Welcome to my Kawawii Island Villa! (Go Vacation)

I recently did some rearranging in my humble abode and I thought a little house tour would really do justice for the effort I put into decorating the place! So here we go!

First, the house exterior, but mainly the front entrance, my house is a Northern European home, and I chose like a sandy brown for the exterior color since that just seemed like the most realistic option available.

As soon as you head through the front door, you're greeted by a cactus on your way in. Facing into the home with the front door behind you, you find a bathroom to the right for quick access if you're stopping by and need to care for yourself. To the left are the stairs which go up to the kitchen and balcony area, keep going forward from the front door and you'll find the dining/living room area, as well as the door to my room.

Here is the dining/living room area, You got a table big enough to host a party of six people, and past that is the vanilla couch, TV, and the movie rack. I figured it was best to have the dining hall close to the TV area in case you wanted to watch whatever is on while eating.

Next up is my bedroom room. I had to take two shots of this to capture everything, because the room was rather small and it's hard to find a good angle.

I have a queen size bed (extra room = extra comfort for a restless sleeper like me), and long desk for stashing games and writing in my research journal. And a nice retro style game corner for some of that early 2000s nostalgia.

Next is a quick show off of the bathroom area, not much to really talk about here other than I had to improvise with what I had because the villa furnishings for some odd reason don't include things like sinks and toilets, so this is the best I've got.

Going upstairs you find yourself in this very spacious kitchen. I can imagine what you might be thinking here, isn't it a bit inconvenient to have a dining room downstairs and a kitchen upstairs? What if I'm trying to carefully carry something heavy like a nicely baked cake or a stuffed turkey? And you're right, that is a big inconvenience as well as a potential hazard.

However, since there is a huge balcony area adjacent to the kitchen that could serve as another dining hall, that remedies the issue with handling heavy food that might require securing with both hands.

And speaking of the balcony, that's our final stop! On the right side you have a table with 4 chairs and a parasol which, like I said, makes for a perfect alternative dining area if there's a special occasion that demands cake and turkey, plus, eating outside is kind of a celebration in itself isn't it?

To the left area you have a neat little relaxing space looking out into the lovely ocean, and it's the perfect spot for watching the fireworks light up at night! There's a bench in the center, with a glass coffee table in front. On both sides of the bench are rocking chairs, with round tables and parasols next to each, gotta have some place to set down your food and drinks.

And to cap off the tour, you have this nice little sleepy corner with a couch bed if you need some space and just want to relax outdoors. You also a couple small storage cabinets for snacks.

Friends are more than welcome to visit anytime they like! Just mind your manners and knock first if I'm ever in my room doing something, I tend to be flustered when approached by sudden guests.
