I’m here and alive but I got bored and here is something I remembered and did a little research on and I can say that in Jeditavious Octavius is the top, at least 99% of the time.

Ok, so in Rome it was socially acceptable and expected for freeborn men in Rome to engage in sex, ok so Octavius being Gay/Bi is 100% plausible and can be cannon and be historically accurate (yes I know he married women but shush!)

But it was only acceptable if you took the penetrative Role.

Meaning Octavius possibly isn’t very comfortable or willing to be a bottom, unless he and Jed ‘fight’ for it or he trusts Jed to the point he would be willing to be ‘lower’ seeing as he is a general/emperor and would see himself as being dominant and this can go either one of two ways, he tells Jed about this and Jed is cool with it or he doesn’t and Jed doesn’t know and he wonders why Octavius acts weird whenever he tries to be intimate with the other and he’s the dominant one.
