Speaking as someone who lives with mental illness, who struggled and suffered for decades with undiagnosed and unacknowledged  CPTSD, with a side of Depression and Generalized Anxiety, (who continues to struggle and live with it) I know how difficult and scary a mental health crisis can be.
I also know how vicious and ruthless and cruel the political world is.
So I am incredibly grateful to Senator Fetterman for getting mental health care without shame or apology. His courage saved lives. There are people today and in the coming days who are willing to seek mental health care, because he spoke openly and without shame about his own mental health.
Depression and mental illness affects EVERYONE, and when people who have enormous public profiles speak about their experiences, it chips away at the stigma that has claimed too many lives.
I am not a United States Senator, but I know this is absolutely true, because people have told me that my public journey to care for my mental health and heal my trauma gave them what they needed to make the appointment and begin their own journey.
My heart is with Senator Fetterman and his family. I wish them all the best. I know how tough this is. How scary it can be. How Depression will see the struggle and just pour lie after lie after lie over you, trying its best to make you believe you deserve or are responsible for it.
All of that is bullshit. Depression lies.
I want to remind anyone who is struggling with their mental health, who is just *so tired* of feeling all the things Depression and its buddies try to drown us with that IT IS OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY. It's not shameful or weak to ask for help. It's courageous, and you deserve to be helped by people who have dedicated their lives to helping us get better. If you or someone you know is struggling, please know that help is available when you're ready. If you are in the United States, you can dial 988 from any phone to speak with a counselor who is ready for you.

I broke into John Fetterman's house and stole all his hoodies with a ransom note saying he could have them back after regulating mobile game ads.

I used to think John Fetterman was a reasonably chill, progressive dude for a Senator. Now he's showing his true colors. Disgusting man cheering on genocide at a fucking vigil.

What a horrific thing to do... seeing all these Senators/representatives across party lines these past few months be raging genocidal apologists and aggressively censuring the few politicians who are advocating for a ceasefire is just beyond disturbing. Waving a settler-colonial flag on behalf of the IOF -who has been responsible for decades of mass displacement, apartheid, torture, and the systematic murders of Palestinian people -and now the mass acceleration of ethnic cleansing is just horrifying. Nearly 30,000 Palestinian people have been killed and you do this... in another dimension apparently -people like this would be losing their jobs.

It is so funny how Zionists just are refusing to operate in the realm of reality and expect people to take them seriously or respect them

Republican patriarchy will never respect, nor trust, women.
Conservative men project betrayal as they vote for men with no loyaty, no honor, no integrity.

"Republicans want to give a work requirement for SNAP. A hungry family has to have these kinds of penalties," said Fetterman.
SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Republicans want to make it even harder than it already is to access life-saving programs like SNAP and Medicaid, as a part of their “debt ceiling” “negotiations,” and their never ending attempts to to gut the social safety net, and their never ending assault on poor people.
"Shouldn't you have a working requirement after we bail out your bank with billions?" Fetterman asked Gregory Becker (a registered Republican), the former Silicon Valley Bank executive.
Tumblr media
Other than blaming the media, customers and anyone except SVB Bank, Becker did not have a good answer.
Tumblr media
It’s worth noting that
A) Becker dumped nearly 12,500 shares for more than $3.5 million on Feb. 27, the same day that Chief Financial Officer Daniel Beck unloaded $575,180 worth of company stock, and many SVB executives received exorbitant bonuses just hours before the bank run.
And B) Greg Becker lobbied the federal government to relax Dodd-Frank provisions on regional banks, and then Trump did precisely that.
