Sakura Festival Masterlist - Masterlist
Tumblr media
Freezing cold rain dripped into your face, feeling like a thousand needles pricking your skin and blurring your vision. Your clothes were drenched, not just from the cold spring rain, but also sweat from the battle you had fought in the night. Now, through thick covers of rain heavy clouds, the sky began brightening, announcing the sunrise to not be long away.
"Over here!"
Your companion's voice carried over the drumming rain, and lifting your gaze, you found Tomioka heading straight to what looked like an abandoned shed. Well, less a shed than a roof held up by four wooden beams, but considering it was only raining and not storming, it should be enough for now. A sigh of relief brushed past your lips at the prospect of shelter, and quickly you hurried after the fellow demon slayer.
By the time you stepped underneath the roof, he had already thrown off his haori and crouched down beside an old fireplace in the middle of the area.
"The wood's dry," he mumbled, his voice filled with silent surprise. Indeed, the shelter seemed in surprisingly good shape. The roof wasn’t leaking and a stack of wood close to the fireplace seemed old but completely untouched by the weather.
Walking past the fireplace, you glanced out from underneath the roof at the other side. Before you opened a small garden, a stretch of grass, sprinkled with blooming cherry trees. Their blossoms seemed to glow in the twilight of the approaching morning, the rain glittering on their leaves like stars.
"What's wrong?" Tomioka had noticed you freezing at the edge of the small room, and alarmed, he quickly came up behind you, his hand already on the handle of his katana.
"It's beautiful," you breathed, momentarily even forgetting how cold you were.
Tomioka only hummed in agreement before turning back around, slightly annoyed to have been disturbed by such an unimportant thing as trees.
"Let's get a fire going," he mumbled instead, leaving you standing. You watched the rain tear at the petals another few moments before you pulled away from the sight and helped Tomioka with the fire.
It didn’t take you long to get the fire to a good size, not so big as that it would eat up unnecessarily big amounts of wood, but still big enough to warm you up and dry your haoris, which you had hung up on long sticks by the fire.
You had sat down a while ago, a safe distance away from Tomioka, your eyes fixed on the cherry trees in the rain, while you let your mind wander. It had not been the first time that you had been sent out on a mission with him, but somehow it felt as if your relationship was shifting with each time you met. It would have been a lie to claim you were not curious about the quiet Demon Slayer… although curious might be a strange word to use. Interested in him? Maybe… attracted even?
You shook your head slightly, watching as the pouring rain turned into a slight drizzle. It was foolish to think about him this way. Not only because he was a demon slayer and he faced death in the form of sharp demon teeth and long claws each night. Tomioka was one of the most skilled demon slayers you knew. You didn’t doubt he would survive for a long time. It was more because, well, because he was Tomioka. You had never met anyone else who was as quiet and grumpy as him. Holding conversations with him was hard since he hardly talked more than one or two sentences in one go. But the few times when he had, your conversations had stretched several hours, making you admire the young man even more than before. While his quietness caused other demon slayers to make fun of him and even mock him, you had been lucky to have gotten more insight into his character by now, understanding that inside he was angry and sad at and about the world. You wished you could help him, make him feel better somehow, but unless he let you in, which he hardly ever did, there was only so much you could do. And if he didn’t want to let you in, how was there ever to be a relationship other than that of work colleagues between you?
A tickling at the side of your face alarmed you to the fact that someone – Tomioka – was staring at you. Resisting the urge to turn to him, you kept your eyes focused on the trees. The clouds were still not finished with the downpour, although they had reduced it to a fine spray of morning rain, and a soft breeze had picked up, breaking them apart so the first beams of light could flicker through. It bounced off the rain drops on the pink petals of the cherry blossoms, looking like a thousand crystals glimmering in the light. You smiled at the sight, continuing to ignore Tomioka’s insistent staring. If each night fighting gruesome demons could end in a peaceful scenery like the one before you now… you certainly wouldn’t complain.
The fire flickered a little, and at your side Tomioka moved to grab his haori before he added more wood to the fire, making it lick up higher into the air as you continued watching the garden. The spray of rain continued, but the ground seemed to warm up, as soft white fog began lifting off the grass blades. It wasn’t hard to imagine a wood god, or a tree spirit to walk through the thin fog now, their paws glimmering with raindrops but still leaving no traces in the grass.
You startled as suddenly something touched your shoulder. Irritated you looked up to find Tomioka had grabbed your sleeve softly between his thumb and index finger. When your eyes met his ocean blue ones, he gently tucked at the fabric, making you furrow your brows. It was careful motion, as he tucked again, no force put into it, rather an invitation. Following it, you scooted a little closer to him, and closer again, when he kept tucking, until you were sitting side by side with him, close enough for your legs to touch.
Wordlessly he wrapped his haori first over your shoulders, then over his, the fabric barely big enough for both of you to fit. It had already dried next to the fire and only when you had sat for a few minutes, uncertain what to make of that sudden display of intimacy, you realized how cold you had gotten from the rain, and how nice the haori warmed you. But what was even warmer than the Haori, was Tomioka by your side. He felt almost like a living furnace as he sat still, almost stiffly by your side. You wanted to look over to him, wanted to see his expression, but something stopped you. Instead, you looked out over the garden again, trying to commit the sight of the beautiful blooming trees to your memory.
You were not sure when it had happened, but you startled when you felt your head lull to the side. Had you dozed off? Taking a deep breath, you were trying to sit up straight again, when suddenly Tomioka reached his hand up, gently guiding your head to rest against his shoulder, where you almost would have rested it before waking up again.
“You need to rest,” he whispered, his voice sounding deep and soothing from where it rumbled in his chest. “Sleep a little.”
You let him pull your head against his shoulder, feeling the stubborn hair of his tickle your face, which refused to be bound back by his hairband. Reaching up you brushed it aside enough to not be disturbed by it anymore before closing your eyes again. You had always struggled falling asleep in the company of other slayers, but something about Tomioka made it almost too easy to doze off. Maybe because you trusted him. You had almost fallen asleep again when a sudden thought stirred you back awake.
“Tomioka?”
He hummed to signal you that he was listening.
“Why are you doing this?”
He was quiet for a moment, hesitating to answer as if he were scared to get reprimanded, but then he said: “Because I’m not good with words. And I don’t know how else to show I care about you.”
Not opening your eyes, you furrowed your brows. “Why would you care about me?”
“’cause I like you. I hope that’s okay.”
His words didn’t fully process in your sleepy mind. Or maybe they did, they just didn’t trigger the same excited reaction they would have triggered had you been fully awake.
“Hm,” you hummed in response, “I like you too.”
And before Giyū could sort his thoughts out to answer to that sudden confession, your breaths were evening out and you had fallen asleep.
Giyū carefully turned his head, stealing a glance at your face and tucked his haori in place over your shoulders before he carefully rested his cheek against your hair. So you liked him too, huh? It felt like this was the first good news in a long time. It also meant you’d have to talk about this in more detail as soon as both of you were awake enough to do so. Maybe he’d finally find a way to convey his feelings to you then, like he had wanted to do for so long already. Giyū suppressed a yawn, and smiled to himself, taking a last glance at the cherry blossoms in the garden before he too closed his eyes and fell asleep to the feeling of you safely resting on his shoulder.

THE HANTENGU CLONES MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL :D
Tumblr media
"Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Tsukimi, is the biggest festival of Japan and other Asian countries." Sekido read about the history of the celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival. The traditional rituals and customs. But what catches Sekido the most interest was the moon-viewing ceremony. "Ahhh what a wonderful day we have today! Mid-Autumn Festival! Karaku's eyes sparkled with joy as he sees the moonlight illuminating the night sky. "I can't wait to see the moon tonight! The harvest moon is one of my favorite's!" His maple leaf Uchiwa fan glints off as he waves around in the clear moonlight. "The Moon-Viewing is one of the most famous and biggest ceremony of the Mid-Autumn Festival. People will traditionally gather at night outside, to enjoy watching the moon together with their friends and families." Sekido read further more about the moon-viewing ritual. "People will normally eat sweet cakes, dango, and other moon-viewing treats."
"Yes yes and the sweet snacks! I cannot wait to indulge in them~" Karaku licked his lips as he thought about the taste of the sweet treats on his tongue. "I wonder who's serving the snacks? I hope they have an abundance of them tonight." Urogi let's out a devilish laugh… Or should I say "Dango-ish laugh"? "That's what I was thinking too… I wonder who would be serving the delicious sweet snacks tonight? It would be a delight to stuff all them up in my big belly. I could just eat one… Or two… " Urogi makes a cute face when he is imagining about the sweets. Then Sekido paused.. the three brothers saw their forth brother, Aizetsu slump over his cloud bed.. Sekido looks down at his passed out brother with such disappointment and sorrow in his eyes. He sighs in a dejected state. "Poor Aizetsu. I didn't know why he was so depressed. No matter what I said to him, he refused to listen to our words. He's so different from the rest of us siblings. So weak." Sekido said with a frown.
Karaku felt his brother's forehead. It was cold and feverish. Karaku placed his Uchiwa fan away and looked down at his brother with such pity. "Aizetsu.. Your forehead feels very feverish. I think you got a flu." He sat down on his knees next to his brother. "Poor baby." He gently caressed his brother's forehead to make him feel better. He looked over at Sekido and Urogi. "He looks very sick." Sekido looked over at Urogi who was having a tantrum on the ground. He sighed in disappointment. "Urogi… You're a grown brother, yet you act like a child. Aizetsu is sick. He can't control that. Don't you dare make this situation even worse than it is. You will regret it if you do." Sekido gave Urogi a stern look with such seriousness in his eyes. "Is that understood.. Brother Urogi?~"
"Yes brother… I understand" Urogi replied. But he was still visibly upset because of Aizetsu's sickness. "Why can't Aizetsu just come with us and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival?" He asked in a whiny tone. "You know, he's always ruining the fun. Last time it was because of his sadness. Now it's just his sickness." Urogi let out a loud groan. "Huh…? What's that?" Urogi and Sekido both heard the sudden grunting coming from Aizetsu's body, as he lays motionless on his bed. Urogi approaches Aizetsu with such curiosity. He gently tapped his brother with his sharp talons, hoping to wake him up. "Aizetsu..?"
"Grkk… cough cough cough.. sniff sniff sniff.."
Aizetsu slowly awakens from his slumber. He was still very much fatigued and sick. He looks up at a concerned Urogi. "Ohh brother.." Aizetsu lets out a soft groan. "I… I'm sorry. I couldn't help it." Aizetsu covers his face in embarrassment. "I can't even stand on my own feet." Karaku put the decorations aside and approached his brother. With a soothing voice, Karaku spoke to him gently. "Aizetsu are you alright? Do you need some water? Let me help you up." He put his maple leaf Uchiwa fan away and stretched his hand out for Aizetsu. "Come here, I'll help you stand." Urogi was busy decorating the house with a few hanging decorations and candles on the walls. But once he sensed that Karaku and Aizetsu were near him, he had to go check on them.
"sigh.. Well, it's about time, huh? I hope this house is decorated enough to celebrate such a memorable occasion." Urogi approached Aizetsu and Karaku with a calm and relaxing gaze in his eyes. "Here, let me help you too." He offered his talons for Aizetsu to grab onto. As Urogi let go of the ladder. Sekido tumbled down and fell. he got angry at Urogi Sekido was so angry at Urogi that he immediately grabbed the ladder and chucked it at Urogi with pure frustration and irritation. "You… You…" Sekido didn't finish his sentence because he was too overwhelmed in anger. He clenched his Khakkhara tight in his hand and was about to swing it at both Urogi and Karaku before Aizetsu suddenly pulled him away.
"Sekido…! You can't just hit Urogi and Karaku." Aizetsu said in such disappointed tone. "Sekido.. cough cough"
Aizetsu covered his face back in embarrassment, as he watched his angered brother. But his condition hasn't fully recovered yet. Aizetsu felt such shame for being ill and having his brothers to cater to him. He looked away as he covered his face. "sniff sniff.. Sorry everyone." He looked back at them with tears in his eyes. Karaku happily picked up the ladder to decorate the house, he made it look perfect and nice just in time for the celebration. "Wow! It looks wonderful! I hope everyone likes what I did." As Karaku and Sekido finished decorating the house, Urogi approached Aizetsu and laid his brother down gently on the bed. His warm thighs gently wrap around his brother's body. "There, there.. Rest your weary body and warm yourself up." Urogi spoke to him with such soothing and caring tone.
Aizetsu smiled at his brother as a single, sweet tear drops from his cheeks. He was still very weak and fragile, so Urogi carrying him in such a way made him comfortable. He snuggled and hugged his brother's thighs, wanting to feel warm and cozy. "This feels so warm.. so comforting.. brother.. thank you.." Aizetsu said in a quiet and weak voice. His eyes were shut tightly as he let himself relax. Aizetsu was now sleeping peacefully on Urogi's lap. His body covered with warm and comfortable blankets. His feverish body was no longer in a burning mode. However, his body was still weak and tired. His face was calm and at peace. Now he truly looks like a tired child that just wanted to rest. But..
The Mid-Autumn Festival is just about to start. Aizetsu looked up at Urogi with a soft smile on his weary face. He doesn't want to miss the festival. "Awwh.. Look how peaceful Aizetsu is sleeping right now with Urogi." Karaku giggled in the corner while preparing the sweets and sake for the celebration "I feel so bad for him.. If only he could've enjoyed the festival with the rest of us.."
Karaku sighed as he finished up on the mochi's. He then poured the warm sake into a cup for Aizetsu, putting it by his bedside next to Urogi. "Drink slowly now, don't want you to get sick again."
Sekido walks out of the house in a grumpy mood while waving his Khakkhara around. He grunted angrily as he headed towards a pile of mochi ingredients ready to be pounded into mochi's. "I'm not in the mood to pound. Go away." Sekido scoffs but still starts to pound the mochi ingredients. Karaku can see that Sekido was not amused at all in this task.
"Hmm.. Someone is acting a little grumpy today." Karaku giggled as he walked outside. As soon as he noticed Sekido's lack of enthusiasm, he decided to take over and pound the mochi ingredients himself. "Here, let me help you." Karaku took the wooden mochi stick from him and started to pound hard on the mochi dough. Karaku was determined to make Sekido not act sulky anymore. "Mm.. Mm…" Aizetsu wakes up to such a loud noise coming from outside the house. He looked over at Urogi's direction for a moment. "What's all that ruckus?…." Aizetsu looked at Sekido and Karaku, who were outside busy pounding the dough. But seeing the two brothers acting together in such a cheerful attitude made Aizetsu feel happy. He felt joy in his heart. "Heh heh~.. I really enjoy seeing you two get along." Aizetsu said with a soft smile.
Sekido let out a loud scream of pain as Karaku accidentally hit his hand with the mallet. He glared at Karaku with a scowl on his face. "Idiot." Aizetsu had a look of worry in his eyes as he heard the commotion. He turned to Urogi for support. "Could you please calm Sekido down?.." Aizetsu was a bit worried about the outcome of this. But it seems like the two brothers are too caught up with the mochi-making process.
Urogi looked over at the commotion and saw Sekido holding up his hand in frustration at Karaku. Urogi could see the look of worry on Aizetsu's face, and he knew what he had to do. "Alright, alright. Calm down now. It was just an accident. There's no need to cause any trouble. We're all here to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival." Urogi went over to Karaku and pat his back. "I'll let you finish making all the mochi's. I'll take over the dango-making." Sekido rolled his eyes as he gave Karaku an angry glare but said nothing. Karaku laughed nervously after accidentally whacking Sekido's hand. "I'm sorry, Sekido… I got distracted… My bad, little brother." Sekido kept quiet as he helped Karaku make some mochi. "Pffft. Whatever.. Just finish faster so I can finish pounding this mochi dough." Sekido whispered to himself while rolling his eyes.
Urogi laughed and nodded as the two brothers, once again, started to pound the mochi dough to create the famous "Mochi" that is eaten during the festival. Aizetsu let out a small "heheh" laugh as he watched the two fighting brothers work together peacefully. Urogi looked over at Aizetsu and then smiled. "Ah, It's good to be together and helping each other out, isn't it?" Karaku smiled sweetly at Aizetsu as he gently handed him the mochi. "Hey brother.. I hope this cheers you up…" Aizetsu gave Karaku a soft smile back as he took a bite of the fluffy and delectable mochi. "Mm… thank you brother. This is delicious." Aizetsu ate his mochi while laying down on his bed. He looked so peaceful and happy.
Sekido grumbled in annoyance as he looked at the time. "Huh..? We're a bit late for the festival. We better hurry up then." Sekido placed down the mochi dough he was pounding and was ready to head out. But he noticed that Aizetsu was still in bed. "Oh… Right. Forgot that my brother was sick. He can still enjoy the fest at home then~" Sekido said casually as he headed for the front door ready to go down the mountain. Aizetsu was feeling the same way as he watched his brothers getting ready to leave. He didn't like the idea of being left alone in the house.. The poor demon boy let out a heavy sigh as he looked down at the floor. He was still very weak and frail, but he desperately wanted to join his brothers for the festival. "I wish.. I can go out with you guys….." Aizetsu was getting a bit choked up, and the tears started to fall down his cheeks.
Sekido was about to turn the doorknob to head for the festival outside the door.. but when he saw his brother tearing up and being upset, he stopped himself. "Hey.. hey Aizetsu.. Don't cry." Sekido approached his crying younger brother's bedside with such worry and care. "Shh… We're not leaving you back here. You're our baby brother.. and we'll be here with you. So come on, cheer up alright?" Sekido said this all with a sweet and reassuring smile on his face. "Yeah, what Sekido said." Karaku spoke up as he also walked over to Aizetsu's bedside with a smile on his face. He put his maple leaf Uchiwa fan on the bedside table. "Don't be sad, Aizetsu. We're not leaving you behind. You're important to us. We'll celebrate the festival right here with you." Karaku said this with such comfort and a sweet tone. He gently hugged Aizetsu to comfort him.
Sekido saw Aizetsu trying to get up, but his legs refused to hold his frail body. He quickly helped Aizetsu back onto his bed with such care and concern. "Aizetsu! What do you think your doing? You need to rest. Stop acting so stubborn." Sekido gave his younger brother a stern look, hoping that he would stay put on his bed rest. "There.. Now don't you move." Sekido said this in a protective manner while placing his Khakkhara on the bed next to Aizetsu. Aizetsu's emotional tears grew louder and louder. He looked like a little kid having a tantrum. But he couldn't help it.. "I DONT WANT TO STAY AT HOME! I WANNA COME OUTSIDE WITH YOU GUYS!" Aizetsu yelled in frustration, as tears kept streaming down his face. "PLEASE sniff…. I DONT WANNA MISS THE MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL…" Aizetsu let out more tearful cries and his face was covered with tears.
"Aizetsu.. Aizetsu.. Look at me." Karaku spoke calmly and sweetly. He placed his hands on Aizetsu's shoulders and looked at his tearful face. "Everything will be alright.. We'll celebrate with you here." "You won't miss out on anything. We'll make you mochi's and dango's. And then we'll tell you stories about the Mid-Autumn festival." Karaku smiled softly, trying to cheer up his little brother.
The thought of missing out on the lanterns, parade, foods, markets, and fun activities hit Urogi hard. Urogi spoke in frustration and irritation as he heard Karaku's explanation about celebrating the festival inside the house. "It's not the same! The mid-autumn Festival is all about the lights and the lanterns! And the parade! And the fireworks! And the food! And the fun activities! And the marketplace! And the music! "And we'll miss out all of that and more if we're just stuck inside the house while everyone outside is having fun!" Urogi said this with a pout on his face and an angry tone.
"Hey.. hey Urogi! Calm down.. Aizetsu is already very weak and frail. He can't come outside, I won't let him. He's still recovering you know. He still can't handle being active, and that's why we have to celebrate the mid-autumn festival here inside the house." Sekido had a serious expression on his face as he said this. He was the older brother after all, and he had every right to be protective. "We're not going to compromise his health for a single festival."
Urogi shouted in extreme frustration and annoyance. "But-.. But! The mid-autumn festival is the biggest festival in the year! It's our favorite! And it's so fun! And… and… And…!" Urogi couldn't help but to raise his voice in such irritation. He was becoming so unreasonable and irrational. But to him, the idea of having to be inside the house for the festival was just… UNTHINKABLE!!
"U-Urogi… sniff Please.. sniff Calm down…" Aizetsu looked at Urogi with such an uncomfortable look. His face was still very sensitive and weak, so Urogi's shouting was hurting his ears. "Urogi.. Brother… sniff sniff We can't do anything… about it. I'm still recovering…" Aizetsu said this with tears still coming down his face. He was sadden by his brothers having such a huge fight… in front of him too.. "Look, guys… How about we compromise and do something special for the festival within the house?" Karaku said this with a smile on his face, hoping that it will settle the dispute between his two brothers. "We can still make it fun here, you know? We can decorate the walls with lanterns and lights. We can make it look like the festival inside the house. And we can have a whole bunch of dango and mochi too." Karaku's eyes sparkles as he imagined the idea of having a mini-mid-autumn festival inside the house.
Sekido scowled in annoyance at the idea of having a mini-mid-autumn festival inside the house, but he let out a deep sigh.. knowing there's nothing he can do about it. "Urgh… Fine.. I guess your right. I do like the idea of decorating the walls with lanterns and lights. And having some free dango and mochi is also a plus." Sekido said all grouchy but he let out a small smile. He was beginning to appreciate the idea of having a mini-festival inside the house.
Aizetsu was torn in between. He couldn't deny that having a mini-festival inside was a nice idea and it could be lots of fun.. but he still wanted to be with his brothers and celebrate with them in the mountain. Aizetsu looked down with a conflicted look. He was trying to make up his mind but it was impossible to decide. Because he genuinely wanted both options. "I… sniff I don't.. know…" Aizetsu couldn't make his choice..
"Aizetsu.. Look. The thing is… even if you came to the festival with us. You would be sitting or laying down the whole time. I can't take a risk with your recovery just for a single day.. Just be patient.. One day you'll be fully recovered. And then we can celebrate the mid-autumn festival all the way we want." Karaku said this in a protective manner. He was trying to be reassuring towards his frail little brother. "That's why we're having a mini-mid-autumn festival right here in our house."
Sekido was feeling a bit annoyed with his little brother. He was still in disbelief even when his brothers explained the situation to him.. "It'll be fine, Aizetsu. Just stay at home like we told you." Sekido started to sound a bit annoyed in his tone. "Don't argue with this decision. We're not going to take any risks. And you don't have the strength to celebrate the festival anyways, little brother." Sekido said this all with an even deeper annoyed voice, just for Aizetsu to get the message..
The tension was building up between the brothers as Aizetsu and Urogi were still against the idea of having a mini-festival inside the house. But Sekido knew that they wouldn't budge. The older two brothers had to be strong and protective of the younger demon who was still recovering and in a frail state. The two elder brothers had to take a deep breath and calm themselves down while trying to convince the younger brothers to listen.
"I know! I know it's going to be boring! But we don't have a choice here. Aizetsu can't go outside. He's still very weak and he could get sick.." Sekido said this in a firm, but kind manner to Urogi. He wanted to reason with Urogi, so that he wouldn't cause any unnecessary trouble. "Urogi can't you see how weak our brother is? He needs to rest for awhile longer before he could do any activities." Sekido pointed at the very weak Aizetsu. Urogi was absolutely furious!"But, I wanna go outside! I wanna go outside! I DONT WANT TO MISS OUT ON ALL THE FUN!!" Urogi let out angry and whiny shouts. He continued to resist and rebel against Sekido's attempts of reasoning. "I don't wanna miss out on the parade, and the fun, and the lanterns! And the fireworks! And the foods! And the music! And the marketplace! And the fun activities! "I.. I.. I.. I wanna celebrate with everyone else!!"
Aizetsu slowly managed to get up on his two feet with much effort, he was still feeling weak, tired, and feeble. But he was determined to celebrate the festival with his brothers. Aizetsu then walked around the room on his own. Even though he was weak and frail, he wanted to show his courage. "I won't miss out on everything just because I'm sick…" Aizetsu said this in a stubborn tone. Karaku and Sekido both look at Aizetsu with such worried and care, as he got himself up on his legs. Aizetsu was still very weak and frail, but Aizetsu had a lot determination and courage to try and participate in the Festival with his brothers. "Aizetsu! What the hell are you doing?! You can't go outside. You're still sick and you're weak! Remember what mother said about resting, right? And besides, if you participate in this festival while feeling frail, you'll just get sick again…" Sekido said as he grabbed Aizetsu but his hand slipped and slapped Sekido's cheek very hard, he staggered back in pain.
"HEY! Don't ever raise your hands at Sekido like that!" Karaku was extremely angry and hurt after seeing Aizetsu slap his older brother, Sekido. "I don't care if you're weak and sick! YOU'LL STAY HERE WITH US!! YOU HEAR ME!?" Karaku yelled at Aizetsu in a furious and harsh tone, but he was clearly just protective over his beloved younger brother. Sekido was caught off guard and surprised by the slap Aizetsu gave him. He let out a loud and annoyed groan of annoyance. "Look Aizetsu.. we're not letting you participate in the festival while you're still weak and sick. You'll just get worse and more sick. And you're not risking yourself for a silly festival."
Aizetsu ran off outside and yelled at his brothers as he went out the door. "I don't care! I'm not missing out on the festival of all festivals! I'll be fine! I'll just rest once I get back-!" Aizetsu then ran off to the town's festival, determined to enjoy himself regardless of his condition. Karaku, Sekido, and Urogi chased after the demon boy, desperate to catch up to him and bring him back home. Karaku tried to catch up to Aizetsu, but quickly fell behind as his brother was surprisingly quick for someone in his weakened state. "Aizetsu! Wait! Don't go outside alone! You're weak and in no shape to walk outside!" Karaku yelled out in panic as he tried to catch up to his brother. He was getting worried. He wanted to make sure that Aizetsu was safe and didn't get hurt while being out the house.
"Finally~.. We can go out now~" Urogi smiled excitedly as he and Sekido pushed the door open and stepped outside to follow after Aizetsu. They both ran out of the house and into the town where the Mid-Autumn Festival was taking place. Urogi let out a loud "woohoo" as he looked at all the lights, lanterns, fireworks, and parade that they were missing out on. He was feeling joyful! "Ah.. ah… It feels so good to be out of the house.." Urogi muttered to himself in delight. Sekido also pushed the door open, and he ran outside with the other two brothers. He wasn't as happy as Urogi when he saw what the Festival had to offer. But since Sekido was in a protective and more rational mindset, he knew to be serious about the situation. He ran outside the house with such urgency. "Aizetsu! Wait for us!" Sekido kept yelling at Aizetsu, as he ran out with his other two brothers. He was the older brother after all, and he had a responsibility to protect him.
Urogi and Sekido, seeing that Aizetsu already running up the hill, decided to pick up the pace as well. Both bros started to run at full speed in order to catch up to him. "Aizetsu! Wait for us! We're coming!" At no time, that they would have imagined that Aizetsu would be this fast, even when he was weak and frail. But alas, here they were. "Huff huff.. puff.. hmph…" Urogi said in a hurry, as he tried to catch up to Aizetsu. Karaku managed to reach the top of the hill first, and looked around for Aizetsu. He spotted him standing in the middle of the area, and quickly approached him. "Aizetsu! What are you doing here?! You cant be out here.." Karaku said this in a frantic and worried tone as he stood in front of Aizetsu, blocking him from the view of the moon. He was being protective over his little brother. Aizetsu was still in a weakened state, and Karaku didn't want him to faint just to watch the moon.
Aizetsu pointed his spear at Karaku and threatened him. He was determined to make it to the moon viewing event and see the beautiful moon at its apex. "Get out of my way… NOW!!" Aizetsu yelled at Karaku in anger. He wanted to experience the Festival with his brothers. Even if it meant to put his health and life in jeopardy just to be excited about being here after having missed out last year's festival. Sekido arrived with Urogi and saw the scene. They quickly caught up to both Karaku and Aizetsu. But seeing how Aizetsu was now armed with his spear and was threatening Karaku, Sekido stepped in front of the little boy "Aizetsu! Stop it! Put the spear down now! You're not in the right headspace to participate in the Festival in your weak and frail state!" Sekido said this in a stern and protective tone. He was going to make sure that Aizetsu complied. He didn't want Aizetsu getting more hurt or sick.
Aizetsu didn't want to put his weapon down. He felt determined to watch the beautiful full moon. Aizetsu let out a grunter of anger at the three brothers trying to stop him. He then tried to push Sekido away, so that he could find a spot in the moon viewing section of the festival. "Dammit… I am going to miss out on this Festival just like what happened last year. GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY! I WANT TO WATCH THE MOON!!" Aizetsu yelled out as he attempted to push Sekido away.
Aizetsu was too distracted in his attacks against Sekido, so he wasn't able to react to Karaku's surprise tackle. "Gahh! Dammit!" Aizetsu tried to fight back against Karaku, as he was on top of him. But with his weakened and frail state, the demon was quickly overpowered. He couldn't move, and he just laid there, exhausted and defeated by the fact he can't celebrate the festival with everyone else. Aizetsu finally accepted his loss, as Karaku pinned him down to the ground. He was completely overpowered by the brothers. Aizetsu then began to break down in tears. He apologized for his behavior, knowing that he has failed to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with everyone else. "I'm sorry for being so irresponsible…" Aizetsu's voice was filled with both sadness and remorse as he broke down crying in front of his brothers.
"It's alright Aizetsu… But I think this is a good lesson learned. You can't do what you want when you're too weak and frail to do it. So next year, make sure you get a good night sleep before the festival occurs…" Karaku comforted Aizetsu and gave him a pat on the back. Karaku also knew that Aizetsu deeply cared about the festival, but he also knew that being in such a state and participating in the festival would just be a detriment to his health and well being. "Aizetsu.. please understand that we're doing this for your own good. We don't want you to get hurt or pass out during the festival. You really need to get some rest. Next year, we'll let you have your fun, alright?" Karaku said this in a kind tone as he continued to comfort Aizetsu and give him a pat on the back. Karaku just wanted to make sure that his weak and frail little brother was safe and okay.
Urogi had some extra mooncakes on him that he brought from the market. He offered one of the mooncakes to Aizetsu, as a way to make up for missing out on the mid-autumn festival. "Here, have a mooncake, Aizetsu. We got it as a way to celebrate the mid-autumn festival with you." Urogi said this as he handed over a warm, freshly baked mooncake to his little brother. "Thank you…" Aizetsu said this softly as he took the freshly baked mooncake from Urogi. He was too sad and drained of energy to continue fighting. Aizetsu then took a bite from the warm mooncake, and enjoyed the taste of the food. "This mooncake is really good…" Aizetsu said this in a tired and drowsy voice. He had already eaten almost half of the mooncake.
Urogi, seeing the importance lesson that Sekido pointed out, agreed with his bro. "Yeah, you are right Sekido… Family always comes first… So I won't forget this lesson…" Urogi then had a warm smile on his face as he ate his mooncake in order to celebrate the day. "You know… I think this day wasn't so bad. I'm glad I get to spend time with you guys, regardless of not celebrating the festival…" "Mhm! In the end, we had a little celebration of our own, right here." Sekido then took a bite from his mooncake, and savored the taste of it. He felt a little relieved in his stomach after just having a meal. "Family does come first! So Aizetsu should take the lesson that he learned today into consideration! And just because he didn't celebrate the festival this year, doesn't mean that he'll miss out on next year's festival." Sekido looked over at Aizetsu with a soft and reassuring smile.
Aizetsu was comforted by Karaku's hug. He was glad to see the sight of the lanterns being launched, as it was a sign of what the festival is all about. Seeing the lanterns in the sky was enough for him. "Yessss…. This day was definitely not that bad…" Aizetsu, now feeling very tired and sleepy, slowly closed his eyes… He was ready for his much needed rest. Afterall, tonight is going to be a night for some celebrations… and fireworks… and more mooncakes… and lanterns… Urogi, along with Karaku and Sekido, had a moment together where they watched the lanterns flying off. They all had a sense of happiness in seeing the lanterns being lit in the sky. "Yes, brothers. This day has definitely been a memorable one. There's more mooncakes and fireworks tonight, so we definitely won't be missing out on those things." Urogi let out a few chuckles. "Let's go, brothers… A day like this definitely deserves to be celebrated with lots of good food and fireworks~"
"Absolutely, Urogi! Come, let us go back home, so that we may prepare for the celebrations! The Mid-Autumn Festival is not complete without friends, food, and fireworks!" Karaku said this in a cheerful tone as he picked up Aizetsu, and began to head home with his brothers. Aizetsu was in need of rest after all, and there was always more celebrating to do. Even if he missed out on today's festival, he would still have tonight to look forward to. "The Moon Festival is not over yet~" Aizetsu, now in the comforts of Karaku's arms, slowly drifted off to sleep. He was in need for some much needed rest after today. But his bros and him still had their own little celebration to finish off the night and the festival. Karaku had Aizetsu all snuggled up in his big, strong arms during this time.
Urogi and Sekido tucked Aizetsu into his bed and made sure he was comfortable. They were both concerned for their little brother's health. All they wanted was to make sure that he rested well and recovered from his weak and frail state. He needed as much rest and relaxation as he could get. "Aizetsu, please sleep well. Take as much time as you need to get better. We'll all celebrate and have fun tonight…" Urogi wished his little bro a well-rested sleep and headed upstairs with Sekido to make some preparations. Karaku stayed with Aizetsu for a little while longer once Urogi and Sekido left. He was still slightly worried and concerned about Aizetsu's weak and frail state. So he decided to check in on him once again to make sure that he was okay. "Aizetsu, are you comfortable? Is there anything you need?" Karaku asked this in a soft, gentle tone as he looked down at Aizetsu. He just wanted to make sure that his little brother was comfortable while he was resting.
"I…I'm okay," Aizetsu muttered in a very drowsy and sleepy voice. He slowly opened his eyes and looked up at Karaku. "The blankets are comfortable…." Aizetsu commented as he buried himself deeper into his bed covers. He was definitely tired and sleepy, and just wanted to continue resting in peace."I think I'm going to sleep more now… Thank you for your concern Karaku…" Aizetsu muttered in a tired and drowsy voice, as if he couldn't even form a proper sentence right now. "It's no problem, Aizetsu. That's what big brothers are for." "You rest easy now. We'll celebrate tonight and have some fun." Karaku said this in a kind and reassuring tone as he patted Aizetsu on the head lightly. He then got up from Aizetsu's bed and went upstairs to join his brothers in order to get prepared for the nightly celebration.
Urogi and Sekido both went upstairs, and waited for Karaku to join them for the night's celebration. Sekido was the first to speak up. "Aizetsu's really gonna have a good night sleep tonight…" "Yess!! We should prepare the fireworks right now!" Urogi said this in an excited tone, as he was already anticipating the night's events. He wanted the celebrations to be a perfect experience for his little brother tonight. He knew that Aizetsu would be overjoyed to see the fireworks after having slept through the festival.
The brothers began to make preparations for the night's celebration. They would prepare a feast of delicious foods and set up fireworks to light up the sky. They knew that today wasn't a great day for Aizetsu, but they were still determined to have fun tonight and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival properly with their little devilish brother. They all started to work on these preparations together, as they wanted to create a night of celebrations for their little bro~
Karaku was also determined to make the celebration for Aizetsu be perfect. All of this preparation was made for Aizetsu, as he was too weak to participate in today's celebration. It wouldn't be fair for him to be left out tonight after having missed the Mid-Autumn Festival in full. Every little detail was made with love and attention to detail, just for their little devilish demon brother. After everything was done, they'd have a feast for Aizetsu, along with the beautiful fireworks lighting up the sky above. It would be a magical night for everyone.
"Alright, everything's almost ready! Now, let's head outside for the fireworks display!" Sekido suggested and the brothers all made their way outside. "Aizetsu, we are ready with the fireworks display for you, brother~" Urogi declared as he had a bright smile on his face.
Aizetsu, now fully rested and recovered from his weak and frail state, stepped outside with the rest of his brothers. He looked over at the fireworks display and let out a gasp. "Wow… It's so beautiful…." Aizetsu was mesmerized by the sight of the fireworks in the night sky, with the bright moon as the backdrop. "Thank you, brothers…." He bowed to his brothers and thanked them for giving him this wonderful night. He was really happy to be spending it with them~ "Ah, Aizetsu it's no problem. We wanted to make sure you didn't miss out on the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration. You've had a tough day, so we thought you would need this." Karaku said this while he had a smile on his face. He too was happy to see Aizetsu enjoying himself and having a great night. It was about time that Aizetsu had fun and relaxed. He was still a sensitive demon and he deserved to have fun.

Haganezuka x Kanamori /Hagamori/ (Scene 2 ~A drunken kiss~)
Haganezuka had just finished a long day of hard work. While Haganezuka worked in his rather gloomy excuse of a work room he was interrupted with a knock on his door. A soft and quiet knock that Haganezuka knew could only be Kanamori. As he told whoever was outside to come in he looked back to his craft.
And of course he was correct. It was Kanamori. Kanamori walked in and took a seat at his usual spot on the stool directly in front of Haganezuka. He simply stared at him for a while.
Haganezuka noticed that ever since their beach day or rather, ever since their first kiss things had become slightly awkward between them but that hasn't stopped Kanamori from still paying regular visits. Though they hadn't made their relationship official they still shared quite a few intimate moments since then.
Suddenly, Kanamori spoke up. "You know the festival is later today right?" He spoke, his red mask covering his features. "Yes. And?" Haganezuka replied in a gruff tone. "Well, you are going right?" Kanamori had a hopeful tone in his voice that made Haganezuka melt from the inside.
"Why would I go to that damned festival? It isn't anything cool. Just people fooling around thinking life is so great." Haganezuka had never once attended the yearly festival that the swordsmiths had. It was a large party where the swordsmiths were allowed to relax for the night and hang out with friends. Party with lovers or even play with your children. Haganezuka never found a reason to go to the foolish gathering and simply stayed home.
Kanamori stood up and took Haganezuka's hand into his. "Because I want you to go with me. I usually go with just Kotetsu but I want you to go this year. You skip out every single time. Just this once. Please??" Haganezuka stared in the slightest bit of shock. He felt a fluttering warmth erupt in his chest. Kanamori's hand on his own rough skin. Without really thinking about it he nodded. Kanamori immediately brightened and began to cheer quietly.
He was a small child being promised a new toy. "Okay! I'll see you there!" Kanamori yelled before running out of the small "work space". Haganezuka groaned. He didn't understand why he nodded. He really didn't want to go but to see how much Kanamori wanted him to be there made him soft. He couldn't let Kanamori down.
"I'm dying." Haganezuka said to himself as he set his head down on his small table.
-------------------
Haganezuka sat in his small two room home that was provided to every swordsmith from Tecchin. His bed was rather small but he still stretched out like a starfish. A knock at his door sounded in the rather quit room. Kanamori's knock. Haganezuka sat up and walked over to the door. He opened it and was greeted with Kanamori who was rather nicely dressed in a black kimono and a red haori.
The black kimono was patterned with white and grey flowers, and the haori was a beautiful crimson. Kanamori's hair was fluffed up nicely and Haganezuka could swear that Kanamori had lip gloss of some sort on. Kanamori smiled, his mask being off due to the fact that their masks don't need to be on during the festival.
Haganezuka felt his heart skip a beat. His cheeks flushed a very subtle pink. "You look...nice." He mumbled under a deep breath. Kanamori nodded a blushed thank you. Haganezuka didn't own many nice clothes so his outfit was mainly just a plain kimono with an equally as plain hakama.
Kanamori didn't seem to mind however. "Well come on." Kanamori took Haganezuka's hand and pulled him along out of his small living space. Haganezuka still got flustered easily when Kanamori held his hand. His hands had always been rough and hard compared to Kanamori's soft and supple skin.
Kanamori's skin glazing over his own, just the smallest touch and Haganezuka would turn red. When they both reached the entrance of the festival they parted hands and Kanamori looked away, avoiding eye contact with the other.
Walking over to them was a familiar young boy. "Well, you actually got him to come." Kotetsu smiled. Even he was dressed nicely and Haganezuka felt out of place. Kanamori laughed, "Yeah pretty easily to. Don't you just love me Hotaru." Kanamori smiled and Haganezuka yelled.
"Shut up!"
Kanamori smiled warmly and took his hand again. Kotetsu would've started foaming at the mouth if it hadn't been for the abundance of people around the three. "Well come on! Let's have a good time." Kotetsu laughed and pulled the two along with him. The night consisted of Kotetsu dancing with Kanamori, Haganezuka being forced to dance with Kotetsu, (Kotetsu's mother was giving Haganezuka a cold side eye) and Kanamori dancing with Haganezuka during slow dances and fast ones.
Kanamori was doing another small dance with Haganezuka. Kanamori stared deeply into his eyes though Haganezuka couldn't make eye contact for very long. As the two swayed together in a quiet embrace Kanamori asked in a hushed voice, "Will you be my boyfriend?"
Haganezuka froze on the spot and almost chocked on his own spit. "Well that's uh..sudden?" Haganezuka chuckled with a red on his face. "Well?" Kanamori tilted his head down hoping for an answer. "Well...Uhm. Sure." Haganezuka answered simply, his hair covering his features as he looked down at the ground.
Kanamori smiled and set his finger under Haganezuka's chin, lifted his head up and giving him a quick kiss.
Haganezuka blushed like mad and Kanamori laughed. "Stop laughing at me." Haganezuka demanded though his voice was shaky from embarrassment. "You're cute." Kanamori looked at him with a teasing grin. Haganezuka shoved Kanamori's face to the side in anger and embarrassment, "I said shut your mouth!"
Kanamori kept laughing though.
(Yes. Now Kotetsu was foaming at the mouth.)
-------------------
After the small festival, (And shoving his mouth full of food) Haganezuka and Kanamori decided to go get a drink together. Kanamori suggested it and again, Haganezuka was so out of it that he just agreed again without thinking about the question.
They had sat in a bar that was slightly off the path to the festival. This bar was ran by Kanamori's good friend Yoko. Yoko was an energetic woman and her bar was a safe space for many swordsmiths during night and day.
When they walked in she greeted them happily. Usually she should be in the village that housed the women and children but on a normal bases she was instead at this very bar. She wore a pink and purple kimono and her arms had a lot more muscle than the average women.
"So what do you two want?" Yoko leaned on the counter that Haganezuka and Kanamori sat at. Kanamori asked for "the usual" and Haganezuka asked for a simple small cup of beer. Yoko nodded and made her way to the back room to prepare the drinks.
"So, you come here a lot?" Haganezuka asked since Kanamori asked for "the usual". Kanamori shook his head, "Not really. I come here quite a bit to talk to Yoko but not to drink. I only do that on special occasions. Haganezuka nodded as he listened.
When the drink did finally get to them, Haganezuka had a smaller mug of beer and Kanamori had a decent sized cup of clear liquid. Haganezuka didn't know exactly what it was but it smelled strong, tingling his nose hairs.
As the two talked and drank Kanamori was slowly loosing himself. Haganezuka could tell very clearly by the drunken blush on his cheeks and the rather bold behavior he put forth. Kanamori was usually very considerate of what he would say but in this state he was bolder than the bold font itself.
"Haganezuka...Do deer have inner thoughts about cheese sometimes?" Kanamori asked totally out of himself. Haganezuka snorted at the question. "No, I don't know." He replied.
Kanamori looked at him and sat up straight. The bar was empty now aside from Yoko who wasn't even in the main bar room. It was late and the crickets sounded their daily noise to fill the night air. Haganezuka sat at the counter in silence until he felt Kanamori take a lock of Haganezuka's hair and tuck it behind his ear, easily revealing Haganezuka's face.
Haganezuka looked at Kanamori with a light blush. He didn't know why or how he blushed so easily, especially with how stern of a man he normally was. Kanamori turned Haganezuka's head to face him. His finger pressing lightly under chin, and a warm smile on his face.
Haganezuka himself didn't really known where the other was taking it but Kanamori's soft hand on his face was enough to make Haganezuka freak out. His heart beating faster in his chest and that warmth spreading all over his body.
"Kanamori.?" Haganezuka stared into the others eyes, they were filled with a drunken passion that Haganezuka could not explain. Kanamori leaned closer and closed the gap between them. Haganezuka kissed back though he wasn't a very good kisser.
Kanamori however, made it clear he didn't care. Kanamori squirmed his tongue between Haganezuka's lips and ran it along the walls of Haganezuka's mouth. Their tongues intertwining as Haganezuka's eyebrows furrowed. Kanamori rose his hand into Haganezuka's hair running his fingers through it and giving it a soft pull.
Haganezuka a bit of drool trail down his chin as he was slowly pushed down by Kanamori. Haganezuka felt the firm grip the ladder had on his neck and Haganezuka couldn't help be drawn to it. The aggressiveness in the other made Haganezuka's body grow warm. The way Kanamori pulled at his hair as he kissing him with such dominance gave Haganezuka a shiver up his spine that he had never felt before.
Kanamori parted their lips after ten whole minutes. Haganezuka's breath was heavy and Kanamori was leaning close. Haganezuka sighed and pulled Kanamori up to his feet. "I'm taking you home." Haganezuka spoke after wiping his mouth.
"Oh but why?" Kanamori asked as he stumbled around slightly. "Because. Now come on." Haganezuka lifted Kanamori off his feet and carried him out of the bar.
If he didn't brush his teeth good enough, he was definitely going to taste Kanamori in the morning...

EAUGH
Them *Heart Emoji*
I was kind of tired when I wrote this so it might not be as good as the rest of my writing but I tried and I was pretty happy. Yes Kotetsu is still a stalker and yes Kotetsu did see everything. And so did Yoko.
I love them so much. And this also shows my view on the fact that I think Haganezuka would like somebody who's aggressive with him....

I made this before butta imma post it again.
Huge power gaps are fun to play with So I had an idea again.
So Sugar momma Fem Giyuu... well not momma yet as she is still in highschool (18) on her third year.
Thing is, her sister married a super rich man when she was 12 or so, and now she has to deal with many assasins and death threats and stuff like that.
Giyuu didn't tell them about this to Tsutako because she handled herself pretty good, but then the information that she almost died because her school had an explosion gets leaked to Tsutako's husband and he instantly goes ape shit. She was only 14 at the time.
Tsutako's husband sends her for three years to study abroad in an isolated island that only he and Tsutako know off. And that is heavily guarded, and also has above the top scholars teaching her.
Once she reaches 16 she begs Tsutako and her husband to let her go to a normal school on her last year in highschool so she can experience what it is like to be, you know, a normal school girl.
Tsutako agrees and after much hesitation and a bit of guilt, her husband does also.
But he doesn't just let her go freely, oh hell no, for he has set up 3 of his best bodyguards(he has more but shh) to guard Giyuu and prevent anything from happening. Luckily those 3 guards have the same age as her(coincidence? Uhehe).
Those guards are:
Shinazugawa Sanemi- Who has been given the role of the delinquent at school because of his many scars from the battlefields. Not much is known about him as he is the only one who doesn't have a background with the Tomiokas and just recently joined.
Urokodaki Sabito- The prominent student who has trained under Urokodaki Sakonji, the best martial arts trainer in all of Japan and his former teacher. The kid has been given the  role of the president of the kendo club, and well, even if they hadn't given him that title, he would've still earned it after defeating the club president.
Rengoku Kyojuro- Youngest of them all by one year but the oldest one of his family. The Rengokus where the right hand  man of the corporation and had been doing so for ages. He was given the role of student council president due to this. With his great charisma and justice-like nature, he managed to win by a landslide.
They have been given 3 rules to follow.
1. Above all else, Giyuu's safety comes first. If she is injured in any way, psychologically, physically or mentally, there will be GRAVE consequences. They will lay your life for her if you need to (Oh angst~).
2. Hiding your identity is crucial, especially towards Giyuu, she must never EVER find out that she has been given protection because the main goal of this was to give her a normal high school experience.(Oof imagine how that is going to play out~)
3. Don't make strong relationships that could potentially ruin the mission, that means not falling in love or make strong friendships as anyone, and it really does mean anyone, could be the enemy. (Uehehehe~ Tsutako's husband knows that Giyuu's beauty is unrivaled, he did marry her sister duh.)
Due to the rules being so strict it seems that shy girl Giyuu(but somehow popular *cough*Komi-San vibes*cough*) gets to be involved in a love squabble between the kendo club president, the student council president and the infamous delinquent.
At least that what is seems for her since the only thing she has learned about highschool was from reading romance stories with her sister.
(Oh dear~ )
[I might do this once I reach my third year possibly, maybe use my school as a template since there are so many ways where they could've planted a bomb here and there, or where there could be some amazing battle scenes :D)
That's it, that's the fic.
Originally I was planning to have only Sanegiyuu but these 4 are just great at being a mess.
We have dense af Giyuu who doesn't understand how the world works because she is rich and isolated. Then Down to earth Sanemi who has been through shit and gets mildly irritated as he sees Giyuu spent a lot of money that isn't even hers (or is it~). (Giyuu may or may not get along with the middle schoolers during these who - Oh my goodness, it seems that they might have ties to tragic backstories(TM).
A tragic story of Sabito never letting go of his first love back in middle school, and doing whatever it takes to rekindle that long lost friendship.(He may or may have not possibly faked his own death which might or might not have let Giyuu to be more distrustful and anri social towards others in fear of her friends dyibg again.)
And the secretive friendship between Giyuu and Kyojuro as  he was the only one that could talk with her while she was stuck in an isolated island. (Ruka was her teacher, and they just talked to each other through letters that passed by a small hole in the wall between the training grounds and Giyuu's bedroom.)
Who will be the enemies?
Who will be the friends?
Who will Giyuu give her heart to?
Find out next time in dragon ball Z-
(Like come on, Fem Giyuu is the embodiment of Komi-San but as a demon slayer, and with a tragic story. )

AFA 2023 Day 3: Day Stage
I was expecting to be slightly late again as it was seriously crowded at about this time for the previous days of AFA. Surprisingly there was barely any queue and I got through the bag check really quick.
The first event of the day stage was Rurouni Kenshin, with Saito Soma and Niwa Masami as featured guests. Before the event started, when the introduction slide with the guest portraits was flashed on the screen, there were a few squealing Saito fangirls in the audience (one of whom was somewhere behind me and was particularly loud, shouting short comments/opinions after Saito spoke throughout the event). I also noticed that most of the audience for this segment were female.
These bits were paraphrased from memory as no photo/video/audio recording was allowed.
The emcees were Yoppi and Reiko. Yoppi came in with a hoarse voice. It seemed like he almost lost his voice and was struggling to speak, but still gave it his all to emcee, saying his body condition was perfect but his throat was 'broken'.
Saito had chilli crab the previous evening and took a stroll in the city.
Saito said that at first it was difficult getting into Kenshin's speaking manner, with Kenshin's habitual 'oro?' and ending his utterances with 'gozaru', an obsolete speaking manner nobody would encounter in modern spoken Japanese. He got used to it eventually.
In some recording sessions, he said 'oro?' many times (I forgot if it was 15 or 50 lol), and he actually added more 'oro' on his own than was scripted. He also said that even though it was the same word, each 'oro' was uttered with slight variances in tone so no two 'oro' were the same.
Saito was asked about the temperature in the recording studio, and he proceeded to bend with his hand really low, nearly touching the ground.
Saito: By the way, what Niwa's wearing is actually my manager's. MC: All of the clothes??? Saito/Niwa: No, no, the jacket/blazer. Niwa: I arrived last evening. Japan's cold right now, but I basically came to Singapore wearing like this (just t-shirt and trousers). MC: That sounds like you'd have stood out at the airport. Niwa: Actually yeah, when I was going through customs in Japan the counter staff looked at me weird.
After Rurouni Kenshin, a majority of the female audience left the hall, and more people came in for the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) stage event. Kind of interesting to observe the change, as Demon Slayer had a clearly more diverse audience.
Next, the guests for Demon Slayer were Kawanishi Kengo (Tokito Muichiro) and one of the producers (I forgot who...)
Yoppi: This isn't your first time in Singapore, right? Kawanishi: I've been here before for a different title, and I think you guys were also the translators.
Both MCs had no recollection of it. (Someone in the Seiyuu Stage Discord server where I shared this with first figured the event he was referring to was probably Gunpla Expo Singapore 2016.)
Kawanishi arrived in Singapore the evening before, had chilli crab and went to the casino with his manager. His manager went in the casino with 10k yen and came out with 6x the amount, but he wasn't as lucky. He said his manager sat on his right at the casino while a random stranger was on his left. Both won money while he was the only one who kept losing.
The emcees then jokingly asked whether his character, Tokito Muichiro would win or lose at the casino. He said that as a hashira, Tokito would probably win, but in reality he as the seiyuu lost.
MC: So where are you planning to go later? Kawanishi: The casino, maybe.
He talked about voicing Tokito Muichiro, about how he recorded without seeing the full animation of the video snippet shown so he had to rely on his imagination when expressing the character's lines.
Kawanishi: As seiyuu, though we were hired to voice major roles, at times we also had to voice other minor roles too. But we actually only get paid for that one major role. Audience: (Aw) (Pay them more) Kawanishi: Even so, I'm happy to get paid just for that one role for the viewers
Kawanishi also mentioned other bits about recording sessions, for example:
During breaks the atmosphere was friendly, but as soon as recording started everyone became serious.
There was a sofa in the studio on which the hashira seiyuus sat in a row, except for him because they were his seniors. He just lurked in a corner nodding along with whatever they said.
Seki would look like he's sleeping, though he wasn't sure if he's really asleep. But as soon as it was Seki's turn to go up to the mic, he'd instantly open his eyes and be immediately ready to deliver his lines, which seemed impressive to Kawanishi.
When it was time for them to take a stage photo with the audience, the emcees joked that since the HQ in Japan was going to see this, that we should show our support and wishes for the seiyuus to get paid more in the photo.
After that was MAPPA's talk featuring 4 series: Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Arc, Bucchigiri?!, Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) The Final Season, Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou (Maboroshi)
The emcees for this segment were Yoppi and Ash. Before it started, the emcees reminded us that recording was not allowed, and also joked (as they had the previous days) that since the talk hadn't started, we could take photos of them instead if we wanted. Yoppi then posed with a V sign while counting down from 5 seconds.
The CEO of MAPPA was supposed to be one of the three featured guests but couldn't attend, so another director stood in for him.
They started with Jujutsu Kaisen, where they showed a seconds-long preview and a few keyframes. They then gave away a Jujutsu Kaisen T-shirt to a random cosplayer from the audience, who kept flexing his biceps when the cameras were on him.
For Bucchigiri?!, they showed the same trailer as the one in the main hall, and talked a bit about the concept of the anime and its 'yankee' characters. As the Japanese word 'yankee' has a different meaning from 'yankee' in English, that became a topic. Ash crouched to demonstrate the image of a Japanese yankee, but then they figured they could just mention Tokyo Revengers, and they ended up talking about Tokyo Revengers for a bit.
For Attack on Titan, other than discussing the series in its 10-year span, they showed a few frames of character closeups.
For Maboroshi, they showed the same trailer as the one in the main hall, and discussed the general themes of the plot. Yoppi then mentioned that he had a role in the film too, as the announcer voice at the start of the trailer. He said that the audience might not have recognised him as he sounded different due to his throat condition then.
They gave away 2 more merch. Posters of Attack on Titan and Maboroshi I think. Many were raising their hands or standing hoping to get picked. A cosplayer in front yelled SASAGEYO! and got one poster, while the other went to another unassuming girl.
I skipped the Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress S3 talk to meet my friend instead so unfortunately I don't have anything from here 囧rz

Welcome to the Japanese archaeologists, this time we are going to talk about Tanabata, so make yourselves comfortable and let's get started. - What is tanabata, when is it celebrated, what is its origin? Tanabata, which originated in China in the Han dynasty, later came to Japan during the Nara period (710 AD - 794 AD) through the nobility, but it was not until the Edo period (1600-1868) that it became popular. This can be seen in anime such as Doraemon (ドラえもん), but there are lots of anime that deal with this theme, a movie that deals with these themes could be: Love of Cat, Kimi no Nawa, Kimetsu no Yaiba I could make a list that would never end of the amount of anime out there that deals with Tanabata. what is tanabata? Legend has it that Orihime and Hikoboshi can only see each other on the seventh moon of the seventh month, a bridge is created that allows them to cross and be together. When is it celebrated? It is celebrated on the 7th of July and the most characteristic of this festivity are the fireworks and in Tokyo for example: the Zojoji temple, but you can appreciate it very well in any temple. tanzaku What does it consist of? You put a piece of paper with your wish on it and place it on bamboo trees. Finally, I would like to mention that there is a constellation that represents this wonderful story. - I hope you liked it and see you in the next posts have a nice week.

Part II - Part III - Part IV - Part V
Summary:
"...and I can't remember my wife's or children's faces..." —Kokushibō Taishō era, 1915. A lonely young woman's life changes after a strange encounter where the surface of a hidden world is revealed. A story of contrasts.
Tumblr media
You foolish girl...
You run shaking fingers over your dry lips, feeling a sear that rushes through your veins like hot, poisoned wine.
It was not supposed to happen this way, and maybe it was indeed all your fault. You’d been weak, tried to show him you didn’t care what he was or what form he took, no matter how divorced from reality it appeared. You only wanted to show him that... that you wanted.
And what precisely did you want? You gaze up at the sky, where the night is cloudless yet there is no moon or stars: as if they, too, fled the aftermath of his fury.
Once, you said you did not fear him, standing like an unmovable pillar before the potent dread and despair that seemed to consume the living breath of everything in his presence. You didn’t know better, and it was easier that way.
“We should never have crossed paths,” you tell the nothingness outside. You wish he could hear it. Then you’d have your dignity back, and maybe he’d be satisfied knowing he was right.
Tumblr media
A spring evening. It was early April, the air drunk on the bloom of cherry blossoms. You were returning from the festival, feeling too warm even in your thin yukata, strands of hair sticking to your temples. It was the herald of a mercilessly hot summer.
Alone, you took the streets towards home, yearning for your refuge after the day’s agitation. You felt safe in your small town and thought nothing of the steps echoing behind: until it was too late.
You offered them whatever money you had, but that was not their intent. Terror paralyzed you, choked you so you couldn’t even yell for aid. You tore at their faces, kicked and thrashed. You’d never known true hatred, but as you cried in despair you wished the grizzliest death upon them.
“How pitiful.”
Words echoing like a hollow wind, words you’ll never forget until your years are spent and the spark of life fades from your body. The grip on your arms froze, and in your own heart fear unending spread like rot.
There was nothing there when you looked, though, only a shadow in the shape of a... man?
“Humans have not changed. You all remain disgusting… and weak.”
His voice was deep. Cold like a winter moon, resonating within you like the shuddering vibrations of an earthquake. A speech strange and antiquated, the tone laced with contempt, and through the blur of tears you couldn’t see his face.
“Even to your kind, preying on others seems to be the norm.”
They... there were two of them, both of which had simply forgotten all about you and turned to run.
You must’ve cried, you must’ve screamed. Your mind couldn’t comprehend what your eyes showed you. You could not even move.
But where two men stood a moment before, now were merely two widening pools of blood, flowing into one another.
The stranger stood there, turned away from you.
You retreated back on your hands and legs, your back hitting the nearest wooden hedge. You tried to speak, but what would you even say? “Will you kill me?”
He looked over his shoulder at you. He had long, shining dark hair, tied back from his face. He wore a kimono and hakama. Was that a blade fastened at his waist? His features were still muddled, or perhaps it was your fear toying with perception but try as you did, you couldn’t discern them.
The stranger—the murderer—turned back ahead, saying nothing.
For a mere moment the paralysis in your limbs eased, and you took the chance: you up and ran, as fast as your legs could take you, never looking back.
Tumblr media
You sit alone on your bench, wiping your forehead. An early summer evening falls. It was another hard day of labor, but you are pleased: the garden now looks as you’d wanted it to, and that brings a sense of peace as you watch the silver slice of the moon, set like a brooch in the velvet sky.
The sensation of being watched is sudden. The surprise is great when you gaze ahead and see the Shadow. The now familiar frost encircles your heart, and the world has become eerily still as even cicadas stopped their endless chirping. You stand.
That night, that gruesome, surreal experience still lingers in your memory, no matter how many times you tried to forget. And now it’s here, a living nightmare having taken two lives that you know of—saving you from your fate in the process. But your curiosity of all things unexplainable is innate, and instead of fear, you find a voice to speak. “Have you... Have you come to take your due from me?”
What does one even ask a revenant? Is this presence such an entity? You’d never been deeply spiritual or religious, but now, this feels like a haunting.
He is not looking at you, as though he’d not heard your question. He appears taken with the small pool mirroring the golden light from several lamps, highlighting the crimson tips of his hair.
You try again. “Am I being haunted?”
No answer comes. He is as still as the stones in your garden.
“Did you make this arrangement… yourself?”
You recall that timbre and odd fluctuations, soft and umbrous. His archaic speech, as from another age. His voice akin to an ill omen. But within, you feel no threat or peril, not this time. Might as well humor him. Or it. “I did,” you answer. You are surely mad… surely, you think, even as your feet drag your body closer until you stand at his side.
His long locks hide most of his features, but despite that you can tell they are youthful, those of someone in their prime. He feels very present, for a ghost.
You watch the water in silence, the sickle moon reflected in the shallow pool. In its mirror-like surface, you, too, look like a shadow next to him. A single petal falls, causing a ripple that breaks the vision.
“I did not thank you, sir. For... that time.” When you blink, you are alone. “Wait!” You look around, darting to and fro in the garden, finding not a wisp of him.
“Well, then. It seems I am being haunted after all.”
Tumblr media
At first, it is morbid curiosity. You go, night after night, sitting in the same place, waiting. The wraith does not show itself again, but still, you go.
One night, you play the flute—an old thing your late father used to entertain you with once upon a time, until you begged and insisted you wanted to be taught too. You’d use the pastime to fill the empty spaces in your day, and it became a habit. It reminded you of him.
An intriguing meld of thrill and fear unfurls in your chest, and you know.
This time, he is seated on the same bench, back straight, posture dignified. His sheathed blade rests over his knees. He never looks at you, your haunting spirit. But he’s returned and this time, you don’t speak at all, you ask no questions. You keep playing, and he listens, and an ancient joy fills you to the brim.
Tumblr media
You play the flute often after that. Sometimes, you also sing, alone. When the moon is full, he stays longer. Now he speaks more than before, though his words are measured and at times even curt. Some questions he never answers: such as his name, his origin.
Once you asked who he’d been in life.
“Different.” Not quite an answer, but the most you’d gotten on the topic.
You slowly set down the flute. “Do you play?”
A hand twitches nervously on his knee: the most human reaction you’ve seen from him to date. It charms you, that same meld of unease and thrill flowering through your body. Wordlessly, you extend your hand, offering him the instrument.
The shock is great: for the brief moment in which his fingers brush yours, there is no other sensation but that of calloused human skin touching skin. He feels as solid as any other man. And this, now this gives you pause.
Your fingers close around his without thought and you gaze upward, finding...
Him, staring back at you, lips parted, revealing... fangs.
His features are indeed young, but like a veil lifted you see him: three pairs of eyes stare back at you, at first in surprise, then narrowing. The next moment he is on his feet, the flute fallen on the ground between you.
“You... You are no wraith.” What are you, then?
He turns around faster than you can see.
You’re shaking, you remember the deaths, his manner, and now the inhuman, impossible make of his physiognomy. Are you hallucinating? You must be. Perhaps loneliness has sickened your spirit, perhaps the effect of his presence instills madness in minds. But you’re boldly pulling at the sleeve of his patterned garment, rounding and facing him.
“Upper Rank… One,” you read in his eyes. He is still as Death, the void of silence surrounding him stronger than ever before. “Is that your name?”
You stare, fascinated. Your body cries flee but as in a spell you lean closer, balancing on your tiptoes. He is tall, taller than any man you’d seen or known; what are you doing? Your arm wraps around his neck and finds hot iron beneath silk. His lips are just as warm as the rest of him, but the rumble of a growl bursts through your chest.
You cannot breathe; the air refuses to enter your lungs.
He faces you, standing a distance away now with veined hands balled into fists.
“You foolish girl...”
His icy voice hurts your ears, the raw hatred in it so scathing your legs fail you as though severed, and you fall to your knees.
“How dare you... I could crush you like a fallen petal.” That same voice, dripping malice withering the life around you. The crimson in his eyes is aflame. “Perhaps, I will...”
“Yes I’m human, and I'm flawed, and overstepped! But you do not even have the courage to say what you are. Why? ... Why do you keep coming here?”
He stares you down, silent, cruelty twisting his mouth.
“Please, tell me. At least tell me, and then do what you will… but why?”
Please… tell me why.
His expression morphs from cruelty to utter horror, yellow pupils blown so wide they nearly swallow the red. His entire presence disrupting the world around you now seeps... regret?
Why? Why must you leave?
He raises a hand as if to ward you off, even though you still kneel and plead.
He takes one step back—away from you—and whispers, for the first time in a trembling voice. “You... your face...”
Michikatsu, please...
He retreats another step, a hand to his head.
We are a family... are you not happy? Are you not...
You slowly rise, against all reason trying to reach him again.
“Begone!” he thunders, and though you near him, though you wrap your arms around him driven by a need so deep its roots reach beyond your own life, you find yourself alone again; unscathed, holding nothing.
The song of cicadas fills the night. Your chest hurts, your heart feels bruised and broken behind your ribs. An overflow of emotion wells in your eyes.
I will never see him again.
A voice within, your own and not your own. But you wish...
You wish it were his fingers playing through your hair instead of the empty wind.
The moon above is blood-red, partly hidden beneath a cloud. The flute lies at your feet, abandoned by the bench.

Today is officially:"星祭り" or Tanabata day! To celebrate this romantic holiday, I created this piece with Kokunaki in mind💓🎋🎐🎊
Looking back at it, I wish I drew the lantern better with references because of how strange it looked😅. Nothentheless, the water took me a while because I hardly drew large bodies of water (if any at all lol).

I LOVED the works you do of kimetsu no yaiba, and if request are open can i make one? Bassically headcanons of tengen, kaigaku and obanai with a geisha reader,if you don't know what geishas are let me explain it to you:
Geishas are a class of female Japanese performing artists and entertainers trained in traditional Japanese performing arts styles, such as dance, music and singing, as well as being proficient conversationalists and hosts. Their distinct appearance is characterised by long, trailing kimono, traditional hairstyles and oshiroi make-up. Geisha entertain at parties known as ozashiki, often for the entertainment of wealthy clientele, as well as performing on stage and at festivals, they often are mistaken for oirans(prostitutes) for the western people due to the similarities of their makeup and kimono.
I hope this is not so Hard for you and remenber that your works are amazing!
Hello Anon ^^ Yes, we can do that 💓
I'm familiar with geishas as I played some games with my OC being one hihi but, thank you for putting specific deets about your req! I appreciate the research ☺️
Hmm however, you didn't put any specific scene for the headcanon. Perhaps I can just make this one like when they visit you and watch you perform ^^

❥ You cannot deny how the mood at the party lights up more from your point of view whenever you see a familiar, flashy visitor stand out among the crowd.
❥ The man would watch you intensely with his fuschia orbs, observing the littlest of your actions. You knew how good he was with music and the arts when you once had the chance to talk to him.
❥ Whenever he visits, he makes sure to tell you how good you are at singing, saying he can "hear the flashiness in every note," which would make you blush furiously beneath the oshiroi on your face.
❥ Sometimes, Tengen would shoo away the people who were gathering around you, making sure that he could spend time with you. The man would never fail to lift your spirits.
❥ You're aware that the man already has three wives, but there are times that Tengen will just tell you that he wants to make you his fourth. Saying that you'll never regret it if you choose to do so.
❥ Tengen would shower you with lavish gifts. It's not that you ask that of him; he just wants to. New kimonos? Check! Expensive hair pins? Check! Gems? Check! Tengen would give it all even if you wouldn't tell him.
❥ The man would always tell you that there are flashier things than being married to art. He would always try to convince you to escape with him. But even if you would love to, you value your passion as much as you value your life. So then, Tengen would just always visit you.
❥ One night, you were awoken from your deep sleep when you felt someone touch your cheek. And when you opened your eyes, Tengen was there, staring at you with his glistening fuschia eyes.
❥ That's the first and last time that Tengen has sneaked into your room. As much as you wanted to ask how he managed to enter the place, you couldn't bring yourself to do so, as you just ended up adoring how beautiful this man is. Tengen plants a soft kiss on your forehead. Saying that you should continue loving art and devote yourself to it. He also adds that he's definitely proud of you, and he loves how flashy you are when you're on stage, as you make the stars jealous.
❥ Now, Tengen still pays you visits, adoring how wonderful you perform on stage. But then, with a blink of an eye, he would disappear in the crowd after flashing you his most flamboyant grin, showing you how happy he is with what you're doing.

❥ Even when you were still a maiko, you were always enchanted by this enigmatic ravenette clientelle who always appeared at the parties you performed at, watching you carefully with his yellow and turquiose eyes.
❥ And even now that you're one of the most beautiful and talented geishas in town, you can still see him around but have never had the chance to talk to him because lots of other clients want your company.
❥ But one time, you finally had the chance to talk with this enigmatic man. And heck, he isn't the conversationalist type. So you try your best to make him speak, wondering why he had bandages wrapped around his mouth in the first place.
❥ He would just shrug, but then hand you the most beautiful jade hair pin that you have ever received.
"Take that and tell me if you ever lost it." "Why?" "I'll buy you a new one."
❥ Even if Obanai had told you that, you still took care of the jade pin that he had given you.
❥ You know that Obanai is just supposed to watch you, but sometimes you will find your hands entwined with his under the table.
❥ You know that you can't be with this man even if you wanted to, as you have already chosen to devote your life to art and entertainment. Obanai isn't against that. He always made sure to tell you how much he adored you.
❥ He won't look at you when he praises you.
❥ But still, despite that, you would still choose his quiet and calm company over others. He makes you feel special.
❥ Obanai would never say it, but the man had always been watching you through Kaburamaru, keeping you safe from demons even if he had to give you special visits that you'd never know.
🌸𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐤𝐮🌸
Tumblr media
❥ Kaigaku would always make his presence known at every party that you hosted and performed at. He would definitely make his way in front of the crowd to watch you perform your best.
❥ Your first meeting isn't as sweet as you had imagined, as he thought you were an oiran, which freaked you out. But then, moments after that, the man was content to clap for you in the crowd.
❥ Surely Kaigaku's not the sweetest one, but whenever he manages to get your attention from all of your clients, he will share his apple with you. You would love this small, sweet gesture, as this is one of the moments when he wouldn't appear too harsh.
❥ The man would never directly praise you; he's just too shy to do so.
❥ He'll tell you how your motions in dancing could make a great breathing style if you ever choose to become a demon slayer like him. Yes, Kaigaku wants you to turn back to being a geisha and join him as a demon slayer; for him, your life would be more meaningful there.
❥ You would never agree with him, saying that whatever your passion is, it matters as much as being happy.
❥ One night, Kaigaku visited the house that you belong to. He had brought you kimonos and told you that they would look good on you. But then, that's the last night that you have seen the demon slayer. Admit it or not, you miss him.
❥ Lately, whenever you slept, you would sense some presence but ignore it as you were too tired to think about it. But one night, you'll swear that you have seen Kaigaku beside you, whispering how much he misses you but can't be with you anymore.
❥ Without you ever knowing, Kaigaku's always there, watching you in secret, checking you at night as he can never visit your parties like before anymore or walk under the sun to meet you face-to-face ever again.

I wanted to make it like Y/N leaves her passion for them buuuut I can't do it XD I just feel like if I was in her place, I wouldn't turn my back at being a geisha even if it's Uzui who'll ask me to do so (I freaking love the guy tho huhu) XD But that's just me lol
