First shot: Very interesting and unique visuals. I also appreciate the detail of adding the toy animals at the bottom.

Second shot: I like the contrast created with lighting, within an analogous color palette. Also, I love the dynamism added by, once again, the use of diagonal lines.

As the soft ring of Jamie’s alarm pierced the morning calm, it gently roused him from his slumber. Wrapped in the comforting embrace of the soft duvet, his entangled body felt the warmth of sunlight filtering through the curtains. Beside him, Y/N stirred as Jamie’s arm, heavy with sleep, reluctantly left her side to reach for his phone. “Just a few more minutes,” he mumbled, silencing the alarm with a sleepy press of his finger. Reclaiming his position, his arm found its way back around her waist, drawing her closer. She nestled into him, seeking solace in his embrace. With a gentle kiss on her forehead, Jamie savored the moment, knowing he’d soon have to leave for early morning practice. “Do uo have to go?” she murmured, her voice carrying a silent plea. Jamie chuckled softly, his fingers tracing patterns in her hair as he looked down at her sleepy face. Her eyes met his, still glazed with remnants of sleep, yet undeniably beautiful. He couldn’t help but smile at her plea, leaning in to pepper her face with kisses, earning a giggle from her lips. “I don’t think the team would appreciate my absence,” he teased, Y/N pouting playfully giving him puppy eyes. “I’m sure they wouldn’t mind,” she countered with a chuckle, pulling him even closer into their shared warmth.

As Jamie’s gaze shifts to the faint imprints left on Y/N’s face by the pillow, he gently inquires, “Did you sleep well?” Y/N responds with a soft “mhm”, confirming her peaceful slumber. Jamies fingers delicately trace the marks on her skin, earning a playful swat from Y/N as she chuckled, “I can tell.”

With a gentle touch, Jamie brushes a few stray strands of Y/N's hair away from her face, his actions reflecting his affection and care. He begins to rub gentle circles over Y/N's back, soothing her with his touch as they linger in the intimacy of the moment. "Can we just stay like this?" Y/N whispers, her voice laced with a plea for more time together. Jamie's heart softens at her request, but he knows his commitment to practice awaits. With a sigh, he gently reminds her of his impending departure, his reluctance mirrored in his eyes as he reluctantly prepares to part ways.

With a tender smile, Jamie reassures Y/N, "I'll be back before you know it." Leaning in, he places a soft, lingering kiss on her lips, conveying his affection and promise to return. Reluctantly, he detangles himself from their embrace, his heart heavy with the prospect of leaving her side. With one last loving look, Jamie gathers his things and heads out the door, carrying the warmth of their shared moment with him as he sets off for practice.

okay so i'm loving all the posts about how Nolan Patrick came out of the woods to do a public tknp reunion because he's (not so) secretly a dramatic bitch and he didn't like his heartbreaking trade narrative being overshadowed...

BUT hear me out with this alternate explanation:

Jamie Drysdale shows up to Philly absolutely REELING from being traded away from his (hockey) soulmate and he's not hiding it well and as we all know, one person in his new locker room is acutely familiar with that feeling. so TK recognizes that look on Jamie's face, takes him under his wing a little, maybe invites him over after practice to hang.

Jamie is NOT doing well, and TK is kinda empathizing/comforting, but then Jamie starts talking about how not only is he not with Trevor anymore, but he's gotta figure out a whole new life and a whole new team and TK realizes it's not actually him who Jamie needs to talk to.

So TK texts Patty and begs him to talk to "the kid" and help him out and since the flyers are about to be in winnipeg anyway, NP agrees to come say hello ("but you can't force me to talk about feelings Travis. I won't do it"). And then despite everything he says, Patty sits down with Jamie and has a heart to heart with him and reassures him that some hockey (b)romances can actually survive a trade.
