La storia segue Toru Muhyo, un giovane prodigio esperto nelle leggi magiche e il suo assistente, Jiro Kusano. I due indagano su vari casi sovrannaturali, riportando l’ordine e dispensando giustizia.
L’opera di Nishi è stata pubblicata su Weekly Shounen Jump dal 2004 al 2008 e raccolta in 18 volumi. Da Shueisha è edito anche un adattamento a romanzo in due volumi scritto da Saya Amou, pubblicato fra il 2007 e il 2008. Nella primavera del 2018 è stato lanciato un sequel del manga su Shonen Jump+, che riprende la storia dopo qualche anno dalle vicende precedenti e vede Muhyo e i suoi amici un po’ più cresciuti.
