Joy is pregnant with #3

Funny thing Joy's announcement made me think of:

-She and I are about a month apart in age

-We got married a week apart from each other

-We both had sons in 2018

-We both had daughters in 2020

- I'm expecting baby #3 in December, so it only makes sense she'd be expecting #3 soon

2022 Duggar Predictions Review

Michelle has been pretty quiet this year but the reason for this doesn't seem to have been leaked. Unfortunately no holiday to the clink for Jim Bob.

Thankfully Josh was sentenced to 12 years in jail with all appeals so far rejected. Anna has been very quiet, apart from hinting that there is more to the story (there isn't).

Another quiet year and no courtship for Jana.

We did get a pregnancy announcement (in late Spring, not summer), the baby was indeed a boy and Charlie arrived in September. There have been more trips this year to 'help' people around the world, including Ukraine.

Jill and Derick welcomed a baby boy, Frederick in July. Thankfully I was right and they opted for a planned c-section. Jill has been seen with the family but I don't think it's been at the TTH. Derick passed the bar and is now an attorney in Oklahoma and Arkansas. There haven't been hints of changing views as of yet but hopefully soon. No signs of starting school either but I think they will enrol the boys when they find the perfect school.

No dog and no pregnancy announcement. Lots of speculation though, especially recently.

They are releasing another book, Becoming Free Indeed, in January. Jinger and Jeremy are also moved house, albeit still in LA. No pregnancy announcement. Jeremy Vuolo is still Jeremy Vuolo's biggest fan. No trip to Arkansas but various family members have been to see them.

No pregnancy announcement as pretty much all Duggars are staying out of the limelight. Joe and Kendra did welcome another baby this year, confirmed through fine tuned snarking skills, and it's looking increasingly likely that it's a boy. No house move as far as we know.

Josiah and Lauren did welcome their second child, a girl named Daisy. It was confirmed through the church's Facebook page. Daisy is estimated to have been born in March.

I was off - but only by a few months. Joy is pregnant with her third child, a boy and due in May.

Indeed we did have the sex reveal in January. Baby Truett was born in May. Katey is currently pregnant with her second child, a girl named Nora Kate, and due in May. No attempts at politics. I guess it isn't the right time after recent events.

We still don't have confirmation on when they got engaged but they announced they were on 6th January. They married on 26th March, eight days before Jed and Katey's first anniversary. They didn't leave Arkansas and live in an RV. They are expecting to welcome their baby girl any day now.

It's been pretty quiet from everyone else, although whispers about courtships have circled.

Duggar Family Christmas Live Blog

Jed! posted a video of the Duggar Christmas. Here are my thoughts/what happens as I watch (so nobody else has to watch it).

- Jed and Katey have matching jammies. They all slept until 7:30

- Truett has massive eyes

- they started the morning reading the Bible. The baby was also expected to sit and listen to his father read the Bible in the most boring, nasaly voice possible.

- they claim it was a white Christmas, but I see less than a cm of snow?

- Jed! has the most annoying voice I’ve ever heard. 100% baby talk all the time. Just stop. Please. I wanted to rip my ears off. I am also pretty sure they didn’t call Truett by his name the entire video.

- Truett is more interested in the boxes and wrapping paper than the toys his parents bought. Until food comes out. Then he wants all the solid foods. He literally ignores his mother reading The Gospel in favour of snacks.

- They head to the big house with the obnoxiously big tree. Anna is there! Her smallest one is cruising. I don’t see Anna interacting with any of the other siblings.

- No sign of Jessa or Jill. We already know Joy was planning on spending Christmas away from the big house. Did not see Kendra/Joe either.

- They have a white bouncy house with white balls set up where they used to have a pool table. This actually looks like fun and where I would probably spend my day.

- MACK WAS IN PANTS. I REPEAT, MACK WAS IN PANTS IN THE BIG HOUSE!!!

Sighted: Anna, Jana, John/Abbie, Jed, Jeremiah, Josiah (but no Lauren?), some of the lost boys, and all the little girls.

Missing: firstborn, Jill-Joseph, Justin.

I saw in a comment in the post about Hannah’s due date that Hannah might beat the 273 PP, which couple has a 237 PP?

Actually, nobody has a 273–Day Procreative Pace (PP). (Thank God!) What I think you’re referring to is a 273–Day Marriage–to–Firstborn Spacing, the current Duggar record. It’s actually a jointly–held record by Joy–Anna Forsyth and Kendra Duggar. Both had a baby on Day 273 of their marriage.

Jeremiah + Hannah married on March 26, 2022. If their Firstborn arrives on January 1, 2023, that will give them a 281–Day Firstborn Spacing. The Predictor thinks, based on Delivery vs. Due Date Data, that their baby will arrive on December 30 (Duggar Data) or January 2 (Wissmann Data), so that would be a Firstborn Spacing of 279 Days or 282 Days, respectively. If she’s due January 1, 2023, Hannah would “tie” with Joy and Kendra if she delivers on Christmas Eve (8 Days Early). She will set a new record if she delivers on December 23rd, or before. Delivering that early is 1 SD from the Duggar Mean and 1.1 SDs from the Wissmann Mean. Statistically speaking, both are well within “normal” limits.

2022 Q2 Fundie Happenings

@duggardata has returned! This post was originally born out of their absence... but I got such a positive response on the last one, I'm gonna keep it up.

What’s been happening in fundieland for the last 3 months? Here’s a list of notable events and funny things. Feel free to add anything that I’ve missed. It's roughly in chronological order.

Derick Dillard passes the Arkansas bar and gets a job. Jill + Derick are moving.

Jackson Duggar goes to ALERT.

Nathan + Nurie announce Baby #2. N2 will be 13 months younger than Nehemiah. It’s not quite as fast as JRod’s rate, but it’s close. (I was really rooting for Nurie to take after the Keller women and have ~2 years between kids. But I’m also super curious to see how this name scheme plays out. I’m a sucker for ridiculous baby names.)

Jill Rodrigues wishes Janessa a happy 4th birthday in the saddest ever birthday post--by asking everyone to pray that she gets pregnant again.

Gabby Patton, friend of the Duggars, has a vow renewal after 5 1/2 years of marriage. Her bridesmaids include Joy-Anna, Abbie, and Anna Duggar. As more photos of the renewal come out, pregnancy speculation ensues. 

Esther Bates is spotted in a borrowed “Mama” t-shirt. Speculation ensues.

Carlin + Evan go one (1) day without posting on social, and people start checking in to make sure nothing bad happened.

Jedidiah + Katey welcome Truett Oliver Duggar, the first announced boy grandDuggar in several years. However, the fact that nobody has made a big deal about him being a boy only fuels the speculation that Siren had a son.

Esther + John Shrader announce Shrader-Keller #13. They were overdue for a pregnancy. I suspect this will be their last. (I'm hoping for a girl because I'm really digging their theme of using Greek virtue names. It’s wacky.)

The Mother's Day Babygeddon. Tori + Bobby, Nathan + Esther, and John David + Abbie announce pregnancies on Mother's Day.

Carver Bowers is spotted hanging out with Johannah Duggar yet again. Speculation ensues, and I hate it, because she’s a minor.

Lawson + Tiffany get married. They’ve been trying so hard to make a spectacle out of their relationship for social media that I seriously considered not including it in the list, just to be contrary. JD + Abbie, Joy, plus the unmarried adult Duggar kids, are seen in Cali for the wedding. 

Josh Duggar’s sentencing briefs are filed, including several letters written on his behalf by family and friends. Michelle Duggar dots the i in her name with a heart in her signature.

Josh Duggar is sentenced to 151 months in prison.

Carlin Stewart has a mystery illness that causes seizures or similarly scary episodes. Carlin + Evan are in a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't situation where they get lambasted for posting about her illness, but people also want the deets.

Nathan + Nurie’s baby #2 is a boy! Jill posts about how Kaylee + Jonathan are happy because they hope to have the first girl (after they’re married). 

Joe + Kendra possibly spotted in public with a newborn. Speculation ensues.

Nathan + Esther are having a girl named Kenna Joy.

Josiah + Lauren are spotted at church, possibly with a baby carrier in front of them, but it’s hard to tell. Speculation ensues.

Anna Duggar posts on Instagram that she’s road tripping “to see her bestie,” presumably Josh at his new prison. It’s the 14-year anniversary of her engagement to Josh. The whole thing is a little too sad to be snarkable (in this blogger’s opinion, anyway).

Josh Duggar is transferred to federal prison.

David + Hannah (Reber) Keller announce their first pregnancy.

Mitchel + Bryn Bontrager have their third baby, Brynleigh Noelle. I cannot overstate how much I hate this name.

Jill Rodrigues attends a Plexus convention and gives us a deluge of social media posts about it.

What’s with the Duggar social media hiatus?

Not all of them are abstaining, of course. Jessa, Jill, Jana, Jinger, Jed and Jer still seem pretty active. Joy, Claire, Justin, and Abbie seem to post once in a while, though less than before. It’s Lauren and Kendra (well, and Anna) that seem to have gone dark.

I wonder if this absence is permanent or if Kendra, Lauren, and Anna are just biding their time until Josh is sentenced. I’m especially curious since I think Lauren and Kendra are both either pregnant or recently postpartum.

Hearing their family updates is interesting from a data point of view, but it would probably be better for their families if they lived more private lives. Honestly, less attention might also mean they (particularly Kendra) feel pressure to have literally as many children as possible.

I guess we will see!
