a detective who has a partner🔍 and a partner💕 who are friends so the three of them end up doing a lof things together and the detective refers to them as "my partners" and doesn't realise this makes everyone think they're polyamorous (they do end up polyamorous by the end of the story)

#once people start making remarks and they do realise they're apprehensive to the idea at first #(the detective that is. the partners just find it funny i think) #in a shocked and confused way #like “why would you think that! a is my best friend and b is... also my best friend. but one of them is my colleague and the other my spous #“i do not have an unprofessional relationship with my colleague! ...well i do #but a completely platonic one!“ #(they do get up to a lot of hijinks together and it wouldn't be true to call them completely professional) #the detective doesn't stop calling them 'my partners' they just have a monologue about the nature of their relationship locked and loaded #it's a friends to lovers very slow burn to get to the throuple part but we do get there eventually #character concept #yes i initially imagined the detective as a man because i love men and most famous detectives unfortunately are men #however this would work very well in any gender scenario. all three of them are non-binary in different ways. all of them are women. #i think the main detective would be really fun if she was a Philomena Cunk type of character. very smart but So dumb and self-assured #really the main thing the detective needs to be is autistic

Ok so Link was intended to have a little sister in before the Calamity, so I thought I'd do my own take on her.

Aryll is 7 years old and Link (in my headcanon) is 20. Link's an absolute goof, so he's good at flipping on the big brother goofball mode. Her best friend is a cucco named Helmaroc, or Roc, who follows wherever she goes.

She sits on the roof of their cottage telling Roc of all the adventures those birdies that soar above Mt. Lanayru must've seen on their flight across Hyrule.

Jessie and James are so silly 😭 after they both realize they like Ris they begin to suspect the other likes them too!! so their narrow their eyes and ask each other questions suspiciously until Jessie’s like “HAH! YOU LOVE RIS I KNEW IT” and James is like “WELL OBVIOUSLY YOU LOVE THEM TOO” and they’re pointing at each other like that spiderman meme

the two start to compete for Ris’ attention for a while until Meowth has to step in and be like “you bozos know you can both love them at the same time. like. you can just do that” and it blows their MINDS

after that they make a plan to confess! they’re like holding each other crying going “I’m scared they’ll reject us….but I can’t keep my feelings a secret any longer! we must be brave!! 😭😭😭”

so they set up a lovely day filled with fun activities for Ris and their pokemon which all of course go horribly wrong. and they’re DISTRAUGHT about it but still determined to confess at the end of the day. BUT before they can Ris smiles and blushes and goes “it’s always fun spending time with you two…you’ve become really important to me, y’know?”

and Jessie and James are sitting there like this

and Ris continues “y-you don’t have to say anything!! but I have to get this off my chest 😤 I have feelings for both of you. feelings of love. a- and it’s okay if you don’t reciprocate-“

and they never finish because Jessie and James tackle them to the ground and hug them sooooo tightly like “WE FEEL THE SAAAAME 😭”
