I joined “Gunjo Odaka” which is the artist in residency in Minamisoma, Fukushima👏 I stayed in Odaka for about 2 weeks.
I made an animation about nature which I saw and listened in Odaka.
I realised many living things such as birds, horse, butterflies, plants, and sea in Odaka🐴🦋🪴 It reminds me of my hometown in Fukushima prefecture, and made me feel my childhoods. I’ve recently become aware of the importance of striking the balance between development of the city and nature. For making a living, I feel I need to live in the city because of conveniences, but also to live with nature. So I became to focus on nature in Odaka.
In addition, local people usually live in Japanese style rooms.
I came up with projecting my animation to the Japanese sliding door which is called “Fusuma” in a room because the sliding doors are often painted with nature motifs❣️
In Odaka, it seems people try to communicate with others because the population is still small since the evacuation was lifted several years ago. I met many people and some of them are from other prefectures. I look forward to the future development of Odaka.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported and helped with this project✨
A work in progress about Kuchiki Ayumi and her Wakame Taishi doll.
Ayumi is my OC who is the daughter of Kuchiki Byakuya (Bleach) and Tomoyo-hime (TRC). She is playing with her Wakame Taishi doll that her mother made for her.

Just saw someone on Twitter complain about the lack of Japanese people in Oppenheimer, and what did you expect??? Did you want the final act to be the bomb dropping and see people burning alive???
The reason why we don't see a Japanese perspective is because one, including a Japanese perspective, just to see how bad the suffering was would be exploitation. Two, to see an accurate and sensitive take on how the japanese felt about Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan (as incredible as he is) isn't the right person to do this. And three, it's based on Oppenheimer's biography
Oppenheimer, the movie, literally shows you people (mostly the superiors, because by the middle/end of it you see Oppenheimer regretting his creation) doing something dubious and inhumane because they removed themselves away, both emotionally and physically, from the people they are hurting.
Nagasaki and Hiroshima only exist in those men's distant thoughts and imaginations. One guy literally asks to take a city off the bombing because that's where he had his honeymoon. It's disturbing and unsettling, as if those people were not real human beings. The lack of Japanese people drives the entire point home.
Also, Japanese cinema is right there. Barefoot Gen, Grave of the Fireflies, or Hiroshima (responsible for showing to many Americans the effects of the bombs for the first time) are just a few of the many, many decades of post-war Japanese movies we have
Me 2 years ago: i love the bonds the demigods share with each other & some with Radagon/Godfrey/Rennala, but it’s kinda sad no one seems to be particularly insane about Marika :(
Fromsoft pre-heating Messmer in the oven: hey-
this image has changed the trajectory of my life
like, it might not be apparent before but i've never been normal about Marika for one bit... so a demigod with a whole ass giant statue of her cradling a baby in his boss room (also, that's the most LOVING depiction of Marika so far in the entire game) + the first one to outright calling her Mother ?? M A N
also all the “unwanted child” thing is pure fan speculation so far. no one in canon is saying he's unwanted. yes he carries all the symbols that are against the Erdtree but have you considered ...... they are trophies ....... of all the forces he had slayed to protect his Mother ...... how about that .........
EDIT to add that the throne he’s sitting on in the poster is actually also in the boss room, it’s just tiny af against the gigantic Marika statue behind it.
What’s his deal that is so insane … just a lil guy chilling in front of a colossal statue of his mom cradling baby him
