Here's my Holiday piece for the year, as comfortably well-off top executives warm by their Christmas eve fire and eat their bisque… but soon each one will be haunted by three spirits. In the case of the current leader of a teetering film studio, his is the haunting of The Ghosts of Christmas Write Offs. Past, present and future. Expect the first tomorrow when the bell strikes one.

"The City Toadstool", just in time for a new Mario game! I've already drawn Rosalina and wanted to do the princesses for a while. I finally earlier this year I clicked on the idea of doing a "country girl, valley girl" contrast between the two of them.

A Sonic piece, starring Team Chaotix! Mostly aimed to capture a vibe while getting to draw them. I kept forgetting to post this thru June, even on the heels of a new game announced. Vector, Charmy and Espio was kinda put on lower priority throughout last month.

"Sometimes You Can't Just Get Rid of a..."
I've done takes on Wonder Woman and Supergirl and I knew Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) would eventually follow. This was one of the first to start development way way back when I had the idea to draw multiple DC heroines in their own pictures. Work on Babs started ten years ago, restarted several times, finally nailed something down and finished it late last year and I wound up almost forgetting to post it for this month go figure.

Zelda again, everyone and myself included is playing Tears of the Kingdom but had always wanted to do a Wind Waker-centric piece for years. Initially I thought of doing something more tonally reserved and playing into the expansiveness of The Great Sea but later opted to make the piece fun by throwing Aryll in the action.

"Affordable housing, right?" This piece is based on the work by Jenn Strickland an outstanding artist and animator. Been a fan of her style since encountering her portfolio ages ago and as of recently she's been a co-director and artist on Amphibia.

"It's a duct tape kind of Friday." Some art for @theycallhimcake, the idea to draw their OC Cassie was a backburner idea for almost ten years before finally dusting it off and coming back to it with fresh eyes.

Okay lets try this again... Almost ten years, productivity tweaks and a few industry jobs later... I redid this from the ground up while still keeping a little of the core visual idea behind it back then. Took a bit of time coloring and polishing this up but had a lot of fun playing around with colors and effects.

“Can they imagine too?!”
Felt inspired earlier this year to do a hyper cartoony take on Journey Into Imagination, and just in time for the 40th anniversary of Epcot Center. Disney park fans are starved for anything Figment it turns out.

Went for a more obscure pull this time. It's Baby Hughes Duck, or Baby Huey for short. Most of the old Famous Studios / Harveytoons characters have gone the way of Mighty Mouse or Farmer Al Falfa in faded public consciousness but if a cartoon series' formula works, it works.

"Service Work" (or "The Escape from Mr. Fart")
Like many people caught by surprise, I played a bunch of Lethal Company with friends last Fall. When thinking about something to draw for it, it made sense to combine it with my own sci-fi characters. In this case, Nash and the others are forced to take in service work during a GUD slump.

I realized a while ago I could bring back an old design (from 2018 while I was animating on Mega Man) and stick her into Jesse and Tikka-Din's world. The jersey elf doesn't really have a name but maybe someday she might get one.

Last November I openly asked for suggestions for a Nintendo-focused SixFanArts piece. Most of it was finished by the end of the year and was able to fully finish it last month.
