Headcannons:

Courage and Koridai as Mothman cryptids are definitely… animalistic. They bring you food and water while keeping you hidden from the forest happenings. They don’t care who you were connected to back in your village, your their’s now.

Protected from everything. Doesn’t matter how threatening the beast that opposed them, if it so much as frightened you in the slightest it’s nothing more than a corpse.

Definitely stalked you in your village before they took you. They kept notes of your little habits and ensured your safety. Made sure where they hid you would be out of the village’s reach. Made sure your spouse was dead after you were successfully obtained.

Lots of pet names revolving around the light. My sun, My moon, My star, etc.

They made their mutual agreement to share you, sure. But that doesn’t mean they like it. The other is constantly planning to pull you away, hide you all to himself. Jealous boys.

It was Courage who volunteered to kill your spouse. Not really a ‘volunteering’, more that he stated rather simply to Koridai that he’d be the one to do the job and that was the end of it. Koridai was just pleased that he’d jet to hold his little love’s body and keep them safe. And if all went well, to himself. The actual stealing of you was rather simple. Get in -you forgot to lock your doors, but it’s okay, you must’ve known they were coming.- get rid of the… extra waste of space and utter fool to think they were worthy of you and get out. And given Courage’s seething hatred for the person who so freely called you, rival to the sun with such radiance, their lover, he made easy work of drowning them in their own blood.

“Golly, they look even better from up close” Koridai whispered, spellbound. His wings chittered as he held you, euphoric to finally be so close. Courage didn’t bother to clean the scene, Koridai too enraptured in your sleeping face to give a care to anything else. Besides, it’d send a pretty clear message to not search for you.

Why is this literally the funniest fucking ask- HBDIUCBIHFCIUCR4RC THE DISRESPECT TO COURAGE'S NAME HAS ME HOWLING DEHXFCHUCFHUCHECEDNCDE

I GOTCHU THO BRO- this is set before the duo meet Courage btw ~~~~~~~~~~

The streets were bustling with people, calls echoing from the market about produce, children laughing as they played and fishermen either hauling in their catch of the day or setting sail for fishing- Koridai’s hometown looked to be pulled right from a fantasy, which was no surprise seeing as this entire scene to you was literally a fantasy come true!

Even so, you were in wonderment, holding onto Koridai’s hand, his grip firm (already 3 close calls of you wandering off had put the fear of the Goddess into him) as he manoeuvred through the people, mouth moving miles a minute as he spoke.

The Kingdom of Koridai practically bordered the Kingdom of Hyrule, only split by the seamlessly never-ending tides, so after a day’s journey by boat you had entered the country and the hero had practically dragged you to experience his hometown. 

“-you should have seen the guy's face! He stunk of fish guts for weeks! Serves him right for messing with my brother!” Koridai laughed, merry and light as you walked through the marketplace, your eyes wandering to each stall “Golly, it’s been so long since I’ve explored this town! The last time I was here I was setting towards Gamelon!”

“Shame, this place is beautiful.”

When he glanced back at you, his mouth upturned in his familiar little smirk you rolled your eyes. “Not as beautiful as you~”

“Damn, flirt.” Lightly you pushed his shoulder, nothing much happening with his hand still tight around your own and he tugged you back to him with a laugh, your head falling to his shoulder. “Lay off, will you.”

“Awh but you’re too cute!”

“Yeah, well, you’re not too bad looking yourself, pretty even.”

“Pretty enough for a kiss?~”

“Nope.”

He deflated like a child, whining your name with puppy-kicked eyes while you laughed, eyes creasing in joy when your gaze met a small stall sitting in the corner, a lone old lady patiently waiting for a customer with her abundance of stock, your sight catching a beautifully made ring that shone in the light of the sun. Hypnotising in a way, your feet gently brought you towards the stall, Koridai following along when he perked up.

“Lynne!”

The older woman’s pointed ears twitched, old eyes narrowing before she seemed to light up in a similar way. “Oh, Link! It’s been so long.”

The small woman waddled to meet the man halfway, their hug a gentle one as you watched from the sidelines, intrigued and intruding all at once as the two conversed like old friends.

It was nice seeing Koridai like this, the hero persona pushed aside to show the kind young man behind it. No smug playboy, but a mature hero who knew where his roots stood, it was like looking through the walls of a tiny old shack to see the happy and content family within- the phrase “you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover” came to mind as they continued to talk until finally, Lynne turned to you.

“And whose this, Link? Your lover?” You tensed, your face growing in warmth as she gently grabbed your hand, looking up at you brightly. “You possess such kind eyes, my dear, I hope Link is treating you well.”

“I- We- He’s actually-”

“Oh, you bet!” He grinned, arm wrapping snugly around your waist and bringing your closer to his side, nuzzling against your cheek as a sign of affection. 

It…it felt nice, your face heating with a more adoring flush as your hand fell to hold his still against your hip.

You only felt (very) a little giddy when he grinned against you.

“Oh, I’m so glad, such a handsome couple, here-” She reached forward, grasping the ring you had been eyeing in interest earlier and handing it towards you gently. “I could see you were looking at it. Please, take it.” 

Your heart skipped at the pure gesture. “But I couldn’t just take it, at least let me-”

“Oh, no, no, consider it a gift.”

She gently laid it in your hand, the small jewellery still sparkling even as you protectively curled your fingers around it, looking up at the woman gratefully.

“...Thank you, Ms Lynne.”

“Lynne is fine, sweetheart.” She smiled, her wrinkles adding a motherly touch “Off you go now, if I know Link he still has much to show you of the town. Go on!”

She waved you away, the both of you yelling your farewells as you disappeared deeper into the crowd until Lynne was no longer in sight, you still tucked firmly to the taller man’s side as you walked, his thumb rubbing at your hip over your clothes.

“She’s sweet…” You mentioned after a few moments, still flustered over her mistake.

Koridai’s ears flickered happily at the words. “The sweetest! She used to cook dinner for the kids on our street so that our mothers could have a break! Haha!”

You chuckled at that, studying the beautiful ring once more before slipping it onto your finger, rubbing gently at the crested gem before looking back at Koridai whose eyes were already settled on you.

The bustling town never felt so empty when staring into those eyes of emerald green, the calls of the people never sounded so quiet as you put on your focus on him. You couldn’t deny that Koridai was handsome, beautiful, the best of every compliment that came to mind and the same giddiness from earlier came to hit you hard as he leaned closer, looking at your lips and then at your eyes.

So cliche, but even a cliche like this wouldn’t stop the pounding of your heart.

“So, about that kiss?” The man’s voice was a whisper, soft against your ears but still filled with his usual eagerness. 

“What about it?” Cursing mentally for sounding breathless, you settled your hands on his shoulders.

“Think you could spare your hero just one?”

…Hell, what was one kiss?

Your mouth moved to answer, both of your just a breath away-

When someone shoved past, your yelp comical as you felt your body begin to drop only for Koridai to tug you back towards him, his pout cute as he yelled out a frustrated “Hey, watch it!” back at the man who brushed him off, vanishing behind a wall of people.

The blonde turned back at your giggle, hand moving to cover your mouth to muffle it when it got a little too loud.

“God, that was so fucking cliche.” You were yanked back up, still against the hero’s chest as you chuckled. “Of course, just as we’re about to kiss someone has to ruin it.”

This whole world was just full of these things, huh?

“I-It doesn’t have to be ruined!” He stammered, not wanting the moment to end. “Listen, it was just a small fumble but-”

You held his face when you kissed the edge of his lips, soft, sweet but lingering as the man relaxed against your palms, ears flapping rapidly with hearts practically dancing in his eyes when you finally pulled away, once again giggling at his face.

“Golly~” The sigh was breathless, similar to your own voice not even a moment ago. “I think you missed~”

With a smirk, you pulled away. “Eh, maybe next time.”

“H-Huh?! Not, wait, (Name)!”

Greetings, introductions aside, may i please request a yandere Courage and Koridai?

Gender neutral reader please, I'm actually not sure if you write for any of them because I'm quite new to your blog.

But hopefully you do because i don't see a lot of Yandere Koridai and Courage, the only blog owner i know that does that is Cloudninetonine, but aside from that, that's all I'm seeing.

Perhaps the reader is done with both of their crap, always arguing and such that instead of stopping them both like the reader always does, they just let both of them do whatever argument, because they always get roped in it in the end and instead of stopping they just find a new thing to argue on, and it's always about the reader.

The two yanderes notice this, of course.

I mean, who wouldn't notice the change in behavior of their beloved? Who wouldn't notice the tiredness of the love of their life's voices whenever they try to start a conversation? Who wouldn't notice the short replies that their obsession gives them?

Nobody, of course!

Koridai is smug and plays dumb to everything while Courage is unashamed and presses you for attention by just being clingy in a way that doesn't come off as clingy. Koridai is a stalker who uses emotions over facts and will often play you like a fiddle for what he wants. Playing dumb isn't too bad for his reputation because at heart he's a master at deception. Courage will fight dirty and collect research prior to his attempts to court you, and no one really has any idea how events transpire around him; they just give him the benefit of the doubt because he can easily play the sympathy card and have people falling for his stories. Why was he in your room? Looking to sprite his fairy, why was she there well you see- and his story will just have everything swept under the rug.

The way the two show up in whatever room you're in can be ignored at first but eventually people start to notice- especially you. Both of them specialise in one thing, seeing who can trap you in their arms first. Which is negotiated and they settle on sharing you in the end but never giving up on their rivalry. You start to get annoyed as the challenges rise and they start treating you in a strange almost biblical sense.

You can't ever seem to catch a break from either of them but with Koridai? It's just the worst! He never leaves your sides and they bicker about the most useless things. From the colour that best suits you to what they should do first today. The way they talk about you is annoying and makes you blush from embarrassment, but now you'd wish they'd find other hobbies. And the way they both seem to plan out every aspect of your day while you're right there just standing there and they don't seem to include you at all is so outrageous.

God forbid anything happen to you, because the rumours of what Koridai did in the town are only overshadowed by the ear talking off that Courage gave you. Why you can't do that again, why you shouldn't go out, why you need him or Koridai with you at all times, and why you have to trust them. There are several people who know more than you and who can help you, and how he just has to go on and on!

When you do stand up and storm off when they bicker as they always do, and they dont realise you left while the two were goofing off until it was too late. Suddenly it's no longer time for games and it's time for them to figure out who is going to hunt you down first.

Courage is bold and brash while koridai is deceptive and uses his charm to decide. They're almost polar opposites which is why they work so well together. They cover all the bases and while Courage enjoys being there for you he's more of a tough adventure turned knight while Koridai enjoys going out and getting his hands dirty and is better at playing the role of a chivalrous knight. He was trained in a Hyrule that really did have knights after all. He's never travelled and may have less on the road experience but he is a lady's man at heart and loves to do small things like hold open all your doors. He is also the one to clean up the messes while Courage takes care of the social aspect. The people here trust him more and he knows his way around. They both get the job done but do it so well together it's hard to see where one influence ends and the other begins.

The other Links can work together but no one has a dynamic quite like theirs in my head. They're the best pair only to be rivalled by some yandere zeldas/Link pairs.

so when you go quiet it's all hands on deck. as the silent treatment continues and the replies only turn out to be short they turn up their next tactic; who can charm your pants off first! not literally of course (Koridai smacked Courage over the head for that comment) rather who can charm you out of your shell. Korida goes for gifts and follows you until you're too far from town to turn for help and he'll corner you and ask what's wrong in a sweet, low tone. “It's been several days love- are you ok?” He knows what he did wrong but he refuses to admit it and will ask about things that happened throughout the week that are all unrelated to the issue at hand but seem to- from an outsider -be the cause of your short temper. He waits until you talk about it and lays it on sweet.

Courage will go all in on the “I know what I did was wrong but here's why it’s ok” as he spends the next twenty minutes explaining how he really isn't wrong. Look he gets his talking from the princess and is on good terms with ehr even despite how much he goofs off. He knows how to talk and sound pretty convincing in that sweet and rugged boyish charm sort of way. Of course that's not all he can do, he gets his kicks out of keeping you entertained with the facade but really he wants to take themask off and just lock you away somewhere. He doesn't because he knows that won't help anyone (just yet) but he gets close and will only get closer if you keep ignoring him.

The trick is to keep them both bothering each other rather than you, which will backfire if they decide to share all the way.

This has been sitting there for so long thank you for the wait. I still have a two chapter fic planned for these two and I will work on it later tonight (hopefully). I just have to clear requests out and so I finally got to this. Thank you for waiting! I love these two so much and I need to write for them more. I have long formed content planned with them as well but I'm waiting until I finish a few more requests so that way I don't make people wait for too long.

Hiiiiiii I'm back (I know it's been a while) so yeah I come back this time with a different licence, yes I got back to the tloz fandom and start to draw again so yeah. And thanks to @cloudninetonine ....... my oc got to the dark side of the licence, the forbidden ones....well two out of three at least ^^" so yeah if somehow someone is interest in my au I'll explain more about it but for now here's the result of the oc of the koridai timeline! So yeah I hope it's okay to take inspiration of the backstory write by them for my au, if it's alright of course! I'll change it if it cause trouble

Ganon is a terrorist and tyrant who had previously seized the island of Koridai, to which Hyrule's governing royals were well aware of but refused to help. there are relief plans underway to help the families escape.

Hi! I just want to ask which hero is koridai and courage are?

Ah- Uh- So to my knowledge (which is most likely wrong) courage is from the TV show which was i believe in the 80’s and that characterisation. Koridai, on the other hand, i have no clue. There’s a game? I think? Idk, I’ve just picked up what other people put down.

It was useless. No matter how hard I tried to struggle I couldn't muster the strength to move, much less fight back against Koridai as he rolled me over in my bedroll. He had woken me up in the middle of the night by just being himself. His habits and mannerisms were always a little off putting but no more so than usual that night. He was hanging around closer than I would have preferred and making his bedroll not even a foot away from mine. If he wanted to move closer he could ask but instead he just pretended to be sneaky in his attempts to roll closer to me throughout the night.

I had my growing suspicions that this knight wasn't all that met the eye but I didn't think he would actively drug me. This was the most condemning thing he had done and if it were possible to get away I would have tried to run back to town. It was only a few days away but he couldn't keep me like this forever could he?

It was the pain in my neck that told me something was wrong but my body felt oddly weightless, and far too heavy to move. I had no choice but to lay here. Koridai moved my arm to the side so he could snuggle into my chest. My bedroll couldn't cover both of us and he seemed to realise this part way through making himself comfortable. He groaned audibly and muttered a curse under his breath as he got up and dragged his own bedroll next to mine.

He set it down and moved it as close to me as possible and then laid back down. I just watched him with half closed eyelids while hoping he would just leave.

Once again he laid down next to me and laid one of my arms over his shoulder. Intertwining me with him so we were laying like two lovers about to rest rather than a friend and their terrifying hero. He acted so calmly about it. I stared blankly at him as he eyed me up and down. Taking in what I looked like in my nightgown. It wasn't like it was anything revealing, couldn't have been in this weather, but by the deep red blush on his face I could tell he still thought of this as incredibly scandalous.

Which just made his actions all the more questionable. He turned around, placing his back to my chest. Still holding my arm he wrapped it around him. Properly making me the big spoon as he pressed himself flush against my body. I tried to wriggle away but all I could manage to do was slightly shift my weight from one side to another. It was useless. As of right now there was no way to fight.

Even if I could move there was no doubt in my mind that it would be a tough fight if Link really wanted to make it difficult. The only thing saving me seemed to be his knightly principles. I'm pretty sure that he would blush if I showed him my ankles in a suggestive manner. His greatest downfall was his own love. He was just a blushing mess if you hit him in the right spot. That didn't mean he wasn't dangerous if you made an enemy of him but I was stuck and there was no way out; but I was aware of my own safety and how I wasn't in any real danger. 

What a strange situation. I groaned and tried to get some thoughts out but it was too difficult to say anything with the fog over my brain. I was falling asleep as it was and there was nothing I could do to stop the peaceful pull over my eyelids.

“Promise you wont be mad once morning hits?” he asked. His voice was quiet and hopeful. I was going to attempt a response but nothing came out. It was too late for me to say anything. He laughed. A small chuckle at first but then it got louder. He took a deep breath and stayed quiet as he spoke. His back was still towards me so it was harder to make out the words.

“Next morning you won't remember this, but that's ok love. I'll remember this moment of ours.”
