My first attempt at using two heddles for finer cloth. Did I do this just to torture myself? Probably. I think it's turning out all right, but I am not sure. Guess we'll see when I start weaving. Also, for some reason, I chose a linen blend, so that will be fun.
I've heard these refered to as dish towels, kitchen towels, hand towels, or hand cloths. (My guess is it depends on the use and location, bathroom, kitchen, washings dishes, or washing your hands etc.)
I recently bought an embroidery machine for my birthday and then stumbled onto embroiderydesign.com where I found way too many patterns to fall in love with, including this one. I have this same saying on a nice sized Oklahoma rainbow sign in my house and had to make a tea towel of it.

After fixing SO many threading errors, I have finally started weaving. The fabric has more of an open sett than I would like, so when I do this again, I will use two 12 dent heddles instead of the 10 dent heddles I am currently using.
I rather love the typography the designer used for these patterns I picked up off embroiderydesign.com. It's not something I have the where withall to put together, and I have to admire someone who can think like this. Going to take some of the day to play with ink/stitch and see if I can make a few patterns of my own today.
