Hey everyone! I decided to venture back to Tumblr! Since I last posted, a lot has happened. I published two books:

All of them are picture books! I’ll make bigger posts about them later so you can see the work that I did for them.

Well, it’s finally 2021. I have no idea if this year will be better than the last. One thing I’m excited to be an aunt and God mother this spring. My sister @jam_chong and her husband @chongkid will be having a baby boy this March. I’m hoping this post will kick up some more personal illustration work in the near future. I am thankful that my commercial work is booming but sometimes this girl needs to draw her own stuff.

Yesterday it snowed in Texas, we all went crazy, it was magical to have a break of the reality and feel like we were in Narnia for a few hours. I love all seasons, nature is amazing! ~iluzmarie
