foi só pra mim que agosto passou voando? tenho a sensação que ficamos presos em julho por tanto tempo que agosto decidiu compensar, passando num piscar de olhos.

eu comprei a mochila dos meus sonhos! eu babava tanto nela em todos os lugares que eu via, finalmente pude comprar uma Fjällräven Kånken verde.

eu finalmente terminei de ler “aprender a falar com as plantas”, esse livro tem uma premissa incrível e uma história profunda. infelizmente sinto que não me conectei tanto quanto queria, o que é uma pena pois é um bom livro.

ok, podemos falar sobre vermelho, branco e sangue azul? eu tô tão apaixonada por esses dois! amei o filme, apesar de não ter gostado das mudanças. mas os protagonistas são perfeitos, e que química!

eu aprendi a conectar o joycon no celular e espelhar o celular na tv, e pude jogar hello kitty island adventure como se fosse no switch, amei.

falando em joycon, chegaram o meu outro par. agora a família está completa e eu tô duas vezes mais apaixonada.

eu fui no casamento dos meus amigos, foi tudo tão lindo. quando entrei no salão, começou a tocar uma música de daisy jones & the six e eu dancei enquanto comia canapés.

comecei o curso “vivendo de escrita” da editora ronin, será que finalmente meu livro vem aí? só sei que isso me deu vontade de levar uns outros planos pra frente…

levei os amigos pra turistar em brasília enquanto eu contava histórias aleatórias sobre a cidade. sério eu amo brasília!

ah, eu terminei tears of the kingdom. e que jogo incrível! esse merece um post só dele.

2015 tumblr/insta/youtube health and lifestyle trends

So I remember this era from perhaps the end of 2014 to 2016 when youtube vlogging and instagram influencing was taking off. Pictures of clean, aesthetic, health and lifestyle trends were appearing on tumblr, and loads of photos on tumblr were being pulled from instagram, rather than We Heart It. This coincided with soft grunge beginning to lose traction and a rising plant/nature/minimalism trend on tumblr in 2015.

Trends at this time were:

Reusing VOSS water bottles, especially with mint, cucumber, lemon or other fruits

Succulents and cacti popularity was at its peak

Smoothies, acai bowls, avocado toast (and along came with it the millennial-avocado-toast jokes from older generations)

General "clean eating", yoga, mental health awareness, increasing interests in veganism, spirituality, mindfulness

Taking aesthetic pictures along walks

Green tea, Arizona iced teas, Coconut water, Blk water

Coconut oil for everything

Aesthetic study photos on pristine desks or outside on the grass

Fjällräven Kånken bags

Aesthetic brunch and coffee date photos with friends

Taking photos of your food to post to instagram was definitely trending and probably at its peak here

What I Eat In A Day videos on youtube

Aesthetic "tumblr"-style outfit look books on youtube were still popular as well as look books for every season and event, but summer holiday and festival look books really stood out to me at the time

There was a general trend away from the messy grunge look, into a more minimal look that used some of the same clothing and style (like ripped black skinny jeans and thin black chokers with pendants), but makeup that was leaning towards popular culture too (winged liner, matte eyeshadows, shaped brows, etc). This might have actually been soft grunge trends leaking out into popular fashion?
