The December Coup

December 1, 1989

The December Coup was the biggest coup to ever hit the Republic of the Philippines. Around 3,000 elite Philippine Marines, Scout Rangers, and other Armed Forces personnel took part in the coup that attempted to overthrow the administration at the time. In the initial day of the coup, rebel forces not only managed to secure armor and groudn attack aircraft, but also captured important military facilities. The National Capital Region and many of the surrounding areas thus became a battlefield for several days, as loyalist soldiers held their ground against the rebelious troops. In the end, government forces won, but not after heavy casualties and losses in equipment.

Believe it or not I had this on the wall of my room at college. I think it confused my first year room mate (Who I did NOT get along with for SO many reasons) who was convinced I was gay*.

I also got it because it had that badass Emma in classic outfit AND the Hellions AND I loved Mary Wilshire's art style.

I think a lot abt if sky high was a tv show a lot. I also think abt that same thing but way back when it was the Commander and All-American Boy.

And I thought abt an episode where the Commander gets kidnapped or captured or whatever n it's up to jetstream and all american boy to save the day and it's all just johnathan and Josie fighting crime together n it's that unrequited like. "they've got some really sweet dynamics but we all know its not gonna happen. They both know it's not gonna happen." You get it. Wah.

Mod: My birthday/Christmas present from my boyfriend @askalbinopie Mod finally came in today (a week before my birthday no less) and she is…massive!

When I made JetStream in 2014 I always dreamed of getting a plush of her but I never truly thought it would happen let alone one this big! She is so soft too, the artist did a great job with her hair (since it makes no real sense in 3D) and every other part as well haha!
