Obviously i used Goblin's poster as reference. But well, also, because the love story of Eun Tak and Kim Shin (Goblin) is fated and fits the red thread/ string of fate very well.
Ohh and i will also be doing a future prompt with Sunny and Wang Yeo (Grim Reaper) as reference. Let's just hope i still have time by then. 😆😆🤩
#if Ji Eun-Tak had every nickel for witnessing a loved one disappear before her eyes, she would have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice inspo
the irony of Goblin thinking his immortality will eventually end and Eun Tak would have forgotten and moved on from him and lived her life when in reality he's the one that will have to live without her
One of my favourite scenes. Kim Shin’s vulnerable side.
Ji Eun Tak: “So, did you even love me? No? Not at all?”
Kim Shin: “I’m scared. I’m so scared. So I’d like it if you told me... that you still need me. I’d like it if you told me to love you. I’d like it if you give me permission to have an excuse like that. And I’d like it if I could use that as an excuse to continue living on... together with you.”
This “Dokkaebi”, this powerful God who can affect the weather, the moon, make flowers bloom, can disrupt death, conjure gold from nothing, is perhaps feeling scared for the first time in over 900 years.
IMO the most underrated relationship in Goblin is Ji Eun Tak and the Reaper. Like. He’s wanted her dead since she was nine. She’s the only one who bothers to help him with the housework. They need to ask each other for love advice when Sunny is inexplicable and the Goblin acts like a little shit. Tae Hee Oppa mistakes him for her dad. He watches over her when she no longer remembers. They understand the dead. They know what it’s like being saddled with a fate they don’t know what to do with. They both love the Goblin. They both love Sunny. She goes from seeing him as an enemy to becoming his “Special Case.” He’s the one who collects her at the end. They're as bound together as any other pairing in this show, not because of their past lives or because of God but because of how they choose to be in each other's lives in the present. UNDERRATED I TELL YOU.
