Felt like crunching some numbers to look at my fanfic statistics over time, mostly out of curiosity. Technically it should only include posted fics (since those are the dates used), but I included the 7 chapters of The Miracle of Creation anyway since leaving out (almost) 25k words felt dumb. And hey, at least that reversed the steady decline. I’m kinda surprised at high big the difference is between the first two years and later, but I knew there would be a big jump. Overall, very interesting.

#dark rambles #dates are from the first post in that year to the last one before the next year #so (for example) I posted nothing in the gap between june 4th 2020 and oct 25th 2020 #year 5 is gonna be the first one not to start on the 25th since this is the first year I'm skipping Ectoberweek #also look ma. you can see exactly where I had to crack down on school and had no time or motivation to write anymore #those full-time work weeks from summer 2020 to january 2022 really destroyed me lmao #also if you're curious about the colors #they're meant to tie back into the previous sheet where I list all fics for that year

Twisted Wonderland Birthdates/Birthyears, In Order.

A comprehensive list of each TWST character’s exact birthdate, in order, down to the year + their ages. This will be going off of Twisted Wonderland’s release date, (2020), and not the current year (2023 at the time of writing). Contains chapter 7 spoilers.

- I’m aware that the Japanese school year starts in April instead of September, but for some reason my brain refused to process this so I ended up doing these based around the school year cut-off being September. I decided to post it anyway, since I’m pretty sure most of it’s still accurate, though I may do a Japanese version at some point!

~Ortho’s age is anonymous, so I had to do some speculations and maths here. I’m going to assume that R!Ortho was 8 years old at the date of his death, and that Idia constructed O!Ortho when he was around 10. This would give their parents plenty of time to start caring about Robortho before the pair left for Night Raven. I’m going to assume that O!Ortho is either 3 years old with the mental state of an 11 year old, or 3 years old with the mental state of a 16 year old (since he joined the first years, albeit as a special exception). Personally I’m leaning more towards the former.

~If Lilia was 300 years old during the war and Silver was a baby at the time (seemingly 0 - 1 years old) then that would mean that his birthyear falls somewhere between 1620 - 1622, most likely 1621. Lilia also states that the day he found Silver was the day that he decided for Silver's birthday, meaning that the odds of May 15th being his real birthday are 1/365. During Silver's identity crisis dream we see what he looked like on the day that Lilia found him, which we've established was May 15th, and he looks to be roughly 6 months old.

It's possible that Lilia thought of this and decided to consider this Silver's 1st birthday, but if that were the case, there's a good 50% chance that Silver has actually been awake for 16 years of his life, which would actually be very clever since Aurora was 16. In the reverse, if Lilia decided to treat the day he found Silver as the day he was born, then there's a 50% chance that Silver is actually 18. Basically what I'm saying is I haven't got a fucking clue-)

Duke Thomas Big Bang 2023

Hello! I'm starting back up the Duke Thomas Big Bang, which previously ran in 2020-21. I did a poll on interest on my blog @duke-thomas-stan-blog and enough people expressed interest that I'm going through with it!

The event will hopefully run from June 25th up to October 1st, though dates might change, and will feature collaboration between artists, writers & betas to create pieces that honour Duke Thomas and fill up his tags with incredible works! It's an opportunity to dust off an old work and finish it up, or put a new idea to paper, anything goes as long as you're having fun with it!

We're looking for artists, writers, betas, and mods to participate, as well as pinch-hitters who can help out if needed.

Per the press release exclusively obtained through DWFH-FM 97.7mhz's K5 News FM, the latest synopsis for the final season of a French cartoon show portrays intense and potentially darker scenes that comes up a bit close to happen: "After their destructive battle with Oropo, but also with their own demons, Yugo the Eliatrope and his friends find themselves at the gates of Ingloriom, the realm of the Gods. The Tofu Brotherhood (TFB) has no time to wonder what fate the 12 Divinities have in store for them for this sacrilege: the floating territory is devastated!".

Before an actual final season premiere on a national French television, a sneak preview in the panel is yet to be shown in-person at the Angoulême International Comics Festival (AICF) on Thursday late-afternoon (January 25th, 2024 at 5:30pm -- France local time).

Inside a panel in Angoulême City, the said country, will discuss about the upcoming 4th and Final Season of the show, in the presence of Wakfu show creator named Anthony "Tot" Roux, one of the authors with French YouTuber personality (Malec) and Wakfu's historical Character Designer (Sonia Demechlis).

In a televised trailer 'X Network' (formerly Twitter) released Tuesday afternoon (January 16th, 2024), the heroes of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, Yugo the Eliatrope, Prncs. Amalia Sheran Sharm, Ms. Evangelyne the Cra, Mr. Ruel Stroud and among others have fought against formidable enemies and ancient evils. But sadly, things are gone crazier and darker situations as the fate of 'The World of 12' rests on their shoulders.

K5 News FM learns exclusively that the runtime for this 4th Season of Wakfu is 22 minutes long, with a final 13 new episodes.

French cartoon show of Wakfu was started in the late-October 2008 during France 3's kids programming block "Toowam", before transitioning to Ludo (home of between Wakfu on the said date of 2008 and LoliRock in the late mid-October 2014).

At the time of the writing with a confirmation from Ankama Studios and Zodiak Kids & Family (part of Banijay Group), theories in French kids cartoon suggest between LoliRock and Wakfu will not be planning to do a crossover episode for now, in and outside of this same public broadcasting network on Wakfu's final season for France Televisions.

As reported exclusively between AnimeTVFrance news bureau (via The X Network) and Ankama News (also via the press release division of Wakfu), we do know that the new episodes to be aired back-2-back on primetime until early mid-March 2024.

With this, you can catch LIVE new episodes of the final 4th Season of Wakfu, premieres February 9th, 2024 at 1:30pm Eastern / 12:30pm Central (in the United States) / 7:30pm in France -- only on France 4's Okoo programming block and streaming LIVE via the France TV website, Animation Digital Network (ADN) and on the Okoo app for Google Play and Apple App Stores in France.

Timeline 9 covers 2 August 2023 - 26 September 2023

2 August, this time groomed while photographed on the streets of NoHo with AN. Later on we learned he recorded videos for Esquire

3 August, the next shop event at Broadway Spirits, some more streetpics and video were found.

August 4 he flew to Chicago for the next event at Binny's Beverage Depot on August 5th. There's some time to explore Chicago in the evening and the next day enjoying a baseball game. He's also spotted by a fan leaving the hotel

Next stops will be on August 8 for Houston and August 10 for Austin. While the LA stop has been postponed.

August 7 looking for some coffee at the airport and flying to Houston. And right back to promo and mixing cocktails at Permission Whiskey and Mad Houston

August 8 the event at Spec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods including the pre-signing, waiting line and fan pics. After which he did some more bartending at Electric FeelGood in Houston.

August 9 he's in Austin seen at Peche, the next day, August 10, the event at Total Wine & Spirits in Austin takes place.

August 11, Sam and Alex are flying, probably to LA though it's not sure if the story is a latergram

However confirmation about his whereabouts came a week later when we saw NR flying on August 16 to what appeared to be LA and was confirmed by PV's post they were at Pharos gym at Redondo Beach on August 17th.

August 19 he visits the Rams game in the Sofi Stadium, LA together with Nic R, AN and Marina C. A fan recognized him as well.

On Aug 24th he posted a video probably at Runyon Canyon or the HH Hills. Presumably recent. The next day, August 25th, he posted a pic with NR at Pharos Echopark, for sure a latergram as NR was already back home, and as we learned S himself took a flight out of LA, spotted by a fan. He flew to Kansas City for a private con on August 26th, organised by Sasnak City. he was a guest together with Duncan L and Charles V. Some more info was revealed later during a live IG of attendees.

On Friday 1 September members of the SS/MPC team were invited for a boat trip at Marina Del Rey. Which lead to a stir since then called the Zanzibar Saga.

Sunday 3 September the final event of the SS tour at Total Wine & More in LA

On 5 September he was spotted sitting outside at Shutters on the Beach, and 2 days later on 7 September again, now at a coffee shop on Abbot Kinney same clothes and motorbike helmet.

On 10 September he's at the men's finales at the US Open in NYC

Recording the audio for the CL in NZ book at the Hachette office in NYC during the week from 11 - 15 September, on Friday 15 September a group pic from the office is posted as well as another pic from an employee. Another group pic is posted later on. On Saturday 16 September a fan pic is posted from the Starbuck shop near the Hachette office and on 18 September he posts a video himself.

Sunday 24 September he's spotted at The Cafe at Number 16 in Aberdour, Scotland, having some family time

On 26 September he posts a selfie with Jake Norton, meeting him in Glasgow the day before. Later on confirmed by a fan pic taken on the same day. He might have been doing some home decorating in that week.

June 19-20, 2022 - Supernatural trends after Misha Collins Says A Thing.

It's become sort of expected at this point that once in a while Misha Collins will say something on a convention that will cause even more stir in this hot mess of a fandom.

This time it's during the All Hell Breaks Loose Convention when he described what he stated was supposed to be the show's finale. He even repeated his famous "what are they gonna do, fire me?" phrase originally said in 2020 when, funnily enough, he was discussing the same thing [x, from 25th minute].

He described a scene in the Roadhouse in Dean's heaven, with Sam, many other characters that had appeared in the show over the years, and Cas: "Dean was gonna sidle up next to Cas at the bar, Cas was gonna be there." [video] [transcript] We may never know what was supposed to happen in that last episode, but it's always good to see that Supernatural can still cause a little chaos two years after it ended.

Dragonflies of Ontario - Order Odonata

In honor of the Lunar New Year - which this year is the Year of the Dragon - I have a compilation post showcasing some of the Dragonflies that call Ontario their home and hunting grounds! Just like the New Year's Post, the pictures found here haven't been uploaded to the blog before. Although similar in shape and form, these Odonates differ vastly across sizes, color and ferocity. Some even have patterned wings which can be different whether male or female and how old they are! Most of them in the wilderness, in close proximity to (un-pictured) water sources; it's far easier to photograph when they are close, rather than darting across a lake in pursuit of another insect. The specimens here consist of many familiar species across the many families within the Infraorder known as Anisoptera. Any guesses on the exact number of family classifications featured in this post? To answer that question: look closely at, no...behold these colorful, powerful and majestic Dragonflies:
