Jason had called you to come over for some quality time like usual. It was a routine for you both to stay at one another’s place to fool around bit. When he came up to you to introduce himself, you were taken back since such a sexy man was talking to you. He would get a kick out of constantly flirting and having you turning red in front of your coworkers. But soon he took you aside and just kissed you. It was after work when he was walking you to your car and held you close to his body as his lips moved against you. Your first reaction was to pull away but he kept you still. It was the best thing to happen, now he’s seen you grown more comfortable with how you called him late at night.

Since then you have been sleeping with each other and staying up late just talking. Although there was a moment where you both just finished and Jason’s body settled over yours. His hand threaded in your hair to massage your scalp. You felt so precious in that moment and how he was smiling. He let it slip, the three words that shouldn’t be so easy to say. “I love you” It made your heart skip and your eyes widened. Jason could see how it shifted your mood but he just kissed you and went to sleep. You felt bad but he can’t be serious. He couldn’t possibly be in love. Or so you thought…

He started being more affectionate in public, especially at work with how he would hug you out of nowhere. Or when he’d have his arm around your waist and of course he’d be with you in your office all the time. You’d just be working and see him staring at you. He just keeps it up and would show his “love” by how passionate he was during sex. It was something you just couldn’t get used to. Now here you working while Jason was sitting across on his phone.

“Y/N.”

“What?”

“I love you.” You breath hitched at his words. This has to stop.

“No you don’t. I swear you’re crazy sometimes.” It may sound cold but you brushed off his comment and went back to sorting papers. The phone rang and answered as you saw Jason stand up. Your eyebrows quirked as you saw him close your blinds as you spoke on the phone. In middle of your conversation Jason snatched away your phone.

“Miss Y/N is busy with a client at the moment. Please call back later.” With that, he hung the phone and you stood up to look at him in absolute shock.

“What the hell Jason! You can’t just-“ He didn’t seem to care about what you were going on about as his hand grabbed your chin to kiss you. Your hands immediately pushed him away and it seemed he was going to attempt again but you held your ground.

“Jason what is wrong with you?”

"When you love someone, you don't just stop. Ever. Even when people roll their eyes or call you crazy... even then. Especially then!"

You didn’t know how to react, Jason has never shown this side before. You never thought you’d see it since he was always so sweet towards you. But I guess this is what pushed him.

“Jason you can’t love me. I’m a mess and I just can’t have someone as good as you in my life.”

“So? I think you’re the best thing to exist in my life. I fell for you since I first saw you.” You didn’t know how to respond. Your arms relaxed and he moved closer to hold on your hips. He pulled you in again and all you saw was that genuine look in his eyes.

“I can’t control this feeling anymore. When I first told you that night, I thought I could just push it away. But you make it impossible Y/N.”

“You sure have a way with words.” You say as you both giggled and he kissed your forehead.

“I think I might love you too. But it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this way.”

“I can show you how to love me.” And with those words he had successfully gotten into your heart.
