No, these ladies aren’t sisters, but they’ve got a lot in common (besides devilish grins). You almost feel bad for Harley Quinn sometimes. She lost her way while she was enthralled with the Joker in that definitely unhealthy love-hate relationship. Along the way she was resourceful, picking up mind games, fighting ability, and a certain unpredictable nature.
Meanwhile, Cruella Deville rose up from humble beginnings to overtake a fashion empire. Not a traditional fighter, Cruella showed that she is scrappy and isn’t afraid to take a violent turn when she feels it’s needed.
Cruella has a cane while Harley has her bat (and usually some guns, a glitter bomb, smoke bombs, and maybe a few knives). Harley wins the weapons contest, but if Cruella can throw Harley off her game, then the weapons may not matter much. Cruella would have to make it a hand-to-hand fight.
Harley is unpredictable, but Cruella is observant. She’s good at reading people. She also makes long-term plans. Harley isn’t stupid, but Cruella may outshine Harley when it comes to smarts.
Still, Harley is too agile, rough, and tough to lose. She’ll beat up Cruella, even this younger version of her.
Winner: Harley Quinn

Here's a fun one! Mr. 007 himself, James Bond, against Indiana Jones. Now, Indy is no secret agent. He's a professor and archeologist, but he has a combat background as an Officer in the U.S. Army. He's almost a professional adventurer who is a jack of all trades, really. He can shoot a gun, crack a whip, run quickly, outrun enemies in car chases, and his punch packs a wallop! This professor is no slouch when it comes to getting himself out of sticky situations. Still, James Bond is a secret agent. An actual agent who has also dealt with his fair share of compromising situations. I'd say he's at least as trained as Indiana Jones when it comes to skill. Both are quick to improvise, they're smart, and they have no problems getting into a fight if needed. I think the difference here is resources and tricks. Indiana Jones may look more unassuming, which could catch Bond off-guard, but when Bond gets a feel for the fight, he'll use his vast variety of weapons and tricks to win the fight. Winner: James Bond (sorry Indy ... it was a close call)

On paper, this may seem one-sided. The only female that regularly hangs with the Avengers ends up going against Joker's girlfriend? Well, when you compare the cinematic versions of these characters, it's a closer match than one may think.
Black Widow is ... Black Widow. Most people have seen her quick thinking, awesome athletics, advanced weaponry, and never-quit attitude. She's definitely a threat in any cinematic universe.
Meanwhile, Harley provides some comedic relief in the DCEU, but she also, especially after rewatching Birds of Prey, has a lot of skills. She's agile, smart, has an unruly edge to her, and is pretty tough. She, like the Widow, also thinks on her feet.
Hand to hand combat? Black Widow would probably win, though Harley would definitely land some shots. Weapons? Black Widow also wins, but, again, Harley throws Black Widow off her game with the bean bags full of glitter and wooden mallets. Street smarts? Eh. I'm no sure. Black Widow probably wins that, too, but not by much.
Overall, I guess we do have a winner, but it's a battle that would be very interesting with a lot of back and forth.
Winner: Black Widow

Here's a matchup of a couple of powerful sorcerers. Even though Zatanna started as an illusionist who didn't even know she had powers, she ended up being one of the most powerful entities in the DC universe. Zatanna often speaks her spells backwards to cast her magic. She's used to dealing with demons, creating energy blasts, and can go old school, fighting with her fists and feet. Over on Eternia, Evil-lyn is right up there with the Sorceress and Skeletor in terms of her magic. She's portrayed more inconsistently in the 1980s show, sometimes being defeated by simply putting a cape over her head or tying her up with vines. However, in each of the following series, Evil-lyn's powers are no laughing matter. She can use her magic staff to concentrate her power or disseminate magic blasts from her fingers, hand, or eyes. She can turn people into animals or objects, she can generate energy blasts, she can create storms, she can teleport, or she can disguise herself. In terms of combat, she's not bad. She's not some world-class martial artist, but she can tussle when required. She usually prefers using her magic, though. Comparing these two is a bit tough because of the various versions the two characters have existed as. I'm tempted to go with Zatanna, but I'll throw my money behind a win for Eternia's wicked witch in this case. Winner: Evil-lyn

Yelena Belova was one of the brightest parts of the latest MCU phase. How does the Black Widow's little 'sister' compare to the Black Canary's little sister, though? Sara Lance, as the White Canary in the CW and DC's Arrowverse, became a central character, maybe only behind the Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl in terms of importance. Whether she's part of the League of Shadows, fighting the League of Shadows, time-traveling, fighting aliens, or saving the universe, she's a formidable opponent. With her vast array of skills, her no-nonsense attitude, and her lack of remorse, she's dangerous. In terms of fighting, she is agile, quick, a master of martial arts, and can handle a variety of weaponry. Sara Lance isn't one to mess with. Then we get to Yelena. She's also quick, agile, trained in a variety of fighting styles, and has run into her fair share of encounters. She may not be used to dealing with metas, mutants, aliens, or eternals, but she's also very tough. I think that's probably the difference here. Although we've had multiple seasons of Sara Lance showing her skills, Yelena, in just one movie and part of a TV show, showed how tough she is. She, like Lance, was filled with rage. She's been through a lot. That stays with her when she fights. Lance has let go of a lot of that. In turn, I think she let go of some of her edge, too. Winner: Yelena

Electro is a Spider-Man villain who has no fear of electricity because it runs straight through him. He can control it and use it as a weapon — a very painful weapon.
That being said, Billy Batson uses electricity to transform into his superhero role, too. After that, he can also control electricity, but I’m not sure if his control lasts as long (or is as powerful) as Electro.
Let’s say that Electro is more powerful when it comes to lightning and electricity. Shazam would still be able to take Electro’s best shots and recover from them. Even if he gets knocked down, Electro’s jolts won’t knock him out for good.
So, this battle comes down to the extras. Electro can’t fly, but he can use his control of electricity to levitate and launch himself off the ground.
Still, even with that power, Shazam has super strength and actual ability to fly. Plus, he’s potentially quicker than Electro. He may be shocked at the fight Electro puts up, but I think Captain Marvel will take this in the end.
Winner: Shazam

This seems like a mismatch, but is it? The xenomorph is one of the most terrifying aliens there is. With acid for blood, a stinger tail, quick reflexes, sharp claws, a terrifying face, and the want to reproduce with females, the xenomorph is not to be taken lightly, even for a super-powered mutant.
Rogue is stronger than the xenomorph, that’s for sure. But is she ready for it? It can wrap it’s tail around her neck, while clasping her arms with its long limbs. Rogue would break free, but this alien foe is’t built like Gladiator. It’s built long, nimble, and could be hard to get a hold of.
Rogue could absorb its’ energy, but that could be worse off for Rogue. Would she be linked to the xenomorph hive? Would she feel and see things she’s not prepared for? I think Rogue has to rely on her smarts, strength, flight, and quickness to put this evil alien down.
She could do it, but it won’t be that easy.
Winner: Rogue
Do you think Rogue can defeat the Xenomorph?

It’s Star Wars vs Star Trek today!
I’m not sure quite how strong Spock is in the Kelvin timeline, but we know Khan has more strength than a normal human, and Spock was taking it to Khan.
Granted, Spock was filled with rage at the time. Normally he isn’t. That could be a problem for him here.
Chewbacca, even when he’s not angry, has the size advantage, probably the strength advantage, weapons, sharp teeth, and claws.
That’s going to be a lot for Spock to overcome, but he is very intelligent. Not that Chewie isn’t smart, but Spock is next level smart, so it’s possible he could outsmart him, outmaneuver him, and end up winning this fight.
Spock does have that Vulcan mind trick, too, so between his intelligence and some of his Vulcan powers, maybe he dos stand a chance.
Winner: Spock

The Mandalorian is formidable, but how would he do against a rock hard Thing? This member of the Fantastic Four would surely give the beskar armor a run for its money!
Would The Thing be able to actually dent some of that armor? I think it’s quite possible. Of course, Mando is more than just a suit. He’s got gadgets galore. From his rocket boosters to a blaster to missiles. I’m not sure The Thing is agile enough, quick enough, or smart enough to avoid some of those attacks. Thankfully for him, he is probably durable to withstand most of The Mandalorian’s onslaught.
The Thing isn’t the biggest challenge The Mandalorian has faced, but The Thing isn’t some kind of large beast. He’s got human intelligence on his side. The x-factor here, and probably the deciding factor, is Grogu. He’s still developing his skills, but Grogu has shown that he’ll stick up for his friend when he can.
The limited Jedi skills and a bunch of weaponized technology will be too much for The Thing to take.
Winner: The Mandalorian and Grogu
Who are you picking here?

Here’s a match I only recently thought of. Black Panther against Darth Maul. Kind of polar opposites, but also fairly evenly matched.
T’Challa has his Black Panther suit, which provides some protection. It also offers valuable weapons in the form of 10 razor-sharp claws. And then 10 more on his feet.
Besides that, the Black Panther is agile, quick, and has superhuman strength. How does that stack up against someone from the Star Wars universe, though?
Darth Maul has his double light saber, which may be his greatest weapon. However, he also has rage, great leaping and gymnastic ability, and the willingness to do whatever it takes to accomplish his task (in this case, win).
T’Challa would have to avoid getting sliced by the lightsaber, but Darth Maul will have to avoid getting torn into with the Panther’s claws, too.
It could go either way here. Darth Maul would have to be disarmed to lose, but it’s possible that T’Challa could do that. Once that happens, despite his fighting ability, I think Darth Maul would lose.
Winner: The Black Panther
What do you think? Could T’Challa pull this off?

Two big bads here! Steppenwolf won't go down as one of the greatest movie villains of all time, but he was a formidable enough opponent to give the Justice League something to reckon with.
Darth Vader, on the other hand, has the whole hero-turned villain-turned hero again thing going on. He is complicated, to say the least. He's also very powerful. He didn't display the tricks and sheer force that Kylo Ren or Rey displayed, but he let Obi Wan Kenobi feel his might more than once.
Since this is an analysis of how an actual fight would go (and not debating character legacy), it seems that Steppenwolf has the advantage. He's got super strength and thick armor covering his entire body.
Sure, Sups made quick work of him, but that was Superman. Steppenwolf battled the Amazons, took on Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash at the same time. I guess Flash was usually distracted with saving other people, but still, Steppenwolf was battling an entire group of superheroes.
Darth Vader did kill a bunch of younglings, but he didn't battle multiple Jedi at once. He couldn't even beat Obi-Wan or Luke (maybe he didn't want to beat Luke) or Darth Sidious. Vader isn't weak, but he's at his best advantage when he's facing people who are levels beneath him. If someone has equal or greater powers, his odds aren't so good.
Winner: Steppenwolf (the Vader fans aren't going to like that decision)

Kingo is an Eternal, but he was kind of .... underwhelming. Sure, he provided some good comedy, but in terms of fighting? Shooting lasers out of his fingers is OK, but not terribly impressive.
Spector and Grant, as the Avatar of Khonshu, are covered in the suit of armor. He, or they, have superhuman agility, speed, and durability as well.
Moon Knight has considerable strength, too. Moon Knight can dent the bumper of a car just by squeezing too hard. That's probably does't compare to Kingo, who, I assume, has greater strength than that.
Moon Knight has crescent blades and trucheons, but Kingo has his finger blasters. As boring as they are compared to other Eternals' powers, they are effective.
I think Moon Knight is more skilled here, but is he tough enough? I don't think he has the overall ability to outmatch Kingo's sheer strength and Eternal power.
Perhaps I'm underestimating Moon Knight here, but, in the MCU, an Eternal is hard to defeat, even if he simply shoots blasts from his fingers.
Winner: Kingo

Well this battle is enough to give someone nightmares. The Xenomorph is one of the best scariest villains there is. Meanwhile, Darth Maul left a big impression despite minimal big screen time.
Darth Maul has Sith powers, a double lightsaber, and a menacing presence. However, the Xenomorph has claws, acid drool, and a stinger tail, and completely animalistic, evil intentions.
If it were just fighting, I think the Xenomorph could take Darth Maul, but you add in Sith powers and a lightsaber? Darth Maul can slice this alien up.
Winner: Darth Maul

The two definitive guardians of their planets. Captain America isn't as powerful as Thor and he doesn't have the armor of Iron Man and he doesn't have the almost invincibility of Hulk, but he is almost the leader of the Avengers. Meanwhile, He-Man guides the Masters of the Universe to victory over Skeletor and his army of evil warriors. Who wins a one-on-one fight though? Captain America is strong, durable, and talented when it comes to combat. I'd say that Captain America is quicker than He-Man and the better actual fighter. He-Man has the power advantage, though. It's like Captain America going up against Thor or Hulk. The power can't be matched. That's why Cap would need to strike first, quickly, and often. Even then, all it should take is a couple of punches for He-Man to knock Steve Rogers off his feet. He-Man can create whirlwinds with his sword or his body, his power sword could definitely counteract Captain America's shield, and He-Man has the lung capacity to create winds that are powerful enough to knock someone down. Though Captain America will get his shots in, I don't think he can outmatch He-Man's pure power advantage. Winner: He-Man

Two somewhat underrated characters are up today. Nightwing is usually taking a backseat to Batman, other versions of Robin, Superman, or various other heroes in the DC universe. Sure, he's a big deal with some of the newer members of the Justice League, the Young Justice League, or Teen Titans, but Dick Grayson is further down the list when it comes to the big leagues.
Gambit kind of has that role in the X-Men, too. Storm and Cyclops are leaders. Wolverine and Jean usually take up more attention. Beast has intelligence, Jubilee is youthful, and Rogue is the most powerful of the bunch. That leaves Gambit as somewhat of a loner. He's usually a reliable part of the team, but he's also overlooked. Of course, Gambit has his mutant ability to charge kinetic energy. That's one of his best advantages in any fight. He's also a skilled combatant, though. He knows how to use a bō staff, he can flip and kick and jump, and he's certainly not afraid to jump into the fray of things. Despite Gambit's underestimated fighting skills, Nightwing probably is the more skilled fighter of the two. Before he was even known as Robin, Nightwing was an acrobat. He has agility, he's developed a more muscular form as he's grown older, and he had one of the best trainers around with Batman.
The one thing Nightwing doesn't have? Mutant powers. I don't know that Gambit's energy-charged playing cards are going to be enough to stop Nightwing. Then again, Gambit just prefers to charge playing cards. He could charge other objects, too. That could provide quite a threat to Nightwing.
Still, Nightwing is quick. He's probably very evenly matched in terms of strength and size and speed, but Nightwing could have a slight edge in some of those areas.
I think that could be enough to get him the victory. Winner: Nightwing What do you think? Is that the right decision?

The Wasp is quick, can shrink or grow, and can fly. She's formidable for most people, but the Lizard is one Marvel character who is vicious. He's got claws, he seems somewhat indestructible, and he's quick as well.
The Lizard can climb, has a great amount of strength, and is just plain scary! The Wasp hasn't grown to an enormous size in the MCU, but I'm assuming she could. That being said, she would likely run into the same issues as Ant-Man when he uses that power. That means it would be difficult for The Wasp to remain in a supersized state for a long period of time.
It may take just a few minutes to grow and stomp on The Lizard like a bug, but could she move quickly enough to stomp on him at that size? That's debatable.
I think this battle could go either way. The Wasp's flight and rapid-fire attacks certainly help her, but she is outmatched in terms of power and ferociousness here. I'm leaning towards the villain in this battle.
Winner: The Lizard
