House-ad for Scarlett (1993), a creator-owned series about a high-school cheerleader who’s life is disrupted when her parents are brutally murdered and she finds she’s fated to lead a war against vampires. Despite similarities, it actually pre-dates Buffy the Vampire Slayer by three years.

Some simple idea
New Respawn AU
I and @lovenaiu like to call respawn Keith
He is just slade son, no ra's,no Talia, no Al ghuls.
Damian just adopted his brother's ex's brother as his new little brother even though they are the same age.
Just like he did with Maya, they're not related at all but they're family as well
damian acting like a proud big brother, Keith just existing and reminding him that they are the same age, Damian decides not to listen to him.
Maya, Keith and Damian making trouble around
Bruce just bugging out finding out that slade has a son, and that his own son just took him as a little brother.
Cute moments between Rose and Keith

But When Does The Ringleader Pay The Piper?
Our friend Keith writes about the latest sentencing of one of the perpetrators of the January 6th attempted coup/insurrection. It was, I believe, the longest sentence handed down in any of the J6 cases yet, but … the ringleader, the person who incited and encouraged these people to storm the Capitol, may never even come to trial. WHY??? Thanks, Keith, for all you do … and for the record, if…

Dusk in My Backyard
The long black night
moves over my walls:
inside a candle is lighted
by one of my daughters.
Even from here I can see
The illuminated eyes, bright
face of the child before the flame.
It’s nearly time to go in
The wind is cooler now,
Pecans drop, rattle down –
the tin roof of our house
rivers to platinum in the early moon,
Dogs bark and in the house, wine, laughter.

TRUTH BE TOLD MESSAGE FROM KEITH
TRUTH BE TOLD MESSAGE FROM KEITH
Keith Wilson
As a former Republican and now independent voter, it saddens me that to be a legitimate Republican, one has to endorse untruthful pronouncements by the losing former president and his sycophants. I don’t mind people espousing conservative ideas, but I do expect them to be truthful. Governing is hard enough when using facts, but nigh impossible when making decisions off lies.
Truth…

♫ Cat's in the Cradle ♫ (Redux)
I was planning to post another new one tonight, Keith’s third suggestion in his email (no, I’m not giving away the surprise!), but I’ve run out of both time (it’s already past 3:00 a.m. and my eyelids are heavy) and energy, so I’m reduxing one that I haven’t played for about 3 years. See, I visited Clive’s “Song Lyric Sunday” post from back on March 17th (okay, yeah, I’m a little behind the…
