Has Ariana Given Bravo an Ultimatum?!
Rumor has it that Ariana Madix has given Bravo an ultimatum: It’s either her or them! And honestly, I hope that this is not true.
There are multiple reasons why I don’t like these kinds of ultimatums.
First of all, it never goes well when someone makes ultimatums.
While one can easily argue that those are simply the person’s boundaries, it’s just as easily to argue that someone’s ego has grown out of proportions.
It’s a slippery slope before it gets out of hand for the producers.
Secondly, it will affect the show. Vanderpump Rules has never been more popular, and the show is gaining new viewers – because of Scandoval.
Whether we like it or hate it, Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss are just as important as Ariana on this show.
And by removing them, you remove the story. Not only the story, but it would leave a tremendous hole. What are we going to watch?
The show will lose viewers, so why not strike while the iron is hot? To fire them would be a mistake.
And why not compare the situation with Southern Charm?
Thomas Ravenel had brought his crazy and unhinged girlfriend Ashley Jacobs on the show to make Kathryn Dennis’ life a living hell in season 5.
There was an awesome sense of women empowerment about that season, but the rage Ashley invoked is what truly made it iconic.
In season 6 Thomas and Ashley were gone, and soon after, so was the sisterhood that was forged in season 5.
Without a common enemy, they will start to fight among themselves. And I don’t think that’s what the viewers wants to see next season.
I’m guessing they would want to see the aftermath of this scandal, and as this is a group of friends, it would be natural to see them navigate the situation.
When all is said and done, it’s truly difficult to see Raquel getting back in this group.
She has betrayed the trust of so many people around her, she only has Sandoval and Tom Schwartz left. But I would keep them all.

10 “Peter Pan ‘Sin’Drome” (S1, E1)
The pilot episode is a great introduction to the major players on this show, from Shep to Thomas Ravenel and Whitney Sudler-Smith. When it comes to the likability of the Southern Charm cast, many viewers find Kathryn Dennis to be problematic, but the first episode was all about seeing the fabulous, sometimes immature life that best friends Shep and Craig Conover lived.

7 “Craig of All Trades, Master of None” (S4, E5)
Part of what made Cameran Eubanks so relatable is that she struggled with the decision to become a parent, and she talked about this subject with candor. In this season 4 episode, she shared that she had a quirk, too: she loved voodoo dolls.
Besides this funny and unexpected scene, this episode also featured Craig discovering his love of sewing, which is a famous part of the show, and Thomas wanting to date Landon. The two main storylines here couldn’t be more opposite: while sparks flew between Austen Kroll and Chelsea Meissner, Shep got some scary health information that his liver and cholesterol were in a dangerous place.
Southern Charm gives some life advice often and this is a good example of a time when viewers could learn something from what the cast members were experiencing. In this case, Austen really liked Chelsea but she wanted to keep things casual, and Shep realized that he had to grow up and be more mature. After watching this episode, it’s hard not to want to see what happens next.
5 “New Craig, Who Dis?” (S6, E8)
This season 6 episode is a funny, heartwarming one, as Shep got a dog and named him Little Craig after his best friend and co-star. In what is relatable for anyone who has welcomed a pet into their home, Shep had to learn to live with a new puppy.

This is also a stand-out Southern Charm episode because Cam celebrated her 35th birthday and had a bit too much to drink. It’s fun to see Cam let loose sometimes as she’s the “voice of reason” on the show. Those new to the show will want to watch more episodes after getting to know Shep and Cam better here.
4 “Outfoxed” (S6, E13)
While reality shows that focus on competition will always be dramatic, the series that talk about friendships can feature episodes that are also nail-biters. With this season 6 episode, Southern Charm fans saw how shaky Shep and Austen’s relationship was.
The most memorable storyline from season 6 was Shep getting mad at Austen for getting back together with Madison LeCroy. In Shep’s opinion, the two were toxic and it was a horrible idea for them to be romantically involved, but Austen wanted to listen to his heart. It’s impossible not to watch the next episode after this conflict.
3 “White Gloves Off” (S6, E14)
A proper season finale of a reality show needs to have one unexpected fight and the drama was out in full force in the season 6 finale. When Patricia threw a party that was just as fabulous as she is, Ashley Jacobs, who wasn’t a popular part of the cast when she dated Thomas, showed up. This was one of the most dramatic Southern Charm moments.
The cast wasn’t interested in seeing Ashley, especially since she told Patricia, “I know what you did and the truth will come out.” Patricia said, “She was not going to bring her cat on a hot trailer roof drama to this event.” Fans were shocked when a security guard made her leave, and this episode will make new fans want to go back and see every Ashley episode.
2 “The Good Shephard” (S7, E1)
Shep is famous for not dating anyone seriously and believing that if he did settle down, it would be a long time in the future. In the season 7 premiere, he introduced fans to his girlfriend Taylor Ann Green, and it was a welcome surprise to see Shep in a real relationship.

Leva Bonaparte joined the cast in season 7 and in this particular episode, she talked to Kathryn about the offensive monkey emoji that she posted on social media.
This just might be the most important episode of Southern Charm as Leva tried to make Kathryn see that this was problematic. Kathryn didn’t want to take responsibility for her actions, which is one reason why fans can’t support her anymore. This is a key episode as Leva wasn’t afraid to stand up for what is right.

What a Fucking Slap in the Face!
This was infuriating to watch. Kathryn Dennis took a shot at Cameran Eubanks and brought Thomas Ravenel back on the show.
There was no announcement, no warning that Ravenel was going to return to the show.
I haven’t researched this in greater details, but he was arrested and charged with assault and battery, and his children's nanny had accused him of rape!
He pled guilty to a third-degree assault and battery back in 2019.
I think that this was deal that was made as they couldn’t prove that he had raped the nanny.
That screams guilty as fuck. And in 2020, the worst year since Donald Trump moved into The White House, this is what we get from Bravo.
Season 5 was the girl power season of Southern Charm were they stood up to the chauvinistic system in Charleston.
They were riding on the wave of #MeToo, but what the hell is this?
It’s a fucking slap in the face.
Thankfully he won’t be back as a regular on the show, so I hope this is the last time we get to see Ravenel.
I mentioned season 5 as the girl power season, and it was also Kathryn’s redemption season.
But Kathryn is still bothered by old wounds and had apparently plans of destroying Cameran this season.
Kathryn tried to bring the cheating rumor up in front of the camera, but Craig Conover tried to shut her down as fast as he could.
What infuriated me was that Kathryn acted like she wanted Cameran to join a party and forget about her mommy guilt for a minute.
She appeared gleeful at the chance of confronting her about the rumor.
I actually feel sad for Cameran’s husband. He doesn’t want to be a part of the show. He appeared on the season finale last season and the first thing that happens next is this.
Everybody defended Cameran’s husband as the best person they’ve ever known, and I wonder how Kathryn’s tricks will effect the dynamics of the group.
And how do they feel about the loss of Cameran, Naomie Olindo, and Chelsea Meissner?

The future of Southern Charm is unknown after an explosive season 7 but fans can't get enough of the drama among this group of friends. In an interview, Shep Rose admitted that Bravo hasn't given the show the green light but fans are rooting for more. 7 Season 6
The sixth season added two women as full-time cast members, Naomi Orlando (who has been a friend of the series due to her relationship with Craig) and Thomas's family friend, Eliza Limehouse.

In this season, Kathryn found it hard to deal with Thomas's recent arrest and being a single mother. Likewise, Cameran was also a new mom who was trying to juggle work life and home life. Austen was still in a toxic relationship with Madison and Shep welcomed a new addition to his family: his dog, Little Craig. Sadly, this season was lackluster.
6 Season 7
Season 7 was the most recent season of the series but it wasn't as impactful as previous seasons. Leva Bonaparte and John Pringle joined the cast and they solidified their part on the show's roster. But as instrumental as Leva was as the first woman of color on the show, the main storyline throughout the season was the relationship between Austen and Madison. The reunion proved that these two were better without each other as the cast split sides for who they supported. Meanwhile, viewers saw Kathryn in a healthy new relationship while Shep was the most mature he had ever been in a season.
5 Season 3
Season 3 was Whitney's last time as a full-time cast member. He went on to be a friend of the series since then to focus on other career opportunities. Chelsea Meissner made her first appearance in this season as a guest before joining the cast as a full-time member two seasons later.
In this season, Kathryn was pregnant with baby number two, and Landon realized she had romantic feelings for her best friend Shep. But things changed when it appeared that Thomas and Landon liked each other instead. Between Thomas not being ready for a second baby with a woman he's no longer romantically linked to and Landon pining for a man who will never settle down, there were better seasons.
4 Season 5
Cameran was always on the fence about having kids but by season five, she was preparing herself for baby. Austen and Craig, on the other hand, were not close to family life in the slightest after breaking up with Chelsea and Naomi.

Tensions continue to rise among exes when Kathryn tried befriending her baby daddy's new girlfriend, Ashley. Ashley, however, was not interested in becoming friends with her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend that he clearly was still attached to. The tension between Ashely and everyone could be felt through the TV.
3 Season 1
The first season of Southern Charm introduced viewers to Thomas Ravenel, Whitney Sudler-Smith, Craig Conover, Cameran Eubanks, Jenna King, and Shep Rose. Jenna King only lasted one season and is often forgotten but Kathryn Dennis was also a guest in this season. Right off the bat, Southern Charm gave viewers the drama they were looking for when a fresh-faced Kathryn was being wooed by most of the gentlemen and found herself pregnant after being with both Thomas and Shep on separate occasions. It was the start of it all.
2 Season 2
As juicy as season one was, season two had it beat. This season showed what life was like for Kathryn and Thomas as new parents and as they embark on a new endeavor as Thomas ran for the U.S. Senate. In the ninth episode, the real drama occurred when everyone let go of their inhibitions in Landon's hometown. Most fans can still picture a very drunk Kathryn yelling at Whitney on the deck before running off on the beach with Craig. By the end of the season, Shep and Craig tried to find love while Kathryn was last seen screaming "Thomas!" while running after Thomas outside a venue.
1 Season 4
Season four said goodbye to Landon but it said hello to Austen. Seeing the unique dynamic between Austen and Shep fed into Shep's idea of him being the main guy in the group. The two were friends but battled when it came to flirting with women, primarily Chelsea. While Chelsea entertained the idea of Shep at first, she fell for Austen. But as they got together, Naomie and Craig were falling apart and went to therapy to work things out. In short, season 4 was all about relationships.
