Hiromi: I'm going to take a shower. Do you care to join me?
Kai: You know there's a gun in the footlocker in the garage.
Kai: If I ever said no to that question, I want you to use it on me.

For the ship ask game, 13, 16, 17, 18 for KaiHil, please!
At first, I am really sorry for replying to this ask so late, dear. Couldn't find time for it and also took time to prepare the answers. Hehehe...anyways, let's move on!
13. Their opinions on PDA:
Public display of affection, right? Dear, actually *Scratches head* KaiHil was never a public couple. Yet, one of their signature displays is to wrap their pinky fingers around each other's.
(Cute, isn't it? :P )
Another one- Hilary keeps her head against Kai's shoulder, wrapping her fingers around one of his arms while walking and Kai secretly smells her hair. Actually these signs belong more to reliance on each other, respect to each other-than to affection, I guess. Hehehe...
16. Domestic bliss moment/domestic chores/shopping:
Both are pretty busy in their regular chores. Yet, their special moment is when they dress each other up for going outside. Kai combs and dresses Hilary's hair, Hilary also does the same and makes him wear the scarf around his neck.
They, of course, if in a live-in relationship, cook together. While cooking, Hilary is the one to cut the veggies, beat eggs, mix the spices and marinate (Although it is Kai who decides the quantities of the ingredients). Except that, Kai only boils, fries and steams them. (Yeah yeah, hot boy does hottie things ;P). For fish or meat, it's Kai who chops them.
For cleaning, together, they clean the furniture and mirrors. For floors, if Kai removes the dust with the vacuum cleaner, Hilary will mop them (And will get very very much angry with Kai if he steps on the wet floors with bare feet -_-). For cloths and dishes, they just divide the duties although they remain together for the dishwashing. Hilary just keeps talking and Kai keeps listening, as always.
Now, shopping. Shopping with Hilary: A nightmare to Kai Hiwatari! Buhahaha! (xD) Yes, really, our Mr. Sourpuss, the bravest, toughest blader in the world is scared of only a very few things in this world and shopping with the brunette is one of them. No, not because she is a woman who will empty the market. She will buy only a few things which are really necessary but she won't compromise with the quality of it. And in this case, she's better than her partner, including bargaining. When she keeps haggling with the storekeepers and remains roaming from this shop to that, Kai just becomes (-_-). I mean...she takes a lot of time.
But Kai surely admires one thing about her: Her shopping demands are very few in number, in comparison with other girls. Plus, she doesn't always rely on Kai's money for her wants. So, this trait of Hilary can be forgiven, right? ;D
17. A relaxing night for them:
An open, cloudless sky wearing the tiara of the moon and hairpins of pearly stars, checking for her reflection on the transparent surface of the plain river water. At the shore, they both are sitting, resting the heads of each other on the shoulders of each other, palms on each other's knees. Fireflies hovering around them; there is no person, no sound-except the jingling of the crickets.
Ah! *Blissfully sighs* What can be more relaxing for them?
18. A dating night for them:
There are many. A long-walk in a winter evening (No long drive), having tea in a very ancient, vintage tea-shop where the kimono-worn traditional waitresses serve tea in wooden cups on bamboo-made trays, a rain dance in a monsoon night, lying down on the grass and facing the sky together in a summer/spring night, rowing boat in the river in a moonlit night with a traditional classic lantern (Reminding me of the song: Sirivennela. Totally KaiHil material! *_* *_*)
That's it. Thank you so much for the ask and also, again, sorry for being late :P

For the fanfiction/fandom questions or whatever it is.
7, 16, 28, 48, 51.
Thanks for asking immediately after I reblogged it!
7. List your NoTPs from each fandom you’ve been in.
Well, to be honest, I don't know if I can call these NoTPs but here you go. Naruto: For sure, SasuKarin will always be the biggest NoTP for me in fiction. I don't like their dynamic, because it's pretty eerie and creepy. SasuSaku is misunderstood to be like that by SK fans, but sorry it's the other way around. SasuKarin is nowhere near SasuSaku to me. And I quite don't like SasuHina too. Nothing compels me to ship them. I don't like KibaHina or even ShinoHina. I can't imagine Hinata with anybody besides Naruto. Beyblade: Well, for sure MaxxMariam is not my cup of tea, welp sorry. I can write something for them, but I can never ship them or imagine them as a couple. They have enough scenes, but their personality types together as a couple are not really my thing. Rick and Mariah's ship is something I never thought about. I am quite indifferent towards ReixSalima too. I mean their dynamic is good, but I guess their scenes are not pretty solid enough to ship them, given that Ray is one of the mainstream characters. But it's all just to my eyes only. KaixHilary is also a couple I show less interest in. Jujutsu Kaisen: SukunaxMegumi? SukunaXYuji? I don't like them. Gintama: GintokixKagura? Pedophilic.
I don't think I have NoTPs from other fandoms I've been in. Or I guess I can't think at the moment.
16. Are their any popular ships in your fandom which you dislike?
I guess my answer is the same as that of the above, excluding all the infamous ones.
28. If someone were to draw a piece of fanart for your story, which story would it be and what would the picture be of?
I want somebody to draw a fanart for this story called "I care".
48. Do you leave reviews when you read fanfiction? Why/Why not?
Yes, I do leave reviews for most of the fics I read, because the writers would be tempted to get reviews, and I would also feel the same when someone reads my fics too. So, I guess it would be hypocrisy if I don't leave them.
51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go!
AAAHHH
Don't compel me to read fics that I don't want to! And why the heck the fewer reviews I get! T-T
I just wish I had more readers around, and the lack of readers made me not publish fics for longer go. I wish I could get back to writing but I'm not motivated enough. The sparse reviews kinda tick me tbh. Fics featuring my underrated faves don't get much recognition. Or I guess I should have joined earlier.
BTW I kinda ranted in the 7th question itself hahaha.
Anyhow thanks for the ask!

For the fandom meme: B C Q T
B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind.
I had never even really thought about Kai x Brooklyn all that much. But somehow in a conversation with @luxahheart like 2 years ago now, she showed me this piece of fanart that had me shipping them in a heartbeat! Sadly I didn’t save it, and a long time later asked if she still had it. Poor thing searched everywhere, multiple times, to no avail, and now we keep seeing it everywhere XD. Now I love them as a pairing and doing a fic about them, which I love, with @xkatya92. C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.
KaixHilary. Hands down. Cannot see how it’s as popular as it is. To me she belongs with Tyson. Q - A ship you abandoned and why.
I’ve never abandoned a ship to be honest. I always have and always will be a KaixRay girl through and through with a few little dabbles. But I’ve always stayed true to my dabbles too haha.
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending.
Ohhhhh. Interesting one. I’m sure later on I’ll think of loads, but I’m pretty blank at the moment. Not sure if I’d die for them, but they’re headcanons. - Kai speaks French.
- Kai plays an instrument of some kind.
- Grampa Granger was a total rebel in his youth and got in to some shit.
- Voltaire/Soichiro loved his wife with everything he had.
- Brooklyn is actually a really sweet guy.
Thank you for the ask! I love stuff like this! :)

I remember reading this one super short fic where Julia and Tyson wound up going on a date or something. And since then... I've shipped them - it's greatly helped me cope when I read a story that turned out to be KaiHil XD
Julia and Tyson huh? That’s different! Can’t say I find it totally dismissive; Tyson and Julia would be an amusing pair because I think every moment they’re not naked they’re fighting haha. Definitely hilarious. I agree though, I’m not a KaixHilary shipper either. It’s one of my least favorites actually.

Theemithi: Difference between dignity and arrogance
Bushy layers of murk coated the room from all the four directions, so dense and clogging that even the moonshine couldn’t peep inside, penetrating the soft velvet draperies hanging in front of the large, rectangular windows. Surprisingly, despite having no way for the air to be crossed throughout the compartment, its temperature was quite low. The faint rambling of the clouds, fighting outside against the spherical beauty of night, holding their scimitars and shields of twilight, could be heard, by fits and starts. At the center of the chamber, a lamp made of sandalwood was burning with pale crimson flame, being the only source of the light there.
By its both sides, on two cold, black stone benches, two warriors were sitting in lotus pose, trying to concentrate on their meditation as their backs faced each other. However, both were failing to do that, in spite of trying a lot-just like they had tried to save the match a couple of days ago, yet, ended up being unsuccessful. Particularly, there was no end of regret and sorrow of the phoenix-prince. He still couldn’t believe how they had got defeated. Even in such a cold atmosphere in the room, beads of sweat could be seen clinging to his broad forehead, sliding past his cheeks. Somewhere deep inside, a guilty feeling was eating him.
“Tok tok! Tok tok!”
The amethyst eyes of the half-Russian were shot open as the knock at the door easily broke his chain of thoughts. Rotating, he took a look of his navy-haired roommate who also seemed to notice the sound. He got up from the bed, “Wait Kai, let me check.”
Striding towards the door, no sooner had the dragoon-wielder opened it than the intensity of brightness in the room increased a little all of a sudden. Both the warriors frowned as the elder one reached the entrance with a view to having a look of the arriver. Though she wasn’t unfamiliar to them, they didn’t expect her at that hour of night knocking at their entry.
“Princess Sheeza!” Tyson immediately reacted unlike the dual-haired combatant who was still silent, “You’re here?”
Neither the young lady reply to the navy-haired guy instantly, nor did she even look at him. Her bright turquoise orbs were only upon the other one, located under her slightly creased, black eyebrows. In the pacy gust of wind, her dense raven locks couldn’t control themselves, flowing restlessly on her lean back. In the luminosity of the flame of the black candle in the crystal goblet held in her hand, her ivory complexion was looking more colorless. She wrapped a dark blue, non-transparent shawl around her shoulders and torso, having no jewelry to bedeck her, not even a ring. The only cosmetic she was wearing was the streaks of kohl on her eyelines.
“Tyson,” She was still staring at the puzzled face of the Russian on which there was the reflection of the candle blaze, “I have some important talks with Kai. Could you please leave us here for a few moments?”
Tyson once confusedly glanced at the face of the Russian who wasn’t looking too satisfied at the proposal of the princess. He straightly replied, “Pardon me, princess, but Kai cannot talk to you. He is a little sick today, that’s why he has refused all his visitors to meet. Please, come tomorrow.”
“Dew-chan is eagerly waiting for you, Tyson,” Her voice was lacking warmth, “She needs you right now.”
“You’re her elder sister,” Nevertheless, the dragoon-wielder was so protective of his friend that he didn’t want to leave him alone, “You can always stay by her side whenever she needs love. Besides, she is a very patient and understanding girl, tell her that I will meet her tomorrow.”
“Tyson…” Kai opened his mouth after a long period of muteness, “Follow the orders of the princess. Leave us both for a small amount of time.”
“You sure?” Tyson was still feeling suspicious.
“Hn.” He nodded. Receiving the signal from his friend, the navy-haired young man sighed and shot a warning look at the princess before departing. A small smirk rose in the lower corner of the lips of the raven-haired woman as she gently entered the room, thudding the door behind her. Kai turned his gazes away, “Tell me what you want.”
Grimacing, with a jolt, she removed the shawl from her torso which left her with a strapless, figure-hugging navy-blue blouse, showing off her apple-sized breasts and the black snake-tattoo by the side of her cocktail cleavage. A little below her deep, linear bellybutton on her fatless stomach, the border of her skirt started, displaying another raven bodyart of a python, started from her back and ended on the right side of her waist. No matter how strong and intoxicating her features were to tempt a man, the phoenix-prince was made of another material. In disgust, his aventurine pools got lowered as he revolved back, not wanting to face her anymore.
“I thought you would be trying to comfort me after such a loss,” She picked up the shawl from the ground, bending a tad and left one edge of that garment to the flame of the candle she was holding, “But you are such a stone, Kai.”
“I thought you would be very strong to overcome this tough moment,” Kai’s voice was emotionless, “But you are such a damsel in distress, princess.”
“How dare you!” Leaving the burning cloth on the crystal chalice, she grasped his well-toned shoulder with her black-polished nails, “You’re talking to a princess, don’t forget that!”
“Princess?” Kai mocked, “They don’t enter the room of the knights at this hour of night without emergency and don’t want privacy behind the closed doors. At least my learnings tell me so.”
“Listen, Hiwatari!” She rotated him in her direction and dropped the half-burnt shawl on the floor again, “This is my castle! I can do whatever, wherever and whenever I want and I don’t need to give any justification for that to anyone. Got it?”
‘Yeah…’ He mused, ‘Whoever in this castle gives that?’
“By the way, I had a nice gift for you.” With a blow, she extinguished the waxlight, snatching all the brightnessas Kai’s eyes became extended. His jaw and fists became gnashed in fury, goosebumps of sheer repulsion were all over his body. How could Sheeza stoop so low? To such a level of impertinence that it couldn’t be forgiven?
Yet, before he could have screamed, something very hot, powdery thrashed his face, making him close his eyes and cough. It had a strong burning smell, giving an instant disturbing sensation to his nostrils. His cheeks hurt and became a little faint red since the temperature of the substance was quite high. His ears were still active, sensing the sarcastic laughter of the girl in the room.
“This is your reward, Hiwatari!” She somehow spoke, between the bursts of her hysterical laughter, “The ash of my shawl…or say, the residues of my torn honor that you caused, losing the match. You…you did it purposefully, right?”
Red liquid of life inside the arteries of the phoenix-prince bubbled in anger and abhorrence, at this false accusation of the princess though he couldn’t thrust it out at that moment. At the same time, another woman with lush, waist-length chocolate hair and glittering ruby orbs peered inside the compartment of his memories.
“Here…look at me,” She kept a hand on his shoulder, gently turning his face towards her with the supple fingers of another hand, “You aren’t talking but it doesn’t mean that I won’t be able to know what you are undergoing, Kai.”
“I’m sorry.” The phoenix-prince sighed. Only to one person in this world, he could easily confide himself and say that ‘Sorry’ word.
“Sshh…” She placed a finger on his lips, “No need to apologize to me, Kai. Defeats, mistakes, failures-they are the inseparable parts of our life. But you know, you are the phoenix-prince. Not only a warrior, but also a devotee of Lady Dranzer, the vermillion bird of the South. She must have taught you to rise like a phoenix from the ashes, mustn’t she?”
“Hn.” He agreed.
“Then, just leave these thoughts and have a very peaceful sleep,” A bright smile played all over her face, “Tomorrow, we will head for Osaka kingdom. We need to wake up very early. Okay?”
‘Never…’ He was wiping off the ashes from his face, while pondering, ‘Never could Hiromi and Sheeza be same.’
“Let it be deliberate or not…’ Sheeza gritted her fangs, ‘This is the best that you deserve! Keyword: The best!’
In the speed of whirlwind, she stormed off from the room, raising a little pulsation in the curtains, leaving the baffled, hurt and enraged, yet, tinted with the remnants of the shawl…no, the unnecessary arrogance of the princess, which she had considered to be her honor once upon a time.

Aaah! After a long time, I have written something. Since my writing skills have got rotten, you may not like it (-_-). Yet, I have written something finally-this gives me the joy and self-satisfaction of another level.
@cinnamon-teas  @rainbow-pearls @velox-the-knight dearies, see, Misty is back...not yet! I’ll write this story after my exams end, maybe, from the beginning of the November. How is it looking? :P
(I have decided to name the story “Theemithi”. It is a firewalking ritual in South India, Nain may know better :P. The name itself says how the plot of the story will be xD)

Thimeethi: Calmness amidst turbulence
Both the floor and the roof of the hexagonal shrine were made of pure gypsum, supported by tall and broad composite pillars, enclosed by the festoons of wild hydrangea and Sakura like pythons climbing thick banyan trees. Silver candle-stands were attached to them, holding flashy wax-lights which were burning even though it was pure daylight outside, spreading a seraphic aroma all over the hall. The windows were made of colorful glass. By both sides of them, red velvet curtains were drawn off, bound in golden brackets. On the walls at the left and right, portraits of four elements and ancient deities belonging to them were painted with every subtle particularization.
The slab containing the portrait of the vermilion bird of the south, the azure dragon from the east, the white tiger from the west and the black turtle from the north was located on a two-storied pewter podium adjacent to the front wall. Two incensed burners made of sandalwood were guarding it from its both sides, emitting aromatic smoke and making the atmosphere saintlier. In front of the painted block, in a silver bowl, there were four different-colored lotuses floating in rose water, accompanied by two pairs of floating clay lamps. Facing the idol, a royal maiden, on the verge of her twenties, was sitting in lotus pose, straightening her back hidden underneath her bouncy waist-length, lush coco tresses. Though her face couldn’t be seen, it could easily be understood that she was completely absorbed in her prayers and thoughts.
“Here you are!”
The unexpected loudness of the voice of the Latina startled the brunette a little as she turned back, screwing her brows, letting the astonishment be visible in her sparkling ruby orbs. Standing up, she moved towards her cousin, “Julia, you’re here?”
“That’s also my question!” Julia was panting and her tangerine bangs were clinging to her forehead due to extremity of her perspiration, “You know, I have already completed two rounds around this gigantic castle in search of you and you are hiding here?”
“Hey, I am not hiding from anyone!” Hilary felt a bit annoyed with her cousin, “Today, it is my final test of my music lessons. For that, I was praying to the deities so that it can go good.”
“This reason?” Julia gave her a smile of assurance, “Don’t worry Hil, I know you will excel in this test too like all the previous ones. I have full confidence on you.”
“Thanks Julia,” The face of the brunette became brightened, receiving the best wishes from the twin-haired girl, “I really needed this.”
“But…” All of a sudden, Julia’s expression turned a tad gloomy as she remembered something, “I didn’t come here to only wish good luck to you, Hil. Actually, I had to give a piece of bad news.”
“Bad news?” Hilary glowered, “About whom and what, Julie?”
“You must have remembered that today there is the semifinal match of Asian championship of temples, between temple of Dranzer and temple of Horns?” Julia asked, wanting to clarify.
“Temple of Horns?” The chocolate-haired girl raised a brow, “Oh, those corrupt warriors who don’t even have the money to buy weapons for themselves. That’s why, stealing the weapons of others, they step into battlefield. Not only that, their battle strategies are even viler! I cannot yet forget how filthily they defeated general Kon and his teammates who were fighting hard on behalf of the temple of Driger, in the quarterfinals. Hope Kai and his friends teach them a lesson this time.”
“I am afraid to say this…” Julia sounded unusually tensed, unlike her nature, “As always, they have acted vile this time too.”
“This time too?” Hilary couldn’t control her curiosity and worries at the same time, “What do you want to say, Julie?”
“Hiwatarian has badly hurt his elbow,” The orange-banged woman gulped, “The messenger told me that blood was dripping from the wound like droplets of water even though it was bandaged properly. The white dressing turned red bit by bit.”
Hilary flinched, stepping back as she heard her cousin. Nonetheless, Julia continued, “Not only that, only for hitting Hiwatarian illegally, six among ten battlers from the opponents have been warned with orange flags. These horners are playing really dirty.”
Hilary’s bright, cheerful face took no moment to accept the shades of rainclouds in the sky of monsoon. Clenching her teeth, she asked, “Julie, can you tell me the result of the duel till now?”
“As far as I know,” Julia replied, “It was a tie. If it remains same till the final moment, the match will enter into rapid-fire round where the warriors, blindfolded, will have to shoot arrows at the target. Only one blindfolded player from the opposition will be there to block the arrow with his shield.”
‘Oh…’ Hilary lightly mused, reminiscing the past events which had, of course, not been so pleasant both for her and Hiwatarian, ‘So, another rapid-fire round…’
“And there goes our Hiwatarian!” Julia sounded irritated, fidgeting with her fingers, “Who the hell told him to continue battling even after getting injured so badly? He was seeing that the goons of the horners were striking right at his wound deliberately, yet he was in the battlefield. Hil? Aren’t you feeling worried for him?”
“A little,” The brunette replied, trying much to maintain the calmness of her voice, “But more for the result of the battle, and, the most for my test.”
“Eh?” Julia’s eyes became widened in shock as she couldn’t believe her cousin. Squeezing the shoulders of the ruby-eyed maiden, she almost screamed, “What are you saying, Hil? Have you gone crazy? Your beloved is bleeding on the battlefield, yet, fighting, putting his own life at stake and you are calm? How?”
“As if I hadn’t seen him bleeding ever in my life.” Hilary grimaced.
“What?” Julia’s restless was touching the peak now.
“Julie, trust me,” She held the hands of the twin-haired Spaniard which were on her shoulders, “It is much better to bleed to death than to stay alive, carrying a heavy bleeding heart inside the chest. Hiwatarian has already dealt with the latter and handled it very well. I have full faith on my deities as well as my Hiwatarian, he’ll manage it skillfully too.”
“But…”
“Don’t get on my nerves, Julie,” The chocolate-haired princess sighed, “A storm is already going inside me, roaring through my heart and brain, trying to devastate everything. But if I let it come out, nothing good will happen. Let me concentrate on my own test and pray for my Hiwatarian so that everything goes good and ends well.”
Bowing in front of the slab once with utter devotion and faith, Hilary turned back and made her way towards the music house of the castle. Her footsteps were light, slow but her heartbeats were saying something else. Bringing some tresses from her back, she tried to cover her ruby orbs, not letting her cousin see them glittering with her tears. Her head wasn’t lowered, facing straightly whatever was in front of her. She folded her wobbling lips inside forcefully as if she’d been ordering them to stay calm. Nonetheless, the tempest raised in her mind was so disobedient that it wasn’t ready to leave the place so soon-at least, her slightly twitching eyebrows were agreeing on that point. Closing her eyes, she exhaled once, emptying her lungs from all the carbon-di-oxide and attempting to discharging the negative thoughts from her brain.
‘Whatever will happen today,’ She told to herself, ‘Either better, or for betterment!’

A river of blood: Meeting before the war
The preparations for the war were going on in the bastion of Nippon which had begun even before the sun had woken up in the east. Now, the source of daylight was blistering at the center of the bright blue sky, keeping the white cotton shafts busy in roaming around it. Soldiers were carrying the sacks of crops and dry foods on their shoulders and marching. The stallions and elephants were grazing in their barns, some of them were wandering in the open meadow and a few were training with their respective masters. The combatants were practicing with their Katana, javelins, axes, bows and arrows. Hiromi, Takao, Hitoshi and others were surveilling everything going on. Everywhere, there was a heated passion to melt all the pride of the Russians like their icebergs.
The brown-haired lady was standing a little farther from the rest, near some dense shrubberies linked with the jungle. Dressed like a kunoichi, her left hand was holding a longbow and the quiver of arrows was attached to her back. Sweat was trickling down from her forehead. Still, her heartbeats were quite fast from the labor she’d experienced during the archery session of two long hours. She was looking like to keep an eye at the forest so that no intruders could enter their camp through that path. But, in reality, her assignment was to do more than it, that was also hiding from the rest of the warriors. Her eyebrows were fixed at their positions, lips were pressed and a small sigh was let out through her nostrils.
“Cheek-chee! Cheek-chee!”
Her ears twitched at the chirping of the bird. It was a signal, coming from the depth of the jungle. Glancing at the atmosphere around her once, when she found out that no one was watching her, she emptied her lungs once and refilled them. Then, very cautiously, she stepped into the bush and quickly tiptoed towards the spot from where the tweeting was made. She caught the side of a familiar redhead, waiting for her. Seeing her, he blew off, “Lady Hiromi, the time is very short. Someone wants to meet you, right now.”
“Meet…me?” Hiromi raised a brow, “Who, Yuri?”
“You yourself will be able to see,” The scarlet-haired guy huffed, “I am going outside to keep an eye. If someone suspicious comes here, I will send you the signal again.”
“Okay.” The brunette nodded. No sooner had the redhead been out of her sight than another guy took his entry here. He could easily be recognized by the brunette, with his two-toned hair; the slate bangs, covering his amethyst orbs, through which the summer wind was flurrying and the dark-indigo extension gently lying on his bullneck. Pervading the bushy leaves of the tall trees around them, the sunshine was stroking his porcelain skin. His vision was curved down, robust arms were crossed on his chest. The white scarf around his neck was sliding against the pebbly ground. The slightly bent Shashka blade was tucked in his belt, by the left side of his waist.
Hiromi’s eyes were shot wide-open as they had the view of the dual-haired Russian. Hot and unsteady breaths came out from her nose. Since she wasn’t expecting him to be there, it was obvious for her to be shocked to this extent. Her orbs glittered with moisture, she clenched her fangs and tried her best to turn away her vision from him. At the same time, a question popped in her mind: Did Kai get to know about their plans somehow? Nothing could be worse than that at that time…
“What brings you here?” Her tone was stern and direct, not portraying those one hundred emotions rummaging through her heart.
“Missed you.” His reply was also not less straight.
“Kai…” She whispered, not pretending to be an iron-lady anymore, “Come closer to me.”
“No.” Shaking his head, he refused her offer.
“Why?” Revolving to him, she frowned, “Who will stop you here, valiant warrior?”
“Nobody,” The twin-haired man scrutinized the area once, “Besides, stop calling me that. I don’t feel proud of my courage anymore.”
“How long are you going to stay here?” Now, her voice got a little softened, flinging an indirect request at her lover not to end the time so soon.
“As soon as possible.” Nevertheless, something else was roaming in the mind of the Tatar.
“For this?” The brunette couldn’t help cocking an eyebrow, “For this only, you have come here putting your life at stake?”
The Russian didn’t retort immediately. Outstretching his head, he placed his aventurines at her rubies. She could see how much tolerated pain, how many dried teardrops and how many unpronounced words which might have stopped at the tip of his tongue-were gathered in his pupils. Not speaking anything, he gradually came closer to her and pulled her into an embrace. Suddenly, in his toned biceps, the brunette felt much comfortable and easy-far away from the hectic battle strategies, the vows to create a river of blood of the enemies in the battlefield, serene and happy like an ordinary, yet, deep lover. Slowly, her petite arms bound his well-built torso in their garland; she placed an ear against his heartbeats.
“At first, I thought not to visit you,” Kai dipped his nose in her chocolate locks and received their seraphic fragrance with a heartfelt inhalation, “But couldn’t hold myself. I feared of not meeting you anymore. What if you stand in front of me and there is a river of blood between both of us? What if I get drowned in that river and become unable to open my eyes to have a single glimpse of yours for one last time?”
“You’re ruthless!” Hiromi bit her lips and snapped, “You’re freaking horrible! I don’t know you!”
“The thirst of these eyes has finally been quenched,” Kai gently released the brunette from his embrace and stepped back, “Let the angel of death come, I don’t care, I don’t fear. I have already painted your portrait in my heart. Even if my eyes get covered with blood now, that light will never get extinguished. Never.”
“Kai!” The brunette shrieked.
“Hilary…you’re my sole source of energy, my pride…” His final sentences had been uttered before he got vanished into the depth of the forest, “You are my queen.”
Shutting her eyes tightly and biting her inner lips, the chocolate-haired lady kowtowed on the ground, letting her head hang down.
