Minato’s 25th Birthday || No Longer Accepting (because I’m slow AF OTL)

@tantalizingmuses​​ sent:  There were three gifts, each wrapped decently well from their receivers, awaiting Minato inside of his apartment. Of course, the names Akihiko, Shinjiro, and Junpei were shown as the givers and each had gone out and gotten something for him. Akihiko's gift was filled with a yearly membership to a local gym, just so he could keep himself in shape, as well as a monthly membership to try different types of protein. Because it's Akihiko. Shinjiro's present was simple: a cookbook, that when flipped at the end, has a handful of empty pages so he could write down anything he made and how it was made, as well as a flip notebook of all the recipes he made in the dorm with and without Fuuka.

And Junpei's surprise... ...also contained a gift from Chidori . Inside was a drawing of Minato when he was on his paranormal activity show, focused on the fierceness of his eyes, but the tenderness and softness of his face. Junpei's own gift was a bit more...personal. They were front row seats to Minato's favorite band, including VIP access and photos and autographs, the works! It was a gift for the both of them, not until the end of the year however, but totally worth the wait.

After a day full of mostly interviews, Minato got home just after six pm. The people at the television network backed by his agent, made sure that he didn’t have a lot of work on his birthday, as each of his previous birthdays he had an investigation to do before being able to relax and actually enjoy his birthday for a change, though he wasn’t exactly sure what he’d do. Most birthdays, he’d just sit in his hotel room, order a lot of room service and maybe have a cup of sake or two. He wasn’t really much of a drinker, but he did occasionally enjoy a cold brewsky on special occasions, just not as much as people think someone with fame and fortune would drink.

Unlocking the door with a click, he enters his luxury apartment closing the door behind him and locking it. Hanging up his jacket on the coat rack, Minato is met with a large package with his name on it. 

[{ 🦋 }] - “Huh? What’s this?”

Curious, he cuts it open the box with a box cutter knife and the first thing he spots is three giftboxes with the senders names being three of his old friends from high school, including his best friend Junpei. The first one he opened was the gift from Akihiko, inside the box was a gym membership and a subscription to try other kinds of protein-infused products -- of course it was, what did he really expect from someone like Akihiko anyway.

While he did appreciate it, he didn’t think he’d really have time to go to the gym, but maybe he’d use it a few times since he did spent his money on it, though the time spent there would be limited due to his fluxuating work schedule, especially since his career involved traveling all over the world. Moving onto the second gift from Shinjiro which was a cookbook. Taking a quick skim through the book, he flipped through the pages of many recipe’s to find that near the end of the book, there was several blank which he knew was for writing down other recipes, something that he’d definitely make use of.

Turning his attention to the final gift from his best friend, he was surprised to see a second gift in the box next to Junpei’s. Right from the first glance of the other gift, he knew immediately from Chidori considering that it was a very detailed sketch of him, from the looks of the drawing, it was him during one of his investigations. Minato wasn’t expecting to have a gift from her in there, but the fact that she had taken time out of her day just to send him draw him and send it, he appreciated it. The bluenette investigator had received lots of fan art from his fans which were all amazing pieces in their own, but Chidori’s sketch easily stood out from the others with all the details she put into her drawings, he’d have to include her name in his thank you card along with Junpei’s.

Next to the sketch was a card inside an envelope, opening the seal, he read the card’s wording and read the comments added by Junpei wishing him a happy birthday and sending Chidori’s regards as well. Just below Junpei’s writing, were front row tickets to The Gazette’s show at the Tokyo dome, because the band was doing a world tour, the scheduled show wasn’t until the end of the year, but he knew that the wait for be very much worth it.

[{ 🦋 }] - “I better make sure I thank them all for these.” He says to himself, a smile on his face as he thought about his friends and how they took the time to think about him, even though everyone was busy with their own lives, they sent him gifts, and he was very thankful. Hopefully, everyone would be able to have a proper reunion very soon.

2. First up: @/KimKardashian in @/Versace at the 2018 #MetGala posing next to the Golden Sarcophagus of Nedjemankh. The coffin was purchased by @/metmuseum in 2017 and repatriated in 2019 after this viral photo helped solve the case. (link)

3. Next, her sister @/KendallJenner in @/givenchy at the 2021 #MetGala as the 13th century wooden Temple Strut with Salabhinka, returned from @/metmuseum to the Government of Nepal in 2022, after it was determined to be looked from Itum Baha in Kathmandu. (link)

4. Another object from Nepal, @/rihanna in @/Margiel at the 2018 #MetGala as a 10th century Shiva in Himalayan Adobe with Ascetics. @/metmuseum was gifted the sculpture in 1995, but repatriated it to Nepal in 2022 along with the temple strut, after learning both were stolen.

8. @/Beyonce in @/givenchy at the 2013 #MetGala as a 2,300-year-old vase that depicts the god Dionysus. The vase is linked to Giacomo Medici, an art dealer convicted of conspiracy to traffic antiquities in 2004, and was seized from the @/metmuseum in 2017. (link)

Minato’s 24th Birthday || No Longer Accepting

@mysticallities​ sent:  Aiko, teasingly, definitely did NOT tell Ayumi of Minato's birthday! Nope, nope. Ayumi, at present, did not just walk up to Minato and present him with a handmade three-layer vanilla and chocolate cake topped with chocolate ganache courtesy of Erina. At the highest layer was a covering, a small edible ball of chocolate, a strange blue glow emanating from its cracks. "Ha-... Ah-.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ARISATO-SAN!" Ayumi exclaims, her hands dropping the plate before – it levitates..  the Nirvana keeping it suspended in midair. "H- hope you like it..." she blushes like mad!!!

So far, it had been a very eventful birthday, and it all started with Minato’s P.O box being filled to the brim with mountains of birthday wishes from fans -- most of the letter were from fangirls wishing him a heartfelt birthday wish, some had even went through all the trouble of decorating the birthday cards head to toe in little ghost and heart pins, some even having blueberry pins which was a prime example of how well his fans knew him -- which came as quite a surprise, he knew his fans were dedicated, but being this devoted to him to know every single thing he liked? It gave him a brand new  level of appreciation for his fans. Somewhere in the mix of letters and cards from fangirls, he saw a small handful of letters from male fans too. 

The entire capacity of letters was so great, that Minato needed to return with a whole cardboard box just to hold all of the letters he had received, just how the hell was he going to read all of these? In the end, the bluenette decided that later on was the best time to read them, or at least some, there was no way he’d be able to get through them all in one night, but he’d at least try to get through half of them if it were even possible tonight. As he was sitting in his hotel room, the vibration from his smartphones goes off giving him a notification, it was likely a social media post, as he had been getting notifications all day about fans posting on his many social media accounts, twitter, instagram and even his page on facebook (though he wasn’t on there as much and tended to leave his facebook page for promoting his show) 

Deciding to check anyway he’d find that he was wrong, it wasn’t anything to do with his accounts, instead, he was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a text from Ayumi Shinozaki, the young woman whom he’d just finished creating a documentary involving Heavenly Host with since she was one of the few survivors from the terrible ordeal, someone he had become quite friendly with over the past little while they had spent together, This was the first time she’d reached out to him after the documentary was completed. She was asking him if he could meet up with her in a nearby park, with nothing on further on his schedule for today, he accepted and texted her back letting her know that he’d  be on his way shortly. Since he had interviews earlier in the day, he was still presented well, so all he needed to really do was throw his signature teal-blue scarf over his neck and he was out the door in mere minutes.

In a single span of seven minutes, Minato arrived at the park and immediately spotted Ayumi giving her a wave as they made eye contact and he made his approach, from first glance, it appeared that she was hiding something behind her back. Stopping in place in front of her, before he could greet her, she stutters a bit before shyly presenting him with what looked like a homemade cake, as soon as he saw it, even within the plastic wrapping paper, he could smell how delicious it was. After she had shown him, it seemed like it was about to hit the ground, before her powers suddenly caught it mid-air filling him relief as he was interesting in eating this odd but very cool looking cake, he’d never seen a cake quite like this one before -- to anyone else, an ominous blue glow within a baked cake, would more than likely be enough so scare people away from trying it, as most cakes didn’t usually come with a colorful glow, to Minato, it was a baking masterpiece. Reaching out, he grabs hold of the cake making sure to carry it firmly in his grasp.

[{ 🦋 }] - “Wow, that’s the coolest cake I’ve ever seen, I don’t know how you got it to glow like that, but I bet in only enhances the flavor.”

[{ 🦋 }] - “Thanks Shinozaki, I can’t wait to try it. Wanna come back to my place? We can try it together.” Since his hotel was close by, he figured inviting her back with him made more sense, it wouldn’t be easy carrying around a whole cake, especially since it had already almost went splat on the ground had it not been for her powers.
