hap birf to Preela Grenlan! born on Nelona 15th, 16 BBY!

oldest daughter of Sevlo and Weylani Grenlan, older sister to Naydelia and Chandi, half-sister to Jesse, and step-daughter to Leonnell Quithios; girl’s got a complicated but big and loving family, lol. even Meg’s like a mom to her too.

she was about 5 years old when her dad passed away, so she doesn’t really remember too much about him. i’m not entirely sure when her mom eventually remarried, but Leonnell had been around long enough that she’s always seen him as her dad anyway. not that she didn’t love Sevlo, but he wasn’t a super present father, and again, he wasn’t around for very long in the first place. so she’s particularly close w/ her step-dad, but also just w/ her family in general; she and her youngest sister do practically everything together. and they both take after their mom in that they’re super active/athletic; these dollmakers don’t do her abs justice, lmao.

what she doesn’t know, however, is that Jesse is actually her half-brother. they were raised together almost like siblings (she knew his mom was the head cook and that he didn’t know his dad, but neither of them really put two and two together, rip), so she sort of saw him as a brother anyway. and whenever she’d visit him in the kitchens, Meg would spoil her (and her sisters) w/ some sort of homemade sweets. so when Jesse ran away, she’d spend time in the kitchens/with Meg every day just to help out wherever she could.

around the time the Taris Mission rolls around, i think i decided on some sorta plot point where she and her sisters get kidnapped for ransom, b/c their mom’s a noblewoman of some description and might have money/info/something the Bad Guys™ want?? idk, i’m still working that out, but basically her and her sisters’ reunion w/ their half-brother happens some time during that whole fiasco. it’s also where she meets Minun Säteilevä Valo, and a number of years later, they decide to settle down and start a family (they have a son named Ilta Safiiri Valo-Grenlan).

~one year later...

i, uh. pretty much covered it all already, kdghjfs. actually okay; i say “settle down” in terms of family life, but like. not entirely true; she probably ends up inheriting the title of Head of the Grenlan Family from her mom after a point, but i’m like. also debating?? on whether that’s solely her gig or if maybe she shares it w/ Naydie?? since her wife would probably wanna stay on Bespin, she’d be living back and forth between the two anyway, but ye. now she’s got an even bigger family to love and care for.
