch, simple as it is, is more than Nico thought he'd ever have.

Raizou — Taking him shopping with have the poor boy practically vibrating with excitement. Especially if it's for clothes or makeup. Let him dress up while you praise how cute he looks in every outfit, and Raizou is as happy as it gets. And even if you don't buy anything, in the end, the experience is exactly what he enjoys the most.

Kaneda — Being outside where everyone can see him makes him nervous, so indoor dates are the best. Sleepovers where he can spend the night cuddled up to you and talking about endless dumb things are probably Riku's favorite. They actually make him relax a little, which you're always going to be happy to see.

Dentaku — He's the type who likes quality time best, so just sitting with him while he works on a project and asking questions is all he'd ask for. Even if you have no idea what's going on, showing interest in the things that make him happy means a lot. Dentaku will be grateful for any attention you give him, and he likes having time to work.

Dafu — He wants to do something sweet and romantic, like go out for dinner somewhere nice... by Keikou standards. It'd mean a lot to him if he could pay for it himself, but that's not likely to happen. Dafu wants to be a good boyfriend, and stereotypical fluffy, romantic dates sound more appealing than anything else to him.

Tamiya — He likes something more classic, like going to see an action movie with you, best. Getting out and doing something that he wouldn't normally be able to is always exciting for Hiroshi, but really, anything where he gets to spend time with you is good. He's also fully in favor of seeing what you're into, regardless of the genre.

Yakobu — If you take him to a comedy act, there's no way he could be happier. Even though he's going to laugh loudly enough to get weird looks from other people, and even though he'll repeat the jokes for way too long, the absolutely glowing smile on Yakobu's face makes it worth it. He'll go on for ages about how grateful he is for you.

Jaibo — Honestly, he's never really thought about it. The closest thing to a "date" Jaibo can think of doing is something sexual. He's never really had a concept of being romanced, after all. He'd also probably like just staying home and spending time with you, but the idea of non-sexual attention for so long is totally foreign to him.

Kanon — She's okay with anything involving spending time with you, but something like going to a garden or a music store where she can play the piano for you would be greatly appreciated. Kanon likes calm, simple dates that don't involve anything fancy; just being by your side and doing something nice is all she can ask for.

headcanons for their favorite foods please?

（*´▽｀*）Keeping in mind that the kids don’t exactly have good food options… this is going to be a little sad. Also, I feel like this is relevant, so here’s a picture of the food they offered Kanon in the movie.

This is the absolute best they could get their hands on. Yeah, um, this is sad. 

Nico:

-Honestly, he’s poor enough that he’d like darn near anything. I can see Nico as having run out of room to care about what he eats. He probably couldn’t name his favorite food if you asked him to. I can see him mostly eating the cheapest things that are available, possibly even eating stale or slightly spoiled food because it’s all he can get ahold of. 

Raizou:

-While one would imagine that he’d like something considered “girly”, like sweets, I think he’d like richer, more filling foods, like meat or carbs. As poor as he is, something that will stick with him for a while is ideal. I can honestly picture him liking salty things too, but I imagine he’d be sort of embarrassed about it, since it doesn’t match the image he tries to keep. 

Kaneda:

-I have a strong headcanon that Kaneda likes sweets, but can almost never afford them. It’s also canon that he loves his mother’s cooking. Basically, Kaneda is the absolute cutest. Just for cuteness points, please picture him liking that Japanese style strawberry shortcake that always shows up in anime. Yep, that’s what I think he’d like. 

Dentaku:

-Like the rest of the kids, it’s not like he has many options for food to choose from. However, I can see him liking seafood for some reason. He’d probably only have ever tasted the cheap kind, like tinned fish, though. I also see him as not caring too much what he eats, and tending to be more preoccupied with his mathematics than what or how much he eats. 

Dafu:

-While I doubt that he’d get it very often, I can picture him liking fresh fruit. What they have access to in Keikou is probably all kinds of terrible, like that pathetically tiny grapefruit in the picture, though. I think that Dafu is from one of the better off families (although that does not say much), so he might have access to slightly better food than, say, Nico or Zera. 

Tamiya:

-He’d probably like cheap snack foods, like the kinds of things that one can get a lot of for not a lot of money. I don’t see him being a picky kid, though, and he’d probably eat just about anything he was given. Because he grew quickly, he likely went through a period of time in which he was constantly hungry, and, in that time especially, he’d eat anything he could.

Yakobu:

-I think he’d like homemade foods best. Again, he probably wouldn’t eat so well, and homemade food would be something of a treat, making it special. I can picture him liking pickled vegetables and more traditional foods, and he would definitely be the kind of kid to never have a picky moment. He’d definitely have issues with overeating, too. 

Jaibo:

-He’s the pickiest of the kids, by far. I once read a headcanon about Jaibo being autistic, and going with my own experiences of that sensory issues. While he’d kind of have to eat what he’s given because of what his family can afford, I imagine that he’d be grossed out by certain tastes and textures. As for favorite foods, I can see him liking hot things, like noodle dishes. 

Zera:

-Well, lychee. We all know that Zera loves lychee. Other than that, I can see him sort of liking sweets, but being most picky about if the food is fresh or not. This is going to get sad, but i can see his mother having tried to pass spoiled food off on him, and Zera developing a particular anxiety over food being bad. I also feel like he’d be one of the kids who would eat anything. 

Kanon:

-I imagine Kanon as being the best off of the kids, so her food options might actually be semi-decent. I doubt she eats much, though, for who knows what reasons, as Tamiya noted that she’s particularly small. For some reason, I picture her liking tempura and related dishes. I don’t think Kanon would have the same food issues as the rest of the kids, either.

Do you think the kids could have been helped? Any of them? And if so, how?

-Tamiya, Kaneda, and Dafu would have been happy to leave the club behind. From the time Zera took over, they had little reason to stick around beyond being forced, and would have left if it wasn’t for Zera’s power. The three of them were decent kids, and could have easily been helped. 

-Raizou and Yakobu honestly didn’t understand how terrible the club was until the very end. They were too lost in their own little worlds to pay attention to what a disaster Zera’s club really was, and a little bit of realization could have easily snapped them back to reality. 

-Dentaku was there for entirely his own reasons. Dentaku, whether he was aware of the horrors he was committing or not, wanted a part in working on the robot. He possibly could have been swayed, but was never morally invested in the club or its goals to begin with. 

-Nico was so loyal to Zera that nothing short of someone better to follow could have swayed him. He finally had a place where he belonged, and only an offer of even greater kindness could have been enough to draw him away. Zera was like a god to him, for how kind he’d been. 

-Zera and Jaibo are the two that needed real help. Both of them weren’t just terrible because of the club, and would have needed intense mental help to be able be even a little bit better. The two of them were absolute disasters, and it would have take a miracle to sway them from the way they were.
