Plan B producers Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner, who worked with Chalamet on Beautiful Boy and The King, have a unique, rolling conversation with him about film and music and books, with references that range to the philosophical. “I think there’s a dimension of him that maybe not everybody would know necessarily,” Kleiner said, “where he just has this really wide wingspan in terms of what he’s taking in from the world around him and how that factors into what he feels he should be doing with his time.” These periods between films were historically the intervals that Chalamet said he would sometimes get “existential”—for better or worse. “Restlessness can be a pejorative term, but I mean it in a good way,” Kleiner said. “There’s a searching, a seeking.” Even early in his career, Chalamet seemed to exact total control when he was working on a film and an evolving sense of control when he was not. Those weeks on the road with Derek, those were good, restless weeks of searching, seeking.
“It’s something I think about a lot with Dylan,” Chalamet said, “that life rhythms are different. When you’re raised in the city, going stir-crazy during the pandemic, your life rhythm becomes agitated. And driving through the middle of the country listening to Townes Van Zandt, your life rhythm adjusts in a great way.”

Hi! About time I finally made an intro post, lol. My name's Adrien, I'm 23 and I use he/they pronouns.
This is a selfship sideblog! My main is @scorpiolight, so if you see likes or follows from that blog, hi! That's me ^_^
I try to keep stuff clean on here (I have another sideblog for all my more 18+ stuff), but I AM still an adult, and may occasionally talk about more adult topics. If you're not comfortable with that, I would recommend not following.
My current main interests are FNAF, DSAF, and Sonic! I'd love to make new friends in the selfship community!
PROSHIP PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT

Moonlight (2016, Barry Jenkins)
14/11/2023
Moonlight is a 2016 film written and directed by Barry Jenkins, based on the play In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue by Tarell Alvin McCraney.
The film was positively criticized and won numerous awards, including the Best Film Award from the National Society of Film Critics, the Golden Globe for Best Drama and three Oscars for Best supporting actor, for best non-original screenplay and for best film: it is the first LGBT-themed film to obtain this recognition (after Philadelphia), as well as the first with a cast entirely made up of African Americans, and the second for the highest grossing low (behind The Hurt Locker which won in 2010).
Chiron is an African-American child originally from Liberty City, called "Little" by everyone. He and his mother live together in a Miami neighborhood marked by drugs and violence.
As an adult Chiron becomes a drug dealer in a bad neighborhood of Atlanta and there he tries to live on his own, armed with his faithful revolver.
In 2003, Tarell Alvin McCraney wrote a semi-autobiographical play, In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue, partly to deal with the death of his AIDS-stricken mother.
After the release of his first film, Medicine for Melancholy in 2008, Barry Jenkins wrote several screenplays, none of which went into production. He and producer Romanski began brainstorming sessions via video chat twice a month about his projects, and shortly thereafter Jenkins began work on the script for McCraney, which he learned about through Borscht's Miami arts collective. After consulting with McCraney, Jenkins wrote the first draft of the film during a month-long stay in Brussels.
Jenkins sought financing for the film throughout 2013, finding success after sharing the script with Plan B Entertainment executives at that year's Telluride Film Festival. Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner became producers of the film, while A24 undertook to finance it and handle worldwide distribution, which also marked the company's first production.
The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and subsequently at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, and at the New York Film Festival in October.
The film was chosen as the opening film of the 2016 Rome Film Festival. Its first television appearance took place on 4 March 2018 on Sky Cinema with the title Moonlight - Tre storie di una vita.
On the aggregator Rotten Tomatoes the film receives 98% of positive professional reviews with an average rating of 9.00 out of 10 based on 384 critics, while on Metacritic it obtains a score of 99 out of 100 based on 53 criticism.

World War Z will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on July 18 via Scream Factory.  The 2012 action-horror film is based on the 2006 novel by Max Brooks.
Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) directs from a script by Matthew Michael Carnahan (Deepwater Horizon), Drew Goddard (Cloverfield), and Damon Lindelof (Lost). Brad Ptit stars with Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Ian Bryce.
The three-disc set includes both the theatrical and unrated cuts. Special features will be announced at a later date.
When former U.N. investigator Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) and his family get stuck in urban gridlock, he senses that it's no ordinary traffic jam. His suspicions are confirmed when, suddenly, the city erupts into chaos. A lethal virus, spread through a single bite, is turning healthy people into something vicious, unthinking, and feral. As the pandemic threatens to consume humanity, Gerry leads a worldwide search to find the source of the infection and, with luck, a way to halt its spread.
Pre-order World War Z.

Some Oscar predictions for fun: in bold is what I think the Academy will pick. In italics is what I'd pick. If I leave italics off, I have no opinion or I don't think any of the nominees were that great. If I cross them out, I'm wondering why they were mentioned in the first place (Top Gun? Avatar? Really?).

Reblogged with the actual winners.
The only big surprise was Jamie Lee Curtis, but I guess they just had to give it to a white chick instead of Angela Bassett who has been shut out of a win for like, 30 years.
And Jimmy Kimmel can keep his day job. The Will Smith jokes were tasteless and too much tonight underlined all the racist/anti-Black sentiment out there (wasn't helped by that Entertainment Weekly set of anonymous interviews this past week).
But EEAAO making a clean sweep? Outstanding.

Will sagen: Nicht giftig.
Tumblr media
Kurkumawurzeln halten Schädlinge fern, etc, was zu funktionieren scheint.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
