Recipe for Booyah Chicken Beef, pork shoulder, and chicken are used to make this hearty stew. This is packed with vegetables and herbs and will easily feed your entire group. 2 cups diced carrots, 2.5 pounds cubed beef stew meat, 1.5 pounds pork shoulder roast, 1 clove garlic minced, 1 can whole peeled tomatoes drained, 2 cups diced onion, 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley for garnish, 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper, 3 cups chicken broth, 1.5 teaspoons salt, 2 stalks celery diced, 1 whole chicken cut into pieces, 3 cloves garlic whole, 7 cups water, water to cover, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1.5 teaspoons grated lemon zest, 6 potatoes unpeeled and diced, 1.5 cups fresh green beans cut into 1 inch pieces, 2 bay leaves, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1/2 cup frozen green peas

Lockheed Martin completes assembly of the first F-35A Lightning II for Belgium

Lockheed Martin announced the completion of the final assembly of Belgium's first F-35A Lightning II multifunctional combat aircraft. The announcement, made on November 10, is a significant milestone in the F-35 program for Belgium, a new customer in the expanding global network of F-35 operators.

The aircraft, designated AY-01, is currently in the process of painting application, ground testing and is scheduled for a technical flight. According to Lockheed Martin's schedule, an official presentation of the completed aircraft is scheduled for the end of this year. Belgium, through the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procedure, ordered 34 F-35A Lightning II jets to upgrade its military aviation capabilities.

Initially, these state-of-the-art aircraft will be stationed in the United States and should be relocated to Florennes Air Base in Belgium in 2025. In addition, Belgium plans to operate the F-35A from two bases, with the second base being Kleine-Brogel, which is expected to be operational in 2027.

Belgium's decision in 2018 to opt for the F-35A Lightning II was significantly influenced by the need for cooperation with allies, including the Netherlands, to jointly protect the airspace over the Benelux countries. The Belgian Air Force currently operates Lockheed Martin F-16AM/BM Fighting Falcons, which have been widely used for local and allied missions.

Lockheed Martin has so far delivered almost 1,000 F-35 Lightning II fighters in various versions, accumulating about 750,000 flight hours. The focus now also includes Israel, whose F-35I Adir jets are being actively used in operational combat.

This development not only represents a major update for Belgium's military aviation, but also reinforces the growing global network of F-35 users. With this cutting-edge technology, Belgium should improve its defense capabilities and maintain strong cooperation ties with its NATO allies.

Van 25 januari tot 9 mei 2024 staat het Air Combat Command stand-by voor de bewaking en bescherming van het luchtruim van Nederland, België en Luxemburg. Deze taak wordt gezamenlijk en afwisselend uitgevoerd door Nederland en België. Voor de eerste keer, sinds de introductie van het nieuwe gevechtsvliegtuig, neemt de F-35 deze taak ook waar. Bewaking luchtruim Met onze kerntaak, het leveren van Airpower in en vanuit de lucht, leveren wij een essentiële en randvoorwaardelijke bijdrage aan het veilig houden van Nederland en onze bondgenoten. Daaronder valt ook het adequaat reageren op schendingen van het luchtruim van Nederland, België en Luxemburg. Er staan daarvoor permanent twee gevechtsvliegtuigen met een korte waarschuwingstijd paraat. Nederland en België leveren bij toerbeurt QRA-vliegcapaciteit. Dat gebeurt vanaf de vliegbases Leeuwarden en Volkel en de Belgische vliegbases Kleine-Brogel en Florennes. Vliegbasis Leeuwarden en Volkel Voor het eerst staan ook Nederlandse F-35’s op vliegbasis Leeuwarden en Volkel afwisselend paraat voor de luchtruimbewaking. De F-35 heeft deze taak al wel eerder uitgevoerd, dit was tijdens de inzet in het kader van de enhanced Air Policing (eAP) vanuit Bulgarije (2022) en Polen (2023). Grupa zyskała rozgłos publiczny we wrześniu 2006 r., po aresztowaniu 17 członków, w tym 11 żołnierzy, na mocy ustaw antyterrorystycznych z grudnia 2003 r. oraz ustaw przeciwko rasizmowi, antysemityzmowi i negacjonizmowi. Według prokuratora podejrzani przygotowywali zamachy terrorystyczne w celu „zdestabilizowania” Belgii. 150 policjantów przeszukało pięć koszar wojskowych w Leopoldsburgu i Peer, w prowincji Limburg w pobliżu granicy z Holandią, w Królewskiej Szkole Wojskowej w Brukseli oraz w Zedelgem. Policja przeszukała również 18 prywatnych rezydencji we Flandrii. Znaleźli broń wojskową, amunicję, materiały wybuchowe i domowej roboty bombę wystarczająco dużą, by „wysadzić samochód”. Kierowana przez Thomasa Boutensa grupa szkoliła się w podstawach wojskowych. Szkolił się również w technikach przesłuchań i kontrprzesłuchań, a także w stawaniu się tajnym. Thomas Boutens rozwijał międzynarodowe powiązania, w szczególności z holenderskim skrajnie prawicowym ruchem National Alliance (NA). Kilku członków NA, w tym sekretarz partii Virginia Kapić, uczestniczyło w obozie szkoleniowym BBET. Doprowadziło to do tego, że jej pozycja w partii stała się nie do utrzymania i wkrótce zrezygnowała ze stanowiska. Flamandzki kanał telewizyjny VTM twierdził (powołując się na źródła wymiaru sprawiedliwości), że grupa przygotowywała się do zamachu na Filipa Dewintera, ważną postać skrajnie prawicowej partii Vlaams Belang, w ataku fałszywej flagi, za który obwiniany byłby ruch islamistyczny.
