So the obvious type for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond is Steel, with a starter, a legendary, and a breakout that got into Smash all sharing the type. But… there’s not much else beyond that. So I got some help from the past (as well as a mythical I forgot I’d get).
(Oh, and I didn’t play this for two days nonstop without sleeping, don’t worry. I’ve been hopping between this and finishing things up in Pokémon Legends: Arceus ever since I beat Volo.)
I have no idea where to post this cuz I’m not in any Pokémon Discords or anything like that so I’ll see if I can get a response here (No problem if I can’t) but is anyone willing to trade me a Jirachi for my shiny celebi? I’ll have to trade from SWSH because that’s where it is (or Home if there’s a way to do that), I have a Jirachi plush cuz it’s one of my favorites and I just wanted him in game lmao, and if your able/want to trade would you be willing to nickname it Sriracha? (Yes I’m aware it’s an odd name buts that’s what the plush is named) if not that’s totally fine I just know your not able to name them once you trade them, it won’t let me name the celebi unfortunately.
watched a video abt how to complete the national dex in ruby and sapphire nowadays, and how u basically need every gen 3 game to do so?? which i p much already knew 😅
and it makes me rly wish i hadn't deleted my original ruby save file from 2003, where as a kid i legitimately did p much that and nearly completed the entire dex, apart from mew and deoxys 🙁
ok was gonna bitch abt bdsp but this is an issue in the originals too apparently? so just talking abt sinnoh overall ig but why are the obedience level caps so weird in sinnoh. all traded pokemon will disobey you after level ten until eterna city which is like 1 or 2 hours into the game and your pokemon are literally expected to get to level 20 at that point, and even then its only up to level 30? and you have to grab two more badges even though there’s a HUGE amount of time between gardenia and maylene/crasher wake. and then in the remakes you have the exp share that you cant turn off, which means that if you want to use your traded pokemon, you have to box it most of the time to make sure it stays below the cap
i thought the point of the level cap was to keep people from just trading in a level 100 mewtwo and sweeping everything from the get go, not throw a fit that i bothered to trade at all.
a person messaged me the other day asking if they could offer items in exchange for one of my Jirachi dragons, so I wound up writing up a full list of items that I'm interested in! if you see one of my hatchlings you'd really like and you'd be willing to trade any of those items (up to a value equivalent to the dragon's listed price at the time) then feel free to offer them!
Playing more of Platinum. Eevee evolves into Espeon despite my plans for having a Flareon, nbd. Didn't check TM learnpool and saved after the evolution. Espeon can only learn 1 fire move, Sunny Day, and of course it's support. I'm not really sure how to proceed but fuck it, half Psychic team.
